581  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Broker/Platform HELP on: November 28, 2020, 06:11:06 PM
There are a couple of brokers out there that offer support for the metatrader platform. Moreover they allow you to trade using btc and other cryptos. I think that's what you're looking for. The platforms are evolve markets and simplefx, but there might be others as well.

Good luck, man
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE Multidoge wallet problem on: November 28, 2020, 03:21:15 PM
Guys, I have used the "import paper wallet" feature on Dogechain.info and 'swept' my wallet. The transaction does show up on dogechain.info block explorer, but almost a full day passed and still got no confirmations. Do you know what could be the problem? Note that when I try to import the paper wallet using the private key again - it says this address has zero balance.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price pump influence bitcoin price Negatively ? on: November 28, 2020, 09:04:42 AM
From my perspective altcoins have no power on Bitcoin. They only receive the crumbs that come from the institutional funds pouring into BTC. You can say that alone by looking at the market capitalizations.

To be sincere I don't see any altcoin that will be even remotely close to Bitcoin in the long run. Altcoins are going to have their own "niche" market - especially the utility ones.
584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 17000$ today on: November 28, 2020, 06:38:09 AM
Bitcoin price always changable no one can predicted it correctl.Today i chack the bitcoin price so what's happen end of this year? Please share your experience

A healthy bull market is not a parabolic movement, but a series of surges in price followed by retraces and consolidations at important levels. I actually like the way Bitcoin moves. It gives people time to think and ponder their decisions. Wink

Now.. No one can accurately predict the price of an asset. To my knowledge there is no crystal ball existing on Earth.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin anonymous? on: November 27, 2020, 07:22:43 PM
Bitcoin can be 100% anonymous if the user knows how to cover his tracks. However I don't think our society needs 100% anonimity. From my observations the average joe does not care much about privacy. Personally the fact that Bitcoin offers a high level of anonimity when making transactions is simply a bonus on top of the more important features like decentralization.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE Multidoge wallet problem on: November 27, 2020, 02:14:20 PM
Thanks for your input @NeuroticFish!

I will probably wait another day or so to see if the transaction gets through or not. Otherwise I'll just get the full/official client and sync it from scratch.

They should place a warn message or something on the MultiDoge website, though.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DOGE Multidoge wallet problem on: November 27, 2020, 08:56:19 AM
Anybody encountered problems with the multidoge wallet recently? I have recently downloaded the latest version of multidoge and imported my old wallet. The wallet is fully synced, I have made a transaction but it has only been seen by 1 peer and there are already a few hours since I've sent the transaction. If it is any useful I've paid 3 DOGE as fee.

Would appreciate any kind of help from the community. Smiley
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for calling Bitcoin scam on: November 26, 2020, 08:25:22 PM
My personal opinion of people that call Bitcoin a scam is that they are purely ignorants. I challenge any human on this planet who has the ability to think fron an economic perspective to check out the Bitcoin fundamentals, its value proposition and report to the financial markets and our current payment system.

There are also the other type of people who think something is scam because they haven't made money out of it or lost money. Absurdity at its best...
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shadow of Destruction over Bitcoin on: November 23, 2020, 09:48:47 PM
Quote
Bitcoin needs new investors, those who know the price of bitcoin is  18,000 $, not 10,000, 8,000 and 7,000,
so every once in a while we will see such fears and emotional sales that buyers simply and cheaply Insignificant refuse to sell their capital.

Grayscale and other big funds are buying at these prices. We saw that in the news. There are your investors - institutional investors. The retail traders will have less and less power on the market as the big money has already started to come in. However I'm sure there are soem retail traders out there who have the buying power of a fund or a big company.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 23, 2020, 09:14:30 PM
This is one of the risks you take when keeping coins within a centralized exchange who have custody over your holdings. Moreover I don't think that Coinbase is insured by an official authority, so the risk is there.
That's why I encourage people to hold their crypto holdings in personal wallets preferably paper or hardware wallets if you want to keep them as an investment.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Surpassed MasterCard Value on: November 23, 2020, 07:49:55 PM
I expect much more from Bitcoin taking into account that it is an asset and not a stock. However only by small and steady steps you get the trophy. Wink

I'm wondering if JP Morgan will declare anything once Bitcoin overpasses them. I think we'll see that happening soon.
592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price From 0$ on: November 23, 2020, 05:05:01 PM
I think we are in a for a big surge in price. There have been 4 years without any crazy movement and I'm sure, heck, all the big funds you see out there think that Bitcoin is not going to stop here. $50k is an easy target if you ask me, but I believe the adoption needs to raise a bit more (probably a couple of years will be enough) before breaking into the 100ks, but everything is possible.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dose meme helps a crypto to be viral? on: November 23, 2020, 11:59:05 AM
In recent time i noticed such thing that in every new project or old project announced meme contest. Where they give such big amount in community for making memes about their project . Now what do you think is this memes really can attract investors?

I think memes are really powerful and I'm being serious here. If you look on Instagram crypto-related pages and Twitter as well, a lot of buzz is created around Bitcoin memes and I'm pretty sure these attract the attention of both newcomers and established investors.

If you think a professional investor won't be influenced by a mere meme, you're wrong. We're all humans and we all like irony, comedy and sarcasm (less or more). And whether we like it or not in our subconscious memes affect us. Grin
594  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: November 23, 2020, 11:17:59 AM
It all depends on where you are comfortable with. Both trading and investment can profitable in their ways so I think it is better to choose according to your skill or will suit your time.
In my case, I have a lot of stuff to work on and I do only have a bear time to make any trade that is why I choose to change into investment.
I would say that crypto investment was safe though but if you know you were doing and know where coin to invest I think you'll be fine. Regarding the speed, crypto is volatile so the ROI wouldn't be that slow.

I resonate with you here. Trading and especially when you're doing it intra-day requires quite some time and a lot of your mental resources. It gets pretty rough when you have to pay attention to multiple indicators and timeframes, keep an eye on other assets and integrate a robust risk management system. If you have another full-time job and business that you want to take care off, its quite an overkill to trade on top of it. I don't say that it can't be done, but it requires certain sacrifices.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: November 23, 2020, 07:33:23 AM
I would definitely invest in gold and Bitcoin, even stock and real estate isn't bad either, just treat gold like your offline real world investment and Bitcoin is online investment, bitcoin will bring you fast returns and gold investment can take time because it doesn't fluctuates like digital currencies

I don't agree with this view that gold is a "real world investment" and Bitcoin is an "online" investment. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are as real as Gold is. Yeah, BTC does not have a physical form, but that shouldn't exclude it from the "real world". It is imperative to understand that we have an entered the Digital Era and more and more of our investments will be digital.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rumours that Bitcoin was created in Russia on: November 23, 2020, 06:52:26 AM
I haven't heard about these rumours, but I do know Russia has a lot of good programmers. You can tell that by the amount of cryptocurrencies "led" by Russians (although a lot of them are scams).

It does not really matter where the Bitcoin code was forged. What matters is that the vision is working so far and we might have a replacement for inflationary and government controlled fiat currencies and perhaps a strong competitor to Gold as a hedge asset.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real purpose of Bitcoin on: November 22, 2020, 08:10:53 PM
The fact that Bitcoin transformed into a hedge-type asset like Gold doesn't mean we have derailed from the original purpose. I'm sure that Satoshi thought about this possibility and personally I think this is a step towards his vision. In my view the purpose of Bitcoin is to re-establish the standard of value while upgrading the way we make payments.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 22, 2020, 05:05:48 PM
I think many people also get confused with all the emotions that are associated with trading so they forget what timeframe they're in. As a rule of thumb I suggest you to decide what hat are you wearing. Are you an investor who is looking for long-term gains, a swing-trader, a day-trader or a scalper? It's best to not wander around these "hats" especially when you don't have years of experience under your belt. Take your schedule and personality into account when deciding Wink
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: November 22, 2020, 02:39:11 PM
I think since bitcoin was born. It has changed many aspects of our life such as trading, technology and it is bringing many changes and opportunities for young people to enter the crypto market. They invest in Bitcoin and bring wealth than other fields are real. but we should understand that not everyone can become rich if he does not have a clear understanding of Bitcoin.

I think the term we should use here is WEALTHY, not rich. Someone can win the lottery and be rich, but someone like that will likely slowly lose its net worth because he does not know how to manage that kind of money. He will most likely buy a mansion and two-three super-expensive cars.

Someone who holds Bitcoin long enough is not the kind of man who sells everything for a house because if he was, he would not hold it for higher profits once he has the necessary amount to buy the last series 8 bmw, or ferrari. Smiley
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: November 22, 2020, 11:44:20 AM
The act of holding Bitcoin is considered an investment by itself and taking into account the ROI multiples one can make in just a few years I'd say that one can become very rich without leveraging their Bitcoins on other investments.

Of course that you could get a loan using BTC as collateral and use that money for other profitable endeavors, but this way you increase the risk.
