Hi guys, is there anything in the pipeline that justifies another huge price push?

Not really, nothing verifiable, only the lame fish story.

I don't think the fish story is lame. That sort of business is the kind of business that could really benefit from blockchain.
I imagine in years to come a great variety of businesses will use blockchain technology. We can't predict the future but Stratis is in a great position to build what businesses will want.

Ok but are you closely collaborating with businesses already to see whether what you build is really what they might want?
I'm not from the Stratis team . I have no idea what they are doing. I presume there would be many many companies interested in blockchain technology and thus many companies happy to talk to Stratis or other projects. I have no information about whether Stratis is talking to anyone.
I know they got their first partner and I think it makes a lot of sense for a fishing business to use blockchain.

It is important to know where a fish was caught and when it was caught. Regulators will be quite interested in these issues too. So a block chain makes a perfect fit

Ha that's interesting. The first partner really is a fishing business? I mean, why not, but it's probably not what most people / investors would expect.

I think the project will be interesting. Time will tell

Exactly. Make your decision for an investment and then give it time. It is most often the only reasonable strategy to trade highly speculative coins of ambitious projects. That being said, I am giving this a chance!

You know that the project was postponed, right? We will have to wait for more time to see what's gonna happen. They post improvements and developments here which is good for the people. They created the demo I think and this will be proof of concept.

I wasn't criticizing the project at all. I am all for well-considered decisions and if postponing helps finding the right path to take, then that was a great decision.
I agree with your opinion. with delay to find the right path. Hopefully in the future this project can be a big and successful. hope there good luck

We understand the hesitation in accepting our delay, but we need you to trust that this is the only choice we have. We did not delay because want to delay, but rather we are delaying because we are setting up the required legal infrastructure for our company and token sale. We will continually update everyone on what we are working on, but I can ensure that this is the best possible case for what we are doing.

I absolutely trust you on that one. Rather do it this way than with overwhelming uncertainty about critical aspects of the project. For me, it is all good.

as i hear guys new Korea exchange will add Stratis, this will be great.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/6vd9c3/strat_to_be_listed_on_korean_exchanges_could_be/ but it could be listed soon, future, or maybe never. it just talks there is no guarantee..

Korea is currently (and probably in the future) a great market for crypto related projects. If that can be made happen, we should go for it.

]This wouldn't make any sense at all. The real estate is tokenized. It doesn't matter how much the coin is worth, it represents the appropriate share in a real estate no matter what. However, it should be assumed that the value of the coin also reflects the value of the properties, which is then again difficult to handle. Do those coins get any kind of specific tag, for example property 1 etc.?
How could this one didn't make sense? You already said that it should be assumed that the value of the coin reflects the value of the properties, then it will make sense.
The value of the properties is directly proportional to the value of coin and vice versa.
I already answered this thing.
"The value of the properties is directly proportional to the value of coin and vice versa."
That things matter when you want to buy REAL token from another currencies. The value of the properties are depend on the amount of REAL tokens, not the value of the tokens.

Ok I don't understand this... If you have a single token that is supposed to reflect a property's value, how are you going to deal with all the tokens reflecting fluctuant value of various properties? You either need a clear identifier of a token per property, or you have a problem. It's as simple as that.

It's explained pretty well in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_50nZyUc3KA

As i understand it, once a property is listed on the platform, the current value of the property will be translated into a X amount of REAL tokens. So even if you haven't used your REAL tokens to purchase a part/stake of a property, the token has value because you CAN use it to purchase part of a property. And those property's had inherit value. Sure housing markets fluctuate, but its nothing compared to normal crypto. And given that they are starting with the housing market in Spain, that is a housing market that is currently increasing in value a lot.

It doesn't matter. There are goods and bars about a blockchain based property token. Markets become faster and more fungible. That's a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. Because whales could literally control for housing prices, which would be insanely bad. Imagine someone holds a majority of tokens in the network, would that person be able to manipulate even houses backing the tokens (or vice versa)? It is a kind of securitization with even stronger potential dynamics than during the MBS crisis. I am not saying it is bad per se, I just feel this kind of uncertainty that tells me that this could blow up significantly if the tiny inexperienced crypto market fails to correctly price properties.

This is probably too late. There are the competition but really faster .
News there are also not many here . This is not good for the bounty people and investors. They do not want to wait any longer

We should give some time to team.. its better to get a good product at later stage
of course

Yes, but with time passing by chances increase that someone else is going to make it happen in the first place.

Not really, nothing verifiable, only the lame fish story.
More announcements for alpha versions on testnet, nothing ready for production.
Some wild rumours about big partners and exchange listings.
Dumping into anything above $6, mostly wash trading.

Wherever and whenever you read about Stratis, expectations are high though. As for that, your answer doesn't really sound motivating! Smiley

This thread could really need some activity. Apart from that, why would anyone use Ganjacoins to purchase stuff in your store?

becuase they want the product and have already been doing so, we were the first coin to offer seeds before the other "pot" coins even had a store. we actually have CBD Pens at great prices that you wont find in other coins as well .. if you do not want to use GanjaCoin then dont no one is forcing you to use it . we have been doing fine for months with sales so if your still doubting the project there are 1000 of other coins to join .

ANother thing the low activity doesn't bother me one bit on these forums as i talk to my members all the time :-)

I didn't know that, but thanks for enlightening me. You are getting my question wrong here: why would you consider my question an offense? Why not answer with substantial statistics? if you don't convince those who doubt in the first place, you will go nowhere.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] TRANSMISSION – FAST AND LOW-COST WORLDWIDE CURRENCY TRANSACTIONS on: August 26, 2017, 08:56:08 PM
So what is the value proposition of this coin precisely? I am not sure I understand what you intent to achieve.

TMN token is interesting because it will also act as a payment tool and processed by our network. That is, TMN client tokens from the moment of entering the exchange (September 2017) will become a full-fledged exchange medium in the #Transmission network with constantly growing value and capitalization as they are provided with a growing stream of transfers in the #Transmission network.

All offered TMN tokens will be supported by a specially created Fund, 50% of commissions from #Transmission network transactions, and will be transferred quarterly to exchange were TMN will be listed. The main purpose of this fund is to provide liquidity of tokens through the possibility of their repurchase from their holders at any time and increase the capitalization (exchange rate) of the TMN token on the crypto-exchange market.

Ok but what is it precisely that can be transferred? What is the main purpose of the platform? Thanks for your info!

Here is what you can transfer: major world forex currencies: AUD, NZD, USD, CAD, EUR, GPB, JPY, CHF, CNY, RUR, SGD, HKD, INR, NOK.
And basic crypto-currencies: BTC, ETH, ETC, LTC, XRP

Basically we're going to be just like a Money Gram or PayPal, but unlike them we are gonna work with crypto currency. For example PayPal takes 3% just for transfer, we will take less then 1% for transfer and conversion if needed. And the most important thing, it's such a hassle right now to get crypto currency for your Fiat currency and other way around, but with us you can do it easily under 1%.

You are most likely going to run into legal issues, right? Elon Musk wanted Paypal to be decentralized back then, but he couldn't make it because of legal issues. If you have fiat gateways and stuff, and you have cross boarder transactions, you won't get around the legal hassle. How are you going to resolve that?

No, Theoretically all the transfers not going to be international ones,  it's like you will transfer from your bank to another bank in same country.

But that isn't realizable, no matter what. As soon as foreign exchange is involved, you can't circumvent any sort of transboarder exchange. Do you have a legal team in place or are you just giving your luck a try? Serious question!

Lets say i invest 1000 coins in one property. In two weeks the value of the coin looses value for 50% and somebody else invests 1000 coins in the same property. Will i own a bigger share of that real estate? Will the invested coin value follow the market?
The dev must answer this question since it is the reality of the cryptos, it's volatility.

Is there a special reason, why you decided to choose ethereum instead of other coins, like waves? Was it for example just the popularity or is there maybe a bigger reason, wich is speaking for ETH?

ETH is a no-brainer. With the growth and advancements being made to ethereum all the time and the very strong network, alongside being the leading coin for smart contracts with largest market cap, it would be stupid not to go with ethereum.

This is true. ETH won't stop to grow. Not as a simple coin, and absolutely not as an ecosystem. It is going grow exponentially with every single developer joining the ecosystem and building applications.

Ok, can you actually provide me a link to that store? Would like to check it out? Or is that actually a physical store?

Don't you think you are exaggerating things a little bit? The party isn't over yet I would say. Stratis can still grow significantly.

It's just a troll. Don't believe anyone dissing a company simply because "they are jerk off slackers", without offering any valid criticism.

I know it is part of the crypto business. But sometimes leaving such posts without a comment is also bad. Has always been a problem to deal with trolls on this forum, too sad.

people will not come again to this ICO. you should be programme these thing before.
Do not be too negative-minded like that because everyone believes this is a good project just maybe dev holding ICO until October because it has a very reason in the calculation and I hope that later on everyone starts going here

I missed most of the discussion. Does all this have to do with the announcement from the SEC about Initial Coin Offerings or is this related to something else?
