^  That's no joke.  No wonder some sites take a long time before they pay out some people who hit a jackpot.  They were prolly still trying make the money to pay out.  Lol.

Yes, this is why most TOS of new casinos have withdrawal caps Cheesy If someone hits a 200k jackpot, he's going to be dragging it over a couple months until fully withdrawn.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not become the world currency. on: December 06, 2022, 12:47:10 PM
So I don't think Bitcoin is going to become a fiat currency.

I don't think that anyone questioned that anywhere, or am I wrong?

The point of crypto as a whole is to be outside of the gov regulated bubble, not to become one.
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Valve's Steam Deck as a Mining Machine? on: December 06, 2022, 11:23:30 AM
Op I will like to know more about the information you gathered about mining on a Xbox series x because I have one and I got tired of it, now I play games on PC, I know that the series x have a very good GPU but I can't find any information about using it for crypto mining.

For now it's mostly speculation, here and there you have a thread popping out like this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/po2uzk/i_created_an_opensource_ethereum_miner_for_xbox/

But I'm still researching and will link you too it soon Smiley

In general though, all the current gen consoles are capable of doing it, it's just a question on how much and how long they can sustain it.

I'll keep you posted!

online casinos do not have physical offices, so at least in this part they do not spend money, because to build a physical office costs money and not little money because it will depend on the location of the office and no one would build an office in a place with few people, everyone want to be in the city, where there are many people, about the team, without a doubt this is a headache, because the ideal is to always choose people from the real world that the person knows, and not choose random people from the internet

This is not true, licensed casinos need to have a registered office, some of them even require more than one.

MGA licenses as one example, where you have to have an office in Malta.
Curacao license as the second example, where you have to have it in Curacao.

Then, if you want to attract talent, you can't have just one office on a remote island, you need it somewhere where the talent is.

It's another story if it's an unlicensed casino, then it's rouge territory.

Whether it is competitive or not, gamblers are more interested in having a better experience rather than bonuses that has lots of restrictions do that gamblers or gamers will not have the opportunity to make a good fortune out of the bonus system. Bonus should not have a strict rules that will make our experience more difficult to make some profits.

The bonus is what makes up the experience, no? I think the bonus structure is an essential part, especially if you're a VIP.

I'm not talking about free no deposit bonuses that have a gazillion times wagering requirements.
586  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Nezakonito naplacivanje poreza na konverziju Bitcoina u RH on: December 06, 2022, 09:26:34 AM

587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real most rewarding Crypto Casino? on: December 06, 2022, 09:20:35 AM
Taking gambling as source of income depends on individual and if you don't see it as a major source of income, so I can tell you that I have many friends that depends on gambling to make a living. It all depends on the place you come from if they don't take gambling as serious as you think. So many friends do not have a job of there own so they see gambling as a big survival slot for them to make a living and pat bills and is working for them.

Gambling should never become the major source of income, it's just not healthy. It can be a hobby or an entertainment factor, but depending solely on gambling as an only source of income is not that sustainable and I'm not sure how good it is for your mental health.

I know a few professional poker players that had made a proper career out of it, but I think that there's a difference between a poker player and a slots player.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 06, 2022, 09:15:10 AM
Unfortunately there is no other option that makes any sense for the gamblers, as much as we would like for this to not be the case it is not possible anymore, the gambling industry is huge and the governments cannot afford to ignore it anymore, especially now that they need all the money they can get due to the difficult economic circumstances they are facing, now some gamblers may try their luck with unlicensed casinos but that decision has its own fair share of problems.

That's so true, but try to tell that to Sweden and Poland, they are still a hard nut to crack, they just don't want to open up for this industry :/ Maybe once this generation of politicians exchange.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much initial startup to Start Cryptocurrency Casino? on: December 06, 2022, 09:07:19 AM
I see that everyone is throwing the 100k amount as "enough" and that's not true. That's barely enough to cover your bankroll for the VIP players, let alone jackpots.

If you're planning on opening a legit, licensed casino, with some caps on winnings and withdrawals, then you're probably looking at a minimum of 1 mil, with 3 mil being ideal.

Some of the service platforms that you'll employ will cost money + a percentage of your revenue. Other platforms will ask for a fixed monthly fee, look at Swiss Soft for the platform, Affilka for the Affiliate management, Coinspaid as a payments provider and so on.

You'll be looking at a minimum of 10 people employed for three years, which can get expensive within the iGaming sphere.

Then you have the affiliate deals, which can eat you up within the first six months.

So, the biggest expenses that I would say are (ranked)
#1. Bankroll funds (for payouts, jackpots, VIP players etc)
#2. Marketing costs (SEO, Affiliates, Promotions)
#3. Platform cost (fixed + rev share deals)
#4. Employment (depends how much people you have)

590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto would you like to see more in Online Casinos? on: December 05, 2022, 03:54:58 PM
Brain dead shills of every new token will attempt to get their tokens added to casinos hoping that would drive the price, but this in reality is a false dream that they have.

Only if the casinos give some extra benefits on using a newly added coin, it would good for the regulars, otherwise they rarely bother.

That's the thing though, it's not the casinos who have the full control over it - it's the payments provider. I'm not sure which payments provider Stake has, I see that they have Tron, but I wanted to register with them for ages so will test it out this week.

Take a look at Coinfy, BitPay or other services, they are the ones regulating what a casino can offer. Then it's up to the casino to pick out the ones they want and can afford.

591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto would you like to see more in Online Casinos? on: December 05, 2022, 03:48:57 PM
Why asking, you want to start a casino or other gambling services?

The ones with high marketcap and having the highest utilities like bitcoin, ether, USDT and litecoin.  With these coins, you can choose the ones with faster transaction, low fee and the ones with the highest utilities.

There are gambling sites that added more coins like tron, doge and many other.

I'm already within the industry, have been since the start of crypto gambling, but in the past few years a lot of users complained about "not offering exotic coins", which is exactly why I researched the market found out WINk and Wagerr, but overall I just have the feeling that people are complaining because they can complain, in the end the most popular coins will always be the most used.

FUN is only being supported by the large community of the Freebitco.in website as without this community I think right now with only two casinos they are the main coin they would very well be dead for sure as no motivation by people to pick up that token to gamble with.

I genuinely didn't know this. It explains a lot about the brand then Cheesy
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Valve's Steam Deck as a Mining Machine? on: December 05, 2022, 03:41:35 PM
The default OS is based on Arch Linux and Valve doesn't perform any serious system lock, so i expect you just need to launch terminal and download/run needed mining software.

Which is what I hoped some of the users here already tested Cheesy But I'll try to do it myself then and test it out, I'm just curious and would like to rank them all per performance.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Which Crypto would you like to see more in Online Casinos? on: December 05, 2022, 12:50:49 PM
I was on a crypto convention some years ago and met the guy behind the FUN token, he sold me this really good story on how they will revolutionize the casino industry once they launch fully. Now, god knows how many year later, I can still see them around, but instead of a "revolution" or "disruption", they are mostly just hovering around the industry.

Now, I'm aware that licensed casinos are tied to payment providers, and then they mostly use whichever currency that payment provider offers, but I personally would still love to see some exotic coins here and there. Something like WINk or Wagerr.

So, I wanted to ask the community in which coins would make the most sense to get implemented, which ones would you like to see more off?
594  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Grijači koji rudare bitcoine on: December 05, 2022, 12:38:28 PM
Sad si me sjetio Linusa kad je radio onaj video oko grijanja: https://youtu.be/1WLIm4XLPAE

Ali da, vjerojatno je ovo sve još neki wishful thinking.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Valve's Steam Deck as a Mining Machine? on: December 05, 2022, 09:50:08 AM
Hey guys,

I'm trying to make an article that would rank all the current gen consoles and their mining capabilities, this is just for a random assignment that I'm doing, I'm not serious about mining on consoles Cheesy

I found enough info on the PS5 and Xbox Series XIS, but I'm having trouble getting any on Valve's Steam Deck.

This is the console I'm talking about: https://store.steampowered.com/steamdeck

It is a Zen 2 + RDNA 2 setup on Linux, and it can be easily modified.

In terms of the software and hardware, what would need to be modified and what could one expect?

p.s. I'm still new to the forum so I hope I placed this in the right sub-category.
596  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: December 05, 2022, 09:40:26 AM
Maybe you could add some games which are an exact mirror copy of the original games but these will only be "practice" or "tutorial" games. That way newbies would be able to understand how the game works and develop their strategies and skills without worrying about losing real money?

You mean like demo games that some fiat brands have? Yeah I was wondering why this isn't the norm with crypto casinos. Most fiat brands have them and you can play the demo version without even registering, you just open it up and spin the slots for a few minutes. I remember that CasinoEuro did a whole review series on YouTube by only using demo games: https://www.youtube.com/@casinoeurochannel

598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 05, 2022, 08:28:20 AM
Perhaps it would be good to have a single, super secure platform and potentially using some sort of Blockchain/nft solution to store documents - that could be used to validate whether someone has genuine documents. Maybe where different sources could give ratings, maybe whether certain ratings might hold extra weight (document was verified in-person). But to keep the anonymity side it would have to be somehow decentralised or in a jurisdiction that would not force documents to be disclosed.

So, same like there are payment providers like CoinsPaid, that generate the address and sort out the payments between the casino and the user, you think that it would be smart to have a "KYC provider" that would be a third-party body that would KYC everyone, and then regardless of the casino you're playing, it would state that you're KYC-ed?

It sounds interesting, but then we would again end up with the same question "when to KYC", just on the KYC providers side.
599  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Grijači koji rudare bitcoine on: December 05, 2022, 08:21:29 AM

600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 02, 2022, 02:32:43 PM
I'm actually not sure how much is what they consider highroller where they mandate to submit KYC? $50K?

From the research that I did most of them range between 1 BTC and 3 BTC, it depends on the casino. Some claim even 4, but those weren't licensed to begin with, so I have no clue.
