5801  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Steam CSGO case keys 0.0084 btc / each on: February 18, 2015, 05:22:29 PM
Any key sold below the market rate could be a result of carding. Buyer beware.
Market rate for Phoenix keys 2.7 now
Ingame only 2.49 so carding ?

You got the market prices right. I can't be sure if those keys are bought with stolen credit cards but it's a possibility. OP and all those shady sellers will have to provide us with a legit explanation on where and how they acquire the keys. Claiming that the keys are 'legit' and avoiding every other question won't do.

You know what valve does to counter those keys bought with stolen CCs? They remove them from your inventory, remove credit from your account and discard any games bought with credit originating from fraudulent activities. Just lookup over steam community forums and you'll find horror stories all over the place. It's sad that bitcointalk is becoming a place for carders to profit from. I'd advise people to stay away from any seller that comes out of nowhere and has an attitude.

I sell only STEAM games sorry.

But, 30 days escrow?seriously?haha, what about one year?
The escrow time makes a lot of sense. Why? It's enough time for Steam to recognize carded credit cards and reverse the purchases made by it.

This is what you want to avoid.

5803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / WTF is Rimbit? on: February 17, 2015, 02:27:25 PM
You probably haven't heard about it yet because, as the dev said in an interview:

"The developer also decided to stay away from Bitcointalk Forums, since they might get a lot of drama from script kiddies and trolls that wouldn’t help Rimbit at all," So let's do him a favor and talk about his coin here.

Apparently it's an altcoin that gathered 110,604 USD from an indiegogo campaign. Why all this money? To launch the coin. Oh and guess what the reward perks were in the campaign... RIMBIT COINS.

Trolls, speculators, suspicious people, altcoin shills as well as everyone else, you're all invited to jump abroad this thread while we're on a quest to find out more about what's so special about this coin.

What makes THIS more special that any other cryptocurrency?

Were funders from indiegogo conned from an ICO?

Speculative tools you might need along the way:

5805  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Anita Sarkeesian - Feminist Frequency - Donating in Bitcoin on: February 16, 2015, 12:34:26 AM
If your post was deleted it was probably because it didn't comply with some rule. You should post in the meta board about it. And honestly, if you feel like everything you say falls on deaf ears, you should reconsider the way you approach some topics. Everyone agrees that there are not many women in the bitcoin space as it's a fact, but the way you talk about it makes people dislike you and totally miss the point.

Just to give you an example of how ridiculous you are at times: While you claim that bitcoin is a boys club you go around asking people if they'd like to donate to Anita Sarkeesian.

How wouldn't that fall on deaf ears?

Would you go to a forum dominated by black Americans and complain to them that they don't take you seriously when talking about some important social issue after saying that they live in coontown? I guess that you wouldn't. However, you don't realize that what you're doing here is something equivalent.
5806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers steal 300-900 million! on: February 15, 2015, 02:00:15 PM

There are plenty of solutions which are as secure or more so than bank security for bitcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=858604.0

Still, are they as accessible to the average user as registering a bank account and depositing?
5807  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 28 Reasons I’m DONE Talking To Most Of My Conservative Friends And Family Member on: February 15, 2015, 05:53:34 AM
I don't care what someone's beliefs are... But being blinded by an ideology at a level that they've become unable to communicate is just sad.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and belief (sometimes sadly), the only thing that makes it an issue is interpretation
and throwing their opinion in other peoples faces, those people are all around us and are more anoying than game requests on facebook.
It seams that op is going through crisis of some sort, but whatever the reason, sometimes bad things realy open your eyes.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion indeed. But if a belief is so deeply rooted into someone's head that it won't let him communicate with friends and family it's him that has the problem.

I don't see how this could even remotely be good news for bitcoin. Banks cover such losses so their costumes lose nothing. It's ridiculously easy for a newbie to lose his bitcoins if he doesn't take proper steps to secure his wallet. I've been a bitcoin supporter for two years, I've yet to see a way that makes 'bank grade' security for storing bitcoin accessible to the average user.
5810  Economy / Speculation / Re: $260 by the end of the week ? Heard it here first on: February 15, 2015, 05:27:44 AM
That's not impossible but really that volume can't be sustained forever. We'll have to see what happens when it's down again.
5811  Economy / Speculation / Re: i wish next bubble on: February 15, 2015, 05:20:24 AM
Holy shit the volume is at $50m+ atm. That's like 7.5 willybot buy orders.

Can I just buy a bunch from Cryptsy and resell it back to you for 3$/coin?

It's outdated already. So why bother?
5817  Other / Meta / Is there anyone who can delete trust ratings? on: February 12, 2015, 07:08:02 PM
I just had a look at my ratings and noticed someone used them to advertise. Posted an email address along with an irrelevant message. I was thinking that this could be exploitable since (as fars as I know) mods don't have access to edit or remove trust ratings.
5818  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for native English writers | ~0.5 BTC/day on: February 11, 2015, 10:04:11 PM

I know that bitcoininformation was chatting with Bob. Maybe he can give us a hint if Bob is alright.
5820  Other / Meta / PSA: DON'T use 'refund services'! MODS should ban this on: February 11, 2015, 05:41:12 PM
Not much to add really, you can find such topics in the services board at the moment. Just be aware that it's fraud and if you decide to try it you're the one taking the risk.

It must be one of the first times that someone advertises that here. If it's allowed now, it will be allowed in the future. What's next? Drug trafficking?  Roll Eyes

Edit:

not this one.

That seems illegal pretty much everywhere (and also extremely unethical), so I removed it.

Mission success. Thank you theymos.
