If everyone use wallet which support full RBF, they can replace their transaction with higher fee rate even when the transaction itself doesn't have RBF flag.
Exactly this should be the best option when transactions are stuck. I expect all miners would join certain mining pool, where those miners have little or no control which transaction included on a block. So those miner have switch to different pool which let miner choose which transaction added to a block.
This is quite true before now I was having the opinion that it was quite easy for a solo miners to help accelerate transactions with the comparable small hash they generate compared to mining pools and still be able to do so without making losses on apparently wasted electrical power. philipma1957 gave me a nice insight from his reply how transaction acceleration is quite uneconomical for solo miners plus they most times might not generate enough hash to do so.

No I don't have a hard time bringing people to the forum. Though I haven't. However what I do have a hard time doing is trying to convince people to adopt crypto or to explore the crypto space. This is because I think trying to convince them usually ends up messy. There is almost virtually no one on earth who hasn't heard about crypto. Besides Bitcoin talk is a public place and find this forum is very easy especially if you are interested in crypto especially Bitcoin.
Sometimes when you convince people to venture crypto they rush into investing in shit coins without taking time to understand the crypto space so they end up with losses and blame the person who convinced them and boom a +1 crypto hater.

This is a nice idea OP but I think you’re actually missing some points here, the success of individual miners this days having to mine a block is limited because of the issue of hashrate or let me say computational power. So the most effective method this days is a pool of miners which we are currently experiencing. With it been a pool of miners then an individual can not make decision like this.
Secondly this is more like running it for free because most of this transaction have very low fees. With the way miners are currently feasting on transaction fees will someone dedicate their money and time to mine others transaction for some little penny, I think the incentives from the transaction fee that other miners will earn will be too tempting to leave, that’s why free accelerators like Viabtc actually have limited space. It is definitely not a viable idea seriously.
I get your point. However my suggestion is miners can occasionally bump the thread when they feel like. They can pick anytime convenient for them . besides they don't have to announce their deeds if they don't feel like.

Good day Bitcoin talkers Lately there has been a lot of conjestions in the mempool as well as a lot of posts concerning it. Some forum members even had their transactions stuck on the mempool due to them wanting to use lower fees. However I have been thinking lately if there was a way to assist forum members with economical fees at intervals. So after a while of thinking I was able to come up with a suggestion. (An official Bitcoin talk anonymous acceleration thread.) Since we have some nice miners here on Bitcoin talk, how about a reputatable miner here creates a self moderated thread for forum users to drop their transactions which have been stuck for while to be accelerated. Now definitely some spamming may want to come in therefore a reason for making the thread self moderated. Also certain rules should be put in place to guide on the requirements before posting a transaction to be accelerated. Possible ones could be; - you must be an active member of Bitcoin talk
- Users cannot post more than "X" number of transactions during a particular period of time
- rank of full members and above can apply
- transaction has to have a fee of at least "X" sat/byte
And possibly others. The point would be miners here can occasionally bump the thread and asisst in accelerating a transaction of their choice.

Firstly no one ever said all newbies were scum. I believe every single member here was once a newbie who gradually grew to their respective ranks. The kind of post you make here on this forum often determines how members would see you. This forum is not a place where you would get some warm and nice treatment from all members. If you don't like the way you are addressed as a newbie, work on the kind of post and discussion you make or you make it your motivation to rank up.

Nice of you Op to actually understand this concept. This is part of the things most newbies fail to realize and end up spamming the forum or breaking rules and getting banned. I my own opinion this forum is like a dictionary of experience in the crypto space especially with Bitcoin. Bitcointalk contains a vast majority of both information and experience especially about Bitcoin. Before I joined this forum I too had some wrong ideas and misconceptions about Bitcoin which gradually got cleared as I learnt and spent more time on the forum.

Congratulations on your winnings and new tv op. Yes definitely as a responsible gambler one should also spend their winnings wisely. And talking about wise spending, alot of people have different things they deem to be wise if you would break this news to some people especially a gambling hater they would say you still did not spend the profit from the win wisely. Most of the time people usually make bigger losses when they try to stake their previous wins for the next bet. Of course gambling is usually based on luck so they may still win but if they lose they would be back to square one with no wins.

Request: Delete my account 100% or tell me how to do it myself.
Delete your posts and abandon your account. You won't be missed. I laughed so hard when I read this😅 Anyways Op your post is rude plus you should understand that no post is ever deleted for no reason so I would say if you are here to learn and not spam why don't you sit down and check out what made your posts deleted and fix them in your future posts. Even higher rank members sometimes have a few of their posts being nuked in the past and they don't seem to create threads about it.

The first Bitcoin block was mined on January 9, 2009, at 08:54:25. So today, 15 years ago, we got Bitcoin that was first mined. Out of curiosity, I had been checking Block 1 and surprisingly saw that it was mined this day. So quite excited and expressing the celebrations. I know the discovery process was long, but the final stage was today. Today, the world got a new currency that has changed the world's financial system. I don't know how to thank the mastermind behind this Bitcoin concept, Satoshi Nakamoto, but salute. 🙋♂️
Yes indeed a nice anniversary or birthday day for the first block I would say. I'm not that much of a baker probably next year when I have nicer baking skills I would try making a cake same time next year. As I wrote the first paragraph I could recall the days when I was still much newer to Bitcoin talk I did a whole lot of findings, read a whole lot of articles too and even created a post some time ago about some mile stones and facts. Here it is and I even included the dating of the first block. Bitcoin milestones and factsPerfect timing on you making this post I must say even with the forum time.

Speaking of privacy I believe in this case it depends on how much Bitcoins we are talking about here. And please don't get me wrong, I am not saying privacy is not important neither am I saying you have to tell us how much coins you wish to sweep or transfer. But all I'm saying is if it's just a few hundred dollars it won't be much of an issue. In my opinion even if you send it to multiple wallets it will still traceable to the final wallet. A possible alternative is for you to swap those coins to fiat or some other stable altcoins and they use it to repurchase Bitcoins. You con make all these p2p to remove the ability of an Exchange to trace you Bitcoins to the final wallet

Logically gambling everyday doesn't seem to be a healthy practice. multiple gambling plays and stakes do not give a 100% guarantee on your winnings. Even though you can possibly win every single time, gambling everyday will become a habit that will gradually become part of you and before you know what is going on you can't do without it then boom you are stuck with a nasty addiction. Gambling is supposed to be something done not too often to become a habit and possibly at nice intervals. Gambling should always be carefully carried and done responsibly. One should be able to ration time and even money they spend during gambling activities to prevent great losses and the risk of an Addiction.

There have been some good and quality posts that I've come across why navigating through the forum and I found out that some of the users have been inactive for a very long time but the posts they've made deserved merit, so is it advisable to merit the post(s) of a user(s) that have been inactive for a long interval of time considering the fact that they made Meritable posts?
Another post about merits Anyways every user has their individual reason for sending merits. In an ideal situation sending of merits is not supposed to be a decision or the user himself but a decision based on the quality of the post. Except that user is actually Satoshi NAKAMOTO 🙂 who happens to not be active here for the good of all. Wether a user is active or not should not be the reason you send merits but rather how important the reply or thread is. I think most merit sources understand this very well that is why you notice them sending huge amounts of merits to old users or inactive users sometimes. Worry about making nice contributions to the forum and merits will definitely find your posts. Besides merits and quality posts are like metal and magnet our top Merit earners like o_e_l_e_o and LoyceV amongst many others can testify of that
