5841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MetaMask for Ethereum Crosses 1,000,000 User Milestone on: May 07, 2020, 04:07:17 PM
It doesn't matter how many of the users are active, or it doesn't even matter if some of them are double, even I have three metamask accounts because on early days I opened one to get some token and I took that money and withdraw and cashed it out to bitcoin and didn't looked back, deleted metamask and just moved on.

After a while I realized cryptokitties could be a decent investment and started another account and did some cryptokitties thing, felt like it wasn't really worth it and stopped and deleted again. Now I have another one that is last and not really doing anything with it but keeping it. The deal here is that they reached 1 million users while others didn't, others could had non-active users or double triple account users but they couldn't reach 1 million while metamask did reached it.
5842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash what are your thoughts? on: May 07, 2020, 02:40:58 PM
Some miners who were not making enough money with bitcoin because it is moving towards segwit nowadays and spending less on miners and fee's, and it is even moving towards lightning network nowadays which will be a lot less, so these miners decided that they want to change bitcoin to a system that will pay the miners a lot of money to make themselves rich.

When they failed they hard forked bitcoin and started bitcoin cash to make that extra income but they didn't realized they would need to spend a lot of mining power and a lot of money to keep it alive so right now they can't stop because that would be millions of dollars gone, but they can't sustain it forever neither, so they are hoping that it would eventually make more profits than the loss and eat the loss just to make it work until it profits.
5843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: May 07, 2020, 02:03:56 PM
When people are saying do not leave your money on exchanges they are not trying to say don't do it while trading, how could you trade without having money on your exchange, of course you are going to put it there. The thing is, when you want to trade, just check beforehand and see if you could withdraw, lets say you want to trade with 10k, put in 100 dollars and make some trades and withdraw, after that put all that 10k and make your trades and when your trades are over just withdraw your money and stop. Even if you are a big time trader, just never leave it there when you are not trading.

Put the money in when trading, take it out when not trading, thats the secure method. Is it still dangerous because you could lose all your money while trading and they get hacked at that moment? Sure, but at least its a lesser possibility than just leaving there forever.
5844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO not becoming to be worst than ICO, any future for bounty hunters? on: May 07, 2020, 12:03:11 PM
I think the whole point of non-profit of these type of IEO is the fact that you are helping someone, even if the price falls it doesn't mean anything, you shouldn't expect to make money, you are just helping a situation. Also there are so many IEO right now that not really all of them makes sense anymore, I mean I could start an IEO right now and definitely will find a place to list as well. There is no way all the IEO's could make a profit for you, some of them will be worthless and you will lose money from it.

It made sense when it was rare and when only the really good ones got listed, nowadays it became like ICO where anyone can do it. And exchanges realized that they could list as much as they can and make more money so they are not picky anymore.
5845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 06, 2020, 07:24:07 PM
Media have been always like that, and won't ever change, you know, in media popularity counts as money, and so whatever gets eyeball and eyeball would bring them dollars even if it is uncalled. And in addition, even the individuals always make weird stuff in the net, on whoever gets popular at a current time. They exaggerate everything, they pull claims that sometimes doesn't even have a single connection, make a story and all. The bad thing is that sometimes, the community gets easily swayed by such false information without even checking the real narrative behind.
I think between media being so harsh on him, his father being murdered just at the off-season, the Olympics that tired him so much, dude just had too much on his plate.

Moreover, everyone thinks it is awesome to be a superstar, an icon like him but the documentary shows that dude basically didn't lived at all, he was living like a machine, just going to practice, going to do charity stuff, go meet with sick kid at the front row, go sign some papers, go meet with the fans, start the game, end the game, talk with media again, and after all of that, all of that is over, he gets to his hotel room and lights up a cigar and that is the only time he can relax.

Is it worth it? Sure in the end I am sure it worths it, it must be rewarding, but after a while you can't deny that being that successful limiting what you want to do and what you can do must suck, you are the most famous person in the world with tens of millions of dollars in the bank but you just go from hotel to hotel and game to game, must be terrible feeling.
5846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some People Cannot Stop The Urge To Sports Betting And Gamble Even In Pandemic on: May 06, 2020, 05:37:56 PM
We can't really judge those people as long as they are not doing something horrible to their life. As long as they can afford to gamble, and it is just a hobby that doesn't hurt their finances I think it is understandable. Plus, think about it these people are used to gambling on sports, and now they are all stuck at home and quite bored, what do you expect them to do? Just not play and move on?

It will be even harder right now compared to before, at least before they were going to work and were a bit busy, now they are fully doing nothing at all and yet people expect them to not gamble on anything. Obviously they are going to find something, it could be tajikistan or something but they will find it and they will gamble on it no matter what it is.
5847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid being cheated by altcoin developer on: May 06, 2020, 04:39:42 PM
If I hire a developer to create a fork of Bitcoin with a small premine. How do I make sure I get my premine and that the developer hasn't ripped me off. Is there a way to know for sure that I have received my premine? What would be the steps when launching the network to verify the developer hasn't done anything 'tricky'? Thanks!
There is really not a "sure" way to know beforehand, they will do it and they will give it to you and that is how you learn if they cheated you or not. Technically of course, otherwise just get in the same room with them, watch them work and basically be on top of them everyday to make sure they do not cheat you from anything.

However, I have always said that incorporate if you want to do big business stuff. If you incorporate you will have the rights to get all the information you need from the people you work with, so if they cheat you or do something you can literally call the cops and start a legal action with ALL their info as well, in that case they will not want to scam you because if they do everyone will be looking for them and they will go to jail, nobody would want to do that. So if you want to make sure, become a company and hire a lawyer.
5848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe to join campaign does not mean rewarding campaign on: May 06, 2020, 02:44:47 PM
This year, in abid to join the best bounties around to flex the time; several peeps have highlighted numerous bounty programs and tagged them safe due to the team reputation, the projects product output, and because it is listed on a reputable.

It has given different results, with Hex price skyrocketing, while burn and spyce struggles; And the safe sheng also removed kyc as requirements.
I urge every hunter, to realize that while selecting safe bounties to join; also join because you will get profits from trading your rewards.

Do your researches, evaluate your chances of earning well; before joining.
It is literally the opposite of that. I have seen a campaign that paid in bitcoin once, they were paying incredibly small, this company collected about 13 million dollars in funding and was giving away 1k of that to 100 people, that means 10 dollars per person and that's it, no upside but no downside. Do you know how many people wanted to join? Last I checked it had like 160 pages of people who are still trying to get in even though it is probably over for two years now.

So, you can give people 10 USDT because you know that won't change and you will still get a thousand people applying, 10 bucks is 10 bucks and you are still getting an insane amount of marketing out of it as well, giving away your own money doesn't make sense neither because people will just sell it and ruin the coin so 10 usdt is much better option for the project as well.
5849  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining: Halving will destroy the half of us. on: May 06, 2020, 02:06:11 PM
First of all the miners usually work at places that have very very cheap electricity or even free electricity in exchange of paying taxes. And I think it makes sense, if the electricity provided for you is state owned that means they are going to give you electricity for free in order to get taxes from you in exchange, no need to double the cost because the more you earn the more you pay in taxes anyway, so it is both like a way to help and support miners but also still get something in return.

Secondly the machines always gets better and better, sure they are not making profit right now but look like they are not making much profit when the halving happens but between the difficulty changes and the better machines coming up I am sure they are going to be alright in the future.
5850  Economy / Economics / Re: The U.S. economy contracted sharply in the first quarter of 2020 on: May 06, 2020, 10:31:45 AM
There is also an increase nowadays which could be understood as the recovery. There was obviously a fall and we couldn't expect anything else honestly. Think about it the pandemic happened and people were stuck at home, what were you expecting them to do? Go out and spend money? There is no way to earn money or spend money right now if you are expandable and there was a lot of people who were expandable for a job, sure you are needed to grow and get bigger, but to survive you weren't needed, to survive only a handful of people is enough for many places.

So, this was an expected drop. It doesn't mean that the system works, system doesn't work and it showed us a lot of times before, only a decade ago or so we were in another drop, but just because the system is crooked for the wealthy and it doesn't work for us doesn't mean that this wasn't expected.
5851  Economy / Speculation / Re: One block left until final difficulty change before reward halving on: May 06, 2020, 08:48:38 AM
There is a ton of new level machines coming up which I assume is the main reason why we got that increase, normally there are smaller miners who have under 50 machines that probably started to close off and many will close after the halving as well so the difficulty will drop, I do not see it going any higher after this one because not many people will be capable of making a profit from it.

However one thing is for sure, people will want to make the cent they could, even if its just a cent, even if its breaking even, people will try their best at whatever machines they have to mine. After the halving though, I do not see too many old machines making it work, there will be people who are closing down shop because of the halving, and even the big whales will need better machines for sure.
5852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could we see another breakout now? 🤔 on: May 06, 2020, 06:19:37 AM
I don't think that $9k would be a "break out" I mean sure it is an increase and I would love to see the price going over 9k but the word "breakout" usually is used for stuff like going 20% higher or something. Just to give an example break out is also used for breaking out of jail, like being stuck somewhere for logn time and then getting away from it in general. Price reaching to 9k right now wouldn't be like break out of jail, it would be more like getting out of your cell to the jail court and walking a bit more freely but still being in the jailhouse limits without breaking out.

To say that we are on a break out we should be around like over 10k right now. More likely scenario would be price going close to 8k first and then breaking out to over 9k after only that.
5853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to see all-time high with halving approaching? on: May 05, 2020, 08:11:01 PM
Bitcoin is not really something we can be predicting about that easily, it is definitely a challenge whenever a move happens, so I can't really say it will happen or it won't happen honestly because it is a very difficult thing to do.

However if I was given one prediction to make about it, I say inside 12 months after the halving we are going to see the 20k broken easily. I can't really explain to you why I assume as such other than the old "its going to be less" reason because that's all I need. I mean think about it, there is going to be so much less bitcoin in the market being sold, that has to count for something. In some perspective thinking, I guess that just because there is less bitcoin doesn't really mean anything big, there is billions in trading right now, so few millions wouldn't change too much, but those few millions combined could make something.
5854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is day trading is good in crypto market? on: May 05, 2020, 06:07:16 PM
Depending on the day, day trading could be a lot of fun and a great way to make money, it is not really that easy to make day trading your job, it requires a lot of capital and a lot of constant stream of income as well. So, you have yourself a job that you have to put a lot of money into, which I think is normal for every job that you start, and there are times you make money but there are a lot of days where you do not neither, which is like revenue for companies as well.

So, being a day trader in crypto is not like a "job" you would have but more like a company you create, basically you own your own company by being a day trader and the only person you hired is yourself so that company profits depends on how you do in the trading as well.
5855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Copy Trading help you make enough to cover your bills? on: May 04, 2020, 07:00:23 PM
Well, I assume they realize the point of risk while talking about this and they are promoting anyway because in life when you are talking about doing absolutely nothing and still making a profit, we all know there must be a huge amount of risk involved. Here you are shifting the blame and responsibility to someone else and you are taking no accusation of losing all your money yourself.

Just give your money to someone else basically and let them trade for you, obviously with precautions and such , not like actually giving them your money, but still basically the same idea. At one point I agree that if you are a horrible trader, finding a better trader could be easier, but at the other point I do not really want to give my financial future to someone else.
5856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 04, 2020, 06:06:05 PM
Seth curry was literally the second highest 3%pt before the season was ended short, the only player who shot better than him was George Hill and he shot half as much as Seth, while Seth has 300 shots, George had 150, give him another 150 shots and I see him going under Seth for sure. Seth was also third in 3%pt last season, he was only behind Danny Green who somehow had a career year with Raptors when he joined them, and Joe Harris who we all know is a laser sharpshooter. So long story short Seth is an unbelievable three point shooter, so is Steph, I don't know whats up with that family but they know how to shoot.

Obviously we would all prefer Steph if presented with the choice, but if I can get Seth on my team, any team, I would, dude just makes a big big big threat on three point line that not many people can, so he has this auro to him that draws defenders to him, that is always super important.
5857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 03, 2020, 05:59:22 PM
I really like Watford and to me the league should continue Cheesy. I don't know if watford will be going out of regulation zone, if the season doesn't get completed I really hope at least they won't finish it like this, just keep the teams there and do not regulate them at all. That way watford is guaranteed to not go down, better idea to me actually instead of continue to play Cheesy. Guess the best way to find out is time, we gonna have to wait and see whats going to happen.

Even if league continues I think watford has a good chance to stay, if it doesn't continue it hurts Liverpool more than any other team, they could have been over 100 points by now, so lets hope league reopens and we can see a very record breaking and historical season. Historical because both points but also corona Cheesy.
5858  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing The HalvingGame.com: Put your money where your mouth is! on: May 02, 2020, 06:24:36 PM
I think the idea is solid, however not sustainable, we are talking about something that will happen in about 10 days and after that?
There is really nothing to do is there. That is why I do not really see a sustainability and maybe that is why people are weary and finding it suspicious.

Not because it looks scammy or anything like that, if this was a game that happens in an already existing website for example, people would play there with no issue at all because they are basically making money in many many different methods as well, and this would be just an addition to their game list. However when you have only one thing and that is the only thing you will make money from and that thing will eventually ends, that means it is not really a website forever.
5859  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♦🎮🎲💹 NITROGEN SPORTS | Simulated Games, Poker, Casino, and more! ♦🎮🎲💹 on: May 01, 2020, 05:44:45 PM
I didn't know you guys were doing your own sim games at all, that is actually quite cool to see, I have checked the blog and I can see that its fair game for all, is there a way to watch the games as well? I mean normally when we play on the real games we watch the real games, however on sims it is harder to watch the games as well, it becomes a challenge because it is only shown once somewhere and its gone since it is not real.

Maybe having a method to stream the game live and watching it, afterwards being able to watch it again would do the trick, Twitch is awesome for stuff like that and looking at how big nitrogensports is, I can actually sense that you guys could bring in a partnership as well, it doesn't require too much to become partners, at bare minimum you can be affiliated at worst.
5860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most gamblers can never hold onto big bag? on: April 30, 2020, 06:15:58 PM
Most of us probably would stop at making like 1 ethereum, let alone reach to 30 ethereum levels, all in all this person knows their limits and tested it and failed, now at least they learned something. I had something similar back in the day, not as big as him obviously because I am not that rich at all, but it was the same idea with the amount I had so it works out pretty similar.

I had a certain amount of money I earned from somewhere that I could have used very well, but it was from a casino so they put it on my account and instead of withdrawing like a smart person I gambled with it instead and earned more than 6 months of salary for me, and I lost it all of it. It really teaches you to be more careful about gambling and never had similar problem ever again.
