Official Statement regarding “IOU” LISK trading
As many of you may already know, YoBit (and other exchanges) have decided to sell LISK IOU Tokens before the mainnet of Lisk has even been launched. If you buy these IOU tokens, they will be swapped for real LISK once the mainnet is official launched.
Let us make this clear: YoBit, nor anyone else, has access to LISK at this moment!
As it is, they have used their exchange status to adopt a very early trading opportunity. In response to this, we want to make it clear for the crypto community that
the Lisk team does not endorse early IOU Token trading on the YoBit exchange or any other exchange. They have taken it upon themselves to set this up, and have never contacted the Lisk team regarding this. We advise the crypto community and other potential buyers to do your research before investing in these IOU Tokens.
The Lisk mainnet launch is scheduled to be released at the end of April, 2016.
Thank you for reading, and please, trade cautiously.
The Lisk Team What they are saying in real: If we turn on the main net, you will have your blink*blink* coins, not when an exchange is going to sell it to you. But, lets say it, we hadnt. buahahahaha.
Actually, we decided, because we were, lets say it, you know, to postpone the release, and we can and are going to postpone as long as we want buahahahah
We are not going to say you this time the date, when we start, we will just say, yeah, somewhere in the future, but you didnt forget, that we can postpone the start, when ever we want. buahahahahahah
Whatever, We dont like it, they are trading our coin, before we released it, and we think they could just take your money and run away if you buy it. But yeah it happened aaaand we will not give you your coins earlier or at the time we told to you, when you gave us your money buahahahahah
The Lisk Team

Be cautious with current YoBit prices as they probably won't reflect prices when the market opens on other major markets - price is high because they offered coins covered by their ICO investments so it's highly concentrated with limited supply and high demand.
Yes. that price is yobit price, learn to read everything. the coins they are selling are the ICO coin they have bought from the pre-sale. the prices are that high, because everyone is buying and no one selling. its market. I remember Aurora Coin went up to 12 Billion Dollar marketcap. what makes you think people are buying alot. its probably yobit using users funds to put up walls. they own all those coins so they effectively buying selling to themselves. see yobit history there volume has never been more than 50-70btc before ethereum agree. its fake volume, fake price. its saying nothing about Lisk real market value. its just useless. the plattform itself is real. you can try your luck. everyone claiming different is a scammer or get scammed. the only question is, how can WE use it to scamm people, because people want to get scammed. they call it fun. so enough real words. lets continue with pictures of nudity, drugs and talk about fast cars. that what members of this thread like (it seems), agree too?

Because people easily become crazy about instant 10 and more times profit. Also in crypto you have no guarantee that certain price will sustain. Hence many investors prefer to sell when they have opportunity to do so.
Right, but those who sold ETH at $1 are not happy at all. Don't make the same mistake with LISK! Selling with profit is no mistake when you bought microsoft shares at their ico or google shares or apple shares, you were a fool to sell it before it went x100. Keep the profits running, and cut off your loses. Then, even when you are trading 50 times with loses and just 10 times with profits, you win. And i agree marketcap of $600 Mill. or $6 a lisk is pretty high

Someone got a buy order of 6 btc at a rate of 480k satoshi so interrets is there
I assume that this, like maybe 50% or more, is a fake trade to raise the price. i think there are people out there who pay that price. its still cheap, it could go up 2 times more in a peak. Lisk could go up like Litecoin to $40/ BTC0.03

I got only 10 000 LISK. Do you think they will make me happy after launch?
How much does 500.000 dollar sounds? 1 house and a lambo Yes a lambo Lambo is 20th century tech. Try a Tesla and you'll never look back. do people know the history of Lambo? it started out making tractors for farmers. buy a Tesla. I seriously doubt that the one that buys a lambo with his first half million really deserves it... Buy a lambo if you only have half a million is really smart.. Think about the upkeep of such a machine. Probably going to cost you around 50k a year in taxes, insurance, gas and maintenance. Best to put it into your mortgage and buy a normal car (with a big engine, so it is still fun ) like a BMW 3 series. I'd like to see someone buy a lambo with their lisk profits and then come whining half a year later that they are broke and in debt because of all the costs. Then they had to sell it at a massive loss. if you invested BTC 1,8 in Lisk and cash out multiplied with 20, you cant even buy a tractor from lamborghini

really bad in my opinion,,,, and now changing date from 11th to end of the month ,, this is unveleiable with big capital leters
ya and yobit gets ALL the volume till then selling at 0.002 and above gonna make 100btc these lisk kids got swagger jacked and theres nothing they can do easy way to make project look bad man i can't believe i had faith in this.... run by children..letting yobit jack them WOW Ok, I' gonna write it one more time in big red letters: Yobit has NO Lisk at the moment!
They are trading with IOUs.
What you buy and sell are promises, that yobit will payout the amount of Lisk once it is released.NO SHIT, OR DID YOU JUST FIGURE IT OUT??! but how bad is it that they get the volume, and users get nothing? but told to wait how bad does it look that this lisk kids got swagger jacked by worse exchange out there? what major company would touch lisk now that it opened at YOBIT? fake tokens or not, bottom line is; LISK OPENED TRADING AT YOBIT where can I buy? Its looking actually very cheap. to whom can I send my 100 BTC? Someone giving me an address, please. I am in Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)

the game they are doing is really easy. They have bought lisk during ico, we can say 100 btc for example. They know they will have around 500k lisk. They have opened the market selling a lisk token made by yobit. When lisk will be released, the people that have bought those token will have real lisk in their wallet. The fact is that they're buying lisk @220k sat now. Many buy and sell are surely fake, but among the fake there are real people spending real btc. I don't know if define it spectacular or maleficent! But this is magic for sure!
do you think they claimed their passphrases and did the validation. maybe we should ask them :-)

Floating point is quite adequate for financial computations -- if the programmer understands how it works.
According to the IEEE floating-point standard, that is used by all major makers since the 1980s, a double-precision float can represent all integers up to 2^53 exactly, with no rounding. It turns out that 21 million BTC is just below 2^51 satoshis. That means it is safe to store BTC amounts as doubles, and even do simple math on them, if one stores them internally as satoshi amounts, rather than fractional BTC amounts.
(The only theory I know for why Satoshi limited the max issuance to 21 million BTC is that he knew this fact, and was aware that Excel, Awk, Python, Matlab, and many other languages and formats used IEEE doubles for all numbers, integer or real. Een though he did not use floating point in the bitcoin protocol, he must have felt necessary to accommodate those languages.)
Based on the above, should there be any attack vectors or exploit for altcoins like dogecoin, which went beyond 2^53, issuing in the hundreds of millions or billions? (Litecoin should be slightly below 2^53). If they are just cloning code that wasn't meant for their use case, perhaps vulnerabilities exist or arise at some point (?). cloning code is always a security issue for the system

The single biggest mistake was stating a real date as an estimate. If they had said "We are planning to release around mid-April", none of all this would've happened.
well if you sa mid-April, then its going to be somewhen in Mai. I would like to see some implementation of Lisk with Dapps and Bitcoin integration and then the start. First a development roadmap for the next year, would be professional.
