5821  Economy / Gambling / Re: casinoxy.com SCAM deposit not credited , probably not even a real casino on: December 20, 2022, 10:13:46 PM
Be careful, I just lost a lot of money trying to deposit at this casino.
It looks like not even real casino software just a dummy site.
I am not sure if I have heard of that casino before, but am aware of their modus of operation and I am careful not to deposit in a new casino that I have not seen reviews on, the gambling market has been infiltrated with loads of scam casino lately and we even have some known scam casino that is taking players money and blocking their accounts without any clear reasons, so the best anyone can do is to protect your funds from entering the hand of scammers because you may never get them back. I advise you to open a proper scam accusation thread with all the evidence needed and link to the website if possible, so that at least other members of the forum will stay away from such casinos.
5822  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: December 20, 2022, 10:02:55 PM
Why not both I ask? Learning about crypto does not stop you from learning a skill, and learning a skill as well should not stop you from learning even more about crypto. You don't have to substitute one for the other. People who were dependent only on crypto are somewhat having a difficult time in this dump currently, for those who are still experiencing the dump, but have a skill that they are using to cushion the hard effect of the dump are doing way better and I am certain they do not regret it.
I find this question very boring, Bitcoin is only 10+ years old, and I wonder what kind of work did you do 13 years ago? A person's life depends on workability and skills. My teacher once told me that it would not hurt me to master one more skill. Now the crypto world needs more patience, if you speculate to make money, the answer is that you will go broke.
There is no longer free money anywhere and for one to make something meaningful in this space, it will require skills and patience to wait it out and the learning period is not always easy for newbies most especially those that choose freelancing and investment as an escape route from poverty or an alternative source of income, instead of building a motivational foundation that will sustain them through the process of learning and equipping themselves with the relevant knowledge that could guarantee a glorious future for them. Cryptocurrency is not just an investment scheme but also a technology that requires adequate knowledge and skills in various areas to be able to maximize the potential that is embedded in this young fast-growing industry. But if a person focuses only on the profits aspect, there will definitely miss out on the most important instruments that will guarantee them a smooth and less risky crypticurrency journey and having other skills as a backup plan is definitely another good way to sustain your financial stability in a time of uncertainty.
5823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no cool games on: December 20, 2022, 06:30:20 PM

The more hours you play the more skilled you get and can get confident in changing bet size.

However, bets like this already exist in local gaming shops where both players wager a certain amount that the winner will keep.
One of the challenges that confront the fast-growing gaming I industry is the lack of p2p virtual games but am sure there development is underway, with some casinos already offering such player-to-player games on the casinos but mostly in unpopular games. But games like mortals combats are old popular games that players will love to see them back on the casinos with advanced features and outlooks that will give combatants a nice experience playing those old games again, I believe the web3 virtual gaming industry is growing fast and soon we will have web3 casino offering such games for their client to enjoy and compete against each other.
5824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters, how much you really earned in the last two years? on: December 20, 2022, 03:48:53 PM
In my opinion, Bounty performance in terms of budget and payment to hunters has been on the decline for the past 10 months. Out of many campaigns that I have participated in (for the past 10 months), only about 5 campaigns made payment in the range of $10 to $40, while two campaigns paid in the range of $200. Most of the payments are less than $1. On the average, for every ten projects that I have participated in, five ends up being scam, or will have one issue or the other despite doing some research on the project before participating.
Nowadays have many bounties campaign increasing drop bounty budget payment for participants, usually each bounty allocated about 2% until 5% from their coin supply distributing to bounty participants. Last two years all bounties have allocation budget for bounty reward with stable coin values under $10,000 but distributing trough altcoin bounty project, when price listing in the market drastically drop reward and each participants get not higher above $10.

Beside many project not reach their goals with pre sale become problem why less budget or reward distributing for bounty participants, I think most important with project advertising become success and get higher rewards later with the bounties campaign.

@Oneandpure I have not participated in bounty before but statistically what you are saying is right, if a project without solid stability plans has the token listed on the exchange before rewarding their market which percentage of reward received during the counties duration is 2% or above let say up to 5% of total token supply the team will likely not pay since their know the impact that will have on their market value since there already have an exit plan, so the bounty hunter will get a relatively low payment equivalent in US dollar that is the reason you see lower pay as reward some as low as 10$-15$ this is bad but since bounty requires little efforts from the hunters and the shitcoin scammer's project team members, already are aware of the high rate of cheating via multiple accounts, bot/fake social media followers in their bounty program will not want to reward for a job not done and since the project team already know this the treat bounty hunter with high disdain.
5825  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽🎮🎲 Coinplay.com | Brand New Crypto Sportsbook & Casino on: December 20, 2022, 02:49:56 PM
As for me I think that it is not necessary to have any knowlage at all to play casino games.
Well, you've stated that to be your own perspective to casino gambling but I think, one ought to know the rules that governs any game your playing for example. Casinos often makes use of casino chips in exchange for your money value and that's what you get to stake with. A good knowledge of these chips as to how they are valued would enable you to know just how much you intend staking on a game and what returns to expect should you win.
I know the op's statement depends on luck to win a game but not knowing that it's not all games you can win based on luck, some games require players' inputs and skill activation to win. A newbie can easily win on dice since it is based on luck but some other games like poker and the rest requires a player to contribute to the winning, luck has few chances and only that requires little to no players contribution to determine its outcome such as slot, dice those are the only luck base games I know.
5826  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria to limit cash withdrawals on: December 19, 2022, 10:44:09 PM

This time it will be hard for Nigerians to fine their way to abusing the new policy, most especially now that the only option open to both pos and individual bank users are subject to processing fees of up to 10% for transactions above the 20k limit.

This is not exactly true with your assumption. Nigeria has good laws but the implementation is the challenge. It takes political will to do that and that is not usually easy with the Nigerian system that is always running on favoritism and selective justice. This law may look good on the poor and masses but politicians will violate it without no punishment, so this is the issue and that will bring selective implementation.
I don't also think political will alone is the problem that is affecting the effective implementation of policy in Nigeria, and I think that we substitute that assertion for the weak institution as the major setback to policy implementation in Nigeria because if our institutions are strong there will be strict adherence to the rule of law and the political class will not have the chance to manipulate the system, institutions are what is helping developed Nations today and if Nigeria takes the step to make our institutions strong enough, the political office holders will be left with no choice than to follow the set pattern just like it is done in the UNITED STATES we're there is national blue prints and plans that each political office holder will work with for the interest of the nation and not an individual thing.
5827  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 19, 2022, 09:42:53 PM

In any project created, there is a targeted audience. And the targeted audience for cryptocurrency is the world youths. And when bitcoin came to Nigeria, it was the youths key into it and when the Nigeria government discovered that, the Nigeria youth used bitcoin massively in the #endsars protest and they used bitcoin to sponsor the protest with millions... And they could not do anything to stop the coin so they created e-naira, though the e-naira is meant for everyone but the specific targeted audience are the youth.
The only way the e-naira can work perfectly in Nigeria is the time when the government create it as a decentralized exchange platform and by that most Nigerians will use it to keep their naira...and if possible they should give rewards to some first users for like 6 months. Then people will be tripping in. But as for me the decentralized exchange with free charge rate is the best. Or very low fee rate like BTC.

Yes the youth has a low percentage in the national fiscal policy but not in the internet or online transaction... nobody will tell me that the Nigerian Youth has a low percentage on e-transaction but for the physical cash policy they are.
Ops I bolded some words and sentences in your comment to point out some inconsistency in your use of words, and from the look of things, it seems you are mixing up things here I will advise you to take your time to read more on some terms before using them. Such as you saying e-naira which is a CBDC to run on a decentralized exchange which is in no way possible, even the E-naira is not blockchain-based, talks more it being decentralized when it is created by a centralized institution like the CBN. The point I was waiting for and expecting your contribution on was, the extent to which Nigerians have integrated the e-naira into their banking system and the percentage of usage and accessibility of the e-naira by ordinary bank users in Nigeria. Mentioning End sars has nothing to contribute to this discussion after all donations during the end sar were not accounted for since it was done using a decentralized currency BTC and other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum which make it hard to trace its origin or amount donated, End star has nothing to do with Bitcoin growth in Nigeria unless we the genuine Bitcoin users want to mingle our self with the criminals corrupt politicians and yahoo boiz in Nigeria who sees Bitcoin as a safe haven for their illegal money laundering.
Any one that was deeply involved in the End sars will know by now that the process was corrupt and just a few set of people embezzled the funds and it not ordinary that some of them their accounts were blocked after the end Sars protest. In fact the negative impact of the end of SARs was deeply felt when Twitter was a banned in Nigeria for almost a year, and I hope you know End SARS protest started from Twitter, and even the then twitter CEO made some bitcoin donations to support the struggle, the point is trying to make is Bitcoin in Nigeria should not be seen or treated as an exit from legal monetary transaction or money for the dark net but Bitcoin should be seen as an alternative to the Naira and every process should be followed in using both currencies but one can not exit without the other, Bitcoin can not be used for a daily transaction unless it gets exchanged into Nigeria before we can use it for payments.
Another point to note is, Satoshi did not mention youths as the targeted audience for bitcoin, but a general alternative currency for all ages, but because of unemployment, Nigeria youths have picked cryptocurrency as a way to be financially independent and trading has been the major legit source that made cryptocurrency trading volume high in Nigeria I could have mentioned this forum as another legitimate means of earning cryptocurrency BTC but we have lower percentages of Nigerians on the forum to make up for any number.
5828  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Win $100,000! 🔥💰 | Premium Crypto Casino | Instant Withdrawals! ✅ on: December 19, 2022, 08:51:01 PM
Anyways I agree that the understanding of wagering is not much clear to the gamblers and they often miscalculate all this.
Most times gamblers, concentrate on the winning amount with without minding the risk that comes with high wagering limits, the higher the limit the higher the chances of losing the bet, and the lower the wagering limit to higher the chances of winning but the total winning prize may be low but the chances of losing the lower wager amount is slim. Most gamblers don't understand this and the is also liken to trading also, most gamblers just want to hit the higher winning without calculating the risk associated with high wagering.
5829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Brazil Fan Token Down 60% After Losing to Croatia on: December 19, 2022, 05:53:45 PM
Brazilian fans token is not going anywhere, since it is a fan utility token, the mood of their fans will determine the value of the token at whatever time, and the token can easily get pumped by the government or any other whales that have control of a large amount of the token. I was amazed by the reaction of the citizens of Brazil after their national team was knocked out of the world cup I heard the players were stoned with water battles when the returned back from the world cup Qatar 2022. So am not surprised that the value of the fan token dropped after the team lost that shows how weak the tokeb is and since it is a utility token there is less anyone can do if the fans have no motivation to support the team.
5830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobel prize for Satoshi. on: December 19, 2022, 03:56:25 PM
Who is Saroshi this question have been asked a million times within the last one decade ago when bitcoin was developed and launched. So who will award the of merit be titled to, is it the multiple fake Satoshi that have parades themselves claiming to be the real Satoshi. Or the award will go to a public ledger in form of blockcain based award that could be added to the Bitcoin network and verifiable on the blockchain using.the award txd harsh,  Grin just kidding any ways but going by the privacy and identity battle of Satoshi the award is irrelevant for any one of us and Satoshi in a whole.
5831  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk forum mobile app on: December 18, 2022, 10:26:11 PM
There is a mobile app for Bitcointalk I have used it on a few occasions during the early days in the forum, but to be honest I don't enjoy the mobile app compared to the website site, because the browser website gives more graphic overview that is user friendly and appealing to our sight compared to accessing bitcointalk on the app. I prefer to access sites using the browser URL because it gives you the full feature of the site that may not be accessed using the apps, the only way an app can be preferred is when the app is designed to serve a specific purpose or introduce a new feature that can be exclusive to the app, but since this is not the case most time people prefer to look away from downloading and using app and bitcointalk is not too heavy or multi-feature to warrant the use of the app as mandatory for accessing its feature.
5832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know on: December 18, 2022, 10:11:22 PM
Project Tokenomic is one of the most important aspect that an investor need to pay close attention to when making an investment decisions on what project token to invest on and this should be done at the first stage of the process, that is why most financial adviser are always suggesting that an investor do their own research (DYOR). Because what make the different between token A vs B is in the token supply distribution, and utilization on a good eco system that will aid to token activities to flourish and gain good tracking in it data that will result in a positive market outcome. But one of the other factors that affect a project's performance is getting listed on the wrong exchange, bad exchange for a good token will result in project destruction even if the token already has a good use case and is a utility token with a large community of supporters. This may not entirely be the fault of the team, but the team is still responsible for choosing the exchange that token should be listed on, I have seen some tokens, which perform well on a good exchange but once their get exposed to the wrong market the token gets drained up
5833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: December 18, 2022, 08:07:45 PM
A large percentage of altcoin investments are scams, and if you ever decide to hold any altcoin then you should rest assured that you are not different from gamblers because anything can happen and there is no difference between a profit-maximizing project and with Ponzi scheme that also promises to be smart enough to robe Paul to pay Peter until the bubble burst because the bubble will definitely burst at some point. We should try as much as possible to be less greedy and tasty to make profits from any project and concentrate more on building financial stability and education and most importantly the motivation to wait for a long time with a real project with physical development other than want to get 2× profits within a short time that can only lead to scam and most scammers are already aware of that.
5834  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 18, 2022, 07:40:58 PM
I was watching Kakaki AIT yesterday morning and Economy  experts were saying some the reasons why the e-naira (cashless policy) is not working and how to achieve the purpose of the cashless policy agenda. According to she, federal government should provide an awareness campaign for the e-naira. She again, because of of no awareness given to the youth that is why they are using cryptocurrency more than the e-naira.
IMO, it is not because of awareness that the e-naira is not popular, people know about the e-naira and know also that the benefits do not outweigh that of cryptocurrency. It is still not the number one choice for people when the two options are presented. If the government is to convince the youth to begin and adopt to usage of the e-naira, it must be able to outline the benefits that it has without comparing it to cryptocurrency. Making a comparison to know the better between cryptocurrency and the e-naira will be a lost battle for CBDC's for the well-informed youths.
The first thing I will like Agbe to answer is, how many Nigerians not only the youths have access to the e-naira?
Because I don't know if is only me that has experienced a delay in setting up my e-naira wallet since it was launched some time ago and I believe so many other members here have experienced the same thing, so how can an e-naira whose scalability is not achievable within the citizens have anything to compete with cryptocurrency whose is easily accessible to all even newbies can easily own and use Bitcoin even though it is blockchain build with all the complexity that comes with blockchain that made the Nigeria central bank to run away from allowing its operation in the designing of the e-naira. I know there is need for awareness on every government's policy and every other thing as it concern human, but let's not ascribe local currency shortcomings to cryptocurrency or mention Youths whenever such discussions come up, because the youths have the lowest percentage in Gov-CBN monetary policy because the old men are the ones in the office and stealing and using Naira, the youths purchasing power is low in 9ja and that is why when cryptocurrency come up as an alternative to the centralized red-tapism of the financial system the youths embraced it as a better alternative to fait
Even at that, if you check the percentage of cryptocurrency users and holders in Nigeria, the youth may fall behind even to the old forks and the corrupt politicians, who are no different from Yahoo boiz, even though youths is mentioned as frontline crypto adopters in Nigeria.
5835  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria to limit cash withdrawals on: December 18, 2022, 02:54:09 PM
Changing the currency won't change anything, it's only a matter of time before Nigerians find themselves in the same spot before the next election begins.
I have a contrary opinion about this, not everytime a new policy come out that it will result into a policy summer sort, the central bank of Nigeria has taken a giant step to recover the economy from private and individual, politician and other financial saboteur and to a great extent. This new policy look positive to me and other financial analysts within the country most especially now that we are close to the national general election where naira notes are usually abused during campaigns and on the day of election for vote buying.
it's only a matter of time before Nigerians find themselves in the same spot before the next election begins.
This time it will be hard for Nigerians to fine their way to abusing the new policy, most especially now that the only option open to both pos and individual bank users are subject to processing fees of up to 10% for transactions above the 20k limit.
5836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 17, 2022, 06:10:11 PM
I really wish mortal combat game will be added in the casino games, it is based on n skills, not base on luck, like other games. I remembered when I was in high school, we use our snacks money given to us on gambling. We do go to a friend house when his parents are not around and we will play till its evening for fun but if we have money on us,we gamble with it.

It will be a good experience to have such a game in the casino even though it is PvP the casino should know how it will be designed so that they can also make benefit from the bet. Noob Sabot was my favorite fighter because of his cheating skills. Offline combat is a big medium for gambling like street fighters.
Yeah bro I remember those old days when we can easily gamble with few friends, with real-time skill display and this does not depend on luck. But sometimes luck still has its place in the games because I still remember when one mistake always ends the fight with a knockout blow or smackdown. So luck still has its place in every gambling activity skills can only aid one in winning and increase your chances in the game.

So in general the site is an awesome work and I applaud you to keep developing it since it is a crypto news site and will require constant updates.

Make dem no go dey approved underage votes now or do wrong PVC for politicians as we dey normally hear the story after election wey we go see dozens of PVC wey dem throwaway. I been hear story for radio wey INEC people talk say politicians dey put them under pressure to make them rig this election. I hope this one no follow reason why them reopen the PVC mata so them fit use am achieved their rigging. Sha make we dey watch how things go play out but I belivyww go get an right this time.
Make we dey see na. This country na very funny place because this election wey deh on ground na the one chance wey we Nigerians don get again to correct all this nonsense of a bad leader wey deh happen to us but the top people dem no go want make our votes we go cast make e deh line with the constitution and in line with the results wey come after the voting. I know e deh easy for the inec people too but make dem too try their best to help this country make we fit fo legit some for once, the rate of underage voters for the country especially for the northern part e too much and this politicians wey deh involved for this election make dem understand say the position of being a president be na you deh serve the Nigerians no we deh serve you.
The truth is that, the bad politicians will not allow the true sense and practice of this new electrol law to function at it 100%, as they will try every single way to protect they interests and try to wring the election using every possible liphol and bugs they can find in the system, but one thing I will like everyone to settle at the back of their mined is that, we may never find a good leader in Nigeria because no politician is free of corruption all of them na illegal way they take gather money enter politics. And one of the things we're the motivate corruption among 9ja politicians na the high cost of contesting for election in Nigeria, the only way to survive all this things na to develop stringers institutions and national plans that focus on Nigeria internal development' like Brainboss said rightly, Nigeria need to Move from a consuming nation to production Nation. For 9ja, we have all the necessary resources to help us achieve great tride and becoming the envy of other countries, both human and mineral resources are abundant Nigeria yet there is still high rate of under development and poverty.
Make we no deceive ourselves, even after 2023 general election, Nigerians will still glamour for a better leader.
5840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain on: December 16, 2022, 12:06:21 PM
Apart for if relatively low fees and fast transaction and less congestion in the XRP network, I don't think XRP have any other utility value to push its price up. One of the reasons why XRP is becoming irrelevant and less valuable is because of the fact that other networks in the layer2 category have made Bitcoin transactions scalable with low fees and less Bitcoin network congestion so has had no future just like thousands of altcoins it's its class.
