581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin technology and as a currency different? on: May 06, 2019, 08:27:38 PM
What i have seen all throughout the forums is that people focus upon the price of bitcoin BTC and the hodl process, focusing primarily on the price aspect and not the technological one can anyone assist me in identifying the co-relation with them.

Currently, the crypto ecosystem is made up of about 70% investors who are just concern about the market price of Bitcoin and have little or no knowledge about the bitcoin technology. They don't even see bitcoin as a digital currency used for the transaction of goods and services, all they see Bitcoin has an investment venture rather then a payment system.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered a Religion? on: May 04, 2019, 04:56:17 PM
Bitcoin can never be consider as religion. Why do you want to see bitcoin as a religion ? According to the dictionary definition, Religion is the belief in a reality beyond what is perceptible by the senses, and the practices associated with this belief. Or  A particular system of such belief, and the rituals and practices proper to it.  Bitcoin is a digital form of fiat which operates on a peer to peer decentralized system. Bitcoin do not qualify to be a belief or practices by a group of people.
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers running free on: May 02, 2019, 09:47:32 PM
Not until we start seeing crypto scammers get arrested for real many new investors won't join,I have friends that won't join crypto because of scammers running away with ICO funds forever ,no way to arrest them and get the funds out of them, the few news I read about getting some scammers is not enough ,the more there is an effective way the less scammers will harm crypto

Arresting crypto scammers will not stop the activity of investors investing into scam projects and getting their money robbed from them. The only solution to this problem, is by educating all crypto investors on spending some quality amount of time to research on  any project they come across in the crypto ecosystem  before deciding to either invest or recommend to any body for them to invest in.  This will limit the amount of scam projects available in the crypto space....
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining Still Viable? on: May 02, 2019, 09:32:58 PM
Crypto or Bitcoin mining will also be viable in as much that the general crypto ecosystem is concerned. It's level or range of profitability is strictly determined by the longevity of the period of mining. Short term mining investors do not make anything out of their investment. Long term miners are the people who are really seeing how profitable crypto mining is.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto - Can We Find Him ? on: May 02, 2019, 09:17:45 PM
It's high time people in the crypto ecosystem stop speculating about trying to find the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto and just try to accept the relevance of Bitcoin and blockchain technology to the world's financial ecosystem. Knowing the identity of Satoshi is not really needed for the operation of Bitcoin and also will it not help in the improvement of the blockchain technology. Let's not waste our time on something which has not direct relevance to the entire Bitcoin ecosystem..
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is a Bitcoin Millionaire on: May 02, 2019, 09:07:09 PM
I'm pretty sure anyone here or anywhere that holds thousands of bitcoins prefer to not expose themselves. That's pretty much just like asking to be kidnapped or to be targeted by hackers.

Considering the current state of the crypto ecosystem, people are concern about protecting their digital asset rather than making the amount of Bitcoin in their wallet known to the general public.  The crypto space currently is not really safe to show the amount of Bitcoin you have in your  wallet. A bitcoin millionaire is some one who gained about 90% of the total number of Bitcoin through either mining or trading and his/her bitcoin which can be estimated about 1000 worth of Bitcoin in his/her wallet.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin be limited to 21 million? on: May 02, 2019, 08:54:18 PM
The 21 million is a lie.

I definitely think so. Maybe the 21 million Bitcoins stated  in its whitepaper as the total number of bitcoin was just an estimation made by Satoshi to give the general public an assumption of the total number of Bitcoin which will be mined if Bitcoin comes a globally used digital cash. I don't think Bitcoin is actually limited to the total number of 21 million, there are more available if the assumed number is exceeded.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not buy Ethereum on: May 02, 2019, 03:29:14 AM
Now I will name just three reasons why you should not buy Ethereum. Of course, you can call an almost infinite number of reasons why you should not buy airwaves, but we are not chasing after quantity, but quality. I believe that these three reasons are enough to not even think about investing in the air.

1. The ether has infinite emission.
Even if there were no other reasons, I would still not have bought Ethereum because of the endless issue. Gold will cease to be gold, if it is endlessly "printed." Did you know about this?

2. Ethereum regularly hosts hurricanes to return, for example, stolen funds and this greatly undermines the decentralization of the coin. In this way,
large investors may be wary of investing in the air because of fear of losing money.

3. The hurdles are conducted only for very large investors, for example, because of the DAO fund. If you steal even one million dollars, you probably will not get anything back. There is discrimination.

What do you think?

In my opinion considering the current state of the crypto market, I strongly disagree with you on these reasons above. Ethereum in the year 2019 is currently one of the best crypto coins to invest in for a short term or use in daily trading activities. It presents the investor about 10% to 40% profit margin. All cryptocurrencies have their own risk attached to it. It's all about having a good strategy and knowing when to sell or buy..
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining would bring back excessive profit? on: May 02, 2019, 02:32:22 AM
Bitcoin mining is very lucrative when you decide to going in for a long term investment plan. The profit nature of bitcoin mining strongly depends on how long you decide to mine without pausing or quitting. If you invest $10k into building a mining rig which generates about $50 worth of bitcoin within  a day and you decide to mine for a year without touching your Bitcoin earned via mining, the profit will be massive even if the price of Bitcoin is down.  Bitcoin mining is not short term something to judge how lucrative it is.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Crypto currencies in our country. on: May 02, 2019, 01:34:00 AM
In as much that Bitcoin is used people for the payment of goods and services, about 30% of the general population of people in the Bitcoin ecosystem actually use it for this. The remaining percentage are either trading with it to earn more or they are hodling it in their wallet waiting for the price of Bitcoin to raise in value. Bitcoin is now considered as an investment Asset by a lot of people in the crypto space than seeing it as a currency for transaction of goods and services.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canada approved paying bitcoin with Bitcoin for Innisfil town on: May 01, 2019, 11:56:46 PM
Once the entire world get to know and understand that they can't stop people from using Bitcoin, they will have no choice but to accept the use of it. I usually get excited when I see such news regarding the acceptance of Bitcoin as an alternative form for the payment of goods and services. Its great that Canada has seen the relevance of using Bitcoin in their financial economy.
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good idea? on: May 01, 2019, 11:49:47 PM
This is not a bad idea at all, but you should know your market as in knowing the possible number of people who are interested in buying and owning a t shirt with the logo cryptocurrencies on it.  In as much that it is a nice design, how lucrative this can be is the most important thing to consider before going into full production of the T shirts.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you teach bitcoin if someone does want to know coming from you? on: May 01, 2019, 11:42:24 PM
I was ask if I could teach what bitcoin or cryptocurrency is all.about. Since, I am.not.knowledgeable in technical.part then I may have some.difficulty on explaining it. All I know is that bitcoin has volatility in terms of.its market price and this is the only thing I can share with the guy.

I just want get ideas from you guys on where to start teaching the guy. Should I start on joining exchange?, creating Wallet?, how to transfer btc?,

Bitcoin is indeed a complicated technology. Is there any chance that this all could be done easily or simplied? Could you suggest that to me. Post your replies and thank.you in advance.

You don't need the technical aspect of Bitcoin and the blockchain Technology to make people understand what Bitcoin and Blockchain technology are and also understanding the concept of it. All you need to know and understand is that, bitcoin is an alternative form of physical fiat which operates on a platform (Blockchain technology) which acts as a medium to confirm and record all bitcoin sent and received. Once you understand this basic form of what Bitcoin and Blockchain technloogy are, you can now build on that with further information about it.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should belive Crypto? on: May 01, 2019, 11:32:04 PM
The crypto space is currently one of the most profitable investment avenue in the world and cryptocurrency is the true definition of financial freedom. Believing in crypto is an under statement, we should live crypto not believe in crypto. Living crypto means that you understand everything that has to do it and you also understand its relevance to the entire world in terms of its purpose and nature. So for me, I live crypto and trust in its purpose in terms of financial freedom is concern..
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't follow the hype on: May 01, 2019, 11:23:00 PM
Hypes are just marketing strategies developed by project managers just to get the attention of the general public into investing into their project. People who follow hypes and invest without researching and finding enough information about the project run at their own risk of losing their investment capital.  Sometimes I get surprised when people just jump into investing in projects due to hypes made by people who have already made their profits out of the project.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why blame people for your failure? on: May 01, 2019, 11:13:10 PM
I come across different posts and allegations that bounty hunters are dumpers and they make projects lose it value upon exchange listing. But from my experience with bounties most projects don't offer bounty allocation of more than 5% of the total token sold. So how will 5% dump have a huge effect on the remaining 95% price. And what about projects that don't have bounties but still dump hard on the exchange, is it bounty hunters too?
The bitter truth is that most projects dump because of the ridiculous number of bonuses the team have offered during the tokensale and pre-sale period. Imagine giving investors 70% bonus for their investments, they can decide to sell everything off and be happy with the 70% profit.

Everything here is very true about the cause of dumping but I think crypto projects with no specific purpose or aim in the crypto ecosystem are destine to fail in some time to come. Even if such crypto projects distribute just some small amount of its tokens to either investors or Bounty hunters, without a specific purpose in the crypto space the token or coin will be worthless and dumped.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm curious on: May 01, 2019, 11:05:31 PM
I suspect "THEYMOS"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=35 is satoshi nakamoto and the rest of the bitcointalk administrators are a part of his team..

Are any of these guys knows outside of this forum?? Like their Twitter account or facebook account??

It is highly possible THEYMOS may just be satoshi nakamoto  laughing
At us as we try to find out who satoshi really is

Interesting analogy but why should you worry yourself just to know the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. There is no need to try and find out his/her identity. All you need to do is to believe and support the ideology behind Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. You don't need Satoshi Nakamoto identity to understand the purpose behind the development of Bitcoin.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) platforms on: May 01, 2019, 10:57:20 PM
IEO will soon be the standard of fund raising in the industry and if care is not taking, it will damage the reputation of some exchange. The signal is already there for us to see with what happened to Bittrex recently. Most of this exchange are still doing the mistakes of the past and they are not doing much to do major checks about IEO projects on their platform
I think the reasons behind these mistakes made by the exchange platforms with regard to the  conducting of IEO projects have to do with the fact that these exchange platforms are just concern about the profit or money they will make out of the IEO without considering the safety of investor's funds or investment capital.  I think Exchange platforms should implement some safety measures to avoid damaging their reputations.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have learnt to cash out on: May 01, 2019, 10:46:23 PM
In this crypto ecosystem, its all about knowing and understanding the game of pump and dump. This will help you develop  good strategies and plans to help you minimize the chances of you losing your invested capital.  By having good strategies and plans, cashing out will be very easy and very profitable which will also reduce the risks available at any moment in time.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: May 01, 2019, 10:32:13 PM
There is nothing on this earth worth doing or any profitable venture which is not stressful and doesn't require too much time and crypto trading is no different from these kinda ventures. Real investors and real crypto traders understand this aspect of trading and they develop strategies and plans to meet and address this challenge associated with trading and also to maximize their level of profit.
