581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do due to the huge market collapse of the Bitcoin? on: March 10, 2020, 06:44:13 AM

Looks like OP intentionally post the lowest to be $6k to spread more panic. We're back to where we are in 2015 were the fud is almost everywhere.

What about the stock market, What will you say then? This is a general case of epidemic befallen the world and kits affecting majorly some financial institutions which Bitcoin is involved. Whatever affect the price of Bitcoin will definitely happened in double to the altcoins.

Stock Market though is very revealing, news on TV said its the start of the global recession already after trillions lost in their market. If all will take place, price will be dumped which is what they are saying about that bear market is yet not over.
582  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: March 09, 2020, 02:24:56 PM
And I thought its going to go up further because of the near halving but it drop, its even likely to go below 7K.  A trader would dump if they see prices continues to decline and people keeps spreading the panic. The Covid19 is also being used to make people dump which they think the world will be in serious recession, I guess they effectively did it.
583  Other / Meta / Re: Is satoshi that satoshi? on: March 09, 2020, 02:03:27 PM
I'm just thinking about my project at school I need a synthesis paper that talks about the history. Im gonna take this one as a topic and maybe I'll name it the "History of Bitcoin"..uhmm  Huh What do you think ?

Why not. The sourceforge would have been a great source of data for you. Its gone unfortunately, I wonder why.

But this forum part of a very important history of bitcoin. We might not even move to that epoch new forum Theymos built considering the how monumental it is that the creator himself had been here before he disappear.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SPYCE - Rise of Web 3.0 - The Biggest IEO of 2020 - IEO LIVE on PROBIT on: March 09, 2020, 03:20:32 AM

What is the usage of this SPYCE token inside your osiris browser and to the dapp store? Can we list our own dapp in your store?

Can you tell us how safe your browser is compare to others.
I have seen similar project before which had turned scam such as the ICA https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5166451.0

585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 08, 2020, 04:04:31 PM
I definitely agree mostly on these list, especially on no.7 that the spreadsheet isn't updated weekly, because we can feel that the bounty campaign is abandoned already when spreadsheet is not updated.
I don't care about this issue, as long as the project is still active and their telegram is regularly updated by the admin, everything will be fine. In the past I have joined a few of the same bounty, spreadsheets have not been updated until the end of the campaign. But the result was a successful project and the bounty hunters still got their money

The kind of project and the team also matters which the project you may have joined has real team and no scam accusation about them. All of what OP said though had to be taken seriously because you'd rather not join a campaign if these are not met by the campaign.

Its time we rally together and stop those who took advantage of the bounty hunters.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's break our boundaries with Bitcoin on: March 08, 2020, 03:29:13 PM

Releasing digital currency could be the best option for the affected countries since base on their finding banknotes spread the virus.  Thousands already died according to the news, this will be prevented with digital currencies because by then we will only be using phones. Or better yet BTC. This will be in our favor of course.  Smiley
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still staking Bitconnect tokens.. on: March 08, 2020, 02:53:22 PM

You can't be hopeful to sell the 50 BCC tokens you gain from staking your BCC.

I don't think this is useful anymore. No one would even patronize them as it was a very popular scam in this space. You cant just do stuffs like this and expect to be widely accepted it doesn't work that way. This space has a long way to go In weeding out fake projects.

On the other hand maybe. Ha If its blockchain stand still then perhaps they can still send it to their wallets to remind them this coin had been on the obvious scam in crypto yet it had victimized hundreds to thousands of people. Would this be a rare coin then and become colectibles?
588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: March 07, 2020, 04:50:03 PM

It all depend to you some people can easily learn to trade and some are more passionate to providing services and make money out of it. Both require skills. I'm more of freelancing which is why I work for someone even today while I trade only when the market is in good condition.

Those who write articles for companies in crypto are somehow freelancers, they help make this industry running too. Marketers in the forum are freelancers who in few months their contract will end and will soon find another job contract. Having a job makes them stable, if you find trading to be your stable job then good for you.
589  Economy / Services / Re: Are you running a cryptocurrency project? READ THIS on: March 07, 2020, 03:29:04 PM

Can we publish gambling articles in there?

It would help you get more contents if you give some details about the benefits of posting articles there like the PR, Alexa I guess and some of the things the concerns regarding SEO and so forth. Where do you promote your article site besides here in the forum?
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 07, 2020, 01:43:26 PM

There are coins that are found in DEX which are growing at some point without being paired to BTC. Tokens listed on DEX are often just paired to the platform coins like ETH, EOS and TRX. Their value grew because the platform's token also are growing. But generally, its always BTC that matters. Its probably good to invest to such coin that spikes even not paired to BTC, its like a stand alone coin.
591  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit Support on: March 07, 2020, 04:36:47 AM
Looks like they are working on something at https://yobit.live

Is this really yobit's support and not from impostors?

If this is true then its good. I can see the list of mods here.
I was trying to contact them since yesterday too for I lose my phone and has to reset my 2fa in them. I did create a ticket but weren't getting some reply yet. A mod did reply to me in the chat but today it wasn't resolved yet.

I hope this is true and they set up a full time support, people are having a hard time to contact their support in the past I've sent several tickets but it took them 3 weeks to answer when the answer is just a simple no or yes and need to  you have balance in your account if you want to participate in the chat widget, a real time support is badly needed.

Tested it  and looks fake. In fact it only works if you want to deposit but if your message is about withdrawal, the page doesn't interact. Don't try depositing to the address it gives you until the real yobit support verifies this yobit.live is theirs.

In the previous years those people who give out unsupported/unverified links gets red trust.

593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino Affiliates - starting point on: March 04, 2020, 04:12:43 PM

True. The users who find themselves visiting the website has to find something worthwhile at least that will make them register.  Its important that they aren't just prompt with a CPA form and sign all the information they have. Users today aren't even lured to signup for free spin.

But how you know the company have internal marketing capabilities when you are actually hired to do whatever you can to market them?
594  Economy / Economics / Re: Unfair aspects of KYC. But KYP is here on: March 04, 2020, 03:39:54 PM

There is no escape to KYC anymore even if you have the KYP, our data are compromise already the moment you submit it to any exchange you have registered. At some point you will have to use an exchange or cash out your coins and banks are asking it. Its here to stay even for the DEX that we thought aren't going to ask KYC. Not all though so there's a little hope to stay anon.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Ripple fork, fake or real? on: March 03, 2020, 02:24:24 PM
Maybe they just used their name.Even you can create any tokens or coins with any names, that doesn't matter. As you can see their many tokens and coin which names start with bitcoin or ends with bitcoins. All that coins are not forked. They just used bitcoin name for popularity.I think XRDC just used ripple for popularity. And you can't do anything against them. Actually Name doesn't matter, If they are legit they will be success or if they are fake then they will fail for sure.

They actually want people to picture XRP as a bad coin not for it being popular. They do have a good point about it though, its true XRP is centralize to its core we all know the XRP team just unlocked their coins and now it would take years and years before we can even see its price go up because of it.

This team presented themselves like the protagonist savior but people will actually chose XRP still than this new XRDC due to most projects today are scam specially if the team is anonymous.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question about halving on: March 03, 2020, 02:14:32 PM
Considering that miners will wornout their best mining machines to acquire these coins, they will not just give away their coins for shitcoin price. There are however coins that can be mined that are worthless but this could be because there is nothing special to the coin, no features that will attract miners and investors to it. We've seen them before where they just fork LTC with nothing new added to it.
597  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: March 03, 2020, 01:59:31 PM

It would be easy for the adoption to happen if all the team will work together and partner up. I think this will soon be possible once teams realizes they need the community of the other coin to grow bigger.  All of the coins, though they have different technology behind their projects can be united for the adoption.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coin for Every Currency on: March 02, 2020, 01:01:30 PM
Definitely there are a lot of possibilities for government to go for their own stablecoin in the near future. Because, I guess every government wants to be part of cryptocurrency industry and with such stablecoins it will be easier for them to enter into our crypto space.

We can expect governments to issue the crypto format of their local fiat. It means every government may prefer to have their currency on blockchain. All I can guess is, there will be no need of going for some new crypto or all new cryptocurrencies related things  for having a stablecoin, they may simply make their fiat into blockchain. This way, your view of stablecoin for every country may come into live.
Yes. When governments are rushing for adopting cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies, what you have mentioned must be the most appropriate way for them to easily enter into this market. Government may legalize crypto currencies or may not but definitely they will be preferring to how their own stablecoin which could be their already existing fiats.

I just wonder what are the advantages we will be enjoying by having our local fiat on blockchain. I mean to say what are the privacy issues may rise up due to this and also what will be the exact consequence of such stablecoins by government is going to provide will be my actual curiosity but only time will answer all these.

Well the value of stablecoin of each country will still have its ups and down comparing it to the digital currency of other countries just as it is today when we look at forex market. There is however changes though such as the central banks can be traced if they are creating more stablecoins. Transparency is there and we know how much they created since its in the blockchain.

Transparency I guess is one advantage. Paperbills gets lost and I think this is one of the reason why China planned their digital currency too.

599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: March 02, 2020, 12:05:11 PM

Relictum bounty campaign which OP had joined is a campaign that will run for more than 2 months, that is certainly way too long but to be honest I can see the team is working for this project. We aren't sure yet if its going to be worth yet.  The crypto market in general is looking good though so maybe when Relictum is finally matured, its price will also be worth.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Ripple fork, fake or real? on: March 01, 2020, 04:27:12 PM
Very suspicious project because they don't provide details who they are, I would understand if its a privacy coin but its not. They didn't promise an exchange listing nor any partnership to a crypto project in the past.  If they are not answering questions in the telegram then, the team is not serious in this promotion.

I just quote some FAQ from them.

Code:
Why did you decide to Fork Ripple?

We believe that the idea of Ripple is great, but the execution is flawed. The management has too much control over the supply of coins. The CEO keeps dumping XRP in the market for personal enrichment. This led to a 90% drop in value in the past couple of years. We want to move away from this unsustainable model and make Ripple decentralized.

Is it a hard fork?

No. Ripple isn't a mineable coin, so technically it can't have hard forks. We call our coin a fork because it's based on XRP but also different in terms of the consensus, coin issuance, and control over supply.
