There's no surprise, these people are scared to lose their money in their countries in a lot of ways like inflation, crisis, some random rules of governments etc
So a safe place to put money without anybody know is BTC, and this a good method to use
I hope I never need to use BTC in this way, but if necessary I would do it with BTC

Se deixarem você sacar! Eu acho que os exchanges brasileiros estão vendendo Bitcoin que não existe, todos colocaram limite de saque de bitcoin. Tem um que você simplesmente não pode sacar nada. Uma espécie de esquema de pirâmide.
É a famosa reserva fracionária, mas sem regras de basileia. Na prática a exchange pode estar alavancada em mais de x20. Caras, isso é bem preocupante, se estão trabalhando com alavancagem, nós estamos ferrados, esse é o lado "obscuro" da não regulamentação |

Eu usava bastante a Cryptopia pois lá tinha umas moedas que não tinha em outras exchanges e era relativamente fácil de operar, tinha um volume legal Durante o tempo que estava por lá, presenciei dois grandes problemas que eles congelaram saques e depois fiquei MUITO desconfiado de que poderia acontecer algo pior, então retirei praticamente tudo de lá Olha que eu tinha um valor considerável, tomara que vocês recebam tudo de volta, mesmo que seja 10 dólares, afinal é de vocês O duro é ter que ficar correndo atrás pra reaver algo que é de direito  Acho que tenho 15 dólares lá, pensando se mando meus documentos para receber um valor tão baixo A Grant Thornton é a liquidante da Cryptopia e ainda é confiável. O montante parece ser pouco, mas é maior que o preço unitário da pizzas pagas pelo Laszlo em 2010, de 12,5 USD cada pizza, ou, 5000 BTC por pizza. Vai que daqui muitos anos os seus 15 dólares não se transformam em 1,5k de USD. É o que eu quis dizer no meu post anterior, pensando em reais ou dólares realmente não é muito, mas os satoshis podem valer muito em algum tempo, vale a pena recuperar, na minha opinião, já que é de seu direito mesmo, senão ficará pra eles de qualquer forma e isso não é justo Cada satoshi vale |

Aside from money, I really like the idea of have my way of payment without any person keeping for me or the government know every detail about me

It's interesting but totally impracticable to do nowadays
You can have a big solar system, ok
You can mine BTC or altcoins ok
Buy food, medicine, supplies in general with BTC without converting to fiat or use a system with KYC it's almost impossible, you will have to do a lot to maintain this lifestyle

I don't see we are anywhere near the golden year, everything is not the same anymore, now we got more coins to invest and the investors now are more aware of the market condition and seldom take a big risk anymore that's just the market cycle. people were the same way in late 2015 and early 2016---which is a better parallel for now than 2017. less than a year ago, we were still in the throws of a bear market. people are still licking their wounds. they're skeptical of any rally. it takes time to rebuild hype and momentum. 2020 should be a lot more interesting. We can reach some great levels again, but I'm skeptical about that frenesi we got on 2017 At least in my country, people sold their houses and cars to invest on BTC, these people lost so much money... We can have again but with another people or some great big investors |

I have some doubts if we will have another crazy pump like before, and the reason is simple:
A lot of people sold car, house and move their investments to invest in BTC during 2017, and these people lost a lot of money in 2018, so they will be afraid to put money in BTC again

Analists always trying to predict the new trend, the price etc, but it makes no sense, we can follow some parameters to help us maximize our prediction, but it's only "predictions", and BTC have different pattern, it's not always because some news that BTC changes in price

Essa coisa do Xi è interessante, pois a china ja tem o proprio payment gateway estatal (wechat) centralizato e super performante. Porque de repente eles se tornariam interessados em algo super transparente como a blockchain?
Podem estar pensando em lançar uma criptomoeda, uma versão do wechat, na blockchain com intuito de fazer frente a Libra e ao dólar americano - algo mais abrangente com adesão de diversas localidades e não apenas focado na China. Além disso, a utilização da blockchain com primazia pode reduzir ainda mais os custos operacionais das industrias na China, ensejando em até mais uma vantagem comparativa - daí o interesse do Xi. Cara, se essa China lançar uma moeda e forçar a utilização para sua exportações seria algo MUITO grande que pode impactar demais E se a China perceber que pode ganhar algo contra os EUA, pode ter certeza que irão fazer e muito rapidamente |

Foi ou é, um defensor do BTC e das ideias que em que surgiu e existe o BTC, não faz muito sentido você defender o BTC e julga-lo por defender a mesma ideia da moeda que estão usando

Quem conseguiu retirar a grana a tempo deu sorte e fez grana, mas duvido que praticamente todos que faziam essa arbitragem não acabaram perdendo uma boa grana no final
Eu agradeço a cada dia por ter retirado minha grana a tão pouco tempo de isso tudo estourar
