@four3200

You should give credit where credit is due for using images provided by cestmoi and formatting into a table by myself.

@Ridwan Fauzi

Nice to have you with us, please use the submission form in the OP when posting to give your submissions uniformity.
5823  Economy / Reputation / Re: ★ We ★★★★★don't★★★★★ want @marlboroza on DT1 again ★ on: February 22, 2019, 06:48:37 PM
I voted "No" and that won't happen.
@TalkStar Please fix thread, it contains false information, such as:
Quote
I don't know why marlboroza left from DT1 list without any reason by clearing his own custom trust list.

Huh You shouldn't jump to conclusions like this...
Quote
Hey, what's with neutral?
There's also a positive as well: (you probably can't see it)
It is impossible for me not to see and to forget first positive feedback I received.

What a pity marlboroza is trying to rewrite history by not actually following the link http://archive.fo/2P4CR#selection-5877.85-5877.123 which reads:

Quote
I masturbated on it for few days IIRC.

This is why I removed marlboroza - selectively confrontational.
5824  Economy / Reputation / Re: ★ We ★★★★★don't★★★★★ want @marlboroza on DT1 again ★ on: February 22, 2019, 12:41:59 AM
I've voted no because marlboroza's replies to me in his (me me) thread were disrespectful towards me after I asked if we should include his two known alts in the distrust.

While I won't be placing marlboroza on my DT negative list (such as it is) I have taken a few days to carefully conciser his attitude and have, for the time being, removed him from my DT trust list.

2 Accounts connected

godharigod01 ( archive ); altcoin01 ( archive )

Alts are alts, they are not banned according bpip, do we have any bounty where they abused?

It seems a change of account for whatever reason.

@coinlocket$

The name of the thread is "Known Alts of any-one" - it's not "known alts that are scammers" this is a place to report UID's that are alts of other UID's.  Please keep that in mind.

@Slow Death

Thank you for posting this information - don't forget there is a report template on in the OP which will help you present your findings in a uniform manor.
5826  Local / Échanges / Re: Cryptopia hack on: February 20, 2019, 09:19:20 AM
@timelord
Indeed I may be mistaken on this point.
I skimmed the English thread to get the feeling.
It looked like you were against lafu and xtralev. And I know for a fact that they are loyal to cryptopia.
It made you a vilain in my eyes.

I should not have included you in the "autres" (others) that are saying that cryptopia is a scam. My apologies, I will edit my post.

I agree with you on the point that cryptopia CEO should at least do some kind of press release about the current situation. This is not some kind of FBI / DOD terrorist attack. It is a roberry.

By now they should know how much was taken and what they are going to do about missing funds. Mutualise the losses ? Give free shares ? Issue an IOU coin ? Sell assets (shares) to reimburse....

Thank-you for your understanding.  Many people have lost funds over the last 18 months - a statement released via a solicitor outlining a course forward and explaining that their hands are tied would go a long way to assuring the masses that something is being done.

I'm at a loss to predict which way Cryptopia will go.  Their response to the second round of 51% attacks (and let's not forget the coins under attack were drained from Cryptopia's funds without any of their 80 staff noticing) was to just ditch 100+ coins and let the masses clamor to withdraw funds.  Runs like that are how banks collapse in the real world, so we are seeing a mirror of the real world being played out in the Crypto world.

At last count I'd heard there were close to 2 million registered users of Cryptopia. Issuing stock to that many users would require vast amounts of resources just to gather KYC information, some of which the masses might not want to provide for their own reasons.

I'm wondering if the attack at week +2 (post ETH attack) that some say wasn't an attack has locked Cryptopia's staff out of their own exchange with the hacker really holding the keys to all hot (and cold??) wallets.  It would explain why the front page has not been updated.

If you would prefer I refrain from posting further in this thread, just say so and I'll be on my way.

Thanks for your understanding, tempers and well meaning people tend to rub against each-other in troubling times.

En gros, Timelord et d'autres accusent Cryptopia d’être un exist scam uniquement base sur le fait que depuis 1 mois rien n'a bouge.

Um no.

I have been trying to tell xtraelv and Lafu (and by extension "Ben") that there are three online articles which state categorically that the CEO has been instructed to say nothing and that they (xtraelv, lafu and "Ben") should also refrain from saying anything.

xtraelv then turned it into an attack on me including placing me on his DT negative list after he tried to hijack my thread concerning online articles about Cryptopia.

You've done some great work posting photos and reporting from Christchurch, but you're mistaken when you say that I've said it's an exit scam.

Feel free to post any proof to the contrary here or in the main Cryptopia (English) thread.

I apologise for not speaking French.
Do you know who "Dave" is?
5828  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia - ONLINE ARTICLES related to hack & theft of funds 2019 (non discussion thread) on: February 19, 2019, 04:20:17 PM
The author of the article is trying to answer this question: Will Cryptopia be able to regain the trust of its users after hacking in January?

https://coinedtimes.com/cryptopia-to-resume-trading-after-hack/

Thanks for the tip-off, mostly a rehash of other articles, but it does point out in the last paragraph:

Quote
These short tweets don’t answer any important questions. If the exchange wants to regain its customers’ trust and find new users, it might want to rethink its communication strategy.

Am adding to the list.
5829  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia - ONLINE ARTICLES related to hack & theft of funds 2019 (non discussion thread) on: February 19, 2019, 06:47:53 AM
Thanks Gunthar and cestmoi for the screen shots - I'll add it to the OP.

Irony.

xtraelv is using screen shots to prove their point.

Seems like only a couple of days ago xtraelv was debunking screen shots as being doctored.

All of this should have been in the OP not teased out like decayed teeth.
5831  Economy / Reputation / Re: nixon99 on: February 19, 2019, 01:41:00 AM
You'd be best posting in the Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III thread...

Four merits for that?

It is not an alt. It is a hacked account that either is being used by the hacker or has been sold (stolen goods)

Given your OP only has quotes it's a little hard to get that from the three posts. In any event it didn't warrant four merits. It's kind of a flimsy thread.

Nice to see you have broken ranks from the narrative given by the other two non cryptopia employees who are in denial that Cryptopia has been told to say nothing.

Cryptopia is still restrained by what they can say. Both due to the ongoing police investigation, other legal restrictions and still being in the process of making an accurate assessment of the situation.

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to achieve here Andrew.

No doubt any videos  Roll Eyes by the Chairman Allan Booth will go there.

Who is Chairman Allan Booth ? CEO Allan Booth has not worked for Cryptopia since June 10 October 2018

Current Director and acting CEO is Peter Dawson. EDIT (Peter Dawson has been Director since June 2018 and Managing Director - Acting CEO since October 2018)

I stand corrected: http://app.companiesoffice.govt.nz/companies/app/ui/pages/companies/5392901/26153479/entityFilingRequirement?backurl=%2Fcompanies%2Fapp%2Fui%2Fpages%2Fcompanies%2F5392901%2Fdocuments perhaps you might like to have a word with your non-employer to have their website updated.

P.S. the only thing that is missing from the pictures uploaded by cestmoi is "office space for rent" LOL
You realise its a 4 story building right?

Hmm, awkward.  "Let's leave the ground floor empty so no-one walking past thinks there's any work being done here."

notice the car park area? empty.......i guess people love walking there  Cheesy

You don't know Christchurch too well... That's in the middle of a shopping precinct.

That also happens to be the most up-to-date page on Cryptopia's Support page.  Nearly eight months old.

If Cryptopia has failed to advise the relevant authorities in New Zealand of the change of CEO then I'm sure the relevant authorities will be interested to be advised of the update (some seven months late)

Don't blame me, I just work here:

Go to Google.com

click on maps.

Type in

Code:
Cryptopia Christchuch

then click enter:

You should get a link that looks like this: https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Cryptopia+Ltd/@-43.5445512,172.6347611,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x6d3188bef04f07af:0x4c5e3959b4458463!8m2!3d-43.5445512!4d172.6369498?hl=en

Over on the left hand notice how google thinks Cryptopia is Closed Permanently??

So I stoped by, it was 5:30pm (somewhat kind of late for office workers).
The lights were on but I didn’t see anyone through the windows of the ground floor.
I took a few pictures, it kinda looks empty.

On the upper floors there was also some lights on.

I didn’t have a pen in my car (to write the date and my ID), I had to use some kind of nail polish / paint that I found under a mat.

Funny observation, that had one of the wall repainted today.

Maybe to cover a tag, who knows....

Thanks for the updates, images two and three look like stuff has been removed? What was it like ten days ago?
