5841  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.com - API Scam? on: February 11, 2020, 08:49:31 PM
I think unused addresses(No transaction being made yet) will not show in your blockchain wallet.

What wallet actually you currently using?

I suggest you switch to another payment gateway if you feel that blockchain is cheating(I'm not actually using them for accepting payment).

The best option is BTCpayserver if your website is customize built you can follow this guide "Using the BTCPay API for Custom Integration"

You can find other option from here "Awesome list of Bitcoin Payment Processor"
5842  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: My Electrum wallet just got hacked for $35k+ on: February 11, 2020, 08:02:38 PM
There's no way to take them back and the above post might be right but you can report it to the local authorities. Since it's a big money it might be help to track down your bitcoin.

The bad thing you did here is you save the seed backup in Evernote which is an online app. So, you place your backup in a risky online app and Evernote is only using for taking note, archiving or use for task management. It's not built for saving important files.

Next time don't save your important file online. I suggest you if you are going to save your backup seed write them down on the piece of paper or any offline devices. Which is not connected to the internet or buy a hardware wallet instead.
5843  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Laptop broke down with company bitcoin wallet - restore it please! on: February 11, 2020, 12:31:24 AM
It seems that you are using Blockonomics payment gateway from your website the design looks the same as Blockonomics and already tried it. You have a problem with your payment gateway according to the error result when testing it.

I think while your laptop is broken much better make a temporary wallet to setup your Blockonomics payment gateway. Or follow what suggested above and get your wallet file under this path \Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Electrum\wallets then copy them and import it to your new laptop or PC.

If you have backup seed phrase physically you can import them to a new wallet then get your xPub key again and paste it blockconomics. If you don't know or forgot how to setup it again you can follow this guide "The Easy Way To Accept Bitcoin Payments On Wordpress".

I think if your HDD is fine you don't need to worry about your wallet since you still use the old xPub even your wallet is offline you can still receive payment from your website.
5844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why 2 address types in Testnet Bitcoin QT console and "Receive Tab"? on: February 10, 2020, 11:59:56 PM
Check this post on how to generate multiple addresses at once from here "Generate Multiple Wallet Addresses"

Try to add this on bitcoin.conf
Code:
addresstype=legacy
changetype=legacy
Then generate a new address using getnewaddress command.

Don't forget to make a backup of bitcoin.conf in case you experience some issue you can revert it back.
5845  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 4.0.0.a0 - New Feature on: February 10, 2020, 10:28:10 PM
OMG it works

But the weird thing is that the old one(The file that you sent to me a few days ago) the lightning button appears but when trying to click it doesn't work unlike the one that includes the "libsecp256k1".

Edit: Weird,
Now both of them works.

I'm going to test it on BTCpay in testnet mode.
5846  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Please, Snow Panther Miner A1 but no hashrate on: February 10, 2020, 09:48:31 PM
thank you for your information but i have a new question.
i have bitfily A1 49th but i dont have any hashrate i dont know why? the PSU No is not active but all the fans and hashbord and mainboard is ON and working even i can see all the 6 hashbord on my status.

also i send a pic of my status.
https://pasteboard.co/ITUjpij.jpg

can you help me?

It seems that you are mining on the ViaBTC pool.
Did you try to check your pool setup?

Check it if there are some extra space or character delete it or replace the pool server to any of this

- stratum+tcp://btc.viabtc.com:443
- stratum+tcp://bitcoin.viabtc.com:443

Change the port(443) to 25 or 3333 if it still doesn't work. Then update here.
5847  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 4.0.0.a0 - New Feature on: February 10, 2020, 08:29:17 PM

EDIT2:

The answer is yes... the Windows binaries appear to function the same Wink

How? Did you recompile them that includes "libsecp256k1-dev" for Windows?

If ever please give me another copy let me test it on Windows 7 if it will work.

I can't find the lightning option in wallet>information>lightning so maybe it will appear if it includes the "libsecp256k1" additional file.
5848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trade Managers on: February 09, 2020, 10:03:03 PM
Hello. Can anyone recommend a reputable successful trade manager for crypto and the fee charged? Thank you!

What exactly you are looking for a management tool or someone who can manage your crypto?

Like the above said it's not safe to give someone permission to access and handle your crypto.

You don't need them actually you can manage your crypto by your self with the help of some tools below.

- Gekko trading bot = OpenSource and 100% free
- Crypto market cap Android app = A tool where you can manage and track your portfolio and get the latest price data of bitcoin and altcoins and many features.
- Blockfolio - Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Tracker it is likely the same as crypto market cap.

If you have all of this you can manage your crypto trade without the help of other managers/someone. And they are 101% free
5849  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Multi crypto wallet for Android version 4 on: February 09, 2020, 08:38:26 PM
I think he can still use a Bitcoin wallet for Android version 4 but for Multi crypto you can find any that will work on Android 4.

For Bitcoin, I suggest to check Electrum old version I think Around 2.7.x or 2.6 version you can give this link to him below
- https://download.electrum.org/

Then tell him to download APK from 2.7.x folder or 2.6.x folder. Since the old version of Electrum is no longer connected to Electrum servers he can only use it as an offline wallet(Airgap wallet) but still, he can receive bitcoin and make a transaction from coinb.in/#newTransaction and broadcast it on coinbin or any pool (With pushtx feature).

It is good as cold storage but it takes a lot of time on making transactions. It is not likely the same as an online wallet where you can just set and send the BTC to the receiver.
5850  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Trouble Compiling Windows Binaries on: February 09, 2020, 07:31:44 PM
Weird It should be work on Windows 10 both HCP and nc50lc also use Windows 10 but they never got this error.

What version of Windows 10 you currently using? You might need to update it to the latest version.

How about try to rename it then cut and paste it to another folder or desktop then try again?
Or try to change the compatibility to Windows 7 or 8 just test it and lets if it will work.

If not share the compiled version to me through PM in RAR file I can test it on VirtualBox.
5851  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Trouble Compiling Windows Binaries on: February 08, 2020, 10:45:09 PM
Try to whitelist it on Windows Defender and let see if it will work.
Windows defender might be detected as malware so whitelisting it might help.

This one same issue as yours when trying to open Electrum "Windows cannot find: error while opening Electrum"

You can try to follow the solution under that link.

I have a copy of the alpha version of Electrum compiled by HCP a few days ago and it's working fine if you want I can share it with you through pm(To test if your compiled Electrum is broken while building.)
5852  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoind on kubernetes on: February 08, 2020, 07:00:55 PM
I'm not familiar with Kubernetes but I found a guide in Google which I think will help you to run Bitcoind properly on Kubernetes.

Here's the full guide below.

- How to Manage Your Full Nodes — Part 2: Managing Containers with Kubernetes
5853  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Gear "auto redirect" option missing on: February 08, 2020, 01:23:19 AM
It seems that they remove this "auto-redirect" option from their widget/gateway creation page. I can't find that option in my end.

I found a guide from youtube but it includes the auto-redirect option look https://youtu.be/bfvZk_6o0Gc?t=399

Why not try to contact mycelium gear support you can use this email: gear.support@mycelium.com

Are you using CMS(Wordpress or drupal) on your website or it's a custom website?

Much better to switch to another payment gateway I suggest you try BTCpayserver
or other payment gateway listed from here https://github.com/alexk111/awesome-bitcoin-payment-processors
5854  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How do I properly set up a server as a bitcoin wallet? on: February 07, 2020, 11:08:50 PM
An update,

I successfully set up a firewalled server running Electrum. It wasn't as hard as I though it would be and it's very lightweight, the whole system taking half of the 1GB of memory I gave the server.

What has intrigued me is that it has generated a lot of wallet addresses for me. I'm looking at about 20 right now. Wouldn't one be enough? Why are all of those addresses needed?

The 20 addresses from Electrum is auto-generated by default. One address is enough but if you don't want to use the other address just leave them there no matter what address you use it still your wallet. The important is to save the seed phrase backup somewhere safe.

But if you want to use only one address you can export one address from the Electrum wallet.
Here's how to export and import them.
- Choose any address you want then right-click then click private key.
- Copy it and save somewhere safe.
- Now, you can use the private key to import it on the same wallet by going to file on the top right of Electrum then New/Restore
- Make a new name of your wallet file then next
- Choose "import bitcoin addresses or private keys" then paste your backup private key
- Then next add the password to encrypt your wallet file.
- Done

It is just for an alternative if you want a single wallet and if you don't want to see all addresses generated by Electrum.
5855  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wacthing only wallet on: February 07, 2020, 08:53:52 PM
~snip~
criptomixer.bz

Where did you get this website?

It's not the cryptomixer site this is the right URL https://[banned mixer]/ and here is the announcement thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1484009.0

If you don't have the seed or private key your bitcoin is lost forever. There's no way to retrieve them back it is not the same as PayPal.

What I see here is you are trying to promote a fake cryptomixer?
5856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best place to learn and practice Blockchain? on: February 07, 2020, 07:41:26 PM
Just additional from the above posts. I have a bookmark link before with a huge list of programming guides related to the blockchain that I think will help you much to learn blockchain. I'm sure you will like it and it is 100% free.

Here's the link https://github.com/openblockchains/awesome-blockchains and this https://github.com/yjjnls/awesome-blockchain

It includes the list of different programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Crystal, Javascript, SQL and many programming languages that you can use for building your own DIY blockchain or become a developer.

To practice them I think if you don't have a budget you can use the 1 year free of Google Cloud or AWS where you can deploy or test your project for free.
5857  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoCourierMart Legit? on: February 06, 2020, 11:57:56 PM
How can you trust a website which is new?

This website has never been mention here on the forum.

Look at this
Code:
Domain:cryptocouriermart.com
Registrar:NameCheap, Inc.
Registered On:2019-11-01
Expires On:2020-11-01
Updated On:2019-11-01
Status:clientTransferProhibited
Name Servers:dns1.namecheaphosting.com
dns2.namecheaphosting.com

New website with no reviews.

If you are planning to buy miner much better go directly to manufacturers.

Check this list.

So don't trust websites like cryptocouriermart.
5858  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legitimate Darknet Marketplaces which Accept Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2020, 11:18:20 PM
There are lots of Darknet marketplaces that accept bitcoin but most of them are a scam.
If you are looking for a trustworthy marketplace you can not find them on the darknet.

If your concern is privacy why not deal p2p marketplace like OpenBazaar?

The OpenBazaar is safe just make sure that you are dealing with trusted merchant.
5859  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coronavirus affected bitmain ? on: February 06, 2020, 09:15:52 PM
Yes, they should be affected by this coronavirus outbreak since their factory location is located in China Beijing.

And not only Bitmain will stop or will be delay sending miners to customers.
Check these twitter posts below.

- https://twitter.com/realCoinFly/status/1224715831294287877
- https://twitter.com/whenry199882/status/1224222386658013184
- https://twitter.com/search?q=bitmain%20coronavirus&src=typed_query

Someone says that the shipment on the US and Canada will be delay around 8 to 14 days and EU and UK around 7 to 12 days.

And the bad thing is if the machines are infected with coronavirus?
5860  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory db crashes on: February 06, 2020, 06:43:28 PM
Try to export your wallet private keys from your armory wallet.

Try to follow this while armory is running.

- Choose the wallet where you sent the bitcoin
- Click wallet properties
- Look for backup this wallet then click
- Choose the export key list then click the export key lists button.
- Under that screen enable or check these
  • Address String
  • Private Key (Plain Base58)
  • Include Unused (Address Pool)
  • at the bottom "Omit spaces in key data" is checked

Now it should show all of your addresses and private keys that you can import to any wallet like Electrum. Since you already have Electrum you can use the sweep feature you can find this feature by going to  wallet>private keys>sweep and paste your private key of the address where you sent BTC from cex.io

Update here if the exporting keys are a success or not.
