As I posted back on page #638....

Let's talk about ICONOMI dividends.

First, some facts.  The ICONOMI ICO ended on Sept 29.  On that day, Bitcoin was worth 605 USD / BTC.   ICONOMI closed their ICO with $10,682,516 in crowdfunding.  So they got 10,682,516 / 605 = 17,657 BTC equivalent.  That investment paid for 85,000,000 ICN tokens.  So each token at end of ICO was worth 17657/85M = 0.0002077 BTC each or 0.0002077*605 = 0.1257 USD each.

The deal was that the first 10K BTC would go into ICONOMI development and the remainder (7,657 BTC equivalent = $4.62M) would go into the ICN.Performance (ICNP) fund.  ICO participants would then split as dividends 20% of profits from this initial ICNP investment of $4.62M.

There are also supposed to be numerous other dividend income streams from fees, etc.  We're gonna ignore them for now, and talk here only about ICN dividend profits just from ICNP.

Here's the key question: What dividends must ICNP yield to be considered a success?  

My answer: ICNP will be a HUGE success if it yields annual dividends greater than those produced by the top dividend stocks on the American NASDAQ exchange.  The top dividend yield of any NASDAQ stock is 23% from OXLC.  Note that the top-yielding Credit Suisse stock of SLVO yields 14.65%.  If ICONOMI can deliver better yields than the best that Credit Suisse has to offer, ICONOMI will be doing VERY good indeed...



So the "success" question above becomes "what does ICNP have to do so that 20% of its 2017 profits equals 23% of its total ICN token ICO value of $10.68M?"

Well, that's just straight algebra.

(0.2) * (2017 ICNP Profit) = (0.23) * $10.68M

2017 ICNP Profit = ((0.23)/(0.20)) * $10.68M = $12.3M

So for annual ICN dividends to equal the best that NASDAQ stocks have to offer, during 2017 Jani and Co. must turn the ICNP original $4.6M into $4.6M+ $12.3M = $16.9M.

That's a 3.7X multiplier.

BOTTOM LINE: If you believe Jani and Co. can take $4.6M and multiply its value by 3.7X during 2017 in the Cryptocurrencies market, then you need to head over to Kraken and buy ICN, because hitting that target will make ICNP a better dividend producer than any stock on NASDAQ.  

Note that ICONOMI dividends will outperform the best NASDAQ Credit Suisse dividend stock by "only" hitting a 2.7X multiplier for ICNP in 2017.

(And if YOU think YOU can run a crypto fund that will hit 3.7X or even 2.7X during 2017, then YOU need to get your fund on the ICONOMI platform!)

Sell orders have decreased because weak hands have folded and left the game.  The "mountain" is eroding towards the right (higher prices) over time.  It is not avalanching to the left (lower prices) because there is a solid cliff of buy orders soaking up whatever the weak hands will sell them.  That buy wall has been rock solid for over a week.

ICN prices have been a slow motion game of whales shaking out weak hands for the past 6 weeks - especially in the last week or two.  

This can't last forever - eventually whales will POUNCE.

The number of BTC in sales required to get to a 4X multiplier on the original ICN continues to decline....

The price of ICN is on a knife edge that is getting sharper every day.   When we finally get to a place <cough>...Polo...<cough> where traders are willing to spend 250+ BTC in volume on this coin, the price will explode.

I hope the price of ICN will rise and the ICONOMI platform will mature.  I have invested a fortune and I am not going to sell because I know it is a great concept.  It now only needs a great implementation.

Sigh, I feel like I'm doing this daily like a weather report.  Last ICN sale at Kraken was at 0.000185.  Current BTC price on coinmarketcap.com is 738.38 USD per BTC.  Current value of ICN is 0.000185 * 738.38 = 0.1366 USD per ICN, up 8.6% from end-of-ICO price of 0.1257 USD per ICN.

Panic and dump tokens in this situation?  Um, you might consider a new hobby besides crypto investing.  Try knitting.

As I posted earlier, I calculate ICN.Performance fund has gone up $800K since ICO (original stake was $4.6M) just from Bitcoin appreciation.

People are used to quick wins in cryptocoins.  ICONOMI is a long, slow play.   It's not going to pay off big until 2017.  But when it does pay off, it could pay off BIG.

I can wait.   I take great comfort in the ICONOMI price holding steady while Bitcoin rises.  

Few if any of the other alt coins are so fortuante right now.   I still believe in the idea behind Lisk, and I always will, but wow am I glad I am all out of Lisk for now.  I would have lost half my crypto bankroll by now if I had stayed with Lisk.  You've gotta keep thinking and looking for the Next Big Thing.  I still think that's ICONOMI.

You calculate it the way you choose with whatever subset of currencies you want.  I'll use the official ICONOMI total amount raised number and stick with 0.1257 USD per ICN as the official ICO final price.

YOU paid 0.1331 USD per ICN because YOU paid in Bitcoin.

ICN was purchased using numerous currencies : BTC, ETH, LSK, USD, EUR.  These were all converted to USD for the final calculations by ICONOMI.

According to the article you quoted:

That amount of USD bought 85M tokens.

The AVERAGE price per ICN over ALL FIVE CURRENCIES COLLECTED is 10,682,516.42 / 85,000,000 = 0.125676663 = 0.1257 USD per ICN.

THAT'S where I got the price 0.1257 USD per ICN.

Get real.

Last sale price on Kraken was 0.000183.  Current BTC price at coinmarketcap.com is 730 USD per BTC.  So ICN is currently trading at 0.000183 * 730 = 0.1336 USD per ICN.  

ICN is currently up 6% over the past month since its 0.1257 USD per ICN launch at the end of ICO.  

Most other cryptocoins out there have gone DOWN in value over the past month from the Bitcoin price surge.   I am HODLING.
