581  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversifying? on: August 22, 2017, 02:51:43 PM
Recent surges is so tempting to get profits and I've got my share, just a bit but enough for several months I guess.
Diversify is always a better way instead of depend on 1 source, if you can buy a flat or something, then buy it. I always want to buy gold, land, or make a business to create another source of income or long term investment. But, do not buy some things that will costs even more monthly such as car or something like that. Bitcoin is a great investment as well, so do not sell big part of your savings, just 20%-25% will be enough.
582  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Non reversible Payment Gateway Like Bitcoin on: August 22, 2017, 09:47:35 AM
Everyone is looking for a way to get money with a payment gateway like bitcoin, but with more stable amount of money, for example perfectmoney, so Is there something similar to perfectmoney ?

What's the point of discussing this on the bitcoin forum? Why not use bitcoins? Bitcoins prices are indeed unstable, but if you are doing a quick deal like the whole thing happens in one day. You buy bitcoins in the morning, use it to pay for something by noon time, get what you bought by the afternoon. Surely if the transaction was something like that, then prices would not have mattered.

Agree, better to use fiat currency if you want stable amount. Bitcoin is better than perfectmoney that Op mentioned, its price increase over time instead just being stable and beaten by inflation. Bitcoin price will be more stable once we have massive adoption, as it has bigger market cap and higher price.
583  Economy / Speculation / Re: If price of BTC reach 50K who is going to buy? on: August 21, 2017, 11:43:39 PM
You can always buy small pieces of BTC.If it gets that much buyers will have to buy like 0,0001 BTC or something and todays whales will be millionare and probably cash out. Cheesy

Yes it can be, even though bitcoin reach $100K, people could buy small pieces of bitcoin depend on how much money they want to spend.
Why not? People willing to buy bitcoin because its value keep growing over time and it has real usability, being used as an alternative currency and may become major currency in the future, who knows. At least, people should know that bitcoin offers many benefits than just hold fiat currency for mid or long term.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the top 5-10 biggest problem solving coins? on: August 21, 2017, 04:28:42 PM
Honestly, I didn't notice about those coins problem solving as most people just treat altcoins as trading objects refers to the price, so people rank altcoins based on its trading volume. I don't know if there are some people that really use altcoins according to the usability. Bitcoin is a digital currency which can be used as a medium of exchange, so does ethereum but most altcoins can't be used like that. So, if you ask about altcoins problem solving, I'm not sure if those altcoins really solve some real problems in the real life.
585  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-17] Australia follows Japan in move to regulate bitcoin on: August 21, 2017, 03:55:00 PM
Within a few years from now, I am quite sure that most of the modern economies will have done the same. Negative aspect is that exchanges and services will require all sorts of personal information. Funny thing is that in quite some cases you can't withdraw any funds unverified, but you can deposit them. Result is that people end up in a big disappointment because their funds are stuck/frozen until verification is completed. In that regard, exchanges shouldn't be accepting incoming deposits from unverified accounts, it's that simple. In current form, this is even misleading, but obviously, exchanges do this on purpose to trap in user funds.

Obviously, it's always easier to deposit and harder to withdraw what belongs to you Cheesy
In that case, everyone should verify their id to get full access on local exchanges but I do not recommend to deposit-send so much money-btc into trading platforms such as bittrex or poloniex.

The best way to get more acceptance from citizens is government should regulate bitcoin and exchanges, but the best part is govs can't track all of your wallet as long as it doesn't connected to exchanges. However, exchanges mean to be a third party to convert your money, so do not deposit or send bitcoin into which you can't afford to lose, just in case something happen.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell? on: August 21, 2017, 03:03:43 PM
Hi, all. I have 20 Litecoin and some Ethereum … around 5.7 Ethereum. Bitcoin price seems to be rising, and fast. My question is should I sell my Ethereum and Litecoin now and buy Bitcoin? I checked the price of Bitcoin today. It went down quite a bit. Do you think there is going to be a healthy correction before the price rises again? I feel like I should wait for a couple more days and view the trend. The problem with that is Litecoin seems to be gradually falling. The same is happening with Ethereum. What do you all think?

Whenever dips happen, that's the good chance to buy bitcoin, especially if bitcoin on Bull run such as in this month.
The lowest price of bitcoin on August 15th maybe around $3900 and so far the highest peak was $4500 on August 17th, which mean you could gained $600 profit per BTC1. Well, I hope you did bought bitcoin at that time and have sold at the peak.

And look at current eth surges, rise up 13,62% in the last 24 hours. I guess, it is a good time to sell eth and litecoin and invest in bitcoin again due to segwit will be activated today or tomorrow as 305 blocks left to be mined before segwit implemented. https://coin.dance/blocks
When litecoin segwit activated few months ago, its price increase from $4 to $40 within 2 moths, imagine what will happen with bitcoin price after segwit be activated.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Domination: The year of Bitcoin total dominance? on: August 21, 2017, 02:01:43 PM
I believe that bitcoin will not completely dominate, because the banking system will not allow it to be done and will simply prohibit its use in the country. In addition, now bitcoin is already an investment, not a currency.

If the banksters decide to, they can prohibit bitcoin being used in most countries as they have power to do it, by push govs to issues a rule about banning bitcoin. Or, banksters could invest Millions-Billions of dollars right now and dump bitcoin when it reach $10K or $20K, then people will find bitcoin crash.
Anything can happen in the future regarding central bank systems against decentralized bitcoin.
So, I agree that bitcoin can't fully dominate currency market because it has some shortcomings to be used at world scale. Bitcoin may still be used in conjunction of fiat currency, as an alternative digital currency.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So I have BCC and BTC or what? on: August 21, 2017, 10:55:20 AM
make sure you keep the wallet where your coins are and dont just move coins and delete it, because your coins wont stick together. If you send bitcoin to a new wallet and get rid of your old, you will lose your bcash.

Wow, really? I even know it, so if we move all of our balance to another wallboard BCH we will also be missing? Like that.

Of course not, bch will automatically cloned from your bitcoin-private keys, after hard fork August 1st and bch distributed, it will stay on your/exchanges wallet which support bch. No matter what, even you send bitcoin to another address, bch will remain safe in your wallet. I've did that several times.

Looks like Op missed the biggest party of bitcoin, but I guess he can generate bch as long as he has private keys.
589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Crash?? on: August 20, 2017, 12:46:42 PM
I read in several Newspaper that experts think the Bitcoin is gonna crash soon. What do you think? Huh

What makes these people experts?
Who named them experts?

Experts predicted that Trump will not become president.
Experts predicted that Brexit vote would fail.
Experts predicted that the world would run out of oil by the year 2000.

I don't trust experts.

LoL, agreed. Grin Grin
What kind of newspaper? I don't see it around, as most of those news are just speculation or FUD as a way to misleading people.
Bitcoin does fluctuate, sometime increases and decrease, but current situation of the market seems support bitcoin and more adopters keep coming and join into bitcoin community. There are a lot of bitcoin acceptance news and being used in various sectors, from business, merchants and companies.
You can read one of it https://news.bitcoin.com/japans-largest-c2c-ticket-marketplace-accepts-bitcoin/?utm_source=OneSignal%20Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push%20Notifications
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoincash gains more support on: August 20, 2017, 11:18:25 AM
If bitcoincash gains more and more support from the merchants, the miners and the cryptospace community, is it really competing directly versus bitcoin? I reckon, the answer would be a no. Bitcoincash is competing against litecoin.

I speculate LTC's value to go down while BCH's value to go up as time goes by.

I don't think so, look at Litecoin price since bitcoin cash launched until today, still persist within $40-$50 as bch has been around for 20 days.
Every cryptocurrency may relate each-other as people always invest and cash out from one to another coin, but bitcoin cash increase without cannibalize litecoin. But it seems bitcoin price has declined since few days ago when bitcoin cash gain more support and mine bch more profitable than mine bitcoin, that's why people tend to play with bch at the moment before come back to bitcoin again.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Easy & Secure software to start your own ICO on: August 19, 2017, 03:40:24 PM
Extremely expensive piece of software for something as simple as ICO.
To be honest,I wouldn't take any ICO's seriously which are using third party websites to manage their ICO .What is the dev team for then ? If a team can't make their own ICO software,do you think they'll be able to develop a product ? No.
Only scammy ICO's with no serious intentions of running a project would buy it.

Strongly agree Grin
Well, you need to reduce the price obviously, just a word imo.
But, if some people really take it serious and want to use your software, then it will be good advertisement for upcoming ICO.
The thing is, you need 1-2 ICO to proof your sofware could be profitable after spend $6000.

ICO is just the way of financing startup, which has not to be based on IT or Blockchain.

I don't think so, because ICO devs team should be able to handle IT, but some people who don't have skills on IT or blockhain can use your service. Good luck.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't regret take action now! on: August 19, 2017, 07:11:32 AM
Changes are still very high in cryptocurrency! With the right attitude and creativity you can still become a millonair! But you have to grab your changes now because regulation will make it more difficult!
I am pretty sure that it really depends on what coin you purchase in order to become a millionaire. People don't like to just purchase every coin that there is within bitcoin exchanges because they might lose a bunch of money on something that may not receive a pump later in their holding experience.

Trying to get all the coins that there is right now won't make someone a millionaire so it is better to just invest in certain coins while figuring the percentages of each deposit that is made. Cryptocurrency is a tough thing to learn as well when starting out.

Agree, it depend on what coins to be choose due to only few coins that really profitable for long long term and mostly altcoins being pumped and dumped in a short time which if you can't catch up, the you will loss if invest in those coins. So, I prefer to play in a safe place, just pick up some potential coins for long term instead of playing a game in a short time. The regulations about cryptocurrency stil unclear right now and it's better if govs doesn't regulate cryptocurrencies as illegal things as it isn't a treat for govs. Japan has lead the way after stated bitcoin as a legal payment and South Korean did followed them to regulate cryptocurrency which make it growing bigger in these countries.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 BCH = 1 BTC before end of august? on: August 18, 2017, 11:56:28 PM
You should say in the end of August 2018, lol. Bch is being pumped right now and could reach $700, I hope it can make to over $1000 again but most people will start to sell at this point. I've read in the news that bitcoin cash has gain more support from various business and mining bch is now 21 percent more profitable to mine than bitcoin, that's why its price spike over 50% in the last 24 hours.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan the leader of Bitcoin trading on: August 18, 2017, 04:18:21 PM
Hmm, I don't think so Cheesy. In my opinion I think China is the country have biggest trading volume in the world cause Bitcoin industry is very develope in here and you can easily find informations about the biggest bitcoin mining factories in the world, It's being in China Cheesy

No, it's not. The biggest trading volume according to exchanges volume is in South Korean right now, even though the biggest mining pool located in China, you can check it here : https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/. I will quote it for you, 24 hour trading volume in exchanges :
1. Bithumb : $1,230,606,500
2. Bittrex : $635,499,526
4. Bitfinex : $610,358,587
5. Poloniex : $340,789,773
6. Coinone : $267,545,640
7. Kraken : $260,698,006
8. OKCoin.cn : $254,956,100

As you can see it, the biggest trading volume in China come from OKCoin, but if we consider all of exchanges in there such as BTCC, Huobi, Yunbi, BTER and so on, maybe China really has biggest volume trading but not according to that article which mentioned trading volume exceeds 97.000 BTC, or around $413,000,000.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin cash pump on: August 17, 2017, 11:33:17 PM
Which site do you check to see bitcoin cash price?
I aware of bch price an hour ago and see it being pumped around 34.4% right now and I've checked on coinmarketcap, bitcoin price has reach $424 or 41.85% increases. No matter why this is happen or what is the reasons as I assume this is a common thing in crypto-world, which pump and dump always happen. If you know that bitcoin cash has 8Mb block size and if I could send bch faster and pay low fees than bitcoin, I will consider bch better than bitcoin. But, I know bitcoin cash will be dumped again as soon as it reach $450-$500, well I am waiting for $1000 before decide to sell mine.
596  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin for food delivery on: August 17, 2017, 01:33:52 PM
Bitcoin in my country still unregulated, there is no clear statement about it, but at least we could use bitcoin by our will and there is a big local exchanges where most people in my country could trade bitcoin. Maybe there are some merchants and restaurants that accept bitcoin payment, but in another city in my country. If someday, I will go to there and could spend bitcoin directly to those restaurants will be another good experience with bitcoin.
597  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ♦Pump and Dump♦ Trading bot♦ P&D Bot v1.9 release ! Bittrex/Yobit/Poloniex live! on: August 17, 2017, 06:41:13 AM
BTC0.05 for all of those trading bot, right? Or people could choose for only Bittrex trading bot and pay BTC0.01 or whatever it might be?
I'm not an expert about coding or program, is it compatible with all of Mac os or Windows os as it is a pyhton bot?
If I set up this bot to execute some bids and ask at night, then go to sleep but my pc goes in sleep/hibernate mode, this bot still works or I wake up in the morning and nothing show up when I turn on my computer? Thank you for answer my questions. Cheesy
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥 😍 😍 😍 BITCOlN CASH JUST MINED FIRST EVER 8MB BLOCK!!!! 😍 😍 😍 🔥 on: August 16, 2017, 11:38:36 PM
why are you posting here about alts imbecile?
Because is an alt with a lot of potential 😂

When was the last time you transact/sent bitcoin cash and how much it was?
Then, how much you have to paid for transaction fee?
How long until your transaction be confirmed?
If all of those question has good answers, then it is a better digital currency.
But doesn't mean could compete with bitcoin without more support from people, business and companies all over the world.

I'm going to dump all of mine as soon as I feel the time is right. I'm not serious about holding BCH.
It's a respectable decision but I think that implies a considerable risk. Bitcoin was invented to have more freedom, we can't depend of exchanges to make 'Lightning' transactions, we already have paypal to do it, the Bitcoin idea is about other things

That's what most people think about bitcoin cash, an easy money to get as we've earned it for free.
When trading platform and exchanges allows bch deposit and trade it, its price got dumped hardly, and that will happen again when its price rise again.
599  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc or Bcc on: August 16, 2017, 05:43:20 AM
Most people will vote for btc as it has been proven as the best digital currency and real usability in various sector instead of bcc which just new player in cryptocurrency world and still need more time to develop further. Bitcoin cash has no where to go at the moment and just stuck at $290, it may rise someday get back to its ATH over $1000 but maybe takes 5-6 months later. Which one conform the idea of satoshi? I still believe in bitcoin, simply because it's still represent the founder, still the number one of digital currency and its name is bitcoin, not bitcoin cash.
600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Remember $4,300 this is one of your last chance to get cheap coin on: August 15, 2017, 02:24:30 PM
You might not see prices this low ever again, remember $4,300.  Likely the last time you see cheap Bitcoin.

Let's not over-hype the situation

this is very true,
you will reliaze it was an over-hype when something like that happened again.

Indeed, this cycle always repeated again and again in crypto-world as bitcoin price is just a bubble which keep growing because people invest their money in. Then people who has invested in the earlier stage, want to cash out, get a bigger piece of cake which cause (temporary) loss for people who invest in the last time, who invest at the highest peak. That's how the bitcoin market works.
So, remember in trading field, do not invest some amount that you can't afford to lose. But don't worry about it, because bitcoin price will recover again for sure, as the way is still far ahead.
