I am not sure if David Alaba will stay in Munich after the season. There are several rumors, that he might move to FC Barcelona, but does Barca really have the money to sign him? Haha thanks, let's see how it goes . I suggest you to try to limit the amount of merits submission you are willing to receive. This is something to limit the possibility to pos random records like the old thread with some really weird submission.... But, this is only a suggestion, a funny thread can also stay a little bit silly!
For now, I would like to keep the thread as free as possible. Some people really like random numbers, like e.g 123, 567, 1212, 1234 or 1337. To many limitations might prevent these people from posting their records here. At the beginning I would just say, we see how it goes and if things are getting out of hand and people keep spamming the thread, we will surely add more restrictions. In addition to that, if people don't follow the basic posting rules, they won't be added to #1 anyway.
I guess you did not catch my idea. My idea is if you only advise people to use a fixed height for their merit images, at 200, their merit images will be different. Some will snapshot their images at profile pages, without avatars. In contrast, some will snapshot their images in posts, with or without avatars. There will be at least three types of images and the diversity will make your OP be inconsistently displayed. If you include a rule with fixed height and only one image type, OP will look better. That post looks good with consistently displayed images. Compare it with that one and with OP. I got your idea earlier, but I don't see a problem with different screenshots, as long as they are the same height. If some people prefer a screenshot of their profilepage, while others prefer a screenshot of their their stats on the left of a post, I am totally okay with that (people are also free to decide, if they also want to screenshot their avatars or if they want to cut them out). Let's not add too many rules and make things too complicated. This thread should be fun! If screenshots look slighty different, thats totally fine. |

Oh man, zuerst einmal: Tut mir Leid wie das für dich gelaufen ist. Ich hoffe du bekommst dein Geld doch noch irgendwie zurück, auch wenn ich vermute, dass das schwierig werden könnte. Vielen Dank, dass du diesen Hinweis hier im Forum postest und so andere warnst. Deine Geschichte führt einem nochmal vor Augen, wie wichtig der Hinweis vieler Handelsplattformen ist, nur auf der eigentlichen Plattform zu handeln (und dann in der Regel einen Käuferschutz zu genießen). Verlagert man die Geschäfte auf Telegram, Whatsapp und Co. läuft man immer wieder Gefahr betrogen zu werden (insbesondere wenn man derjenige ist der dann "first" geht). Vielleicht würde es Sinn machen deinen Thread zu editieren und ggf. Begriffe wie [WARNUNG] [HINWEIS] in die Kopfzeile mit einzufügen. Sonst könnte es sein, dass dieser gut gemeinte Hinweis, schnell zwischen den vielen anderen Threads verloren geht! Kopf hoch und viele Grüße!  |

Archiving them would prevent Merit record cheating / Merit record abuse Thanks for your suggestions, I already added the archive-rule to OP.
Better use one of the two variants and try to get the original forum size (posts can be editet after posting, if it's too small / too big). Using one of the two will result in original scaling => scaling issue solved To solve the scaling issue, let's go with height=200 then.
OP should include guides to make snapshot of merit profile: - Width and height with Paint as pointed out by Ratheyon hereThanks for your suggestions, but I don't think an additional Microsoft Paint guide is necessary, since it's pretty self-explanatory. In addition to that Raytheon already posted how to do it. Anyway, if you want to create another thread in the Beginners & Help section, how to use Microsoft Paint with screenshots, I will obviously link it here.
- Which image contents will be snapshotted? Only username and merit numbers or username with merit numbers and user avatar. Different set of contents will result in different image display with same width and height.
I am fine with different kind of screenshots, as long as they are height=200. I already updated OP. |

It might be better to suggest the image size for uniformity. What is the preferred width/height?
Since the screenshots from the first thread were all different sizes (and cutouts), I edited most of them, but if you guys want to do me a favor those numbers work fine. For bigger profile screenshots, e.g.:  width=330 and height=200 works fine.
For smaller ones, e.g.:  width=150 height=200 works fine.

Only if your post will follow the rules stated below, I will add your merit record to #1. For a changelong please check this post. Das hatte ich gesehen. Da ist auf der letzten Seite etwas zu sehen... aber was genau soll das sein? Da kann ich auf das Postamt gehen und mir meine Crypto Stamps 2.0 abstempeln/entwerten lassen? 1. habe ich sie an dem Tag ggf. noch garnicht und 2. warum? Damit sie seltener und mehr Wert sind? Fragen über Fragen Wie man sieht bin ich nicht so der Briefmarkensammler... vom Zeitpunkt her wäre es mir aber ggf. möglich am 25. (oder in den Tagen danach) vor Ort zu sein. Am Ausgabetag mit Sonderstempel/Ersttagsstempel gestempelte Briefmarken bzw. Ersttagsbriefe und Ersttagsblätter sind unter Sammlern oft sehr begehrt und können dementsprechend auch oft höhere Verkaufspreise erzielen. Wie denkt Ihr darüber?
Kann weiter hochgehen, kann aber auch nochmal wieder runter gehen. Wie gesagt, eine Glaskugel hat keiner. Ich persönlich halte es durchaus für möglich, dass es beim DAX im Herbst/Winter nochmal unter 10.000 ggf. auch 9000 Punkte geht. Nichtsdestotrotz scheint die Gefahr für die Wirtschaft in Europa und China aktuell größtenteils gebannt, was aber nicht heißt, dass es bei einer erneuten Verschärfung der Coronakrise nicht wieder deutlich bergab gehen kann. Aber ich finde der allgemeine Kursverlauf der letzten Monate zeigt mal wieder deutlich, dass man in einer Krise insbesondere bei (eigentlich) krisenfesten Aktien echte Schnäppchen machen kann. Viele Konsumgüterhersteller, Pharma- und Techwerte wurden zwar zu Beginn auch stark abgestraft, haben sich mittlerweile aber wieder weitestgehend erholt und kratzen an ihren All-Time-Highs. Zudem erhöhen viele Dividendenzahler aus diesen Bereichen weiter fleißig ihre Ausschüttungen - von Krise ist hier nicht viel zu spüren. Ich persönlich habe im März diverse Einmalkäufe getätigt (ausnahmsweise mal ein sehr glückliches Händchen gehabt) und meine monatlichen Sparpläne laufen sowieso weiter. Da ich als Anleger aber sowieso eher langfristig orientiert bin, sehe ich auch zukünftige Abstürze am Markt eher als Chance meine Positionen aufzustocken. Werte wie TUI, Lufthansa und Co. habe ich als langfristiger Anleger aber sowieso nicht im Depot. Wer hier investiert ist und nicht ausgestiegen ist, dem stehen wohl in den nächsten Jahren noch harte Zeiten bevor. |

Alter Falter. Nur zwei Paar Socken. Das tun sich auch nur die Bayern Fans an. Du wechselst die dann einmal die Woche nur von links nach rechts oder wie ? Socken hat man oder man hat sie nicht. Und wenn ich welche hab, dann behalte ich die auch an. Ist doch klar!
