581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will mainstream users care about the difference? on: November 03, 2020, 03:51:07 PM
Assuming that they can receive and send their money quickly and conveniently with ecash, I speculate that they will never care about the difference between centralized and decentralized.

Would this not hurt bitcoin as a currency? Would this not only encourage bitcoin to be used as a speculative investment? How about mainstream adoption?
I have been thnking about this issue (Bitcoin transaction confirmation delay and hike in transaction fee) that it may hurt Bitcoin if the mainstream adoption see a better digital coin which can simply handle thousands of transactions in few minutes.
I believe we need Bitcoin scalability to be improve now that some private and payment company are joining the crypto scheme.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 01, 2020, 06:17:15 PM
Hey guys, I just want to share my thoughts today about this, I have always said "bounty hunters are not the ones killing projects", but now I'm having second thoughts about it, I participated in youengine bounty campaign for about a week, although it lasted for quite a while, the bounty had about 4 rounds, the bounty ended about a week ago i guess and distribution of  "youcash" started, I received about 307 youcash tokens as shown below

By 8am this morning the 307 tokens was worth $10+, i didn't sell, I held on to it, to my greatest surprise this evening I checked my wallet and I saw that the 307 tokens are now worth just 0.35$
Your thought about bounty hunters not to be the one killing projects is absolutely correct and you dont not to have a change of thoughts.
1) The total allocated amount of token paid to bounty hunters does not give them the chance to manipulate the project price if the project itself/teams are upto standard of creating the project.
2) Every crypto listed on exchange ever since the year 2017 either hold IEO or not will experience dump in price because 97% of whales that joined the token trading competition only want to make profit through the coin not to hold. However, if the dump happened it the duty of the project team to fix it.

583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Even huawei refused to be left out on: November 01, 2020, 05:17:08 PM
So what's your take?
It good that Huawei also joined the life of Paypal by creating the phone that supported and can use as a cryptocurrency wallet but with the issue of Chinese governments centralization I think it too early for us to be happy about this announcement because the features the phone had maybe to support the Chinese national digital currency.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz - Oct 31 on: November 01, 2020, 04:28:19 PM

Gervonta Davis have being busy training, thirsty for fight ever since the pandemic issue and his boxing records which his KO percentage stands at 95.5% shows him to more a KO fellow so I will expect him to win this Saturday fight through KO at rounds 3.

I know Gervonta wants to show off so he can be sell off more future fights like a fight with Teofimo Lopez who just come out from a very impressive win against Loma but Sta Cruz is not a patsy and he is also a champion, Sta Cruz chances is not that good but he will come out and give Gervonta a good fight, an upset here could become the upset of the year, but it's unlikely to happen.

Small chance but still we never knows what will be the outcome of this fight, Davis camps surely wants to have an impressive win to sell their fighter.

He need to showcase his talent to get more big offers, every fighters who wanted to make a breakout to their careers needs to bring their best in  each opportunities.

But just like you've said Sta. Cruz in the other hands also have the same desire upset will also
be a good turning point to his career. No one knows.
Whats a wonderful fight and I respect the way Davis got everything under control despite Cruz trying to knock him out. I'm sure yesterday fight convinced you that Gervonta Davis do whatever he can to win the fight which mean he totally showcase his talent and more big offers are definitely await him.
With that been said, I expected Davis to knock hin out at the 3rd round before the fight but it all good that the knockout happened at the 6th round.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe this is the way on: October 31, 2020, 09:15:56 PM
We all want to be rich in crypto space, I get it but there is possibility that what we want to achieve may not come to past when we plan only to hold coins and tokens for years but how about
It will come past though but it all depend on the coin the investor is actually holding. Lets use Bitcoin as an example if you can buy and hold till the total 21 million coins are mine the price of a single Bitcoin in the market could be $120K or more.

Buy a coin and hold like you intended but take profits when the coin shoot up like double Profit up to 2x and buy back when the coin dumps
All experienced cryptocurrency holders do that with their investment but still decide to cold storage some coins which were meant for the future purpose.
586  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breached $14k today on: October 31, 2020, 05:01:22 PM
Just a few hours ago, Bitcoin breached the long awaited $14k checkpoint.

Long did the analysts and evangelists preached about this milestone.
$14 000 is finally upon us. Are we ready to handle it? Is Bitcoin primed to unleash its might upon us?
We are not ready to handle the new $14,000 price range milestones because the Bitcoin transaction network confirmation delay with mempool flooding could be the reason for this current surge in price and we cant know if we are ready until the transaction confirmation delay is under control which will give chance for some arbitrage trader, whales etc to dump/manipulate the market.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Got robbed and I can't understand how on: October 31, 2020, 04:38:04 PM
Everything solved, got my bitcoins back.
Thank you very much to all!

Internet is an amazing place Smiley
It good you have already get your coin back but to prevent a situation like this in the future always double check the wallet address before sending payment because we have a case where people are attacked by clipboard hijackers and this your issue it hard to understand if the mistake from your end by unknowingly  cancel the transaction.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i Link Crypto to Construction Business on: October 30, 2020, 06:32:49 PM
Hi i own a Construction Business ..... Can i create new Token/Coin for Business ..... will it be valid .....?
1) No, it wont be valid because there some certain concepts crypto currency investors see before they can be interested in new coin.
2) You can link crypto to the business but you dont need to create a new coin or token for your business and if i were you i will just integrate a cryptocurrency payment service like coingate, blockchain API, Bitpay etc. rather creating a new crypto for your business which may somehow impact your business negatively in the future.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algeria must use bitcoin on: October 30, 2020, 05:55:19 PM
Hi,
I am marketing déveloper from algeria, enthusiat in crypto.
We are working actually with algerian government to approve using bitcoin . we are volunteer in this project because i believe in crypto .
If algerian goverment accept using bitcoin it means more transaction , more success for bitcoin community.
We have making big steps on projection, i think will ne approved on march 2021.
Our work will not stop just in algeria, if we have help we can make it all over the africain continent.
Support our project by donating bitcoin

I don't understand how you want to get a government in your land convinced to start making laws that will get citizens to use bitcoin when they are not convinced by themselves.[snip]
There is a chance for the group involved to convince the Algerian in other for them to support Bitcoin since some Arab countries have already welcome cryptocurrency while some are planning to create their national crypto and if the group are not positive that the government would accept their proposal they won't have taken the bold step in the first place.
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the difference between stablecoins? on: October 30, 2020, 03:12:50 PM
The cryptocurrency market is a broad setting which is what somehow trigger the huge numbers of stablecoins we have in the market but what makes each stablecoin different from each other is the concepts and potentials they have because there are some stable coins which were backed with precious metal while there are some which were backed with fiat currency. Moreover, some are centralized while some are decentralized but the perfect stablecoins are the precious metal back decentralized one that is honest about their vault storage.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 29, 2020, 09:38:46 PM
There is no guarantee that new president will be friends with Messi neither, nobody assumed this president would have such a big fight with Messi neither but it happened and now he is gone, nobod would want to work with a president who is having a fight with arguably one of the best players in history, so it was an obvious outcome when the fight happened but beforehand nobody expected that.

Maybe new president will have a fight with Messi as well? Maybe he won't be kind to what happened to this one and will want to prevent same thing happening to him so he could potentially lower Messi's influence over Barcelona or at least try to do that but may fail like this one too, who knows?

I do not see a guarantee Messi staying at the end of the season, he could be gone at any time.
There's no guarantee that the new president will be friendly with Messi and other club members. Mind you, Messi was not the only person that complains about Bartomeu's leadership Messi only makes his own criticism public cause he was the club captain and I am sure the person who will be the new president and his board won't want to make the same mistake done by Bartomeu.

592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz - Oct 31 on: October 29, 2020, 07:29:25 PM

I guess you're not aware that Floyd Mayweather Jr being Davis promoter and the level of Davis reputation in boxing either is what makes the fight to be the talk of the town. Mind you, Davis seems to be ready to make a new record in the PPV business.

Floyd Mayweather Jr has a gem in Davis I hope Mayweather can broker a fight with some of the tought fighters in the division like Ryan Garcia, Lopez to be the man you have to beat the man that's what they are saying in boxing and if Mayweather wants his boxer to be the best of the best like him he should go for the best in any division like he did to his career.
Davis and Ryan Garcia have exchanged words on social media and i think they will face each other next year if everything works out as planned but the thing that matters now is the upcoming fight for the two champions cause I hear that Ryan will face Luke Campbell in December

https://themaclife.com/featured-posts/gervonta-davis-on-floyd-mayweather-mentorship/

No doubt for me who will win this fight, and only question I have is how Gervonta Davis will defeat Santa Cruz, KO, TKO or decision Wink
Bet on KO or TKO does look nice for me, and I think that fight will not go to distance.
Floyd Mayweather trained with him before this fight and gave him all his knowledge.

Davis vs. Santa Cruz Press conference:

Gervonta Davis have being busy training, thirsty for fight ever since the pandemic issue and his boxing records which his KO percentage stands at 95.5% shows him to more a KO fellow so I will expect him to win this Saturday fight through KO at rounds 3.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BTC stay above $13,000 line from now on? on: October 29, 2020, 06:35:19 PM
Based on my analysis, it is possible that the Bitcoin price will continue to rise, because it is now at the price of $ 13,300.
And there is no sign that the price will go down again. But Bitcoin's price is likely to end the year at only $ 15,000. Because
I'm not sure Bitcoin can reach a price above $ 15,000 later this year. So my advice is to keep holdings your Bitcoin, do not
sell at current prices.
Short and mid term pretty unpredictable, no single clue where its going. Long term I'm confident it will go up big. Since market is volatile, anything could be happen. There is no sign of negativity, more people buy and hold. It give strong evidence Bitcoin's price is likely go upward.
MCobian, there is a sign that the price will go down again cause crypto is a volatility market and the only reason why the Bitcoin market hasn't experience any form of market manipulation is because network confirmation status which prevents arbitrage trader from executing their daily trade.
lifeOK, there's clue and if the PayPal hype still persists, the market will easily snap out of a downtrend.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 29, 2020, 02:29:34 PM
That's was a sad story for Juventus as they lost their today's match against Barcelona and I'm sure Ronaldo won't be happy about the game result.
Yeah, it is a sad day but it must be accepted. But something that I am surprised about the match is no shots on target for Juventus at that match. They totally made 10 shots and no one on target, how bad the performance of the strikers. Yep, Ronaldo mustn't be happy about that, but he cannot do something as he is quarantined and undergoing treatment after the positive test.
It understandable but Juventus not having on target was the reason I think Ronaldo would have make a difference if not for his health status.

Do you think Juventus would have won today's game if Ronaldo was not diagnosed with Covid 19?
No one knows mate. But I am pretty sure that at least they will have shot on target. Ronaldo is a player that knows very well about the Barca defense, so he must do effective efforts to try making goals.

Ronaldo knowing how to handle the Barcelona defense and the rivalry issue between him and Messi was the reason why I ask the question but if Ronaldo is in that match Juventus have a chance to score a single goal.

It's sad to see Ronaldo miss this game but even if he could play I'd still choose this bet. Maybe I could go over 2.5 goals because Barcelona also has 2 players missing in defense, Ter Stegen and Umtiti.

christiano ronaldo was tested 19 times on corona in the last days. and all 19 tests were positive . this is what the commentator just said on german sky tv.
tested 19 times. it's amazing . i would have loved to see messi and ronaldo today. but i think we will see both players in the next duel on december 8th

I lost again but this was normal as I'm in a losing streak that I don't even want to talk about it but meh , United won 5 0 so I can feel a little joy but overall , betting got me in depression man and I'm almost crying now but it's my fault I got into betting but a losing streak like this is not normal in my opinion.
That's gambling for you mate but I'm surprised how you lost today's game because the only match that seems not sure was the Juventus vs Barca since Juve was home.
597  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com |Instant BTC & ETH withdrawals | Live Games & Slots! |Rakeback |VIP on: October 28, 2020, 08:08:37 PM

Firstly, there is always a mature way to settle every issue rather than posting the above message.
Second, when a gambling site said the withdrawal is instant it means the withdrawal is treated instantly but may take time to send out by the team that issues the payment due to some official issue, and BTC/ETH transaction is experiencing huge traffic these days which i think you ought to know before now.

-snip- then the effective fee rate for all these transactions together is far lower than the 2,000 sats/vbyte fee OP has paid on the final transaction in the chain.
That's actually what happened, the consolidated fee rate of the transaction's parent-child chain is 90sat/vB  Smiley

I'm surprised that it even got mined during this time when "1mb-from-tip" didn't even reached below 100sat/vB.
Looks like spider's accelerator is legit, OP had requested to include his txn and the parent txns (previous posts of the quote) to the accelerator:
Maybe not the last time I checked all free tx acceleration I know are done through the rebroadcast of the transaction and a lot of stuck transactions with low tx fees seem to be confirmed yesterday but for the OP I think accelerating the parent transaction helps the situation.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BTC if just a few whales will buy all left supply? on: October 28, 2020, 06:38:20 PM
If few whales buy the remain Bitcoin to be mine then the decentralization of Bitcoin has no value but I believe every crypto enthusiast fully understands that they need to keep more BTC than spending it which is the reason why most crypto investors used Bitcoin as an asset than a currency.

I will advise people not to join this so called trading group because they are used to entice newbies to invest in their puppet coin and once the price is pump they quickly dump while the newbies are using as the prey.
