581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now or I should still wait for the dip? on: August 17, 2023, 11:55:58 AM
It's true, as you said, without planning in investing, if we don't have some planning, it will make us very greedy, we can't control ourselves in a fluctuating market, it will be very detrimental for us. I like your term the market is a battlefield only people who have special skills can win a battle. I think only stupid people don't want to be blamed, if people have a high sense of curiosity, of course they will learn if they fail.
In fact, this is not a term, but rather a common sense that must exist for everyone who likes to enter the market to trade for profit. Because without learning how to trade or how to invest and how to manage capital well enough, someone will experience something very unfortunate when losses come their way. So obviously there has to be some special expertise if we like to be in the market long term, but for investors I don't think they need to be in the market very long and often because they prefer to keep assets after buying at the price level they want.

I think the usual thing is if we invest and hope to get big profits, there is no word greedy for investors, of course people who buy bitcoin when the price is below $ 1 and then hold it until now are not greedy people, they are always patient and want to sell at a lower price higher, of course the risk always makes us vigilant.
Waiting and being patient is part of the struggle or effort on the part of the investors themselves so that they are not greedy people because they have tried their best when buying Bitcoin at low prices which maybe at that time not many people had the ability to do the same thing. So those who benefit from investment are also very much based on their own beliefs in terms of not having any hesitation to buy when they see that the price of Bitcoin has been at a cheap level.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: All millions are from real estate. on: August 17, 2023, 11:31:15 AM
Well, so far, real estate is a very good investment. So many millionaires have used real estate to their advantage, and it really does. Apart from the small risk, the value always increases every year. I think increasing real estate investment before retirement is a very good strategy.
Until now, I am also still trying to combine crypto and real estate. We know that crypto is also a good investment and fast in terms of profit. Those profits can be funneled into real estate, and I think enough people have tried that, and not a few have succeeded.
If the profits obtained through crypto investment are then brought into real estate investment, I would also agree with that point because the profits obtained can be more useful if they are used as capital for other, more different investments such as real estate. And this indicates that the two investment spaces are still good enough to be used by many people who really never look at the age of everyone as long as we have the ability and sufficient knowledge to do it. Such a merger is a good enough combination because the authorized capital is not lost and the profits can also be used for better things so that both of them will look good enough to work together.

I also hope there are no weather surprises at this weekend's Race.
The Austrian Red Bull Ring always presents fierce races so we really cannot predict it with certainty, Ducati has always been the favorite this season, they are very strong but I agree with you that KTM should be reckoned with in its own home and also KTM this season is slowly getting better better than last season.
There is likely to be tough competition between Ducati, KTM and even Aprillia for the title at the Austrian Red Bull Ring Race this weekend.
In general, manufacturers from Europe will still dominate in this weekend's race, but KTM will probably put up quite an extra fight to stop Ducati's domination at the Red Bull Ring. Even though the potential might not be that big because Ducati has a lot of very competitive bikes so other manufacturers will always have a hard time passing them one by one, but I also think that Aprilia could make a surprise at the Red Bull Ring as it has done in the previous races.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 16, 2023, 01:09:52 PM
Getting good players is not as easy as you say Milan needs a lot of money that has to be spent on just one player, whereas if you buy more than one player, it will disrupt Milan's financial condition. At least if you want to buy new players, Milan must consider players who are much needed so that the money used will not be wasted.
Apart from having to consider the position of the players needed by Milan itself, the amount of the transfer fee must also be seen by Milan if they are keeping their cash fairly well in terms of buying players. Because Milan must be able to be strong this season in order to get a title in Serie A even though the competition will still not be easy because Napoli and Inter also still have strong potential this season.

After the long summer break, MotoGP is back on track in Austria, with the current weather forecast predicting very nice and hot weather, the Red Bull Ring is traditionally a Ducati track and I think Ducati will dominate there again. KTM will have a hard time keeping up, there should be no weather surprises this weekend.
Austria's Spielberg Red Bull Ring Circuit is located in a very friendly and comfortable environment so the atmosphere will probably be very good this weekend. Speaking of the Red Bull Ring in Austria, it's actually KTM's home race and KTM itself won there in 2020 via its satellite team and in 2021 via Brad Binder who was on the factory team at the time. Although overall the Ducati is still the dominating bike there, but since the small corner changes on the long straight, it looks like the competition will be even tougher this weekend as traction and braking will be used more during the race.

Quote
By the way, KTM (Pit Beirer) has already confirmed that Marc Marquez will not be joining KTM in 2024.
KTM still respects its current riders and will not make any mistakes with the existing contracts so that KTM had tried to ask Dorna for another slot to create a new team so that it could accommodate Pedro Acosta and Marc Marquez. But this was not approved by Dorna so that KTM did not intend to help other teams such as Yamaha and Honda even though Marc Marquez himself had also started praising KTM recently.
586  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin potentially serve as a safe haven in the upcoming economic crisis on: August 16, 2023, 10:53:34 AM
Hello everyone,

there's a lot of discussion about an impending economic crisis. I'm curious about how Bitcoin will perform during this crisis. Will it function as a safe haven similar to gold? Or will its value decline significantly?

what do you think ?
In conditions of economic crisis like now Bitcoin can indeed become a safe haven asset, but it will not be so similar to gold whose price always tends to be stable in the long term. As for Bitcoin itself, it still has the potential to increase and decrease in the not so distant future, although if you want to use it as a safe haven, I think that's fine too because you can still wait for a price increase to get a better value than before through Bitcoin.

But with gold, you are just like saving money expecting value stability through assets and for predicting the value of Bitcoin myself, I personally still can't be sure whether it will drop significantly again, or even increase significantly again for certain reasons such as cycles and others.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation overpowers the value of money on: August 16, 2023, 09:45:03 AM
I cannot agree more with you. There is no point in for hoping any change if we do not act. If we are just going to sit in a corner and blame whatever it is to blame for the inflation we are all experiencing then we are all just gonna be stuck here far longer than necessary. Find ways to battle the increasing price of the market, meaning find more sources of income and try to plan every expense. We cannot expect to find any changes if we do not change our own ways and actions.
The key to change in life is acting to do work that can bring income. That is, complaining and blaming anything will not give us or anyone else anything, because in the end everyone has to work for himself according to the skills he already has. So in general we are all required to work in life to succeed ourselves under any circumstances so that additional work that can provide income is always more suitable to be done even though we are not in a condition of inflation, especially if we are in a condition of inflation.

You have a point but again it is difficult to find another decent source of income right now as most people want it again you have no other choice because you are just going to blame the government and without doing anything you'll starve and still government don't care with you, another source of income is necessary right now even it is small income like selling foods with your co-workers or any side hustle you can think off as it can add up to your salary, right now hustle hard and lets just sacrifice our free time just to earn extra.
It's okay to sacrifice the time we have as long as the income can be very clear, because time is also an asset in life besides money. So that most people are willing to sacrifice their time to earn money because it has become a very normal thing in today's life, especially if at this time it is not easy to get a side job or additional work that can help reduce the cost of living in life. And for the advice you gave, I think it is also very suitable for some people who are trying to earn extra income for their lives.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 15, 2023, 07:35:23 AM
Yesterday Strasbourg vs Lyon in French Soccer League match between these two teams Lyon lost the match by 1 goal. I bet in support of Lyon team in this match. I was very hurt to lose Lyon team because my favorite team lost the match and I didn't win the bet.Strasbourg won this match by 2 goals. Neither team scored before halftime of the game but after halftime Strasbourg scored 2 goals and Lyon scored 1 goal.
The strength of these two teams is actually almost the same and even from most of their previous meetings they also lost more by thin scores so this result also naturally happened in their matches. And for the disappointment you experienced because you lost your bet, I think you can still try another time with a different team so that the disappointment you experience can recover soon. Most of the matches will restart this weekend and hopefully you bet on the better team.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 15, 2023, 05:22:34 AM
Napoli president, De Laurentiis initial plans was to triggered the sell option for the striker, but checking on the bright side, it will hugh loss for them, besides Luciano Spalleti left them, now allowing the Nigerian attacker leave before their very eyes, ofcourse he changed his mind and have Osimhen back in his role. He totally decreases his intentions and hope to upgrade his team. Victor Osimhen is an important player for the team, he got everything he wants available, so much respects and accolades earned last season, he proof beyond all doubts that he's the perfect striker for the club.
Napoli still really want to defend their title this season even though Luciano Spalleti has left Napoli after last season ended. So that will certainly turn Napoli's mind around to keep Victor Osimhen well enough so as not to experience a decrease in strength in the Napoli team for this season, besides that the new Napoli coach will also be greatly helped by the presence of Victor Osimhen at Napoli this season because of the Rivals like Inter Milan and others will still be very strong this season, so this makes Napoli have to really maximize the potential that exists in each of their players.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 15, 2023, 04:54:48 AM
Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, is not backing down; he knows particularly what needs to be done to fix his squad. Who knows what his future intentions are; he's got everything figured out. The club is now without a striker, which is a large open space, but based on their current performance, they don't appear to be that club that is lacking anything; Carlo Ancelotti has filled the entire voids with extra developed patterns of games. Robert Lewandowski or Harry Kane are the types of strikers the team requires at the moment, but everything has changed, and I believe Kylian Mbappe remains their primary objective.
Even though Real Madrid's main goal is Kylian Mbappe, for this season Real Madrid must be able to use the existing players so they can compete again with their rivals in every game. Because Kylian Mbappe still has to wait for his contract period to expire at PSG so he can move to another team, so Carlo Ancelotti will make the best use of the current squad even though the Club is currently without a striker.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: August 15, 2023, 03:55:56 AM
I think it will be better if we support agriculture industry by investing in it. but unfortunately not all land in this world is appropriate for agriculture industry. some country need to maximize their potential in order to take place in the world market. some country focus in technology or mining or etc, so I think it depend on each country. there are must be various type of product in the market.

In this world there are many countries with different levels of soil, but each land will never be wasted or redundant because land always has different contents in it in each country so that each country will always have a match to support the agricultural industry. Because each country does not have to produce from the same agricultural sources and every agricultural product that is different from each country will also be more profitable for each country when fellow countries can need each other's agricultural resources.

So in general no land is wasted in this world as long as everyone knows the soil content and knows what agriculture is suitable for that land. So I don't think there is a story for farmers not to grow crops as long as they still have land and land for them to work on in order to earn income in their life. Especially if in some countries that have been able to design land with today's agricultural technology so that they can grow crops like other countries with crop quality that is not much different.
592  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation overpowers the value of money on: August 15, 2023, 02:59:44 AM
Anyone certainly does not expect to get inflation problems, because with inflation, the value of money will continue to decline and certainly makes us have to use emergency savings or sell assets, and it's time we must always get sources of income from others, for example with business, investment or others, Don't just keep quiet and blame the situation because our situation will be more difficult if we don't act immediately.
Acting must always be there because it is always far better than being silent and blaming any circumstances. From what I have observed, inflation can also occur due to a lack of natural resources which are often used for daily production materials and a lack of expertise from humans who often sell their services for various fields. So to overcome this is certainly not easy, although it is not an impossible thing to overcome because everyone has to act in their life, be it through work or through honing their skills so they can manage natural resources well enough.

we should act in the right way to avoid inflation. actually company get benefits from inflation, the excess raw material that they bought last year will give the company extra profit if the company produce product using that material in this year as the price of the product that they produce is increase because of inflation.
This is quite logical, because the condition of inflation is indeed a condition that is very liked by companies or factories that always produce goods using raw materials from nature. Because directly the company will benefit and those who often sell their services will also increase their prices so that people can only avoid this by acting on more jobs and honing their skills so that we can also sell certain services in this inflationary condition so that income in life can also increase.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 10, 2023, 06:41:33 AM
As the Manchester City team managed to secure two trophy victories last season. As such, the confidence level will be high among every player in the team. From that point of view, we can expect good things from Manchester City this season.
Not only two trophies last season, but Manchester City also managed to get three trophies at once last season because two of them were in competition in England. It's not wrong to expect good things from Manchester City for this season again because Manchester City still has good potential to look forward to, but you also have to see how the appearance of some of the new players who have been recruited there. Because I think there will definitely be a difference in terms of their performance this season.
594  Economy / Speculation / Re: $30000 is becoming the resistant price on: August 10, 2023, 06:23:04 AM
Allover thinking i can tell $30k is actually resistant price. We are seeing there has bren many days bitcoin price near about $30k. Some times Bitcoin price falling but within short time It revource and again $30k.
The price resistance in the $30K range is also triggered by the buying power of Bitcoin itself which is still going on in the market and there is even a possibility to pass $30K again this year because when purchasing power can continue to increase, of course it will greatly affect the price increase as well. Also, as long as there isn't any news that panics most of the people who have bought Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin should be close to $40K within the year.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: New Research found Work from home workers to be less productive on: August 10, 2023, 06:04:27 AM
I think that psychologically it is impossible to mix work space and leisure space, a home environment where you feel safe. At my job, the boss is very encouraging to me and his presence next to me affects my productivity. But even more influenced by the fact that there is my paradise, it is boring, and there is nothing distracting from work. There are also colleagues there who work as well as I do, and this inspires me to become a better specialist. And at home: TV, cat, PlayStation... these things can only cause a desire to play and do nothing.
This goes back to each individual person, because not everyone can also have the desire to continue playing at home if there is work that can be done to generate income. Likewise when in the office, because not all bosses can have time to continue to encourage their subordinates or employees every day. So apart from the influence of the environment, I think the influence of ourselves must also be seen, although I also agree with what you said, where the integration of the work space with the recreation room is more than impossible.
596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin implied volatility below 40 for the first time: Sign for a bull run? on: August 10, 2023, 05:44:05 AM
Since March when the price touches $ 30k, many are optimistic that the price of $ 50k will be easily achieved before June, now it is August and the price looks difficult to rise, even in May the price has dropped below $ 25k, and we hope that the market will improve soon so that Bull Run will soon occur.
Right now the Bitcoin price range in the market is also still around $30K and even less, but for the optimists most of the people who believe will see a price of $50K in Bitcoin may only be for the end of this year or before the halving occurs. Because the bull run probably won't happen in the near future, but expecting an increase before the halving I don't think it would be wrong either, because with that kind of expectation I think it will encourage some people to continue buying before the price increase occurs.
597  Economy / Economics / Re: New Research found Work from home workers to be less productive on: August 10, 2023, 04:34:29 AM
These researchers found that if you work from home you will be less efficient and productive than people who from their office. Can we say the same about freelance workers?  Do you think that if workers are given the chance to "own" a task like freelancers they'll be more productive because it is just like being self-employed where you treat it as your business and not with the mindset of another man's business?

I don't think it will be the same for those who work on a freelance basis, because those who work on a freelance basis are people who don't follow orders from other people more but continue to do their own thing while working. And in general, freelancers can also be very productive because they have more free time that is not restricted by any rules, so it will be easier for them to manage their own time according to their wishes.

Meanwhile, workers at home, actually they also have more time for them to organize themselves into their work so there is also an opportunity to be productive as long as the work can always produce greater results. Now, for office workers who must always follow instructions from their superiors, it is clear that they will not be productive enough because part of their time must be used to work in the office. And the rest is for his family and himself, so it's clear that the opportunities to be more productive are very few.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 10, 2023, 04:22:12 AM
Thomas Tuchel is an experienced coach who always has a way of dealing with any problems at his club even though goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has to rest until next season but I'm sure that the coach will get a replacement soon.
Not only that, but Thomas Tuchel is also thinking about a player in a line other than goalkeeper, because the Bundesliga will start soon at the end of next week so Thomas Tuchel will have to make more use of this short time to find every replacement he has been looking for.

Quote
About Borussia dortmund I am also very sure that this is his chance to compete and replace Munich because of the loss of his best goalkeeper so that dortmund cannot miss this situation to get the Bundesliga title this season which will start later.
The rest of the best goalkeeper from Bayern Munich is indeed a pretty good opportunity for Borussia dortmund, but it's also not solely that Bayern Munich will be weak in the Bundesliga because if Bayern Munich's players are still good enough next season, of course Borussia dortmund too it's not easier to beat Bayern Munich.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 09, 2023, 04:59:32 PM
It is true that this is a wise move to move from Man United, because Maguire is no longer included in Erik Ten Hag main squad list. United stripped Captaincy means that Ten Hag no longer needs him in the squad, and Maguire will have to drop out for minutes to save his England place.
Maybe there is a separate reason why Erik Ten Hag removed Maguire's Captaincy, because if you have watched several Manchester United matches last season when Maguire was installed by Erik Ten Hag at the bottom line, maybe you will also know why Erik Ten Hag removed Maguire's Captaincy. And from rumors circulating that West Ham is interested in Maguire and has also made an offer to Manchester United.

Quote
If he can be consistent with his best performances like when he was defending Liecester City, of course Maguire will still be called upon to strengthen the England National Team.
Maybe it will be a different story if Maguire can show his best performance again next season at another team, because the best players will still be used by his own national team. But if he is still weak like last season, I don't think he will be called up again by the England national team.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 09, 2023, 02:58:30 PM
Actually the dominance of Ducati like this is not good for moto gp because it will make the race uncompetitive and boring, as happened in F1 where RBR dominated almost every race.
Now try to look back at least ten years where Honda also dominated MotoGP, and did anyone say something was wrong with the Honda factory at that time? I don't think so, friend, because that is the result of their own development to be competitive in the MotoGP race. Likewise with the current Ducati where Ducati has also made developments for more than ten years or to be precise after Casey Stoner left Ducati, so I think there is nothing wrong with the factory Ducati because the dominance they get is based on what they have developed so far for MotoGP.

Quote
but there's nothing we can do because it seems that Asian manufactures are tired enough to catch up with the dominance of European manufactures, compared to the previous year where teams like Yamaha or Suzuki still seem to be at the top and that makes racing more competitive and exciting.
Actually it is not the Asian manufacturers who have become tired of catching up with them in terms of bike development, but there are many independent teams who are currently preferring Ducati bikes over Asian bikes. So that the dominance of Ducati is seen through the number of motorbikes on the MotoGP grid at the moment apart from the factory Ducati itself which has become competitive because their engines are very super power. So the Japanese manufacturer is only left behind in terms of developing the motorbike so that its dominance is no longer visible and the next task for the Japanese manufacturer is to really take advantage of the time on motorbike development when the opportunity arises.

Quote
if Dorna doesn't do something about this, it seems that MotoGP will become an unattractive racing event and will lose its fans.
MotoGP fans have indeed disappeared and some of them are fans of Valentino Rossi himself because some MotoGP fans have become very fanatical about the living legend Valentino Rossi, so when Rossi retired from the MotoGP event, some of his fans also disappeared.
