I peeled my Titan this week. I will go grab some pics and see if I can post them.
What happened to your Titan?

On another note, any chance you would add some Moonbits to your list @teeGUMES ?

Love this thread, amazing effort. If you want I can peel one and send some high quality pics. Or just send you the sweeped chip.
If you prefer to peel your self, can also send you a chip for just the funding + shipping price, let me know. Smiley
582  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BRC-20 needs to be removed on: May 11, 2023, 12:18:35 PM
What uprises me about this mess is the quetion, how long can it be "profitable" / sustainable to send bloated data-transactions to the bitcoin network?
I doubt there are actually too many players involved in creating these. When the hype (if there ever was much of one) is over and everyone sits on their BRC-20 shit-token-pseudo-art, there will not be much incentives left to create these bloating transactions. Slowly but surely I wold expect to see less transaction stuck in mempool over the next few weeks until fees and blocks are at a normal level again.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: May 11, 2023, 09:56:20 AM

Recently I have had numerous reunions with Uncles from my extended family. Some of them are successful businessmen for decades. They built their business from nothing and are living quite a comfortable life now. We had long conversations about life in general, including their key to success. I knew very well that they have been hard workers ever since I had a memory so I would contribute their success to endless efforts. However, one thing they had mentioned in common was luck. They believe pure luck made them meet and grasp those opportunities and become successful rather than their smartness and efforts. I've thought about this before and couldn't agree with this more. They've set very good examples to me, including my father, and now I tend to focus more on work itself consistently and let luck or fate takes the rest.

Pinpointing success to luck is an easy out - if you prefer to not take responsibility.
What can be considered luck in one instance, meeting the right person to work with, finding the right business niche at the right time, having the right skill for the job at the right time etc, cannot be attributed to luck if it keeps reoccuring.
If you put yourself in a position to connect to many people in a similar group of interest, if you stay focused on what you want to achive and keep looking out for the right opportunities and at the same time educate yourself about the relevant topics you will "attract luck" -> you kind of create a high probability chance to experience the right situations and connect with the right people and opportunities.
If you just lay back and spend your time with other things than those relevant to what you seek to achive, "business-success-luck" will probably not be part of your usual experience.

If you extend your offer to also trade for some other collectibles, shoot me pm.
Which part of the world are you shipping from?
And the coin is loaded with 0.0021 BTC I assume, can you provide the address (via pm if you prefer)?

Wallet of Satoshi launches Lightning Point of Sale feature

Seems nice feature and very handy.
https://stacker.news/items/176409
https://twitter.com/walletofsatoshi/status/1655451096117284867

That's a pretty sexy feature. What's up with that NFC transaction, never seen something like that for lightning before.
Does it immediatelly charge the amount or is there still confirmation required from the one sending the sats?

On a sidenote, I noticed you still got positive trust for yogg, maybe it's about time to remove it?  Shocked Cry

i know and i wanted to 'delete/remove' it back then only i can't find an option with which i can do that... Tongue
maybe you have an idea?

When you click on a profile's trust rating, there is a tiny (Delete) button/link at the end of each submitted trust feedback - ofc only the ones that are coming from your account.
587  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Stack's Bowers June 14 Auction on: May 10, 2023, 02:23:58 PM
Some rarities have come out of hiding for this one!  Grin
Note there are five pages of items, you can select pages at the top of the screen.

https://auctions.stacksbowers.com/auctions/3-134QG6/june-2023-auction-session-4-physical-cryptocurrency-lots-4001-4168

Omg, there are a ton of amazing and never seen before coins (at stack's bowers) up for auction. My personal favourite, the CI Sailing the Seas (yarr) is also there - excited to see for how much these will go for.
Thanks for sharing!

I assume whoever puts their stuff up for auction wants to stay anonymous? If not, would love to hear how getting your item(s) listed with them worked for you.
588  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Free A4-print incl shipping for any Historiy-20-1 (daemon design) coldkey holder on: May 10, 2023, 01:43:55 PM

That being said, I never heard back from cygan and also didn't get a response to an inquiry DM. It's been way over two months now and I didn't check-up any further, kind of trying to put that ck-disaster behind me.

sorry that i didn't give you or the eu-victims any feedback... i have totally forgotten about it Tongue
of course i got the small cards from Kryptowerk and of course they will be sent to the respective users like haloxon.
but since i am currently in the stress of moving, i would like to postpone all this until next month.

Glad to hear from you. As long as everybody can get their cards I am happy. Moving can be quite stressful, hope you get through it without any hickups.

589  Economy / Collectibles / Re: What should I ask Chat GPT about Crypto Collectibles? on: May 10, 2023, 01:17:04 PM
I would never use it, anything you give it, anything you tell it will be stored and it will be stored who asked it - well to however much information you give it. People need to think for themselves - FUCK this AI SHIT.
Then again, it's the same as with any of big corp data-kraken search engines, most and formost google. A huge black-hole for personal data. With the difference that the usage of such is even more obfuscated than before.
I understand your sentiment, but there's just no way around AI-based anything (broadly speaking - an individual can ofc stay away from it; it will get increasingly difficult though, similar as if you were to try to live life without a smartphone these days).
(Close to) any data based service will make some kind of use of LLM or similar AI-models within the next months and years.
Hard to tell how these things and its predecessors will impact our world in 5 or even 10 years from now - but it'll most probably be massive.

Personally I find it a fascinating, scary and extremely complex topic that is already changing our world with a possibly even stronger impact than the internet has had.

Okay, enough OT talk, regarding tread93s question: The data chatGPT is based on is missing the latest stuff. It's not searching the current state of the internet, instead it's taking its info from a snapshot taken a while ago, so you can expect some outdated information as soon as you are looking for recent releases.
About the OG collectibles though you will probably find decent info. However I'd recommend checking with some of the real crypto-collectible-historians here in the forum instead.
590  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The Lightning Network FAQ on: May 09, 2023, 10:31:30 AM
BlueWallet is discontinuing its service, so I was wondering which of the mentioned LN wallets in OP would be the best to move funds to:
I only know and tried these two. Working very well. What I like about Breez is that it does have 'developer commands', so it gives me the peace of mind that in a worst-case scenario, I could use regular old LND commands to (force) close any open channels and send myself the resulting on-chain funds.

Just to be clear, I have never actually needed it on any of these wallets, but it's still nice to have.

BlueWallet is discontinuing which service?
They offered a hosted / online Lightning wallet in their Bitcoin wallet app.
Thanks for the input. Command line options (breez) sound good as a nice last resort. I just installed and don't get any connection, so it's neither allowing me to generate a lightning invoice, nor an on-chain address.
Especiall the latter seems very weird to me - the error notification says "Not able to obtain Bitcoin address from Breez-Server. Please check your Internet-connection". - Are they storing the keys online, or why would you need a connection to show an onchain public address?

Trying out blixt now. Seems to be still WIP but seems to be the only open-source option.
UPDATE: Installed Phoenix now, since blixt doesn't have offline-watchtower (yet).
When I try to send from bluewallet to Phoenix I get an error (independant from the amount I try to send) "API error: Payment failed. Does the receiver have enough inbound capacity? (code 10)
"

UPDATE 2: After restarting Phoenix and bluewallet a few times and trying several different payment sizes, it finally worked.

Oh and on another note: I am not familiar with Lightning too much, how would developer commands protect you in a worst-case scenario?

BlueWallet has postponed its lightning node closing schedule to May 31, as its official Twitter account announced.

We've changed the sunset date of our lightning node to the 31st of May.

One more month to take action if you still haven't, please do as soon as possible.
Here is the official statement about them discontinuing with their Lightning node, Lndhub.io.
https://bluewallet.io/sunsetting-lndhub/

I want to encourage anyone switching to a different LN wallet to check out the suggested alternatives here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5158920.0
And leave some feedback on your experience with your new choice: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5158920.msg62216848#msg62216848

Thanks in advance.

Read their statement here: https://bluewallet.io/sunsetting-lndhub/

Even they recommend to use either phoenix or breez wallet.

How does your service relate to crypto - can you fund your cards with crypto payments?

Quote
Does my credit rating matter?

No, you can create your account and onboard quickly.
Are these really credit cards or debit cards? If credit, how do you not have any check-up-on credit scores?
595  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-03-23]Thailand Bans Use of Cryptocurrencies as a Method of Payment on: May 09, 2023, 02:55:20 AM
The election is conducted next weekend.
Still curious if there are any forum members from Thailand around with an insight of what is actually going on regarding crypto legislation and how things may look after the elections have taken place.

Could be a great step in the right direction. Wonder if this also includes a channel that allows deposits?

Made me read up on current status of the lightning network a bit. It's not in a state I was expecting after so many years after release now. Need to do some more research, though, that's just the first few news that popped up.
598  Economy / Goods / Re: Eyes of Bitcoin on: May 08, 2023, 09:43:07 AM
That's some impressive effort!
The preview of the frame does indeed make it look even better.
Good luck with your sale, I hope you will find an offer that's appreciative of all the work you put in there.
599  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Old Indian Coins on: May 08, 2023, 09:31:47 AM
Are these rare coins or just regular but out-of-order coins? Any precious metal components?
If you show some pics and some background you may have a better chance of creating some interest.

06 - Kryptowerk
