Sending collateral to you will be a risky job. Consider talking to an escrow, perhaps DarkStar_. his fees are low.

Good luck.
I think that's why he included the 5th term. Maybe the user will find the escrow to hold it too?
Honestly speaking, I missed that to read. My apology to OP. However I think talking to a reputable escrow before hand will help OP to get more attention for his service if he really is wishing to have a lending business here.
Maybe have a collaboration with an escrow and. Used the services all the time (if the requestor or funder asks) or something like that. I think it would be easy to do that.
5802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is Becoming a Crypto Monopoly on: April 25, 2019, 01:40:57 AM
I think with what we have now, there are a lot of other competitors that are being used, not just Binance. I think Binance is smart that their current strategies that is doing so well and so far and a lot of people might think that they are going to abuse it, we don’t know, just like what you are speculating about now. As long as we know how much we are investing in that exchange, the another Mt. Gox incident could offer less hurt in your portfolio,  and prevention is better than cure, as they say.
5803  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best VPN service? on: April 25, 2019, 01:24:56 AM
VPN service on IOS is very hard to find especially if you are finding free VPN service.
I think it would be easy to find those kinds of VPN’s but it would be easier for hackers or the VPN providers to track and sell information about you. It’s hard to trust free stuff.

I recently obtained a Premium for my account in a Password Manager. It offers VPN when you are subscribed to a yearly payment to them. Ever since I have not encountered any problems with it. I’m currently using it in my desktop and mobile. Maybe you guys would be interested in those kinds of offers that are available.

@Theb

Thank you for recognizing this project pero it’s all @cabalism13 ‘s effort towards the betterment of the community.

Maganda idea din yung ganun and siyempre yung content nun.

It is so hard to get prepared most of the time especially if you are not in your home or in the office because you will never know the best places for you to be safe.

I will agree with you tho, to look more positively in life. This kind of calamity always reminds me  to always live a meaningful life cause we will never know when is the last time that we can take our last breath.
I think that is the time when you need to start worrying about the people you care about. It may be the last time you get to talk to them or something, might as well treat them the best all the time and expect nothing to be returned. Looking positively could benefit everyone, not just ourselves, but the outlook and the idea of thinking what could happen in the future if you are happy.

@xvids - That’s one of the most tragic thing, knowing that you are going to live up to the guilt of letting them go into the mall first before yourself just to go park. What a small way it is but it’s devastating for sure.

I think anyone who goes into the unknown could lead to a tragic death and no one could save you from it. I'm not an astrophysicist, but I know it's going to end up that way. Lol.

I have read of a theory where you have these black holes that could lead you to another dimension. Maybe this could be connected towards the approach of other intelligent beings are studying us and checking us how we do it. We all know that the universe is so wide and it's nearly impossible to believe that there are no other intelligent beings around us. Maybe it's just the thought of us just being an experiment? Maybe the blackholes could lead to "their" world or something like that. They exist between the stars and continue to exist, and we just haven't found it yet.

All these what if's in my mind makes me excited and at the same time scared of the reality that could become.

5809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your plan if you bought around all time high? on: April 23, 2019, 07:10:38 AM
That's the problem with the investments just going in and not having a complete game plan. If you manage to lose at around 20% of your original investment, I usually sell it at a loss because I know that I cannot afford more than that and of course, our emotions get in the way. It's sad to experience losses, but you have to know that you should risk what you afford to lose. That's always the rule when it comes to investments, and everybody should follow that IMO.

It's definitely at that moment when you realize you really need to have a better outlook on life. All I can think about that is how to survive and what to do when I survive this. That was my current mindset during that time, and I already asked my loved ones if they are okay. That idea left me thinking if I should have my own emergency kit and survival gear when something goes wrong. If you were to assess my current situation with preparation, I would be 0/10.

I think this would be a great time to imply how prepared you want to be when that time comes. We will never know but it's best to be prepared.

Where we are in the generation where physical systems integrated with chips and AI are coming alive? I think the developments that are coming alive with Singapore and Vietnam (as you mentioned) are, in my opinion, the right path that is coming. We are on the verge of improvement. I hope that everyone will go and help the environment with the use of technology and also the physical environment that we have.
5813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with your Parents on: April 23, 2019, 01:51:46 AM
Right now, my mom always plays Mahjong, and she is taking it as a luxury time to spend time with our relatives. It's fun and just enjoying small things. I know that their bets are not that big, but it's still fun if you get to hit the jackpot and take everything. I did ask my parents to teach me how to play it but they didn't get to, especially when they are always busy. Instead of that, I just tried gambling with them in a land-based casino, and not betting a lot which is good. It's better to be controlled, not too much.

So its about how it scammed people. I will read the thread you have linked.

Edit: Now that I have read that, I think its a greay thing people are being stopped from joining. It will be just another spam not to be tolerated in here anyway.

You could check what theymos said here and read the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5133809.msg50727083#msg50727083

129 users who were wearing a yobit signature and had at least 1 good report against them in the last 14 days are banned for 14 days. All yobit signatures are wiped. Signatures containing "yobit.net" are banned for 60 days.

Some people were talking about neg-trusting spammers for spamming. This is not appropriate; report the posts, and if that doesn't seem to be working well, come to Meta with specific examples and suggestions.

5815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right desicion not to join on: April 22, 2019, 11:55:15 PM
I suggest that everyone willing to join the campaign should know what they are going into. If you are not that familiar, do a little research about it. A lot of people have been scammed, and you still want to promote them? I don't think it's a good idea.

For everyone who is asking, I have read this thread recently about the Yobit campaign. Use the search function.

5816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Complete Guide to Cryptocurrency Arbitrage | BitRage on: April 22, 2019, 03:14:25 PM
Good guide to read it could help a lot of newbie traders and even experts. I my self is not good in trading since I have started in crypto I am more on investment and bounties. I often trade and I only know the basics. Would like to see more of your blogs and guide. Thank you for sharing.
You could check out some of my stuff here. https://gunbot.ph/blog/

Arbitrage trading is very risky and it requires a lot of money in order to make good profit and it wont be profitable for small traders with low capital to start as the profit may be used to pay some expenses like withdrawal fee and trading fee. But thanks for sharing a guidance how to do arbitrage trading, it can be useful for those who have good amount of money. I'll check your blog to find other guidance if any which is more suitable for small trader like me.
Actually, it's not risky because the risk you are willing to take (if you have a bot) is the trading fee. It will check continuously on the exchange if there are possible opportunities that could offer you a great trade. It's not that big compared to the percentages you could earn when you are trading at least little to none risk.

Bots are way better at executing arbitrage trades when compared to manual arbitrage trading in my opinion. I actually tried it and lost small amounts in the process due to the fees imposed by the exchanges and the time it takes for the coins to move from 1 exchange to another.

The only form of arbitrage that I prefer is Intra-arbitrage trading where it is possible to earn profits through the same exchange itself though there are very few opportunities available.
Yes, that's what I highlighted also in my post. It's hard to check it manually and you cannot do it instantly unlike bots. It's better that way. BitRage uses that kind of arbitrage where it checks the BTC, USD, USDT, Alt Coin markets etc. BitRage works a lot in many exchanges like Binance, Huobi, etc.

good guide bro, but if you use the method with a small amount of BTC balance, then the benefits you will lose will be for fee only. there may be need for advanced methods to avoid large fees from arbitrage BTC. Maybe for using Simple Arbitrage we need third coins wich have a little fees, that is doge coins.
Agreed with the Doge coins. We are currently testing it too, in fact.
5817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the IEO cheating / Should I invest in IEO? on: April 22, 2019, 08:49:32 AM
I've been wanting to try to invest in those kinds of things but in general. I have seen personally and been sent an email from Bittrex, and I think it would be a great chance to invest in if you get in early. As I have seen, it has been sold out.

I don't know whether it would be really profitable but exchanges that offer it are credible and they are trusted by people, so I don't think they would scam or something.
5818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BitRAGE - Automatic Arbitrage Bot by Gunthar | Gunbot on: April 22, 2019, 06:46:07 AM
i just visit the website and found out that it's like a high price for me
and btw if bitrage release what is the best/ideal balance to start with?
The 0.95 BTC Price is a pre-order, in the future, it might be more expensive. Licenses are limited too to prevent competition with other bots.

Ideally, you would want a higher balance like 0.1 - 1 BTC so that you could invest in a lot and process trades faster with a lot of opportunities.
5819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader for Hire on: April 22, 2019, 06:25:30 AM
Why not use a cryptocurrency trading bot instead? Like Gunbot

I think this option is safer instead of allowing you to access the owner exchange account. There's no need for them to expose their email and password, they just need to give you the API access.
Imagine if I were to give my account, username, and password to someone I didn't know, and that has 0.2 BTC inside it to trade, I wouldn't definitely give it (Unless I'm a whale that could afford something like that amount)

The safest thing to do is have Secured API Access to the account, so that the owner would still be in control and could see all the trades that are being done, etc.

Cryptocurrency Trading Series II | Arbitrage Trading. I also posted this in my blog, so it might be similar or the same content. This could be helpful towards beginners and even the veterans. It could help you refresh your memory or something you may not have encountered. Hoping this could help you guys.

What is Cryptocurrency Arbitrage?

  • Arbitrage is simultaneous buying and selling of an asset on different markets to make a profit from the price difference. Simply put, you would look for a coin which price is low on Exchange A, buy it, and then sell it for a higher price on Exchange B.
  • The concept of arbitrage is not something new. It exists in stock, bond and foreign exchange for years. Still, over time the opportunities for arbitrage trading have reduced in the traditional markets, while cryptocurrency still offers excellent opportunities for arbitrage.
  • Bigger exchanges with higher liquidity drive the price trends, and smaller exchanges follow these prices. However, smaller exchanges take more time to correct the price and follow the market, which is where the opportunity for arbitrage arises.

How Does Crypto Arbitrage Work?

  • Basically, it all comes down to trading volume. On the bigger exchanges where the trading volumes are high, and the liquidity of a particular coin is reasonable – prices are typically lower. On the other hand, in the markets where the specific coin has a limited supply, its price will be higher.  By buying from the former and selling on the latter, traders can make a profit from the difference in price.
  • Naturally, the arbitrage opportunities can go in the opposite direction too, where you buy on a smaller exchange that does not follow the market prices immediately and sell on the bigger exchanges that have already seen an increase in the price of the coin.

Methods to do Arbitrage

The basic approach to arbitrage would be to monitor the markets for price differences, place trades and transfer funds. Doing everything manually is possible, but there are tools such as our Bitrage which enables you to do it automatically.

There are several strategies you can use to make a profit with cryptocurrency arbitrage:
  • Simple Arbitrage: Buying and selling the same coin on separate exchanges (obviously).
  • Triangular Arbitrage: This strategy involves taking advantage of the differences in price between three currencies. For example, buy BTC for USD, sell BTC for EUR, and then exchange EUR back to USD.
  • Convergence Arbitrage: This strategy is a bit more complicated than the previous ones. It involves buying a coin on an exchange where it is undervalued and short-selling it on another exchange where it is overvalued. When the prices meet at a median price, you can take double profit.

The Potential Benefits of Crypto Arbitrage

  • It’s a fast way to (potentially) make a profit.
  • Crypto industry is in its infancy.
  • Cryptocurrencies are still fairly unregulated, and information transfer between exchanges is slow. Naturally, there are fewer traders compared to the traditional markets. This is also good, as it’s another factor that leads to better arbitrage opportunities.
  • Digital coins are volatile.

The truth is – cryptocurrencies vary in price, a lot. Just check the graphs for the prices in the last six months. This sort of volatility makes arbitrage opportunities super profitable. Bitrage is a safe tool that solves many issues with arbitrage trading, making it much easier to execute. It’s a great tool that can be used intuitively and it doesn’t require a lot of starting capital. For all those interested, we have opened preorders – you can check them here.
