Remember "The Dao" was overhyped and everyone bought in. Maybe Wings might be underhyped which is good for ROI.
The Dao is a nightmare for most of the people but the Wings has totally different approach so there is chance for solid growth. No doubt it will be profitable for investors as I see 7x in first attempt. While the project definitely seems interesting concept i think in terms of price it will be trading below ICO after launch, at least for some time. That is a case with all recent ICO No matter how Good they are. Many people including me didnt know that our coins will be locked till May till earliest i was hoping we will get them in january and we would prefer to be in BTC now which might grow exponentially. The first ones to sell after launch will win, the rest will have to wait till the price recovers. It is not the case with Iconomi, so we can still hope it wont happen to Wings either. P.S. Jesus, lately when I try to read new threads, there is always some part of people spreading negativity and FUD. As if any new project in crypto is bad and only old ones are good. That been said, only btc could exist and maybe eth and two or three more. Rather constantly critisizing one should consider how can he/she help and get involved  |

i agree!!! i bet most of the Lambo posters are driving Dacias and Fiats, or they not even have drivers license... its nothing wrong to have Dacia, cannot say the same for Fiat  . one question for those that are looking closely to incx. so we have btc constant rise and now it looks eth is on a rise too. but btc sooner or later will hit a top of the rise and then it will consolidate. is icnx flexible enough to absorbe that future btc fall with other coins' rise in order not to see too great fall of value in the index?
When btc drops alts go up. yes i know but share of btc in the index is quite big + do you think alt rise can compensate for btc drop 1:1?  It looks like you got something wrong there. Bitcoin is only 15% of ICNX. In total we got 11 different currencies and if just one goes down I think there should be no problem at all, because in the meantime 10 others could go up. That's why they invest in so many different currencies to back each other up if one is struggling. Yes I am not complitely sure thats why I asked. Hi rgornik, I invest in coins/tokens no matter what, the only condition is them to have strong fundamentals (pure shitcoins are only traded in extreme fund, and even with that, they are the most solid shitcoins outthere, I will make a writting explaining the classification of assets/coins). It's also a possibility to invest in some ICO if there's a good opportunity to profit, but mostly all will be based in medium-long term trading of everything you see listed in Poloniex and Bittrex. About investments, I will say it another time. You CAN'T invest in our hedge funds until there's a secure, legal and easy way to do so. Most surely ICONOMI will be the plattform used, and of course there you'll can have all proofs of investments and everything fully transparent. . Last thing I want is to take and store money from other people and get into trouble. All what I can say during these months is: sit down, relax, watch, learn and join the Blue Magic community, I'm sure you will like it. We may be total noobs in business (I'm just 21), but I can tell you that I know how to trade, and I'm a good guy. I think that's enough to make this project succed.  Thanks for answers. I understood we will have to wait but its nice to see that you are already posting weekly "taughts" on index developments. BTW I dont care about age. For me results are the most important and young can bring some freshness into established investing. OK, it seems Rootstock alpha is scheduled for May and Wings token release depends on Rootstock release date. So if Rootstock will not be delayed can we expect our Wings tokens in May or is alpha not enough and we need to wait for full Rootstock release? I would really hate having my BTC locked for too long.
Long term planners for wings don't even mind if it takes a year to release . From the beginning, wings would be on multichain platform with ROOTSTOCK EVM as its core. BTW, people from RSK are doing a hell of great job. Securing its code and testing it thoroughly. WINGS platform will be a standard in crowdfunding in years to come . It must be rock solid from its foundation. is this gonna somehow affect first ICO partners were planning to launch with your platform? This is why I didn't participate in this ICO. Pegging an arbitrary value per TIME rather than letting the market set the value is a red flag. There is nothing to base this valuation on other than speculation. What is the total amount of TIME which will be available? The total amount of TIME that will be available is determined by the amount purchased in the crowd-sale. If the sale ended today less than 445.000 total TIME would exist. Thank you for your interest. That is why I think price is not "way too high". Less money collected means less tokens. I dont know if it was answered already. But if you do not collect max. amount then some tokens will not be released. Does that leave an open door for new ICO (capital increase) in the future if you will run out of funds for further development? |

Some "people" dumped several hundred thousand of ICN before the ICNX release date ) (which supposed to be 28 Dec) Now use your common sense! If you know the release date ( which means "price growing" ) no one will sell such a huge amount .. Those people knew about the postpone, they got the information from inside! Unfortunately those actions are unfair for all of us, ICN investors. Did anybody think of the possibility that Iconomi had contact with a few of their biggest investors, the investors who had access to the platform. The investors said "hey I don't really like the way this feature works, this is buggy, that doesn't work etc". And then Iconomi realized they had to postpone release because of those bugs etc. Big investors aren't dumb. They could see it coming without Iconomi telling them anything. Stop spreading bullshit conspiracy theories of inside information.
There are no excuses investors deserve to be better informed because if Iconomi has more 10000000 dollars is thanks to us investors, do not forget that. True that. But delay is delay, I don't think there is good way to tell investors that there will be delay. Yes complitely agree. But communication should really be changed.
