I sent 4 token to NXT-7Y5B-J8LQ-SL5P-3ULFL hours ago and still have not received my unity assets, whats the deal ? I wanted to send the rest but I have not received the test I sent yet.

this has to be manually done and the person in charge should be sleeping right now.

i have my token on nxt ae too, and always received my unitys in a timeframe of less then 24 hours. Smiley

Mister contrarian indicator is back. Time to buy.

Welcome back Mat,

could you tell us if you bought or sold?  Wink
5847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Sha-256/PoW-PoS hybrid/Bounty Opportunities on: September 28, 2014, 03:17:38 AM

Do you understand that when you are staking, the address that stakes is recorded on the blockchain?
so if you stake, your address that staked is recorded
this has nothing to do with your public address
ALL BTCD addresses that stake will get recorded
Each time an address stakes, it will get a share
all shares added up to calculate each addresses proportion
total dividend is divided by number of shares to calculate BTCD per share
each address is allocated its BTCD based on this
BTCD is sent to each address according to the shares

Let us say there are 30000 blocks that staked in a month and 300 BTCD is the total dividend amount. Each staking is thus worth 300/30000 = .01 BTCD. If your addresses staked a total of 55 times, that would be 0.55 BTCD total, but since we dont know who controls what BTCD address, the .55 BTCD would be sent proportionally to each address you have based on the number of times they staked.

I hope this is clear enough

James

James.  I understand how staking works..

Please bear with me.. I must be missing something simple about this...

What about the payments above and beyond the normal staking.. from superNet.

from this doc  http://www.weebly.com/uploads/3/8/5/6/38564127/supernet.pdf

It says that  5% of payments for supernet stuff will go to BTCD stakers---
Quote
5 percent for BTCD stakers, via an associated NXT address

...  are the payments above and beyond the normal staking???

btcd addresses are mapped to nxt addresses.

so what you have to do to get the extra from superNET is stake btcd.
only people who stake btcd will be eligible for the superNET dividends.
you will get the dividends on top of the btcd staking interest which will be transfered to your corresponding nxt address.

i hope this makes it a bit clearer?

Everything James has said about the location of the buy wall has been stated countless times in this thread going back over a week.  All the assets are public and you can do your own math (I have) and see that the buy wall is exactly where it should be.  James has repeatedly said that SuperNET was designed for long term minded investors only.

No one spends the time to research.  Just buy, wait for immediate double, sell, FUD with dummy accounts and buy back - repeat.  Crypto is a fucking shit show I have no idea why I continue to read these threads.  This place is a cesspool.

if these newbie trolls dont stop, we will just move to the superNET forum
i dont have time to waste hours on this. it is just ridiculous today, over the first thing that didnt go exactly as planned due to the deposit being stuck in bter.

so trolls, stop or we just move to where you cant do your garbage

any objections?

James

considering the size of the project and how big it can be when it gains traction it will be definitly wise to move away from bct to the superNET forum in the future.
but i think meanwhile it should still be good to have atleast one (moderated?) thread here, where you can find official information about superNet too.

and yeah i agree, the troll is strong today, the marketplace mod is offline too, that is why it seems a bit ridicilous right now...
5849  Economy / Speculation / Re: My mother's a psychic, here's what she says about BTC on: September 28, 2014, 12:28:46 AM
I must be psychic too, because I concur Smiley

Do you even understand that your examples are all services? You can switch to another service in seconds and the cost of doing so is nearly zero. However, ipv4 had a first mover advantage against other packet transfer methods, inclidung vastly superior ipv6. That is the analogy that anybody who understands anything about bitcoin would make. You don't, so really, just go somewhere for 5 years.

The best analogy I can think of is: Bitcoin is like UUCP, which was invented in 1978 and was actively used for 20 years, then when TCP/IP Internet got popular, UUCP usage dropped, but one of the last legacy UUCP services was shut down only in 2012, although very few people used it since 2000.

Bitcoin now is like UUCP in 1994 when PPP connection protocol was standardized. It can still grow, but not at its prior rate, and new emerging protocols and technologies are on the rise to make it obsolete within a few years. Or even faster than that, as the time it takes to develop technologies has contracted, as numerous examples of late show.

How about this analogy?

Little better, but still misses the point. UUCP to TCP/IP is like Mastercoin is to Bitcoin - a higher level file exchange protocol on top of IP, replaced by FTP or bittorrent now. The underlying protocol, the one whose packets all routers are passing around, did never change and is being painfully upgraded for like 20 years now to overcome deadly limitations in the original implementation. Because infrastructure made tons of assumptions about tcp.ip, much like alot of assumptions about Bitcoin being the main crypto has been already made and are added daily. With each passing day it is less and less likely that bitcoin will ever be replaced by something else.

It will be extended (because it is quite extendable), modified, sure. But the bitcoin blockchain is here to stay and be the main point of reference for a trusted ledger, deal with it.

i see light in the dark, that is a really good explanation!
5850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin: Time for BTC to Bow Down?! or will it stay number one? on: September 28, 2014, 12:23:25 AM
tbh i dont get the anon discussion.

imho when (not if  Grin) bitcoin will succeed it

1. wont take long until btc will adopt some kind of anon solution. like you guys pointed out btc is pseudonymous but for (legal, for illegal even more i guess) big money anonymity will be very important. large copororations and high net worth individuals dont want to / won't share their transaction informations nor their amount of wealth to a public ledger that might be there forever.
Even with rather small ressources you can backtrace alot of stuff, just imagine in the future when new hardware and software is released which will make backtracing alot more easier.

2. will already have some sort of anon solution integrated. (for the same reason i stated above)

Where is the buy wall?
57 BTC deposit stuck on bter, as soon as it is credited the buy wall will be put up. There has been an untouched buywall on NXT AE for days.

Due to such incredible demand for a below market buywall, I have personally just sent 27 BTC to bter and will place a personal buywall at this price. I know I said I wouldnt be buying more UNITY, but this is just incredibly annoying to see the thread polluted with all these requests for the buywall. Please dont start complaining that I am buying UNITY due to this.

As soon as I get credited for my deposit, I will put up the 27 BTC buywall.

James

What will be the target price for the wall?

it will be at 0.0088 BTC, explanation can be found on the first page in the OP

so people bought btc to pump doge you say?  Shocked Roll Eyes

He's claiming people are sending btc to exchanges to pump doge.. that is network transactions, not exchange transactions.

ah that makes more sense

I don't want to quote the troll but after his last message (before last message, he posted another pile of big letters while I was writing) it is quite clear he is at the buyers side,
IMO once his buy order(s) will be filled he will switch to his original account and resume praising this project again.

yes without doubt i agree zz  Roll Eyes

NXT rate 0.00007890 BTC   47088699.1745 = 3715.3 BTC equiv
VRC rate 0.00014073 BTC   435658.49 = 61.31 BTC equiv
VIA rate 0.00029967 BTC   5403 = 1.6191 BTC equiv
CNY rate ¥ 2486 per BTC 713706.73861822 = 287.09 BTC equiv

total BTC equiv = 5737.1589

Due to recent drop in NXT price and it being ~65% of total deposits, it is reduced the NAV a bit.

Assuming the Bonus plan is passed, a total of 816061 SuperNET (UNITY) will be issued with 81606.1 to me and the rest in SuperNET account, with 81606.1 held in reserve until the bonus situations are resolved. The current outstanding UNITY is therefore 652849.2402 and the NAV buywall would be at .0088 BTC.

The asset NAV adds:
InstantDEX   241'485   1'000'000   24.15%   73.99   73.98   17'865'060
NXTcoinsco   241'485   1'000'000   24.15%   38.5   34   8'210'490
NXTprivacy   241'485   1'000'000   24.15%   59   50.5   12'194'992.5
38270542.5 NXT -> 3019.5458 BTC equiv!
I guess during the last week, the 2000 BTC of assets became 3000 BTC

asset BTC equiv = 8756.7047 -> asset NAV = 0.013413 BTC

Secondary market in TOKEN is currently at ~170 NXT which is around .013
this gives an implied marketcap of about 10610 BTC = ~$4.6 million USD or #17 on the combined coinmarketcap

The 3x Bonus threshold is 5737.1589 * 3 = 17211.4767 before end of 2014
The 10x Bonus threshold is 57371.589 before end of 2015
