Well Chicago was definitely a surprise seeing the whole game. But just like the Lakers vs Twolfes game yesterday, you have to play a full 4 quarters to win a game , not just 3.

A surprising outcome that gives the bull a chance to push their way for the 8th seeds, though we all know how the competition will going to be as they will be facing the Heat. Congrats to all the Bulls backers Lavine give them decent profits.

Quote
NO vs OKC right now is going back and forth as well with NO having a slight edge at half time. Still, everything is possible since in every game so far we saw big and smaller leads melt within minutes.

OKC wins the game with a very close gap, both underdog step up and now have that chance to take the last spot, let see how they both will try to win their respective games and move up to the 8th seed.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: April 12, 2023, 12:42:53 PM
It's a very sad anyway, just as me well I couldn't inherited any house from parents (father) before he died and I have been living in a rented apartment for the past 10 years and luckily started getting my own personal house in a city close to my village. I know it's very hard to grow without one inheriting any thing from parents.
There's something you must learn, I am not against you having a girlfriend but it should be you have your feet dusted before keeping any relationship; just as I have done, I never have any relationship between age 18 to 25 year why because I know that is a challenging time for me to seat up and breakout from whatever that may holds me not getting to my destinations.
Keeping a woman around may either increase your income or decrease your income but in a way you noticed is not favorable to you then limit and a make change and raised some funds to develop yourself.

Living independently from our own income makes us proud, your struggle is now producing things that family members never thought of, don't blame your parents for not giving an inheritance, they have given the best for you, especially education.

Yup, it's you now to dream and achieve whatever you desire that your parents are unable to provide, with education or with the life they provide to you is enough for you to try your best to make your dreams come true.

In terms of renting, for now, yes, it's a waste, but if given a chance, better to take advantage if opportunity
to own a house come up to you, takes everything and hopes for the best that you can in making it your asset.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: April 12, 2023, 12:19:29 PM

We need that to acknowledge the needs and not just to use the money in spending into something that's not that important. Taking loans is a responsibility that we need to pay back.

If you use it just to buy something that's not really necessary, then expect that you needed to spare
portions of your salary to pay it back, else, you will keep repeating by taking more loans just to cover
that first loan that you did.
There are really stupid loans where a person has 11 iPhones and they take out a loan to buy themselves the latest model and they don't have the money to buy it, this is what I call stupid loans. But sometimes there are really difficult situations when a person is forced to take a loan, because he does not have money in order to solve the problem that has arisen. And although I am also against such loans, but in a certain situation you don’t have to choose.

It is necessary to try to have some kind of savings in order to have a safety net for such situations, not everyone thinks about it.

That's the accurate explanation with stupid loans, something that you really can't afford, but you wanted to look like you can have it and only taking loans is the way to have it.

With a kind of mindset and without a stability of having a high-paying job, the chance of making more loans
to cover your debt is the next thing to expect.

You need to be more practical in terms of your lifestyle if you want to avoid being attached or addicted to
having loans.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 12, 2023, 11:59:07 AM
The game went crazy! I thought the Lakers would already win the game with Schröder's 3-point shot, but then Davis fouled Conley on his last 3-point attempt. Conley also has ice in his veins; he made all three free throw attempts, and now the game is in overtime.

Good thing the Lakers are still in the game despite LeBron's turnovers in the remaining few minutes.

Yeah, it was an exciting ending for the Wolves. They did try to win this game against the home team, but to compound efforts of all the Lakers players really work out to win the game.

With LeBron and Davis showcase their experienced it was a hard deal for KAT and Edwards lucky for the Wolves
as Conley really helps them in trying to win the game but without a good game from the two main core duo nothing
can be done to upset the Lakers.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 11, 2023, 08:20:49 PM
Yeah, this championship fight needs to happen, and so is the other sanctioning body's championship and eliminator. The Inoue going up in weight created this kind of mess.

What? How Inoue created this mess? In the first place, he already achieved all things that were needed in the bantamweight division and it just makes sense for him to move up. No need to stay in the 122 division.

It's Jason Moloney who created this mess because he backed off this fight.

It's just that there's no official date released but it's not a problem. We just need to wait.

I'm talking about when Inoue vacated, so there is a power vacuum being left as a result of that. So obviously all 4 belts are available, and there are fight like this being ordered by WBC, although initially it should have been Moloney vs Casimero. And then Moloney decided not to fight Donaire, jump ship to WBO and now he is fighting for the belt.

And there are title eliminators too if I'm not mistaken with Gaballo and others. Now, we even don't have the date for this said fight. It was ordered months ago, but so far no official date. So right now we don't know what is happening and there could be some changes, who knows.

So that is the mess that Inoue created, everyone wanted to have the title. Governing bodies are scrambling to fill up that open space.

After unifying all the belts, he just jumped up and vacant the titles. Now we see those possible upcoming fights and we might see more, but moving forward with this said upcoming fight of Donaire.

There's no update yet and there're no hypes and interest that can pull the trigger to push the date
to happen. We are just waiting and hoping that it will take place.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: April 11, 2023, 11:21:47 AM
We can use a lot of spare time to earn extra income, I also do at least 3 side jobs and the results are quite good, apart from working in the office I also grow short-lived vegetables or fruits such as watermelons, melons, various vegetables, and also raise chickens even in small quantities.

That will generate good additional profits. If you can continue adding your profits to your initial capital and the cycle will continue, sure deal that your profits will be good in the next few months.

A side income if being saved or being invested will be worthy and will be enough to make decent
savings for your financial needs.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: April 10, 2023, 12:18:48 PM
Nobody will ever have the chance to own a home that they will not be pleased with it, because it is a valuable asset and in my opinion, an investment that is likely to grow in value in future, and once you own a home, you will have a wonderful chance. Some people may opt to rent a home because they cannot afford to buy one or build Due to the high cost of housing in my nation, I would prefer to own a home over continuing to pay rent. I believe that getting a home would be preferable to continuing to pay that rent because if I may continuing paying rents, I may later discovered that those rents payments would have get a house.

Rental housing will be convenient for those who often move, or perhaps have not yet decided where they want to live. Many different situations can force people to rent a house, so it is convenient for someone to buy a house, and for someone it will be more convenient to rent it during this period. Probably everyone would like to have their own house, which is why many settle for mortgages that they pay for twenty or thirty years.

Rental housing has been in demand at all times, and most likely it will be so, for some, this is an unnecessary expense, and for some, a forced necessity.

Yes, aside from those who really can't afford to buy their own house, renting is the only option for people who are still undecided where to stay and how they wanted to live their life for good.

I mean, if you are not permanent yet and you are planning either to go outside your country or
you are planning to move from one city to another. Renting is the only option you have while
trying to decide.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Shiba Inu still worth it? on: April 10, 2023, 11:44:53 AM
Shiba inu, like most other cryptocurrencies, is very volatile and prices can fluctuate depending on many factors, including news regarding the cryptocurrency, changes in market trends, changes in supply and demand, etc. There is no guarantee that the price of shiba inu will rise in the near future or reach a certain level of market capitalization. Regarding Shibarium, this may affect the price of Shiba Inu in the future, but don't rely on that alone. You must also consider fundamental factors such as technology, development team, and overall adoption of the cryptocurrency.

Always do a good research, especially when playing with meme project. Shiba can pump any time as how meme asset works the same as how Doge moves when pressure is playing inside the market.

But on the other side, you also need to work with acceptance knowing that at any moment you can lose
all your investment with a good whale dive and your emotions affect your decision making then chances
is always big in letting your money go.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 10, 2023, 11:08:13 AM

Phoenix Suns might win this first round without PG13 around but they do have to be careful with Westbrook. That dude will certainly give his all, especially with a goal of a championship. This may be his last chance in a good team with Kawhi Leonard so he will play harder than before.

This is what mistake done by Lakers where they let Westbrook shoot and they penalize by WB for that plan they do. They should remember thay Westbrook is happy and well supporter on Clippers that's why we see him perform compare when he is on Lakers.

For sure Suns will not take him as granted because they know Westbrook still a high caliber player. But I still go with the sun with this match up knowing that PG still not on them and Suns is complete with Durant a reliable star which they can trust on offensive and defensive end.

I go also with the Suns here, knowing that KD is also hungry to win another title with a set of another super team behind him for sure he will bring everything here to help in winning the series.

But like what you have said, WB will be on hype here knowing that it might be his last chance to play with a caliber
team, even without PG13, they've got a healthy Kawai and a support role player who can compete and have a possibility to win.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 09, 2023, 06:59:11 AM
We can only expect a rematch if it's written in the contract. And since it was not announced that there was something like that, we should not expect a rematch. However, it still depends on the outcome of this fight. If the outcome is controversial and this fight sells to the crowd, promoters would love to make a rematch as they'll make more money from it. The fighters just have to follow the orders from their promoters.

Personally for me, regardless if there's a rematch clause or not, I'm not really thinking anything about rematch. But if I will share my own opinion about that, I don't see Fulton will consider a rematch if he lose but instead, will focus on moving up weight.

Good point, we've heard that he wanted to go up in weight already, but maybe he was advise by his camp to still campaign here even at the last time to face Inoue. As he is a good name in his resume and he will be really tested on this one. So I will say that it's a good move for him and it's a win win. Even if he losses this fight and the belt, he will proved to the boxing fans that he is not afraid to face anyone in the ring even against the Monster in his own country. And boxers love this kind of challenges and this is a great opportunity for Stephen Fulton to cement his legacy this early in his career, rematch or no rematch.

Honestly, it's like "business not finished" for Stephe Fulton and since it's timing that Inoue moved up and Fulton is still there at 122, he decided to pursue first the new challenge at 122 rather than pushing to his original plan at 126.

Aside from that, I'm also see it's more of pride as if Fulton still insists to moved up on 126 and ignoring Inoue, he might receive some criticism that he is might ducking or afraid of the Japanese monster.

Moving forward, the fight now happened and we just have to wait who will be the winner.

Better to face Inoue and let the fans to decide who's better between them instead of taking those criticisms about ducking the unifying champ from his previous weight division.

Yes, moving forward, we are just need to wait for the date and see both fighters meeting inside the ring
and showcasing their skills and talents, either Fulton or Inoue, it will be witnessed by our eyes when the schedule
set to go.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: April 09, 2023, 05:52:46 AM
I also do several side jobs and of course the results can help financially, around my house there are many empty houses that want to be sold, if the house is fully furnished then I will invite the owner to work with me to manage and rent it out daily to monthly, and this can make me earn about 40% of my monthly salary.

almost everyone is currently experiencing bad economic conditions, making good use of time and taking every opportunity or opportunity that exists is part of the solution that needs to be done. like the opportunity that you have done, in my opinion it is very good to stabilize your finances besides you get a monthly salary from what you do.
I hope for the best and from whatever we live to meet the needs of our family and stabilize the economy which has been sinking so far
For me even a side hustle is just a drain on my pocket
I am not sure if I am unlucky or I don't know how to do the business.

it seems like it's impossible to happen, how can you work on the side without income?, I don't think this makes sense. or maybe you don't work but work socially or do charity work, this is normal if you don't have income from what you do

I don't know, but maybe also that he's trying to do a side hustle like investing/trading or putting a business that's not producing any income and instead of profits possible, that he's suffering from losses.

Not a typical side hustle to consider, as we always aiming for a side job that can add some finances
on our daily salary, something that you can earn with providing services which is very big help with
your entire financial needs.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: April 09, 2023, 05:30:02 AM
I forgot on when Casimero became a trash talker but I definitely agree that he can walk the talk and he is still undefeated since he captured that belt against Tete, correct me if I'm wrong.

But we should not forget that even if he is a trash talker, the guy has a good heart outside of the ring and he has helped a lot of people in their community when the pandemic hits.

For him to be able to fight Inoue, he should have a belt to depend to as that belt will give him a little leverage and that would start now by knocking out his opponent come May 13.
If Casimero wants to fight Inoue he needs a belt, otherwise I do not see Inoue holding any interest on fighting him, and this is because boxing is a business, as we know Inoue was supposed to fight Casimero but due to the problems Casimero had with his weight he was unable to do it, do not you think Inoue was mad about it? As not only he wasted a great deal of time studying Casimero, but he probably got even less money than what he had in mind since he was forced to fight Butler instead.

That's something relevant to what happened, I agree that each fighters are also investing time with how they will going to create a good strategy to beat their opponents.

And Yes, it almost happened if only Casimero manage to stay in his weight and secure a win with Butler,
that next fight should be against Inoue, a good money fight that might bring huge numbers of sales and sponsorship
if both are still have belts to risk during the fight.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 09, 2023, 05:18:49 AM
It's not all on kyries shoulders.  The players they traded away ruined their chemistry.  And as far as last night that was all on the front office.  They didn't want to lose their first round pick which they would have to the Knicks if they beat the bulls.  Their puck was top 10 protected and they would have fallen to 11th if they won, essentially losing the pick.  Sad sack of a franchise.  I hate tankers..
The saddest part is they have a chance. And yes, Jason Kidd was honest in his press conference, it's the management who decided to lose the game for the first-round pick. That must've sucked for Luka Doncic as all players really want to play and try to tie with the OKC Thunder and maybe have a spot in the play-in tournament.
But, they cannot do anything about it since it's the management's decision. Kidd might even lose his job if he won't follow them.

Nuggets played today and I was surprised to see the first five playing the game. It's not that I am against it but with every jump they make there's this scary thought that an injury might happen. They are safe for the playoffs, they may want to just rest it thru the season and not jeopardize their stars especially Murray and MPJ who are more prone to injuries.

Tomorrow, all teams will play. 15 games and this is their last game in the season.

Kidd can't do anything about that as the decision is from the management, they might be seen differently as they decided to let this season and have a longer rest for preparations.

Whatever happens with their squad might not be in the shoulder of someone, but more on the whole
team who played the games. It's not their season and accepting that then they needed to plan ahead
of time, hopefully that 1st round pick will help them to their next chase for the title.
594  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: April 08, 2023, 12:21:14 PM
Before we take a loan, we need to consider the needs for taking such decision beofre proceeding, also we nust not let taking loan be our priority or habit that we always do and get into us, those that often take loan make business with it and take their profits from it after repayment, this same people were not new investor or a business start up, they are people already in the system that need extra fun to push forward business bids on particular aspects.

595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: April 07, 2023, 02:39:36 PM
No, it is not too late to start investing in cryptocurrencies. In fact, many people continue to invest their money in cryptocurrencies and make a profit from it. Of course, as with any investment, there are risks, but if you research the market and understand it, you can find many promising opportunities. All in all, investing in cryptocurrencies can be an interesting and rewarding experience, but requires caution and discipline.

Required cautions and limitations, not too greed but enough to compensate yourself, there are still open opportunities if you will going to start your journey now.

It's a never-ending cycle and all you have to do is position yourself in the manner that you understand the most,
with good anticipation, chances are always open if are not afraid of taking the risk from this type of industry.
There's no such thing about being too late because if you wont start now then you wouldnt really progress further or would really be able to make yourself a lot better in terms of investment or finances.
Its true that this market is a never ending cycle on which it would really be just that right that you dont make yourself get let behind.Even though some people had already gained up that much
but still  you do still have the chance on getting on the same chance but of course it wont really be that something simple. New projects do pop out in the market and if you are really
that tending to place yourself then it would be basically depending on your own choice.

Depending on how you project your investment and how willing you are to proceed, the timing always depends on how you understand the business and how you can take care of your investment.

Same with how you see things. There's no late as long as you are willing to work with your
opportunities, take time to DYOR and work your way to succeed.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 07, 2023, 09:02:58 AM

I think that's every athletes goal, not just this boxers, but any sports that they can bring honor to their country, they will do it. But this is a very different league though, I mean it's not that they are in the Olympics representing their flag, this is all professional now, and this is their job. I might be in the minority here, but I don't believed those boxers who says that they fight for their country in the pro ranks, they are fighting because they want to earn money simple as that. And that's why there are boxers who despite their age keeps fighting. Or even former boxers who came out of retirement to box just to scratch that itch one more time and then still make money.

Going to that side as this sport is a big business and having that opportunity for sure you'll love maximizing your opportunities and take everything out to bring decent profits.

On the side of bringing pride, yes, I also agree that it's part of it since these sports are worldwide and
being known all over the world is something that most, if not all, fighters desire to achieve.
597  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: April 07, 2023, 08:54:28 AM
Loan/debt is an addiction that can be stopped easily, despite other addictions. Sometimes it is enough to go through 1-2 loan, to resist from taking a new one. There are people who are addicted to take loan all the time, to live on credit. Such addiction can be cured with sudden receipt of a huge amount of money.

I don't think debt is something that can be stopped easily. Addictions, no matter the kind of addiction cant be stopped easily. People who are addicted to debt don't borrow because they are broke they borrow because they're addicted to  it. There are people who are in too deep in debt to an extent that they need to borrow to survive, these are the kind of people that can stop borrowing when they get a huge amount of money.
People don't just wake up and find themselves in huge debt, it happens slowly. They can take a loan for something and when its time to pay back they don't have the money, now they have to borrow to pay back and so the vicious circle continues.

There's different kind of people for sure, there are those who got addicted as they are using those loan money to finance their desire luxurious things in life, while others are taking loans because of hardship in life.

We don't or we can't conclude the reason, but most of the time those who are addicted to taking loans
just to finance their vices are the ones who can't really control it.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 07, 2023, 08:21:20 AM
^^ Yeah, hard to see why teams are still interested on Kyrie though, maybe he was really that good that Dallas took a chance on him and hope that him and Luka will work it out together, same with Lebron and Kyrie, but it didn't.

Kyrie seems to have his own mind or at least not the norm as far as NBA players goes, sometimes he acts weird, or something that we think he had some mental issues or it is just his personality. If he test the market again, then let's see what teams are going to give him that chance again.

Not sure why it will be on Kyrie if we see his performances playing with the Mavs, he still brings those numbers. I guess it was the whole team's chemistry that didn't work out for coach Kidd.

Maybe if Kyrie will stay they can still try to work things together and assess what are
the right adjustments that they will be needed to come back strong.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 06, 2023, 10:56:15 AM
I don't think Donaire will retire as long as he can still make money. As long as he remains a champion, he will see it as an opportunity to earn more before retiring. Most boxers retire when they can no longer win and sell their fights, but Donaire's journey may be different since he is still considered a dominant fighter despite his age.
Undoubtedly, in the world of boxing, money plays a significant role. While Donaire is undoubtedly popular, he is not as wealthy as the boxers in the upper division who become champions. Therefore, he will likely take this opportunity to continue fighting and making money at the same time. The outcome of this fight is essential, as if Donaire were to lose, he may not consider continuing his boxing career.

One reason though is that he campaigns in the lower division and the money is not as big as lets say in the premier weight which is 147 lbs. But I read that Donaire and his wife has a good investment with the money that Donaire earn in boxing, so maybe they will have enough money even if Donaire decided to retire for good. So still a win win situation for him, if by chance he lost and decided to quit, he will have a good life. And if we wins, then obviously he will fight another day to defend that belt and make a payday for him.

Good thing for Donaire as he and his wife are well-aware that they won't be staying forever in this sport, putting up good investment, making sure that after his career in this sport was over, they can still maintain a convenient lifestyle.

We have seen how Manny Pacquiao live his life now and for sure that's the best example for all those fighters
who will have that same privilege. They need to make sure that before over spending the money they've got
something that will allow them to still have a comfortable life away from boxing.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: April 06, 2023, 10:30:05 AM
Having that attitude affects the performance of Casimero and his reputation, his team should really teach him to focus on his trainings instead of making trash talks, we actually don’t know if this is part of their promotional strategy or this is the real Casimero. Anyway, having this march next month can be a good opportunity for him again to get back on track, I can see a good match up here, Casimero have more chance here to win if be focuses more on his strategy.

In fairness though, Casimero can back up his trash talk. Regardless if it's part of the marketing or promotional strategy, he's not just pure trash-talking but giving proof in the actual boxing match. Might be arrogant to others and not good to see but he's really like that since then.

As long as it's not "below the belt", I think there's no problem with it. Smiley
If a boxer can actually follow through and backup their trash talking then technically it is not longer trash talking and they are just stating the truth, Ali was probably not only one of the greatest boxers we have ever seen but he was also a great trash talker, so I am not against boxers behaving this way, however if they engage in thrash talking and they lose and then they keep doing the same, then I can admit that I will not take them seriously anymore.

For sure, if you act more than you speak then it's reality and that's how fans wanted to see this fight, aiming to see more action than words it's okay to throw some trash words just to make sure you can support it with your actions.

Failure to do it will push fans to leave you and start ruining your career, better to keep enhancing
and making sure that you'll be able to delight your fans not just by words but with the entertainment
that they'll going to have when watching you fighting.
