581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: webserver connecting to a VPS on: February 04, 2015, 05:36:57 PM
the webserver side only needs the rpc and vps ip stuff not the vps login info. type into google "can you see me" and look for a port testing tool to see if the port your using is open or not. this looks like an issue with the firewall on the vps

I did this with the
sudo netstat -plunt

it says netcoind is listening on 11310 and 11311 on tcp6 and 11310 on tcp

I will have the techs at the company where they are both purchased look into that, They said all the ports associated with this program are open and ready for communications tho.  I do know when you tlel it to use the rpc port it takes a few seconds for the error to pop up, BUT if you use the port listed in th conf file it takes about 30 to 60 seconds before the error pops up.

I will try the port testing tool now than you sir. I will say when we first bought the VPS it cme under and atrocious attack over 10,000 failed logings in less than 24 hours so they installed CSF Firewall. But they were supposed to have whitelisted my IP and the webserver IPS form that.

And here is the bug.

I will type it then you can follow it in the picture provided.

You bet ohn autobet, you lose you max the account out, it takes 2 times before the script stops betting because of insufficient funds, then you turn autobet back on. it then bets not at the set vlue in autobet but at the value where you manually bet for as many times as you lost.

So i was betting in autobet for 10 satoshi, with a X10 increase ona 1.2 payout. I lost 10 satoshi, autobet increased and I lost 100 satoshi, and the account maxed out and didnt have suffeicient funds to make the next bet, so I amnually placed a bet for MAX amount and won, I then clicked Autobet which is still st at 10 satoshi, but wait it bet 2 times again the max amount winning and then it reverts to the 10 satoshi you were supposed to be wagering.

I tested this game for 45 minutes all with the same result

Autobet maxes out the account, if it takes 3 bets to hit insufficient funds, and you bet manually, no matter what value you have in the autobet when you click auto it will bet what you had in the manual bnet that you won and it will do that for as many times as you lost.

This is a bug that took me a total of 14 seconds no notice, should never have gotten pst the developer (script writer) when testing his product for sale he should have seen this instantly. VERY VERY exploitable bug

I am sorry I see now where the titles on the posts have changed, HAHA

I have to talk with my business partner, we have a couple projects we are doing ATM and I am just sick of messing with this other games code. But yours has to work bro no bullshit. And it has to work with other coins to, I am not using bitcoin or litecoin, and easily editable I cant stand the colors.

I really wish i could just get the other site to work, but it just grrrrr is pissing me off. I never did find those points you made in that thread and that author has never replied to y emails either so i dont know whats up with him/her.

I will talk to my business partner tonight.

Yes they must be on one server.

This is the basic configuration of the script.

SO basically everyone selling these scripts took the free one with supposed loopholes, hypothetically closed said backdoors and as your script shows possibly made minor changes to colors, containers and images, without really working with the script itself and are now selling it.

hmmmmmm

I find it very weird that one would install the wallet on the same server as the game, does that not seem quite insecure to you?

If I would pay you 65 dollars for this script, that I feel is be just a knockoff of the original free script, I want the wallet on my VPS and the code and mysql database on my webserver.

The reason i say you took the free script is you didn't have your for sale until after you found the backdoor wallet issue on the other thread then soon after you found that loophole all the sudden BAAM your selling a script "of your own". to make a few very easy and minor changes to an open source code and sell it as your own, Is just ewwww. not right bro.
588  Economy / Digital goods / Re: DiceScript 2.0 Start your own dice site today 0.3 BTC. New version! on: February 03, 2015, 03:25:11 AM
OK in the installation of the script it can not call an IP address (my VPS) to communicate with the wallet even if you put in the RPC username, pass and port in, EVENTHO it has direct and unaltered access to the VPS? IS that what you are trying to say? So, because of how the script is coded, the mysqldatabase the wallet and the game script all MUST be on the same server?

589  Economy / Digital goods / Re: DiceScript 2.0 Start your own dice site today 0.3 BTC. New version! on: February 02, 2015, 09:06:09 PM
OK You got my attention HAHA

I have a webserver hosted and a VPS with the same company, I have my wallet installed on my VPS already up and running, can your script easily be installed on my webserver and use the wallet installed on my VPS and can it support other coins of choosing?

If so

How much is your script. And how much support do you offer with setting it up to be compatable on my VPS and webserver.

we would pay thru paypal

ALso who else has purchased your script who can leave their experiences here for us to see. Just curious

Ok lets try this again

I have a VPS already running the wallet I want

I want the dicegame script installed on my webserver hosting account.
(getting chmod 777 enabled for 2 files is not a problem my webserver has already done it for the code whose thread you found me in)

The webserver and the VPS are both purchased from the same company so my webserver and VPS have direct communication.

Can your script easily be installed on my webserver and use the wallet installed on my VPS and can it support other coins of choosing?

Can your script easily support any QTwallet coins of our choosing?

590  Economy / Digital goods / Re: DiceScript 2.0 Start your own dice site today 0.3 BTC. New version! on: February 02, 2015, 04:03:37 PM
The price you have:

- The installation script on the server (if you have a problem with it)

You mean the

git clone "Your https repository"

this takes 5 seconds

- Installation of the coin wallet

What if I told you I had a CentOS VPS Smiley

To running the script must be vps.

what do you mean?

Ok I can not fight this anymore how can i get this script to work with other wallets, like peercoin or dogeoin.

It keeps getting a cant connect to wallet error, i think because by default it is running the command

bitcoind getinfo and the other commands but by default using bitcoind

So where is this setting in the code so i can change it to my wallet I am using?

This script has backdoors. You use it at your own risk. I noticed only one backdoor, but surely there are more.

Invite you to buy my script Smiley

Thank you for the advertisement, at this time i am poor, do you know how i can make this script work with another coin. I saw your situation above and I think I made a very good resolution (I think) but I am not an expert so who knows. FYI I would never trust any script bought or freely repod from Git, I would check it all as best i could no matter what.

So unless you feel the need to give me the script with a promise of payment later, well then I cant buy it at this moment and I am stuck working thru this one Smiley

594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / webserver connecting to a VPS on: February 02, 2015, 05:59:00 AM
Hello I neeed some help, I have been working on this for a little over a week and just can not figure it out.

I have a wallet running on a VPS and I have a website on a webserver that needs to communicate with the wallet on the VPS.

No matter what i do the web server always gets an error "Cant connect to wallet. Make sure the info is correct and try again"

My wallet.conf

rpcuser=myusername
rpcpassword=my password
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcconnect=VPS IP
rpcconnect=Webserver IP
rpcconnect=Webserver secondary IP
rpcallowip=Webserver IP
rpcallowip=Webserver secondary IP
rpcallowip=VPS IP
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=11311
port=11310
addnode=63.246.129.56

Ok I said webserver secondary IP becasue the techs at the place where we bought the webserver and VPS (which is the same company) told me
"The actual connection ip will show up (secondary IP) not (Webserver IP) I think thats the error."
SO

Here is what the webserver is asking for.

Wallet info

Host:  Host
Login: Wallet User
Pass: Wallet Password
Port: port

What i have tried

Wallet info

Host:  VPS IP
Login: rpcusername from wallet.conf
Pass: rpcpassword from wallet.conf
Port: rpc port from wallet.conf

in addition I have also tried

Host:  VPS IP
Login: rpcusername from wallet.conf
Pass: rpcpassword from wallet.conf
Port: port from wallet.conf

My question Since I have to log into the VPS do i need to put something else in the VPS to allow my Webserver  to gain access without a username and pasword, like I need when logging into my VPS, the script asks for the wallet info but not the actual login info for the VPS.

I am new to all of this so please have patience with me.

ALso they installed CSF firewall on the VPS is there something I need to do to allow the webserver thru the CSF firewall?
What about in the Apache2.conf is there something I need to input there?

 Thank you for your help.

597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What makes someone a scammer? on: January 23, 2015, 05:26:18 PM
What makes someone a scammer? what do u think?Huh??

Usually greed, vengeance and the idolizing of money instead of anything worth while. People who make empty promises and deliver nothing they agree upon are scammers. they lead others to believe what they offer is valid in an attempt to run away with a small foprtune. scammers come in a variety of personas, Cex.io is scammers, hashprofit is also scammers. CEX.io is completely transparent to how they scam people out of thier bitcoins where as places like hashprofit is not.

Human nature is as it is, if I can get away with it I will do it. If I wont get in  trouble then its not wrong. that is the mindset of people like Ghash.io and hashprofit and the countless others out there.

http://www.nasdaq.com/article/recent-big-bitcoin-drop-looks-like-a-squeeze-that-could-be-a-huge-problem-cm434773

"Even when mining is completed and all Bitcoin are in circulation, at a $200 exchange rate, that represents a market cap of $4.2 billion. That is a big number, but to a forex market that turned over $5.3 trillion each day in 2013 it is a drop in the ocean. BTC will be just too easy to push around."

" regulation of some kind to protect what is still a very young market before the traders kill it."

So bitcoin has to increase in price many fold in order to enter forex markets and reach greater heights! but with a bitter pill regulations?

First of all that quote you posted only shows how stupid the person was about bitcoin. mining will never end. it cant, no mining means no transactions processed.

The lack of intelligence in traders in this forum astounds me. Do you have any idea about real currencies, and trading. Everu single currency market is manipulated. Every single one every single day. Its call forex bro, and the big banks are the dominant species there. it dont make a rats ass what it is where its at, if its on forex, it doesnt mater what the market cap is the banks are manipulating it. and guess what. price manipulation and collusion is illegal  HOWEVER they still do ti every day. And they are so arrogant about it they even have a website about gold price fixing. they sya its to hold the value overnight worldwide for miners, refiners, buyers and sellers to ahve asteady price, but in reality its all just a collusiojn and manipulation scheme for the big banks to make a lot of profit.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates: "Bitcoin Alone Won't Solve Global Payments Challenges" on: January 23, 2015, 05:05:48 PM
Sounds like a compliment to me.
To me it seems he likes the idea, tech, and believes it fills a need.  He just doesn't believe in btc due to the volatility and some other crap.
It was such a vague answer that it could be interpreted in countless ways.

Please tell us what part of "But bitcoin won’t be the dominant system." was vague?
