The stage is set for the Almighty game between France and Morocco, and this match will settle a lot of assumptions and give direction to we're the cup is going since the finals are just a few days ahead. It's hard to predict the team that will win tonight's match even as bookmakers gave Morocco high odds and that doesn't limit the possibility of them winning tonight's match.

5844  Economy / Speculation / Re: US Inflation is 7.1%. Bitcoin price broke $18,000. What's next? on: December 14, 2022, 10:26:45 AM
This is not the first time something like this is happening, and Bitcoin may have a long way to go before any steady recovery the current Bitcoin price pump is not something that is sustainable and if the FED keeps intervening, in the economic recovery control against inflation then the price of Bitcoin will be held down for sometime before we have a sustainable Bitcoin price pump that could sustain above $20,000 Bitcoin price. Bitcoin is going to retain it present a resistant benchmark of $16,000 to $17,000 price for the next few months ahead, most especially now that the impact of all the negativity resulting from FTX bankruptcy and other ugly events will force the price to stay down for a while before recovery will come.
5845  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - 100% Up To 1 Bitcoin On Your First Deposit on: December 13, 2022, 09:26:36 PM
Dear Metaspins developers,

I have issue to fully view the casino, landing page and other pages too with my laptop touchpad. I can not scroll it down to see what is at bottom of pages. Any solution to make it more user friendly with touchpad?

It is fine on mobile but on a laptop, I can not see the scroll bar to scroll it up or down.

Is its color too similar to the background color so I missed it?
The last time I tried, it worked fine for me but on mobile due, am forced to rely solely on mobile for most of the new site. As their work better with mobile browsers than desktop browser unless they really take a close look at the desktop version and come up with new updates that will work fine on any of the operating systems for desktops. But for the time being metaspin work fine on my mobile device and am going to be using that for this season and maybe if the team announced a better version for the desktop version I may consider trying it in the future.
5846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 13, 2022, 08:22:54 PM
Morocco will have a big contender in France because France has the world come to experience that Morocco, and judging from the previous history, France have better percentage of chance walking out of Qatar wit the cup even as some other people are forecasting Morocco to win and are sure bookmakers are going to give Morocco a bigger odds if the make it to the finals without getting knock out from the semifinals round which is more intense that previous round in the world cup. So my prediction is in favor of Franc to win the 2022 FIFA world cup.
5847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bloody Year 2022 coming to End on: December 13, 2022, 07:31:35 PM
History has repeatedly occurred severally and 2022 certainly will go into history as a reminder and as a lesson for future decisions and I hope we have learned to keep our investment from the exchange as most of the negativity of 2022 is from the exchange. Luna coin crash and some of the already mentioned, negative experiences of this year 2022. With more caution, we can avoid being victims of similar incidents of scam investment and wrong trust on exchange to safeguard our balance, there is not much difference between exchange and centralized bank institutions their all take control of your balance and they have the right to do whatever the want with your balance with them. Bitcoin offers us the right to be anonymous and private and its blockchain can be accessed by all without any restrictions unlike centralized marketplace where users must go through the process of KYC before operating them. Even though the year 2022 is coming to and end, instead of celebrating its ugly exit we should focus more on the lessons we have learned and try to avoid making similar mistakes in the future.
5848  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽🎮🎲 Coinplay.com | Brand New Crypto Sportsbook & Casino on: December 13, 2022, 01:25:46 PM
It is very important to follow all the rules of casino. Coinplay.com  is working and it is playing with its users.
If you have any problems with casino it is necessary to sovle them with casino but not with bitcointalk thread of casino.
I think you may have gotten something wrong,  I am well aware of the fact that scam and other casino account issues on bitcointalk but again I have seen some issues relating to account issues and withdrawal issues have gained the utmost attention of the casino operator with the help of forum users. The fact is reading the terms and conditions of casinos is very important and before you make deposits at any casino make sure you have studied the T&C of the site to know if you can comply with them.

Cashless Economy Wahala
The other day, I comot with my guys go one Lounge for we area to watch one of the world cup games. Normally, we buy some drinks as we dey watch the game. After the match end, e reach time to make  payment with our bank card, na so the waiter talk say if we wan make payment using their POS we go add N100 for charge. She talk say na so e be. Las las we nor wan talk too much, we pay the extra N100 charge o.

The whole thing come make me dey think say e be like say this cashless economy thing get as e be o. Because e just go against wetin I feel say na how cashless economy suppose be. How I go pay extra charge because say I wan use POS pay for wetin I buy?
How una see am. Anybody don experience this kind thing before?
Bros make I ask you, your bill dey above #10k?
The answer is no, so why didn't any of you guys hold spear cash like 5k to 10k which is less than the daily withdraw of 20k which is way less than your bill for the day. The question we should ask ourselves, is how many Nigerians leave above #20,000 a day for daily needs, the answer is that inside 100% only 30% fall into this category, the remaining 70% fall into the category of those that spend less than #20,000 daily. With that we should know that this new monetary policy will check mate so many things in the economy, and even price of good will reduce because our currency will have value internally. Another thing I will like you to note is, this new monetary financial policy from CBN will eliminate the place of pos and replace it with e-payment such as scan and pay which can take any amount through electronic banking. So no body go need pos and even if there is need the fees will be less since there is less cash in the economy.
5850  Economy / Gambling / Re: Spiroll.app V2 Available! - New Crypto Casino - $10 Signup Bonus! on: December 12, 2022, 09:05:25 PM
We care about users' privacy. That's why we don't require KYC from users.

This response means you are 100% non-KYC casino which is a good thing, and what most members here always look out for from a casino and spiroll being a brand-new casino will definitely attract the right audience from this forum being a private site that does not require any form of verification from players. All the same, you will still need to spend time to build your reputation and a good way to do that is by offering some bonus like you already did $10 welcome bonus is good enough to attract new players that will give out feedback in the coming week.
5851  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 12, 2022, 08:01:56 PM

I.e imagine you want to buy a car of one million naira, that means as an individual, you have to wait for good 10 weeks to complete a transfer of just only one million naira (#100k weekly).  Too bad.

Abeg, make we dey try understand tinx B4 we dey criticise it. Dis new withdrawal policy I beliv d policy go help country to taku insecurities and corruption flow.

* make we no sai we fit transfer one billion if we like,u fit spend one million in a day if you like but it must b traceable by use of cheque, transfer, pos.

*u must not have more than 20, 000 naira cash with u in a day. Imagine if robber now no sai they can't get more than 50,000 thousand naira with family, with all their efforts. How many go dey play Dat risk game?

* imagine if kidnappers no sa they go wait for 30 years to collect Ransome of 10 million naira only. and then go  have to five 10 years to deposit it in their account to be able to use it. Na big wahala for dem

Abeg make na give dis policy chance,It will b gud for our economy and security.

SOKO-DEKE make I be the first person  to congratulate you here on your full member rank, try wear avatar make you see how e feels to wear one. am always excited to see members coming up and attaining new ranks.
Back to the topic of discussion, let me make a quick point of clarity, the #20k daily limit on withdrawal does not mean only 20k can be withdrawn in a day but there is another part that stated that if individual want to withdraw above that amount there will be subject to pay 5%-10% processing fees. Alot of Nigerians don't read the thing before they react to them and social media also have not helped the matter with fake news all around instead of spreading awareness about the new policy, they're busy complicating issues and trying to confuse the gullible public.
5852  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fun13.com seeding event on: December 12, 2022, 04:50:29 PM
The default language on the site is Chinese, which points to where the casino originates from, but there is options to select other languages from the list on the drag down. I did not make any attempt to create an account on the casino yet simply because I will like to read some replies from the admin, and getting more clarity on the site operation also reviews from members of the forum also will influence my decision to either create an account or not. But all the same you guys are welcome to the forum.
5853  Economy / Gambling / Re: Spiroll.app V2 Available! - New Crypto Casino - $10 Signup Bonus! on: December 12, 2022, 04:22:19 PM
Welcome to the forum and I look forward to see more development from the team, as you already know, always double check whatever you are doing before making it public at whatever time. And ok you made a honest mistake which made the first poster on this thread to declare scam attempt since the amount on the bankroll does not comply with max win, but whichever ways it's ok you have clear things but I will like to know if your casino is a KYC compliance casino as many of us here are more free with decentralized casinos even though we just have few of such casino around lately. Before we hand over our ID to the casino we should at least know their reputation for some time before doing that.
5854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ftx who and when Will fund losses ? What's the further plan ? on: December 12, 2022, 05:51:46 AM
Two things that is not a possible resolution in the FTX situation:
1. Getting a bank or government bailout.
2.  Issuing of new tokens to cover up for the loses
FTX crash is one of the world's biggest attack on the cryptocurrency market even though the amount in total is not up to some scam amount front he industry, but FTX impact goes beyond the exchange itself and it has affected other smaller projects whose funds have been locked up by FTX resulting into the crash of those businesses and this has accumulated amounted into a huge amount of capital loss. Bank bailout or government bailout is out of the options available to customers to look for possible resolution since investors have always been warned to avoid cryptocurrency investment because of the risk associated with such investments and that is why countries don't list cryptocurrency among the securities and asset policies. So the bank is a centralized financial institution that will not get involved in this and considering the amount involved in the FTX scam only a few banks have such reserve to settle the balance if their ever attempt to.
2. Token issuance is not also good advice, and we have seen a fallout of such action with luna where the token luna classic was created by the developer to recover the crashed Luna but up till now version 2 has become a shitcoin also with no positive growth. So token issuance is also not a good idea.
5855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange will go out of business if every Bitcoin is hold in private wallet on: December 11, 2022, 07:51:07 PM
Yeah, but this is a hypothetical that won't happen.  As much as most abhor CeFi, there will always be a place for it in terms of newbies, arbitrage, and establishing markets which in turn helps establish value, liquidity, and adoption.
You have a point and I hope the ops will look I to that direction and come to a conclusion that Bitcoin can not witness the adoption we glamour for if it doesn't have to go through exchanges, we can not underestimate the place of exchange for crypto access, the exchange has made access to Bitcoin fast and easy even in a restricted region exchange allow Bitcoin p2p trading which allows newbies have direct access to the bitcoin market. Exchanges may have hard their bad influence on the cryptocurrency industry most especially the centralized exchange who has been nothing but tools in the hands of regulators and CEOs who act unilateral against the customer's will and have 100% control over the balance on the exchange.
5856  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin high prediction 2023? on: December 11, 2022, 07:23:06 PM
What cycle should we expect to see the price start picking, most investors are aiming toward Bitcoin halving to be the starting point of the uptrend movement, but then we must wait it out to see the outcome of the whole event and also that could take up to a year to fully reflect on the market price of Bitcoin. Just as mentioned by others who have commented on the thread, it's an impossible thing to do trying to speculate the timeframe for a cycle in Bitcoin. No doubt Bitcoin's previous chats are there to take note of previous events and cyclical movement but at what point exactly will the dimensional movement start is what most analysts failed to predict rightly, on a general note, I commend your general buying technique weekly accumulation of Bitcoin will help you reduce the risk of decline market movement after buying but accumulating on a steady base will also help you maximize the profit on a short term base, so whatever direction the Bitcoin market goes you will be in a an an encouraging conditions.

NEWS UPDATE: House of reps orders CBN to halt new cash withdrawal limit

Following the announcement wey CBN make, say dem wan limit the withdrawal of cash to N20,000 daily and N100,000 weeky for individuals and N100,000 daily and N500,000 weekly for organisations wey suppose take place on 9 Jan 2023. The house of reps no gree at all about this recent infoment, and as a result them don order CBN to stop the implementation of this new policy and them don send the CBN governor Godwin Emefiele letter make him appear before the house on 15 December 2022, make him come torchlight about the new policy and tell them why dem go allow am to stand.

https://community.thenationonlineng.net/forum/breaking-house-of-reps-orders-cbn-to-suspend-new-cash-withdrawal-?xg_source=twitter

Government say na only ATM go dey remit 2,2 hundred Naira note oh dem no say POS follow and beside POS na individual businesses wey fit dey remit any denomination wey dem want meaning businesses go dey go well for dem.
And where POS people go get all the denomination of money wey them go give customers just like you said Sir Brainboss? Abi you forget say na people wey dey do POS business dey withdraw the highest volume on A.T.M daily?  Because this new policy will really affect slot of businesses and most especially P.O.S that have created over 1 million jobs all around the federation.
But the only solution to this will be if CBN limit only cash withdrawal, while making mobile transactions unlimited whereby a user can transfer over a million naira daily without restrictions, then this will be a success. But in a scenerio whereby this also affect our daily transfer limit to only #20,000 while weekly #100,000, then that means our economy is dome.

I.e imagine you want to buy a car of one million naira, that means as an individual, you have to wait for good 10 weeks to complete a transfer of just only one million naira (#100k weekly).  Too bad.
CryptoHeadlineNews it seems you have misunderstood some part of the new CBN policy on withdrawal limit via the counter and on POS, in your last paragraph you mentioned a scenario where a citizen wants to buy car and transaction will take 10 weeks. Note the limit is not include bank transfers so if you have an account where you can transfer more than 1 million in a single transaction why not you can do that, the only limit is when you want to take cash, the whole concept is to promote a cashless society which has been an initiative since 2012. One of the things people failed to mention each time is the other column of the policy that stated that if a citizen wants to withdraw an amount above twenty thousand nairas will pay fees of %5 and 10% respectively. That means citizens have not restricted to only a daily 20k per day withdrawal but can withdraw above that amount if they are ready to pay the fees which will become taxes for the government.
5858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: December 10, 2022, 08:11:42 PM
The market outlook right now is full of mixed reactions and most speculators have run out of data to be used to aid their right prediction of the market direction, December will not be different from any other month in this year 2022 and if care is not taken and Bitcoin does not regain it previous Price benchmark of above $25,000 before the end of this year 2022, the next year 2023 will still face the same market uncertainty that we faced in this year 2022 even though some other events such as the various hacked and the crash also contributed to pin the price of Bitcoin down to this level.

At this point, I will advise everyone to stay off this site since the site has already shown some signs of potential crisis, which has to do with reputation, I think the admin will have a lot to do to clear off all these issues as it regards their reputations. And as a new platform that needs a good number of positive reviews a lot needs to be done to make that happen, I can see the ops is very active but I have not really seen any updates or improvements on the site development which is something we all look forward to on this space there is always a room for improvement and growth.
5860  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 10, 2022, 06:33:20 PM
Dis wan wey Nigerian Securities Regulator e remove Crypto in their Digital Asset Agenda, how dem wan take achieve their goals. There are some policies dat Nigerian financial institutions would brought to the public that would still against them. Nigerian Government is bringing all these e-transaction policies bcos of cryptocurrency (bitcoin) which is massively use by the youths. But the problem I am seeing from the government perspective is that, they want to control the crypto system in the country but they could not, so they are bringing different ways.
Excluding cryptocurrency from exchange platforms will not move the market in di way they want. Read more here

Nigeria is not the first country to have excluded cryptocurrency from the digital asset policy, and the main reason why countries could not include cryptocurrency as part of assets on their stock exchange is because of the decentralized nature of some of the cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. As we already know, decentralized cryptocurrency can not be controlled by the government so including it in the list of digital assets will be like opening up their economy to be exposed to many viruses in the crypto 🏭 industry. The highest the government can do in line with adopting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is through regulation of crypto services such as centralized exchanges and other platforms. To be frank with you, I don't think the Nigeria government has any plan as regards to cryptocurrency adoption and if you have checked carefully, the recent monetary policy that result in redesigning the Naira and limit of cash withdrawals were all done with out careful observation of the role decentralized digital currency will play to avoid this restriction and how the CBN policy is an advantage to crypto users most especially Bitcoin that is decentralized. I think to help widen our understanding of some of the topics as regards to the new Nigeria monetary policy we should try to bring in some statistical tools and data to support our discussion so that it can help give readers a better understanding of the policies and how it works rather than focusing on one direction which is the norms with Nigerian to always kick against every government policy even though they can't avoid it, I think it will be more profiting to focus our attention in analyzing new policy and see how we can work our ways around it and what options are open to us as citizens in government policies.
