If you need higher server control and you don't need much resources, VPS does the job.

no way, i don't bother mining bitcoin anymore....  Undecided

just investing.....

This.

Bought 2 BFL jalapenos (total cost $355 including shipping and customs). Preordered Sept2012, received in mid-July2013.  Total mined about $700 worth of BTC, sold them for a total of $1300. Investment: $355. ROI: $2000. Profit: $1645.

Now I'm out of mining, and just speculating/investing and getting more into precious metals (particularly silver).

So, if you have used the money to buy bitcoin in Sep 2012, it was around $20, you would have bought 17.75 BTC, if you sell it around Apr 2013, not at the pick, let's say $200, you would have made $3550, $3195 profit.

BFL really sucks...

yeah, but still better than losing money.  unlike a lot of people i don't count "money i didn't make, but could have made IF..." as a loss.

But it's a lesson learned...

I did prime dice yesterday for hours. Full of great conversation and they let you bet 0.00001 as many times as you want. Prime dice is best from what I have seen so far. Looking for poker room soon. Grin

Isn't that one of Alex Jones's websites?

yes

I've watched a lot of his DVDs he seems schizophrenic, but he makes a good living spreading FUD and misinformation...

Suggestion to labcoin

1) fire your current engineer immediately, hire a one with much higher salary.
2) clear the order book, place a large bid with all the BTC remaining.
3) post a update explaining what's exactly happened and your future plan.
4) reenable the trading, and let investors decide whether get the refund or stay.

This is really really important if you want to minimize your legal risk!

LOL @ "legal risk".

Funny thing; disabling my secondary monitor I can make a screenshot, of anything except the Chrome browser window. Its just not there.
But I managed to grab a screenshot using a chrome plugin. Not sure if it proves anything, but here you go:

Will all respect but why the hell would you sponsor users to maintain their destructive habbit?

Here:

It's all supply and demand. it depends on the events occurring after it is criminalized or decriminalized; the level of enforcement and more.

Yes, and we can look at concrete data, at least when it comes to addiction.

I was involved in the pro cannabis liberalization and drug consumption decriminalization movement 13 years ago in my country. I grew up before decriminalization. I grew up seeing junkies in every corner, I played near used needles and syringes, cases of addiction in family, neighbors... Practically everybody new someone close with heroin addiction.

13 years after decriminalization things are much better, there are syringe exchange programs, rehabilitation programs, everybody caught using something had to have a few meetings with a psychiatrist, several of my friends had to go, fortunately, I was never caught, and it was always my opinion that send 20 year old college guys who smoke joints to psychiatric consultations a waste of resources, many people with serious addiction could use the attention.

On the other hand, we have US War on Drugs, and has far as I know drugs are winning big time.

Europe's Drugs Bazaar - Portugal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEDZXuRcGig

On the video a guy says he prefers to buy a better or bigger dose with the 2 bucks and share a needle or pick one from the floor than spending those 2 bucks in a new needle, he is HIV+.
