581  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and AI will improve the world economy on: May 08, 2018, 05:00:41 AM
AI will improve the world economy naturally, we just need to be careful with where all the profits go.  Currently in the US the top 1% owns something near 50% of all the wealth in the country, and the bottom 50% of people don't even own 10% of the wealth.  Something needs to be done about that disparity eventually, as people wont stand for it forever.  AI will expedite the issue as there will be fewer and fewer jobs that pay well enough.  Once the profits from such technologies are spread throughout society we'll truly enter a golden age.  What average people will do when we finally get there is anyone's guess, though.
Artificial intelligence is only going to make the difference even greater, we are seeing that there are many jobs are being replaced by my chains, and when you take into account that you cannot work as hard or as fast as a computer then you lose your job and for a person is very difficult to learn new skills and to become marketable again and that creates an even bigger difference in the wealth.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: May 05, 2018, 03:56:12 AM
That is completely correct but there are very few people that are able to hold for the long term when they are losing money, fortunately for me I am not in that situation, while I do not have a lot of bitcoin the bitcoin that I bought was when it was relatively cheap compared to the current prices so even with all what has happened I still got huge profits so I do not care that much about the movements of the price.
583  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin so down on: May 05, 2018, 03:51:06 AM
Why Bitcoin came so low in 2018 january to march
All the guess people were saying that Bitcoin would touch 25k$ but why did not it happen ?
If everyone was saying that bitcoin will touch a price and it didn't happen then that just means that people were wrong, you need to understand that expectations for something to happen are completely different to what will actually happen, once you understand the difference you become a better trader and investor since you will not deceive yourself with your own predictions.
584  Economy / Speculation / Re: is this right time to invest in BITCOIN..? on: May 05, 2018, 03:44:48 AM
The price of Bitcoin growing consistently from 2009 sum of people are very confuse to see the price of BTC that what is the right time to invest.
According to my opinion at this time price of Bitcoin in low position so you can invest.
What you think.
It could be argued that it is always the right time to buy bitcoin, because even those that bought close to the all time high are still going to get profits if they hold their coins, but if they do not have faith in bitcoin and then they sell their coins then they are going to get losses, so before buying bitcoin ask yourself if you're willing to hold no matter what.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: May 05, 2018, 03:35:57 AM
What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?
I agree that they should let you now that you need to go through this kind of policies to get your tokens but at the same time we are in a period of transition, before you did not needed to go through that process and now that the regulations have changed they are forcing you to do it, so if a bounty campaign started and there were not such regulations and then there was the change that require you to identify yourself I think we cannot blame developers for that, but from now on if they know from the very beginning that they want that you identify yourself then it will be very unethical to not tell their participants from the very beginning.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: A government can create a cryptocurrency ? on: May 02, 2018, 03:43:56 AM
Banks in some countries are studying their digital encrypted money!

I think I'm going to buy some big country's digital encryption currency, although these digital cryptographic currencies are not decentralized.

But it could be profitable, because the digital cryptocurrencies of these great powers have credit guarantees!
Why do you think it is going to be profitable to invest in cryptocurrencies created by governments? Those coins are not going to have a limit to the amount of coins that they can print, it is going to be very similar to the fiat that they create, fiat that loses its value by inflation, if anything if you invest in those coins you are going to lose money so if that scenario comes to happen do not invest in those coins.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Easy x5 x10 on: May 02, 2018, 03:35:09 AM
It's time for the market to recover.Everything will increase 5 times when the market recovers. All I want now is this.I will dance when the market improves.
Just because the market has been going down for some time that doesn't mean that is going to recover, even if that was the case you need to remember that the market is irrational and it's not going to follow our desires or even our predictions even if they are correct, besides it is very unlikely that everything is going to increase five times in value, some coins are going to go higher and some coins will not go up that much.
588  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good buying price for bitcoin? on: May 02, 2018, 03:15:27 AM
When it comes to deciding if the price for bitcoin is good or not you should always look into your own wallet. IF you have money to invest and IF you believe in bitcoin then you believe that BTC will gain in value over time anyway. So under those cirumstances its always a good price. Remember to not bind scared money in bitcoin. My few cents
Things are not so easy you cannot just look at your wallet and say well I have some money so I will invest in bitcoin, you need to take a look at the market and see if the price at which bitcoin is currently trading is good enough for you, that is the case right now but that doesn't always happen you just need to look at what happened in the previous months in November and especially in December of the previous year.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: April 29, 2018, 03:17:04 AM
It was a difficult time for everyone, there are some project that I have investment in that lost 80% of its value, then I just need to find strength in other areas, I have learnt a great lesson is what  happens recently thee impotance of planing for the difficult period
People need to learn that in cryptocurrencies crashes like the ones we are seeing are going to be part of our lives as investors, so you need to prepare yourself financially and mentally to endure it, I'm not going to deny that I was nervous when I saw the price going down so abruptly but at the same time I knew that this was coming, I knew that it was going to be big and I also knew that we will recover.
590  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as savings, emergency needs possible? on: April 29, 2018, 03:09:43 AM
I say that making bitcoin to deal with emergency needs is certainly wrong, if we do then we never get a good price and look like panic. Good financial management is important before investing bitcoin.
This is another interesting point, if you use bitcoin as a an emergency fund and unfortunately you need to use it, what it is going to happen if in that point in time the price of bitcoin is going down? You are going to lose money, so it is better to maintain an emergency fund in fiat and only depend on bitcoin if the emergency is so big that you have no other option but to use it.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin cash (BCH) is a poor idea. on: April 29, 2018, 01:57:38 AM
The main idea behind BCH is that they are going to allow as many transactions as possible to allow micro-transactions to take place for a low fee.   They use ideas like Moores Law that says hard disk space can increase to cover all transactions forever (although there is no proof). The coin will become centralized over time possibly running on maybe 1000 servers or less.

The reason why it is a poor idea is it will become too costly to do spinoffs.  Bitcoin has already had 2 code changing ideas, the lightning network and  segwit.  Imagine over time, leaders of BCH are going to come up with more ideas.  But, unlike spinoffs, you are going to be locked into the BCH system because it will be too costly and complicated to move.

This may turn out to be true, but from an economic perspective, surely it's still better for them to try it out and then know for sure, rather than just making an assumption?  If it transpires that on-chain scaling isn't viable due to centralisation, at least we'll then have the evidence to demonstrate it as fact.  In this regard, I tend to view BCH as a "testnet-after-the-fact".  More of a "what if" than an actual contender for market dominance.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "spinoffs", but it doesn't look as though they're having trouble making changes to the BCH codebase, as they're about to increase their maximum blocksize again, currently scheduled for 15th May 2018.  The lack of SegWit and Lightning in BCH isn't due to cost or complication, it's more of an ideological difference.  BCH supporters simply don't approve of those particular ideas.  They forked away because they have a different vision of how this should work.  If it does emerge their economic vision proves to be a mistake, it's their loss.  Either way, it's all useful (and interesting) data.
I agree with this even if I do not like bitcoin cash and I think the core developers are right in their vision anyone has the right to fork the code and make changes to bitcoin if they think that is going to improve the network, then all becomes a matter of which one is the superior product if the ones that created bitcoin cash are right we will find out in the next 5 or 10 years maybe less, but if the core developers are right we will find out in the same amount of time, either way we win since we get a stronger bitcoin as a result.
592  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: April 29, 2018, 01:38:55 AM
Usually they recommend you to diversify your investment, so you avoid losses.

But as a real approach, having $1.5k, would you invest in how many cryptocurrencies ?

What if I invest little by little, only in Bitcoin, would that work as well ?
Diversifying your investments makes sense when you are investing a huge amount of money, so the question is, is it 1500 a lot of money for you? If it is then you need to diversify your investments but if that is not really a lot of money for you then investing only in bitcoin is not a bad idea at all, even investing only in bitcoin at the beginning even if your plan is to diversify eventually is not a bad move at all.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: April 25, 2018, 10:46:40 PM
I have read many posts of people saying they are sorry to have missed Bitcoin. But I wonder if they realise that there have been more than 20 trains out there that could have made them millionaires.

They have managed to miss at least all these, some of them as recent as July last year. It is not that you missed Bitcoin, is that you (and I) just missed many many others Roll Eyes

NXT          2013-09-28            +1084215%
IOTA         2015-11-25            +418179%
Neo           2015-10-01           +354482%
Ethereum   2014-07-22           +265772%

And the recent ones...
Populous      2017-06-24          +12181%
QTUM          2017-03-12           +10091%

Be honest to yourself... you did have a chance!
You are correct and it's our fault by not being attentive to the rest of the market, it is true that bitcoin can give to you incredible profits but it is not the only coin out there we need to remember that there are thousands of coins and while many fail there are also many that are able to give to you huge profits if you are willing to invest and take a risk when the coin is very young.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 10x coin? on: April 25, 2018, 10:38:39 PM
If  take of all altcoins then of course I would choose the Stratis, NEO, Refereum, Fusion. Very promising coins.

Yeah, NEO also in my bag. But i i will learn about stratis and fushion. Besides NEO, Waves is in my bag. waves and Neo born in2016. I think waves is undervalued now.  What do you think about waves?
Waves is one of the best coins out there, and I think it is going to do very well in the next years the real question is how well it is going to perform? I cannot know if it is going to have a 10 time increase in the market cap in a short timeframe but the possibility is there, and you could do a lot worse than investing more of your capital in such a good coin.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: Earnings without risks for beginners on: April 25, 2018, 10:30:24 PM
If you wan't to earn here at crypto world without a risk,  better join bounty campaigns and airdrops for you to play safe and earn.
Things are never that easy, bounty campaigns can be used to get some tokens but you do not know if those tokens are going to be valuable in the future, in fact taking into account that most of the new projects fail in the first year it is very likely that you are wasting your time trying to collect bounties, I know that no one likes to hear bad news but that is the truth.
596  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and AI will improve the world economy on: April 25, 2018, 10:14:21 PM
Since the inception of the blockchain with Bitcoin in 2009, there has been a huge interest from governments, and central banks alike to design their own centralized digital fiat currency for their benefit. Given the security benefits and efficiencies that the blockchain provides, it would be used well in conjunction with AI technology, to transform the global economy in ways we've never thought possible.

As such, there could be a future where everything is managed by AI and the blockchain would serve as the security and settlement layer for any kind of transaction. A one world currency might become a reality where it is backed by all the banks and governments alike. If this happens, then true autonomy would become established enabling everyday devices to operate on their own and "monetize" themselves via the use of a single unified global currency which operates on a blockchain.

Therefore, both the blockchain and AI will have a huge impact in our world economy, and every aspect of our lives as we know it. Of course, this might take quite a few years to happen, but the benefits provided by such technologies would be too hard to ignore.

What are your thoughts about this? Will both Blockchain and AI improve the world's economy?  Huh
The blockchain is going to improve the world economy I have no doubt about it but when it comes to artificial intelligence I am not so sure, yes it is going to improve the manufacturing of products and services but it is also going to leave a lot of people without their jobs, and without jobs it is going to be impossible for the manufacturers of those products to sell their merchandise.
597  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to bitcoin in 2018? on: April 25, 2018, 10:06:52 PM
Bitcoin has been hot, but many bosses think it is a big bubble. If you want to ask how the red currency will fare in 2018, some of the weaker bitcoin institutions think it won't be long, and prices will fall in 2018. The famously bold bank of Denmark has made a startling prediction: it will be back in its original form after it has shot up to $60,000, falling back to $1,000.

Deutsche bank has previously said the bitcoin crash would be one of the major risks of 2018. Ahead of the launch of bitcoin futures, deutsche bank warned that the bitcoin boom could pose a serious threat to the broader market in 2018.
Well the predictions are all over the place, some are predicting that the price of bitcoin will reach incredible prices while some other predict that the price is going to crash personally I really think that the price of bitcoin is not going to do either of those things and we are going to remain close to the current price for some time probably the whole year.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bulls are back !!!!!!!Are you ready guys??? on: April 24, 2018, 11:07:46 PM
I am ready for bull run to launch because I didn't dump single altcoin for months and months. Anyways I am still doubtful, are we experiencing recovery from dump or just newer bull markets. Hard to answer for me.
Everyone is ready for a another bull run, we all want the price to go up that is not the question, the question is if the market is ready, and I have my doubts that the market is ready right now, there are simply too many bad news, too many regulations and not enough money and when I think about it the possibility of a bull run seems to be low.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: MEW DNS COMPROMISED, OVER 234 THOUSAND ETHER STOLEN on: April 24, 2018, 11:04:06 PM
MyEtherWallet DNS servers have been compromised leading to a phishing redirect over the past several hours. This is confirmed by MyEtherWallet on Twitter. A staff member of BLUE has dug through the phishing and discovered an address that leads to the following code line "// eth_recipient='0x06A85356DCb5b307096726FB86A78c59D38e08ee'; //!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" This is believed to be copied code from the legit website. AVOID MYETHERWALLET.

What terrible news, imagine your surprise if you're the one losing money, I have not used that website in some time probably some months but I'm still going to check just in case if my coins are fine and if possible from now on I will look for alternatives because hackers are doing everything they can to get access to that website and steal our coins.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO SCAM worth $660 Million on: April 24, 2018, 10:41:51 PM

How is that even possible..

A team of 7 behind the Pincoin Token & iFan just did what seems impossible. Through their private & public sale, they have raised an approximate of $660 million from around 32,000 investors, and then ran away.  Shocked

What do you think will happen now to ICO's and cryptos in general? People will now be afraid to invest, and the legitimate projects will be left behind with nothing...

2) https://www.coindesk.com/vietnam-investigates-ico-fraud-660-million-losses-reported/

How shameful the team is. Are they that greedy to do such things to those people who believe in them who believe that their project will be successful. That's why most of the investors must of us hardly trust ICO even me, even though I participated a lot of bounties only I'm still worried that my work and efforts will be dump because of scam ICO.
This is what many developers of icos do not really understand they think that people are forever going to invest in their projects no matter how unreasonable are their demands personally I'm seeing that it is getting harder for them not only because of the laws but because people are getting a lot more cynical about investing in icos, so it's likely that in the future the failure rate of icos is going to increase.
