I poted an add for the btc cent on btcbubble.
Someone accidentally sent a large amount to the dish, and someone took from it
I don't know how to verify who sent or took.  They do show up on block explorer.

Only places I've shared this link is in the forum, witcoin and btcbubble.  Some how it shows we use coins sent someone to the link too.

Also I posted it on twitter, but the twitter post is after the transactions happened.

If anyone is the recipient please return it.

Here is what I have found.

Instawallet is reporting a human error

The btcdish link is posted mainly here, witcoin ad btcbubble
I will post in those places, and am contacting instawallet.

If you found 6.04 btc in the dish please return to the proper owner

If you are the right full owner
Sorry I didn't think this would happen.  I don't have 6btc to give you.

The wallet has gotten roughly 200 views

Hope your not trying to pull a scam.  I'll be back here when I hear from instawallet admin.

583  Economy / Gambling / Re: [1 BTC] Bitcoin Doubler, plus referral program. on: June 03, 2011, 05:15:02 AM
Why would you be against this?

As someone somewhere else stated, this kind of pyramid or ponzi scheme is just gambling.

It's gambling that you'll get in before people stop joining. That's why nobody joins fxnet now because everybody is already on fxnet. It's a bet on how many people will join and how quickly.

I have 2 fxnet accts funded, setup a 3rd and will fund it when the first two have paid for it, then I'll get a 4th, and fund that one when the other 3 have paid for it.  Then promote the 4th, I used my own refferal for each level, no point in going further, except to increase my random odds, not worth it.  I'm sure others are doing the same thing.

I've funded my sldoubler acct, but I think the refferal link is doing better, I already got 2 or 3.  By the time enough people sign up so my double pays out, I doubt I'd buy another.  I'm the 49th to pay, so there needs tobe 147 paid users for me to get mine, if I want back in at that point, I'd have to wait till ~450 sign up, at the rate we're going that will be a long way off.

Need more bitcoin users, since bitcoin users who will sign up have already.

586  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Randomizer, just a stupid pyramid scheme on: June 02, 2011, 12:08:39 AM
Just joined under a random number, so whoever you are number 435, I hope you enjoy the downline

http://fxnet.bitlex.org/?ref=1076

Love the random distribution, that's a pretty sweet way to make it a non-standard pyramid scheme. Figure we got at least another few months before there's no one left to join Wink

There's a few years supply left, getting people to use bitcoin is the hard part.  I tried to get all my fb (people I've actually met in person) no one seemed interested.

When I'm a millionaire then maybe they'll listen.
587  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If you can explain this, I will send 1 BTC your way... on: June 01, 2011, 11:27:07 PM
Cord goes in, screen goes out

Can't explain that

Never a misscommunication
588  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 0.10 BTC per signup on: May 31, 2011, 09:18:51 PM

Won't put cc in, and not sure about telling friends about it yet.

If its like that free ipad thing where you sign up for something I won't g far with it.
589  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Bubble Game (with jackpot) on: May 31, 2011, 09:14:27 PM
I personally lost interest because of the ridiculously long timer and 1+ month rounds at the start, so I stopped checking the site for a while only to see somehow 2 rounds happened within a week.
The timer is still just as long though, so I can only conclude interest in the game is decreasing.

Timer is decreased by an hr a every 24hrs now
590  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Bubble Game (with jackpot) on: May 31, 2011, 04:55:10 PM
I think what might get more people more interested is if, like I suggested before, there are more premium ads at the top and have them on all pages

1 top spender (randomised) maybe change to top referrer

2 next bubble to burst

3 most recent bubble

4 maybe something else suggestions?
591  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Bubble Game (with jackpot) on: May 31, 2011, 04:43:54 PM
Part of the problem with getting more players is someone needs to have bitcoins.  Bitcoin is still a very limited community.

Reaching out and introdcing bitcoin to other people is tough.

I'm advertising btcbubble wherever I can think of.  I use bitly so I can just type it in, check the stats if you want http://bit.ly/btcbubble+
592  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Bubble Game (with jackpot) on: May 31, 2011, 04:33:24 PM
Not enough people are advertising the site I guess. Either that, or people just don't want to participate.

I'm thinking it could be interesting to have a reverse style bubble, where the last advertisement is on top, and pushes the others down. So whoever has the last bid gets the most viewed ad. Could also make it so new bids only reset the timer if they are greater than or equal to the previous bid.
Not real sure right now, some ideas are floating around. If I get enough ideas I may create a site :-/

I like the reverse order.

Not sure one the >= last bid

I had also mentioned to give the most recent spender a higher random ranking or an extra spot where the top spender ad is.
593  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Bubble Game (with jackpot) on: May 31, 2011, 01:58:25 PM
I was going to wake up early to see if someone won, and buy bubbles right at the start.  Didn't here my alarm, there's only 3 pages of burst bubbles, and I'm on page 2, I still haven't had a bubble bursted.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the largest purchase you've made in Bitcoins? on: May 31, 2011, 01:25:22 AM
1btc at a time is all I've done, sldoubler and fxnet.  Fxnet has paid off, sldoubler referrals have almost paid off

But also did some 10btc trades at mtgox and coinpal.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4chan takes a chance on you on: May 31, 2011, 01:22:07 AM
4chan tard, 4chan and anonnews will be getting more than 2btc/day once more people wake up.

I set up a few referral links

Somehow I've entered the wrong address in the send field.

Now I know bitcoin is completely one time, and can't be undone; I'm going to have to accept the loss on the chin.  What I don't understand is how I've done it.  I can't find where I got the wrong address from.  It's never been used before in the block chain, I can't find it on Mt.Gox or Britcoin, in my wallet or via a Google Search.

It looks nothing like the right address, so it's not a typo.  I've thought and thought, and can't understand how I've done this.  I must have cut and paste it from somewhere, but I have no clue where.  I ask here only in case anyone else has done such a crazy thing but knows what they did.

At first I was going to blame mybitcoin; but my browser form history shows this unknown address in the mybitcoin send field; so it is without doubt my fault.  I just wish I knew how I'd done it.

(If you happen to have just received a magical .25 BTC from no one and felt like generously returning it to me, bit.ly/btcopticbit has my address in it)  I also cant find the txid.
599  Other / Off-topic / Re: send out your women on: May 29, 2011, 11:10:02 PM
I tried getting all the people I know on face book to use it.
I posted something before the weusecoins vid came out.
then the vid when it came out.
when the value shot up over $5 I tried to get everyone to get atleast .02btc by signing up for bitcoin bonus (the only referral I feel comfortable sharing with everyone, since everything else is gambling, porn, or pyramids)
My xGF showed some interest, but wanted me to explain it more and why she should use it.
my grandmother tried to sign up, but got confused at some point.  She is also on a new win laptop and is used to her old eMac.
no one else showed much interest
600  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin Street Faucet on: May 29, 2011, 11:01:50 PM
These guys didn't pay out. They sent me an advert, they said they'd send me 0.02 BTC, but they didn't. There website offers no contact methods. The website is listed on the bitcoin site, and they're not paying up.

Someone feels entitled....

I feel left out, all I got was a code and no ad.  maybe I've built a tolerance to ads and cant see them, just double checked, no add.

txt came from south africa (+27 83 293 xxxx)  are these cheap to get in Africa, and is it cheap to send/recieve?
