5821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: February 16, 2017, 03:06:52 AM
I'm usually stop betting if I reach 10% profit from initial deposit so my answer is not !
I'm ever experience if I keep betting , I'm loss more than I can afford

It's good that you are stopping when you got 10% already. But with what I do is I keep on gambling with my profit and instead of using my initial deposit. I prefer to use the winning I got instead because it seems to make me more comfortable to use my profit rather than using my deposit and when I lose, its okay.
Same as the above mate its good to play with profit rather than using the deposit. Because it gives us a relaxed state of mind, even losing won't affect our balance. On this basis we can be free of fear and make better prediction on the events that we make bets for the doubling purpose with ease.
5822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese bitcoin traders lost track of authentic price on: February 16, 2017, 02:20:21 AM
Without an exchange that allows bitcoin withdrawal, the price has lost its value.

Wut?
Did all exchanges stopped btc withdrawal? Oo
Last time I checked all the exchanges I use are still doing it!
Not all exchanges have stopped the btc withdrawal. Few have stopped and among them HuaBTC which is a long served exchange provider. I think this stopping is jus to focus much on mining as they hold a mining pool.
5823  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: February 16, 2017, 01:50:29 AM
i agree that is is not easy to start from zero, money calls money, if you have a lot of money it is easy to produce more because you have more alternatives for investing and more opportunities, thats why it is easier for richs than poors to get it
Making money from money is a possible fact that it helps to create more and more business. Even if one business doesn't give you the best or experience loss, one could try to compensate the loss through alternate business plans. This cannot be done by common man, because only the rich has the backing as well one cannot borrow and do do business which is same as gambling. If it doesn't suit you everything comes to an end.
5824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China? on: February 16, 2017, 01:35:28 AM
China will not (technically) control  BTC but chinese miners can manipulate prices and profit of it. That's all i see
As the miners and user base of digital currency is quite high in China compared to other countries gives it the access to manipulate the price movement. Now this is no longer effective and don't have any control upon the bitcoin. If its found under their control, the system could have changed entirely.
5825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar now with TOR support, what do you think? on: February 16, 2017, 01:19:55 AM
Tor for the open bazaar usage is good, if user need to have an anonymous sources. Tor along with VPN service increases the security. As one of the user mentioned, if continuously used it is possible to track and identify.
5826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: February 15, 2017, 04:19:13 AM
sportsbetting and poker, well that is when i not only need luck but need my skill too, so i think that 2 games fit for me
My games also, is usually in sports sections, which i bet on football and basketball events because I have skills and luck on them. I don't like the dice and black jet and other genres of bet which is random games. Dice also my favorite but I am not making any profits from there.

It seems sports betting are really the choice of member of this forum.  I,too is getting interest in sporst betting each day.  The fact that we have a bigger chance to win make it more attractive and seeing and betting to our favorite team is another one.

Users around here prefer sports betting for the increased winning chances, but the highest winning is not possible with sports betting. Highest profiting possibility is possible through dice and casino's which is purely based upon luck. I give equal importance to both methods of gambling as at some point luck is very important to profit.
5827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for a soccer betting site. on: February 15, 2017, 04:03:43 AM
Most of the gambling website has the soccer game into the sports betting section. But very few has the featured betting odd feature. Already Directbet itself posted their feature. Other than that nitrogensports.eu has the service.
5828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the plan to fix slow transactions and high fees? on: February 15, 2017, 03:49:39 AM
So, currently in electrum, the recommended fee to get a transaction included in the next block, is 0.001835 BTC/kb. Thats 1.85$ PER KILOBYTE.

Now, to be fair, that is the recommended fee to get the transaction as soon as possible, but think of it this way:
I go to buy a cup of coffee and want to pay in bitcoin. I pay them but need to wait  some time for the transaction (obviously the coffee shop would want to receive a few confirmations on the transaction so they're sure I don't leave with a free coffee). Lets say I pay a high fee to get the transaction done soon, for this example lets say I paid a 1.85$ fee (and remember that is the recommended fee is per kilobyte, that's not the recommended total fee), now I've got to wait like 10 minutes and pay a dollar or two just to pay for a coffee with bitcoin (and remember that a few dollars is a high price to pay as a fee to buy something for a few dollars).

And this is in the current network. In order for me to pay for a coffee with bitcoin we'd probably need the mass adoption everybody seems convinced will happen. With mass adoption mean WAY more transactions on the network than now, and I feel mass adoption would cause the user base to grow much faster than the network (most of the people using bitcoin now are probably good with technology and would consider mining or hosting a node, if everybody joined then we probably wouldn't have a user base like that). Think of the kind of fees then.

I'd think that this should be a problem that is on the minds of the developers, and it probably is, so, what's the plan? Or perhaps there's already a plan coming to action and I'm just unaware of it. Anyway, please elaborate on this.

You dont need to wait until the confirmation will finish and the payment in bitcoin will appear in your balance. What it needs is that there is a transaction that has been done and the transfer is ongoing. If I am a merchant I will not think of it as a problem I will give my products to him even if the transaction is unconfirmed. Sooner or later it will be confirmed and will appear on my balance.
Such confirmation delay doesn't create any issue. As mentioned when the amount gets deducted we can have a confirmation that amount is sent. But recent days the backlogs of transaction was increasing day to day from 300000 btc transactions to 900000btc transactions pending without confirmation in a very small time scale.
5829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: February 15, 2017, 03:32:14 AM
Considering the recent halving at bitcoin and the price achieved that were 500 dollars, i do believe this year if we stay at 900-1000 dollars its already a good result for bitcoin, at the halving i do believe people will push it to 1200-1400 dollars, but there still 3 years and some months to this happens.
The past years halving took as to a good price increase. Right on halving we haven't got any price increase, but the impact was experienced soon after a short which took place till the year end. This year price is stable above $1000 with fluctuations occurring on some time gap. Thinking of 2017, price might move towards $1500 by the year end if a good increase takes place at the mad year.
5830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union is getting destroyed by Bitcoin in Switzerland on: February 15, 2017, 03:12:47 AM
Western Union is getting destroyed in Switzerland is a simple thing as most were digitalized and knows how to handle it. In the rest of the world the Machine usage is decreased and exchange services were getting priority, because Machines levy high fee. I think in a city in Korea where 20 Machines in use has got reduced to the 3 or 5.
5831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: February 13, 2017, 02:24:29 AM
I have put more into an exchange for betting than I should have in the past. Once you have the funds on that exchange, it's too easy to bet with it. Consequently, I lost more than I had planned to use. I have learned to only keep a small amount of money on those sites.

Don't bet on exchange site. Bet only in casinos which you can see the roll seed, the provably fair casinos only. On another sites it's easy to fraud your game and make you lose money faster as normal.
I have experience with fraudulent casinos online and physical, never bet or believe on them.
In casino's and dice I don't think that most gambling websites will change the roll with fraudulent results. Betting itself on a hope, so whether you can view the roll or not doesn't matter. Luck is the one that decides the result.
5832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: February 13, 2017, 02:10:58 AM
Well, for this, I prefer good luck, because no matter how great you analyze something, but if you're not lucky, then surely the result you will lose. but, it is better to use both of them to make a profit, because luck will not come without great skill. well, skill and luck is complementary.
As said skills is always an important factor, but if luck is found along with skills then one will be successful. Making a profit only with skills is possible rarely but with luck its easy to profit good which makes luck to be the best among skills and luck.
5833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: February 13, 2017, 01:58:23 AM
Bitcoin is reaching high even without much advertising. PayPal could have never reached such high if promoting the service is not perfect. Soon PayPal too might adopt the Blockchain technology at which the competence increases. So can't predict the future of bitcoin against PayPal currently.
5834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Investment: risk or benefit? on: February 13, 2017, 01:44:32 AM
For me it is all the benefits and there is no any risk according to my views as I do not think that btcoin will now collapse and do not think that if governments will impose tax then we will face issues and the tax will not be that much higher for bitcoin. It will have more benefits in the coming future if governments adopt it.
I think the risks and benefits will always coincide. it depends on the patience, skill, etc. if you are not good at managing bitcoin then will you produce a risk that,
The risk of investing with bitcoin is always a better option. To some level it depends upon the skill, patience and so on, but something very important is the country you reside. If the country is with plans of opposing then the risk will be always high.
5835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should governments allow people to pay their taxes in Bitcoin BTC? on: February 13, 2017, 01:31:48 AM
Governments won't initiate steps to provide bitcoin as a payment for the taxes. Legal acceptance is a big factor that is more important when it gets used in a public service. Its better that someone could use it as a service paying government in the form of fiat getting payment in bitcoin.
5836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: February 12, 2017, 02:45:14 AM
Depend what option do you want to grow your money.
Personally I'm choose gamble since investing especially on bitcoin world are riskier than gambling (as my experience taught me )
As long as I'm gamble on legit site, I can afford my loss !
Gambling is very risky and only a few people earning with it, wasting money is not okay even you've said you can afford to lose (unless you're rich) for me investing in casino bankroll is less than risk than playing gambling.

As mentioned gambling is much risky compared to investing through bitcoin. The reason behind the investment risk is the existence of more and more scam investment websites. Gambling has the risk but most of the gambling websites is legit. The luck gives the earning in gambling which is not possible with investment.
5837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will surge to $25,000+ on: February 12, 2017, 02:18:38 AM
I can only see this price in dreams, on real life (on next 3-5 years) i saw it very difficult. Or dollar had a crash on its value, or Bitcoin is used by central banks as store of value (like now they have gold). I don't see it impossible (on next 2 or 3 halvings).
Yeah, price of bitcoin is increasing gradually. But the mentioned $25000 is not gonna happen in reality. The price surge in the past took place in accordance to the China's bitcoin market. This has changed a lot due to the recent inspection took place. Now the growth is the true growth of bitcoin's technology not a fake one to attract corporates or other high profiting sectors.
5838  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: February 12, 2017, 01:51:42 AM
For 3 years that i used paypal way back before,i will say that  Its not a scam ,cause i have not encounteted one to say that paypal is a scam. Paypal is the  most secure online bank  before till i met bitcoin.
I also use PayPal for 4 years already and hadn't any problem with this site ever. I even heard today that they work with bitcoin now, is it true?
PayPal has been used for a long by more users from all parts of the world. Till now only very few have encountered some problem with PayPal. In a recent article one of the founder Thiel stated the working with bitcoin for a futuristic development and get more users.
5839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the japanese bitlicense, way worse than the NY version. on: February 12, 2017, 01:01:30 AM
The licensing will be based upon each country's demand. Japan as a technology developed nation is quite competing in all the sectors. Starting of the year bitcoin experienced a big potential growth providing the price to be stable $1000. This year a sudden increase of merchants accepting bitcoin has got increased.
5840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: February 11, 2017, 03:53:39 AM
I've tried using the analysis to gambling sports such as soccer, basketball, boxing and several other types of sports. But I've experienced is just the same. Opportunities won and lost is same, so I've not been interested in using analysis for gambling and rely more on luck.

But some time your predictions will come true when you are betting with sports, but where as with dice, slots etc analysis will not work. Even i tried strategy with sport many time it worked for me. But we should give up because either in many cases we may won through sports whn compared to gambling.
Yeah as mentioned most of the time people involve into sports event gambling only after making a strategy. We cannot be sure that our strategy always wins. The result will be based upon the luck we have, dice is the one that is completely based upon luck.
