It only takes a dedicated mind and a strong mindset to go through the learning process of bitcoin and also be patient enough to learn as people only show interest in what they will make fast money from. When you tell them how people perform certain tasks to make money here they will be amazed and be eager to join but they are not patient enough to learn and gradually grow in the forum and after a while they suddenly lose interest and forget about the forum that’s why only few dedicated minds survive here.

I don’t see any reason why I should go through the stress of putting someone through and after a while they will quit because they can’t survive the forum, they are only focused on making money without wanting to learn anything, they can’t survive the forum without knowledge and it’s easy as that.

We all went through the same thing as a newbie but how fast you grow depends on how strong you are and how dedicated you are. Most of realized at an early stage that giving up is not an option so despite all the criticism we stood firm and remained focused on learning and that was how we were able to grow here. If newbies can have same mindset and determination they can also achieve their goal without giving up.

What is being discussed concerns Chelsea's defeat against Middlesbrough in the EFL Semifinal Leg 1. 1-0 is a very small score and it is likely that Chelsea will get back more than 2 goals in the 2nd leg.
Chelsea are not bad, but I think they have been inconsistent this season in maintaining their best form.
Middlesbrough is not a strong opponent for Chelsea. Yesterday's 1-0 defeat was due to luck favoring Middlesbrough.

I also don’t see it much as a problem especially considering that Chelsea will be playing at home, the score line is really not much and with just a goal everything will bee leveled. Middlesbrough will come so prepared with the intention of winning and defending their goal and Chelsea will come out fully prepared as well because it would be a slap on their face if they get Eliminated by Middlesbrough after coming this far. Chelsea might be inconsistent but they should be able to win them after two legs, they had a lot of chances to score but failed to utilize the chances.

However, I think Real Madrid can also focus on their younger player and ignore Mbappe forever.

Yep. Talking about the potential of Madrid's young players makes more sense than spending €1 billion just on Mbappe.
And I think Madrid is now focused on regeneration. They have no interest in creating Galacticos Volume III and the like.
Currently, 11 young players will replace Luka Modric's generation.
Arda Guler, Rodriguez, Bellingham, Camavinga, Vinni, Rodrygo, and Brahim Diaz are the Next dream team and  Madrid's future projects.

The so called young players you all talking about are no where near Mbappe standards and Real Madrid president knows this. It is good to invest in young players but Mbappe is world class player on his own and the impact he will have on the team both on and off the pitch will be huge. Football is also business and business wise Mbappe will be more productive than every other youngster mentioned above.

They also have the option to go for the two, invest in both the promising youngsters and Mbappe as well which will put them in a level far above everyone else. Spending on Mbappe is really worth it because we have seen how he has been performing since the beginning of his career, he is a top talented player with high goal sense which is the kind of player Real Madrid really wants.

Timo Werner has officially been loaned to Tottenham until the end of this season from RB Leipzig. If he is able to give his best for the club, of course Tottenham will make him permanent and he will be Tottenham Hotspur's main squad to be used as a striker to replace Harry Kane. But I'm not sure whether he can be used the right choice for Tottenham, if you look at the statistical data, this player actually had a good performance when playing with his original club Lepzig but played so-so when he was with Chelsea but he is very good at providing passes and I think if the coach can provide a suitable strategy I think this player can return to its best performance.

Good signing for Tottenham in my opinion, i think he will suit their style of play perfectly, though i am not so sure about the goals but i am certain if Timo Werner is not under any kind of pressure like he was at Chelsea he will definitely score goals. Chelsea is a very demanding club and they were not patient enough for Werner that was why he couldn’t succeed at the club but his contributions to the club can not be overlooked despite not scoring much goals for them.

I have no doubt Werner will storm the premier league and he will score goals for Tottenham and contribute a lot for them and the coach will bring out the best in him just as he has done with other players.

Quote
Yes, the purchase is not too expensive considering his potential is decreasing from year to year, but if he returns to his best performance, I think Leipzig will increase the price for this player so that Leipzig can reap bigger profits considering that Premier League clubs have bigger finances but we'll see what Timo Werner is like at Tottenham, whether he deserves to play in the Premier League, where the competition is tougher than the Bundesliga.

I have no doubt that Tottenham will retain him and sign him permanently no matter the amount he costs, he has been depreciating in recent years so he wouldn’t cost much more than Tottenham can afford. The premier league is not a new league to Werner and he will not find it difficult to adapt to the league because he has gone through it before in his Chelsea days that’s why i have more hope for him to succeed at Tottenham.

Before joining this forum i was thinking that Bitcoin is only limited to trading and investment  but  this forum has actually exposed my mind that Bitcoin is broad and covers a wider scope unlike my initial perception.
Bitcoin has a wide scope and it’s only when you are into it or have shown interest in it and started learning about it that you will begin to understand and see how wide it is. Most people who don’t understand anything about bitcoin think it is just buying, trading and holding bitcoin but the truth is when you have deep knowledge about bitcoin that is when you will enjoy its benefits and usage.

This forum is the ideal place to learn about bitcoin and there are lots or experts and members you are always willing to help others learn about bitcoin, they have dedicated their time to teaching others how to understand and use bitcoin properly and all this knowledge are being shared for free. Joining this forum is have solved your problem of learning halfway so the rest is left to you, how dedicated you are and how you make use of the knowledge here will determine how much knowledge you will acquire here.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoin journey has started again on: January 10, 2024, 05:24:45 AM
This might seems small amount to start with but if you do this consistently every week, by this time next year you should have about 0.183 Bitcoin which is around $5k using today's price. I will encourage you to keep it up because you are buying at the right time.
With the current high fees I think my signature campaign rewards will be stuck on my wallet and makes me wait for months or even years and I think this serves as an investment for me because I have no choice. 😅 Currently, I got .0022865BTC and weekly rewards keeps on coming, though just a small amount but still better than nothing. 😁
This is DCA strategy of it’s own even though it wasn’t your plan initially but saving up your weekly signature earnings will accumulate you enough bitcoin before you realize it which will be an investment for you. Not everyone is able to do this but i hope now that the mempool is no more congested and now that transaction fees is not high anymore you would still stick to holding your weekly earnings in your wallet without touching them for months or years as you have intended.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 09, 2024, 07:12:15 PM
Henderson is not a striker so you don't expect much goals from him, he is still new in the Saudi pro league, not like he is still young, he is in his 30s that's means there will be a decline in his performances , and it comes down to the form of the club, his team have not had the best of games lately and Hendo can not be blamed alone , his teammates should share in the blame too, buts his statistics so far might not be impressive but it's a long season let's see what happens in the coming weeks.
When he left Liverpool he was already seen as a finished player and at his age I wouldn’t be surprised if he keeps declining because not everyone is capable of playing for a long time like Cristiano Ronaldo and still be at their best. Jordan Henderson is already old so it is normal for him to be underperforming at 30+ years and it is not his fault so he shouldn’t be blamed for the team’s performance as everyone deserves the blame. Everyone who joins the Saudi league at late age joins just to earn for a while before retirement but since CR7 joins the league the Saudi league standard has elevated and demands more from players than before. The league is more competitive than ever and it is not more a league for potential retiree anymore.

I did not realize that Inter Miami and Al-Nassr has a game against each other, that is a news to me. Obviously they did it for maybe a one last "messi vs ronaldo" situation, and I think that is a nice thing. However, this really doesn't feel like it counts, neither the players are that good anymore, nor the teams are good neither, it is not going to be fair, no matter which one wins, it is going to be a boring game without a doubt.
We all miss the Messi/Ronaldo rivalry and it will interesting to witness this rivalry one more time before they both retire. This match will be interesting as no team would want their Goat to lose to the other. I think Al Nassr are the favorites to win as they are having a better season than Inter Miami and they have more foreign players than them which will be an added advantage to Al Nassr.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 09, 2024, 07:24:32 AM
I this agree with the post above me, I don't think arsenal tried to win that game, I watch the match and first half both teams played very poorly, the chances Arsenal had were never a serious threat to Liverpool defense in any way. I think it was generally a boring match and both teams did not give it their all, Liverpool had some luck to end up winners in the end.
This agree or disagree? Huh

Arsenal must try to win the match, it shouldn't be debated.  Grin
If the players played poorly, it doesn't mean they have no intention to win the game/match. Arsenal players couldn't make a very serious threat, it is probably caused by the strong defense of Liverpool. Liverpool defenders tried to give no chance for Arsenal players to get good opportunities in scoring goals. We must appreciate what have done by Liverpool defenders, they were able to make Arsenal attackers feel frustrated.

The own goal was a lucky goal. But the second goal was a goal made by their efforts. You can't claim Liverpool won the game because of the luck factor.  Wink

I think he meant disagree.

Arsenal tried their best to win the match but their best was simply not enough to penetrate Liverpool’s defense. Arsenal wanted to win because i could see the zeal in them to score but their attack was not as sharp as they used to be, it seems like Saka has lost his confidence and everything seems not to be going his way, without Saka's magic i can say Arsenal will be nowhere to be found because Matinelli can hardly create something for the club and their attack will be weak without any threat.

Liverpool defense was rock solid even without Van Djik, Konate was outstanding and didn’t give any room for Arsenal to penetrate them. I think overall Liverpool was more threatening with the counter attacking style and that was what led them into winning the match.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 08, 2024, 10:15:44 PM
I Will say that I trust Xabi Alonso more than any other coach in the Bundesliga right now. And that is something a lot of other people will also say in my opinion. Because even in a short period of time, he has been able to prove that he is not just another coach, he is actually far above average and he has the tactics to make things work. He also has an idea of how to make the best out of all the players that he has in the squad. The team that he has right now is definitely not world class. But he is making it work. And for that, he should get all the credit that he is getting right now. And that inherently gives him an advantage, even if it is just a psychological one.
He really has the best stat so far this season as a coach and the way he has transformed the team really amazes me, he has the best tactics and  playing style in the league, the way they play makes them stand out among other teams. I just hope he doesn’t drop form and so he doesn’t waste the money to standout as a team. We have seen many coaches come this way, started this way but couldn’t end the year this way. They do come this way and couldn’t win this year i just hope they they can keep up the performance and probably win more matches, i just hope everything goes well.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: January 08, 2024, 07:53:53 PM
We saw some struggles in Aston Villa's performance in the last a couple of games they played in the Premier League. I mean especially the last three games here. They had too much difficulty against Sheffield and they could have even lost to them home. After that they were able to do nothing against Manchester United to make a comeback from 0-2 to 3-2. We are talking about a bad Manchester United this season in the end.

Right after these games they won against Burnley finally but even it was thanks to a winner came in the last minutes.  Sad  Of course we can't see them winning all the time but I would like to see Emery's team staying in top 4 race until the end of the season. They have made a huge effort until now.

Lots of people talk about them as title contenders but I don’t see it. It would be an incredible achievement for them to get CL football for next season so that should be their target.

I know a lot of Aston Villa fans in RL so I hope they get top 4, I think they can do it.
Same thing i told someone recently who claimed Aston Villa can surprise us all and repeat what Leicester City did in 2016 when they lift the trophy, I don’t think Aston Villa can pull it off this season considering how they lose some matches. I just know they can make the top 4 and qualify for the champions league just as Newcastle did but it will be difficult for them to win the league.

My prediction is that they will drop to 4th position as the league is about to end because the Premier league is getting more interesting when the league draws to the end and towards the end I don’t think they will still be at their best performance. There is still a long way to go as the league is still a long way away from the end.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 08, 2024, 09:50:24 AM
Agree. He is already 38 years old, it is no longer an ideal age for a footballer. Yes, in this age, many footballers already retire from their career. Meanwhile Ronaldo still has a good ambition to be the best player in SPL and he still contributed well for Al Nassr. Scoring above 50 goals is something extraordinary for a 38 years old player. So, he actually already did good work for Al Nassr.

That’s the mentality of a sports person and it is what i like about him, his physical fitness is what is giving him the physical strength and ability to keep playing till this age. At this age most players would have retired for almost 3-5 years ago, some players retire at 33 or 30 but what Ronaldo has done is not an easy thing and despite that he was able to emerge as the highest goal scorer of the year ahead of young Haaland and Mbappe.

Ronaldo have been playing an important role for Al Nassr since joining them both on annd off the pitch, since joining they have had a massive increase in social media followers and engagement, an additional increase of almost 20m followers on instagram and also he have scored more goals than any other player since joining them and have made them aa title contender in SPL this season. All this at the age of 38, Al Nassr are really lucky to have him.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: January 08, 2024, 07:59:53 AM
Recently I was around a physical bet shop close to my area and I observed a man who was shabbily dressed walking in the gambling house. I got into the place to observe what his intentions were. He walked straight to the gaming attendant, placed his bets in a highly coordinated manner and quietly walked out of the physical gambling house. From the way he was well organized, you will never know that he was mentally unsound apart from his dirty clothes and unkept hair and beard.
People’s mental illness can be of different degrees some people might be mentally unstable but they still have some sense in them and can act normally in most cases without anyone noticing they are mentally unstable. This could be the case of this person, he might be unstable but he could still have some sense in him and maybe why he is able to act normally when he wants to gamble.

When I inquired from the attendant, she said he was a regular customer and that he usually raised money for gambling through the manual jobs he does around the area. She also told me that he has never misbehaved and acted violently in the gambling house so she was comfortable with him.
Mentally unstable person who is able to work to raise money to gamble is not too affected with the illness and shouldn’t be a problem to the casino so it’s ok to allow him to gamble because he also has equal rights as a human but I advise they keep a close eyes on him just incase his case worsens. Anyone with critical mental issues shouldn’t be allowed to gamble to avoid issues.

Barcelona finally is making a final decision about their player, João Félix.
João Félix joined Barcelona during the summer but he is playing there on loan and he should leave the team when the loan is over, But it seems Barcelona is now interested it having this player permanently, they asked to have a negotiation with Atletico Madrid about this palyer.

Will be a smart move for Barcelona if the negotiation goes through smoothly but I doubt if it would be as easy as we thought. Barcelona is broke and Atletico Madrid wants to cash out big from the sale of Felix so I doubt if things will go easily, signing Felix permanently will be a good thing for Barcelona because he is a very talented player with lots of qualities aand he has the potential to grow into one of the best players in the team.

He showed his qualities at Chelsea too but Chelsea was not interested in keeping him permanently so they let him go despite being their best player last season. I just hope Barcelona succeeds in keeping him because he doesn’t enjoy the style of play at Atletico Madrid and it’s better to play where there is peace.

Pep thinks that the players he signed to replace these players he let go can perform to their standard or above their standards, but they couldn't, and the team is becoming unbalance if one or two players get injured especially Rodri. I think things will become better since their main man KDB is back from injury and will soon start playing with the rest of his team mates.
It takes time to fully adapt to a new club and i am sure Pep knows that and didn’t expect too much from them this season. They are all quality players and with time they will transform into something else and will we see their true potential. Most players that left also joined and improved gradually until they become man enough, the team is missing them but with time they will learn to adapt without them. KDB is an important player for the team, Halland as well is an important player and without them they don’t seem too dominant as they used to be.
597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safety first before accumulation, a lesson I learnt the hard way on: January 07, 2024, 08:46:43 PM
I was able to remember how I have lost some crypto assets to scammers because of my crypto wallet private keys revealing one way or the other, I still remember losing $300 worth of Bitcoin in 2018 and also something similar happened in 2020 and even 2022.

Repeating a mistake doesn’t make it a mistake again rather i see it as being careless, how would the same mistake keep repeating itself multiple times? If it does then you are just being careless and one would think maybe you derive joy from losing money and that’s why keep losing money almost every year. $300 is a huge amount that would make a person feel bad when lost and then you easily amend your ways and prevent further loss.

Every small $$$ was so damn important to me that I only care about buying Bitcoin, i ignored going for a hardware wallet, until I lost $2000 using a software wallet, this was so painful that I got mad and took out some money to purchase my first Hardware wallet, something that I should have bought right from the start.

That’s where people usually get it wrong, safety first before anything else but when money is involved they get blinded by it and forget everything else. The crypto world is full of scammers and they are always waiting for the slightest mistake and opportunity to scam people. Before investing choosing the best wallet and how to secure and store your private keys should be the first priority because when your assets are stolen there will nothing else to protect.

- Timo werner has already reached an agreement to join in totenham. The idea of him returning to the premier league after his tenure at Leipzig is something that sounds very promising.

I like the sound of that and Timo werner joining the premier league again is a good move for him despite he failed at Chelsea. Werner played an important role in Chelsea despite missing a lot of chances, he was the key to the attack but most people failed to notice that and i am sure he was missed when he left. Joining Tottenham is a good move, he will easily adapt to the style of play because he good with counters and the pressure at Tottenham will be less compared to Chelsea. With no pressure I believe he would play free minded and show us what he is capable of doing and score more goals this time. I believe it is time for him to redeem himself and show the premier league fans how good he is.

- There is a growing consideration within Manchester United to potentially trade Wan Bissaka for Michael Olise. Nevertheless, it is reasonable to assume that Palace might not find this offer favorable since Olise has played a highly significant role in the club.
Olise is a player Crystal Palace would not let go easily especially now that he more matured and they have received an offer from Chelsea and Manchester City last summer, they would want a direct deal where they would ask for money rather than a swap deal like this. It will never be possible except if Manchester United will offer them Wan Bissaka and additional amount of money which i still think they wouldn’t consider the offer. Olise is a key player in the team andd they can only let him go if a team can pay the amount the amount they charge.

- Connor gallagher has been approaching by totenham. The north london was interesting to buy him from chelsea. It may be a big lose for chelsea to sell him but since the club has so many midfielder and this can be a good decision too.
Gallagher have played an important role for Chelsea this season he is the most hardworking player in the squad and i think he has earned himself a spot in the team. If Chelsea should let him go it would be a huge loss for them but it is just as you said they have spent so much money on Midfielders and with him around there will be surplus in the midfield and no one would want to spend money on a player without using them.

It would be best if he joins a team where he would be valued and have more playing time. Tottenham is a good team and it will be easy for  him to adapt there.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 07, 2024, 11:53:55 AM
Chelsea played a very good game; they dominated the match completely, they proved to be the best team in the match, their players showed quality, and they won the match at the end, which is exactly as expected by so many people, including Chelsea fans, because it will not be good if Chelsea is eliminated in the FA Cup. Chelsea needs to look serious in the FA Cup; they need to win the FA Cup to do the same thing as Manchester United did last season so that their fans will have relief from all the players they signed for huge amounts of money, so that the team management will feel relief and the team will be able to sign more players by avoiding financial fair play.
You are right, its been a while Chelsea won a trophy i think the last time they won a trophy was with Tomas Tuchel in 2021 when they won the Champions League, Super cup and the Club world cup. Ever since they have have been struggling to compete as a relevant team. I believe they only have two cups to challenge for which is the FA cup and the EFL cup and it will be nice for the players, entire team management and the fans to win another trophy after a long time.

Chelsea played well yesterday and were able to score many goals but they couldn’t create much chances in the first half and barely had a shot on target but everything changed in the second half and i was surprised they were able to win with 4 goals margin. They should keep up the momentum and take the winning mentality in to the premier league and challenge for the top 4.

Yes, Chelsea won the match with a landslide victory against a very weak team but yet struggled in the first half. If Chelsea play like this against any present top six teams in the EPL, the game would have been over in first half for Chelsea. Unless drastic improvement happens, I still don't see Chelsea in Europe competition next season.

If there is anything I hate about Chelsea this season, it is their sluggish style of play. You don't have to be romancing ball before you score. You need to take any available chance, take the ball to opposition box, give a killer pass and take the shot when necessary. All these useless passes without vision is just not the way forward at the moment. Fortunately, they advanced to next round.
Not just against top 6 teams, if they play this way against any team in the premier league they would definitely lose the match they were very sloppy in the first half and any premier league team would have taken advantage of that and punished them but all that mattered is that they progressed to the next round.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 06, 2024, 02:03:47 PM
Wolves have been the most consistent mid-table team in the last 5 matches because they got 3 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. They got their winning streak by beating Everton, Brentford and Chelsea. Especially for Chelsea, this is clearly not surprising because this team has sometimes struggled this season against mediocre teams. Now both Wolves and Chelsea have the same 28 points and I think it is likely that Wolves will overtake them in the next few weeks.
Wolves have really improved alot, you will underestimate them and how they play but now they have leveled up a bit now their performance have improved massively compared to the beginning of the season when they were struggling, they started poorly and lost so many points that made them to be on the relegation zone but they bounced back already and are currently sitting on 11 position which is a good thing for them, they managed to win three consecutive matches but can they keep it going for long? Can they keep up the consistency? Because the premier league is very competitive and every team no de gree for each other.

Wolves are still a team that is difficult to predict and what they did at the start of the season, like beating Manchester City, was the most surprising victory. I can't wait to see their next performance and also want to see them destroy the competition for the teams above them, especially since the gap is not that big and Wolves have the opportunity to do that.
Exactly, they are unpredictable and no one expected they could pull off a win against Manchester City, i was also surprised when they won against Chelsea as well although Chelsea are very poor playing against smaller teams but they had more chances to bury the match against wolves but failed to utilize it. Not sure who their next opponent is but i am sure Wolves wiill not go easy on them.
