581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: December 01, 2021, 10:06:00 PM
Not long the same what happen before where it contribute to the fear of the holders and dump what they have to avoid any huge losses from the current market situation before and hopefully this will not happen this year or maybe next since if bear market will strike heavily in the market for sure we will struggle again to break the new ATH or maybe surpass it. But its good thing to see a little recovery right now so this one should people see so that they will not get panic and sell at loss for seeing a bad scenario in the market.
I do not know when a "huge bear season" will happen, it may happen today or it may happen tomorrow, all I know is that there is a good chance we could actually end up with something that will hurt the market eventually and that is definitely a risky business to get in right at this moment if you are a trader.

I get that long term is a good way to approach crypto and that is what I have been doing for a long time and it has been very profitable, but there are too many traders who get in and get out very quickly so I would suggest those people to be very careful during this period. Not that it will definitely drop, maybe it will go up, we have no idea what is going to happen but I know for sure that it is going to be not so risky at all, it will probably be a short term "loss" but if you hold it then in the long term you will profit no matter at what price you buy bitcoin.

Some traders are in here for short-term because they have other priorities to attend to like using some of their profits to their necessary expenses and such. And some who can really afford to hold long term, can actually see the benefit of holding and waiting as the value increase throughout the years. If you are a holder and has the necessity to sell, just sell it when you are in positive side. What I mean is, at least sell it not at a loss. Bitcoin will always have this up and down movement and so with other alts.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you trade your crypto on: November 30, 2021, 11:38:22 PM
There are some platforms that I am using to trade crypto.
But the most that I am ysing it everyday are:
1. Binance
2. Tokocrypto (local exchange in my country).

Besides, I also sometimes use other Platforms like Bitmart  Okex, Bithumb and others to trade sometimes, but not really often because only having small assets there.

Whatever exchanges  ensure that the exchanges have good reputation and also trust. And if they are available in yoir country, it will be easier enough.
Moreover, we also know what make us comfortable with the exchange features Ui, and others to consider.

I can understand that a lot are trading with binance these days because of its established reputation. What I do like with binance is they p2p trading that I can convert my crypto to my local fiat. No need to go to my local exchange to change my crypto to fiat. Also, I am pretty confident using binance because of its SAFU. Though, I can agree that from time to time we need to use other exchanges as some coins or tokens are not traded in binance.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat banks and the government. on: November 29, 2021, 11:15:42 PM
Each government has different jurisdiction and government protect against fraud which is the bank was under by the government and banks are regulated by the government, they should always obey the government's law and regulation either. There's no way to challenge the government, it is understood that you should obey once you are a citizen but if not, you can move into other countries that never care about people, which is very common to have crimes every day because there is no government that has protected people.
Exactly  banks have complex regulations not only under the governement of a country but also under the world banks. And world bank really has a big power to do many things.
Fiat banks are centralized systems.
And they will also not let decentralized bank systems to defeat.
We have seen in many countries where cryptocurrency and also decentralized finances are against the government because they cannot control them. Yes, that is why the government will still maintain fiat banks whatever happen because they can regulate and control the banks. And moreover right now there is issue of Cbdc that can make a country have more interests

And up until now, I don't think we need to aim for replacing fiat banks because they will always be the priority of most governments. This is how they can control their financial aspect because if they go into crypto, it will be chaotic. So centralized systems is really necessary for them to be organized. Fiat banks and government work together, and that's a fact. So just be glad crypto can co-exist with fiat banks and we can enjoy the benefits of both systems.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't want to kill ‘beautiful’ Ethereum on: November 29, 2021, 09:36:46 PM
Please note, no project is going to be an ethereum killer now or in the future. no single project can undermine the dominance of ethereum in the Dapps network. Solana, Binance Chain, Cardano, Polkadot will only remain alternative options. maybe now those projects look very good and popular, but all that will fade when ethereum 2.0 comes. Just look at today, while ethereum is still having trouble dealing with the Gas fee issue, they still don't waver. then what can those projects do when ethereum has been able to solve the problem?. nothing, so forget about ethereum killer speculation.
That kind of speculation is always going to be there, it is similar to what we see with bitcoin and people thinking the coin in which they are invested has a chance of surpassing it, I think that even if the chances of this were always small if a developer wanted to achieve this their best chance to achieve this was before 2017, now that bitcoin is being supported by institutional investors and even a country it is almost impossible to surpass it, and I think something similar is going to happen when ethereum 2.0 finally comes.

If nothing else, these new networks like SOL, ADA or DOT are very good alternatives if you are looking for cheaper networks to transact with. Right now, eth network is still expensive but people are still investing on eth because they believe eth will one day improve their gas fees, and besides the developers of eth are really doing their job to deliver something to the community. It is just that their gas fees are still quite expensive for small traders. This is the reason why cheaper networks are rising these days. But to surpass ETH, they have a lot to prove like more projects on board and others. And it will take time to achieve all the things done by ETH.
585  Economy / Economics / Re: New COVID strain may affect crypto valuation on: November 29, 2021, 08:42:20 PM
Yes, it is true, Bitcoin has started to come back again. This decline is a new test for Bitcoin. Bitcoin has withstood the strong effects of the Covid virus and today is still resilient in the face of the new virus. These are very strong tests of Bitcoin that have proven that it is much stronger than everyone thinks, so I think that we will witness a new strong bullish wave for Bitcoin, especially since there is news that Microstrategy bought 7000 Bitcoin today with an average price of 59,187$. This news is sure to have a very strong impact on the market and we will witness a new high soon.

That's a lot of bitcoin that they purchased. In this action, we can conclude that Microstrategy is a strong believer of bitcoin. Because if they don't believe its capability, they will not stake large sum of money to btc market. And this is a very good indicator that we will have upcoming good run in crypto market.
And in terms of the new covid strain, I am certain that scientists can easily address this situation. It is not the first time to receive a new covid strain. So I have the trust on them that they can easily find a way how to contain this, maybe by releasing statement on what vaccine is needed or if the previous covid vaccine can manage this new strain. Or better yet, scientists can come up with the new vaccine that may address a lot of covid variants.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mercatox is a SCAM on: November 28, 2021, 09:55:32 PM
Oh, I forgot to mention, there are no markets for DOGE.

So your funds in mercatox is in doge or in other alts? Because if not in doge, then why not try different alts that you know you can very well get out of mercatox. I haven't used this exchange because I am not comfortable using this exchange. So if doge is still in maintenance mode, which is a very long time, why not look for other alts where you can exchange with and get out your coins as soon as you can.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: China cracking down innovation on: November 28, 2021, 06:53:46 PM
China's economy will not shrink or even kill because china is one of the most developed countries in the world and they are far ahead in terms of economy. Despite political intervention the chinese people do not want political change it is not about military power it is about the economy according to the latest survey report of the international monetary fund china is now the number one country in the world in terms of economic power. As an economic superpower china's transition has caused a stir around the world today china is a model of prosperity and development for the backward countries.

If you only see from the outside it will look beautiful, but the fact is that the Chinese people are not as prosperous as many people say. even now many of them cannot survive in China and choose to seek work abroad.
I personally can't say anything about what is happening in Chinese society because I never know and there is rarely news about its citizens because it is possible that something is being covered up by the country because I rarely hear news about complaints or anything else. communicate with the public about the country.
but if you look more seriously what you say will be very true because there is no way they are not pressured by all forms of regulations that exist in china and recently there have been quite a few funny things that citizens have done to show workers' protest by doing tang ping which is a form of anxiety for their citizens

Their social media is highly censored and even searches are strictly monitored. This is why you can see a popular actress wiped out in their history. Good example is Zhao Wei, a popular actress that has been wiped out from their country's internet search. Now, it is no surprise if they will hold off some new innovations and not permit it to enter their regime. So do you really want to live in a country with topnotch economic power but your life is quite different from other normal people outside your region?
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin City on: November 28, 2021, 12:00:26 PM
I believe with El Salvador Bitcoin adoption other countries will discover the potentials that the economy stands to gain using Bitcoin at this early stage, El Salvador will by far be above other countries in terms of the reserve and profits from these Bitcoin investments.
Imagine Bitcoin reaching 6-figures and Nayib selling almost all. Would definitely pay off a huge sum of their national debt Grin
Bukele has already mentioned they have been accumulating more bitcoin during the dips.
So he has much more now than what was reported he had acquired upon the initial purchase some months ago.

There was another place in Europe that had this moniker before.
https://venturebeat.com/2018/07/21/how-tiny-liechtenstein-aims-to-become-a-big-player-in-blockchain
But were known as the Crypto Valley instead for their ease of regulatory lobbying.

We will see the effect of this initiative of El Salvador in at least couple of years. I hope there will be positive change in terms of their economic status. Usually, the cause of failure of most government initiatives is the persons/groups involved, when corruption and other self-interest overcomes the national interest. And it seems that Bukele is more on uplifting the standards of their economic status, so looking forward to see the contribution of crypto involvement in terms of improving their economy.
589  Economy / Economics / Re: Fuel prices hitting an eight year high on: November 27, 2021, 11:59:38 PM
Oil will always be an important issue in the world, various policies to be able to suppress oil prices are not effective because the use of oil continues to increase and cannot be controlled, many countries do not want to develop alternative energy because most oil companies are state-owned so it will be a loss if the state also develops alternative energy massively.

This is why the experience of oil users vary from all parts of the world. It depends on their government how they tackle this issue. But those oil-rich countries are enjoying the spotlight because there will always be consumers across the globe. And somehow, they can dictate their price because people need it.

There hasn't been any change in fuel prices in the past 1-2 weeks, here in Greece. However, I've observed a downward trend on Crude Oil, which is rapidly losing in value, closing at approximately $73/barrel. Are we coming to an end, regarding tremendously expensive fuel prices? Lets shall wait and see, in the near future.

https://www.investing.com/commodities/brent-oil

This situation may vary from country to country. But good for those who are residing in your area but in my area, the fuel prices are continuously increasing. Checking the fuel prices around the globe, I didn't expect that Venezuela has the lowest gasoline price here.

590  Economy / Economics / Re: 2.5 million US truckers say they'll quit over vaccine mandate on: November 27, 2021, 11:32:09 PM
I don’t really get how some people likes to reason things at times; someone commenting that a truck driver can’t give any other person Covid-19 because they spend most of their day alone in their truck? You’re forgetting that sometimes that they will have to eat, which means at some point they will visit a restaurant or so, and they will also get home to their family and all that.

So, it’s very much possible that they can come in contact with a victim and also transfer it to others. But, anyways, I think the government should also try to do things in a way that it would be easy and not favor them, but the people as well, making sure that things are on the balance.

In this world of pandemic, we will experience soon that everywhere we go, they will ask for our vaccinated cards. Just like in Singapore, they are only allowing fully vaccinated individuals to dine in but there are still some restrictions.

https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/dining-groups-five-vaccinated-same-household-restaurants-hawker-centres-2298466

So if you want to feel safe and not be discriminated, I believe, we need to follow the government mandate. But if you can stay at home forever, why not? But who can? This is why if you are a traveler, expect that everywhere you go, they will ask your covid vaccination card. We can't avoid this requirement as we move forward from this pandemic.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ✨✨✨ METASENS ✨✨✨ Build the universal amusement park on: November 27, 2021, 10:16:29 PM
What is the stage of development of this holosens project? Do you have private investors that are willing to fund this project to implementation? Because waiting for users to buy your token may not be an assurance to achieve your financial funding for this project. The quick video is nice but wondering if you can really implement this holosens project into reality.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano (ADA) coin hit $10 During 2021? on: November 27, 2021, 09:32:22 PM
We know that cardano has huge potential to perform but I think 10$ is little bit difficult for card a no to hit but not impossible. We know that cardano is moving 1.9$ to 3$ . cardano has huge investor if cardano pump to 4$ or 5$ it will face huge resistance because all of his invester will start to sell in order to get profit. So I think hitting 10$ will take much time.

Almost end of this year and the market currently is on the correction stage, we never know if bounce will take place
After this month or it will continue to fall. No one really can measure how high ADA can reach, but generally most of
the coin inside crypto are following bitcoin move.

I don't include everything since there are coin who gain hypes and interest even the market is experiencing bear.

With the current situation in the market, the target of $10 for this year may not happen for ADA. The possibility is like $2-3 before the end of this year. But $10 is possible in the coming years. What I am waiting is to see exchanges integrating ADA in their network options just like ERC20 for ETH, BSC. TRC20 for TRX or SOL (some are already including SOL). But right now, you can't see yet ADA as options in most exchanges. So if that will happen, high likely that they will also improve their price in the market.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KASPA (KAS) - CPU PoW - ghostDAG on: November 26, 2021, 11:47:53 PM
Is this project standalone or a fork from another project?
Who is behind the development?
What is the mining algorithm?

Standalone, created from scratch
You can see developers ID in the technical paper
algo is a variation of heavyhash

What is the total amount after the mainnet launch?

The monetary policy is being drawn up. Expect full details within a couple of weeks.

What exactly is your aim for this project. We have thousands of alts already, what niche do you expect to excel? It is hard to gain loyal supporters because there are much solid projects out there. What do you think will give you edge to attract the interest of some users?
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] UCF - Uma Chit Fund - Revolutionized Rotating Savings & Borrowings on: November 26, 2021, 10:38:17 PM

Yes the total token supply is 1,000,000,000 UCF but the team has decided to sell 5,000,000 in the private sale.
So, that's the team's decision, yes there must have been good planning behind all of this. What bothers me is the typo in the number writing, the wrong " , " sign.
The total supply is 1Bn. (Not sure if 1,000,000,000 is accurate)

So sorry for not being precise enough to explain what i mean, I mean in using it to displays these details,
"Private sale hard cap: $5,00,000
 Public sale soft cap: $1,00,000
 Public sale hard cap: $10,00,000"

Is it right if I turn it into this?
$500,000
$100,000
$1,000,000

Their positioning of the comma is quite not right. Anyway, after more than a month here in the forum, seems that this thread is not picking up. So can they raise those figures to continue their project or will this be another shelved project because they can't raise their funds? They need to be aggressive here to attract potential buyers, else, don't know if they can reach their targets here.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Race to $1000, which one would hit first? SOL or BNB? on: November 26, 2021, 09:58:57 PM
It's 22-2 votes now in favor of BNB.

For me, it's BNB that will hit $1000 first, SOL is overvalued at the moment that's why the price is high, but let's see how they will perform during the bear market as that's where we see the real strength of a coin. BNB has a lot of support, and in term of development, BNB is more advance with a huge community, so it will likely succeed first over SOL to hit that mark, and I'm confident with that.

I voted for BNB here as they have the edge over SOL. Though SOL is showing promising performance, but BNB got few steps ahead of them. Besides, BNB is backed by the top crypto exchange so their scope is wider than SOL now. BNB is about to reach $600, whereas, SOL in the $200 level. Once the market is in the bull run again, BNB can easily go up to 1k but SOL has a lot of things to tackle before they can even reach to $500.

597  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: November 26, 2021, 01:15:04 PM
Its a fact that whatever your opinions on cryptocurrencies  ( from fanatics to utter skeptics) - the fact that remains i that digital assets are becoming more and more important part of the payments world.
Visa actually is looking forward to give the opportunity to the users to increasingly take advantage of crypto cards to access the assets and convert themto traditional currencies for example for spending.
thats why the newest project on Mastercard is to start supporting cryptocurrencies directly on through their network.Actually its big step and its very thoughtful.
hope was useful thank you.
rejecting crypto today is a setback and visa is realizing that cryptocurrencies are the future and cannot be rejected. Fiat currencies will slowly be abandoned and we will see more and more people using cryptocurrencies to fulfill their life's transactions.

They are seeing that the adoption is growing stronger and if they will not jump on board, they will be left behind. But fiat currencies will still remain, a lot of them will patronize the digital counterpart but I don't think they will abandon fiat. Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and other financial institutions will be joining in crypto, but large population will still use their respective fiat currencies.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great coins to invest in? on: November 23, 2021, 09:57:26 PM
Among the many coins you have, I will only be interested in 3 from below, bro.
 Shib.
 ADA.
 Algo.
because this is the only thing I think is worth investing in for the long term.  But if it's for others, it's better if you look deeper, bro.
Are you kidding bro?,How can you choose shiba for long term investment,
Meme coins are certainly not the right choice for long-term investments, besides being unsafe, the risk of losing money is also very large,
obviously i don't see meme coins like shiba good long term

This is what I was thinking also. SHIB for long-term investment? Won't include this meme token in my portfolio as the hype in meme token may be over soon. But who knows? They can survive longer but it is hard to trust your hard-earned money for a token that has no proven use case up until now. Anyway, it is his own funds, so he is free to invest in whatever he thinks is best for him.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High ETH withdraw Fees, how to Solve on: November 21, 2021, 12:02:22 AM
I use Binance,  Kucoin etc crypto exchange for Trading, Binance use very often and I use Kucoin very rarely. But my main problem is high eth withdraw fees from Exchange to Personal wallet (MyEtherwallet). Have any crypto exchange with low withdraw fees?

That Ethereum blockchain problem - not exchanges' one. Ethereum blockchain is overwhelmed with Defi transactions and its getting worse... I hope they will solve this somehow in the nearest months.

Many users have been waiting for this, but sadly, up until now, eth network is still expensive to small traders. I don't know when will eth team will finally resolve this matter. But this is good for new networks as they can sell their services with cheaper fees than eth. This is why we are seeing several networks like BSC, SOL, ADA, DOT, AVAX to rise in their popularity, because users are switching to these networks.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a potential like the Ethereum. on: November 09, 2021, 09:30:53 PM
Hello,
Can anyone show me a list of some coins with a good potential like the Ethereum?

Thank you.
So far we can see in Coinmarketcap that many altcoins have good potential and also have ratings. Of the several Altcoins that are ranked in the top 10, it is often associated that these Altcoins will replace Ethereum someday, but I myself am not convinced by such an assumption even though some of these Coins have good networks such as BNB and Cardano.
except for stablecoins and memecoins which are still in rank 10 Cheesy
on the other hand, it seems that the current rank can no longer be used as a reference, especially now that there is a lot of hype about meme coins that can even push to the top in a short time.
it's true on the other hand there are some good coins there such as bnb, cardano, solana and even polygons but we also have to sort again if we want to make rank 10 as a reference

I can agree with you here. Being in the top 10 or 20 is not assurance anymore that the coin has guaranteed future. With the rise of meme coins, it is hard to trust this kind of project because their lifespan may not be long. So yes, better venture the solid projects with very good technology and can attract actual users. The lifeblood of the project is the users that will utilize their network.
