I'd definitely be bullish on Peercoin, it's one of my favorite alt coins Cheesy

Why?

EDIT: guess I get it. you're amused by the price expectation behind the refund policy, huh?

warmer Wink

You awake at 7 am?

I'm not.

I find the refund policy ironic, since BFL is the first one which has adopted it. And that they are pretty much a regular traveling agency except they use Bitcoin as a marketing ploy and have to use dirty fiat for everything.

So ? Everybody does that!
I have my doubts those parents payed in bitcoins for the bitcoin child.
Or that university in Utah accepting bitcoins.
Remember the fuzz about Kenya , and that photoshoped taxi?

But . there are some who really accept bitcoins Not many but.. there are.

Chinese salaries tomorrow, this weekend will be nice Smiley

Wha? Do all Chinese people have the same payday?
5864  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I am currently country shopping. What are some good ones? on: December 04, 2013, 06:36:51 PM
go to thailand. if you are a white guy, they love whities there. if you go to bars and clubs, the women there will approach you. the country is fairly modern, so i wouldn't call it a 3rd world country. cost of living is not very high either.

I'd avoid Thai women at bars and clubs; they're not there to find lovers as much as they're looking for sugar daddies.

they are searching for Love.

or you life in russia. Snowden seems to like it too

 Tongue

With the most expensive city in Europe?
Also , why do you think people run from Russia?
5865  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: My buddy is getting a divorce. Can the court seize half of his bitcoins? on: December 04, 2013, 06:35:13 PM
Well , I don't know how that goes but if he denies in court that he has any other bitcoins(valuables) in his possession and after he is released he gets caught using them , well , isn't he going back to court for another round?

Not if he gets asylum in North Korea or Russia (or more realistically in Venezuela or Cuba).

Asylum? Just go to the Philippines and disappear in Manila. Manila is HUGE and packed full of people. I have never been stopped or questioned by a cop in all the years that I have visited. Most people speak some english and their language, tagalog, is easy to learn. Girls are easy to meet, if you are shy, go online and use cherry blossoms or dateinasia.

Again . the original example was DPR. not this ordinary guy.
Secondary , you can walk freely because you don't have 100 millions stashed away.
Wait till your neighborhood finds that out...

O yeah , the best place for an ex drug dealer, and a so called pioneer of "free speech".

I think he means the guy whos ex is screwing the black guy and the daughter.

Yeah , that guy only quoted my response , but my response was to somebody talking about DPR.
5867  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: My buddy is getting a divorce. Can the court seize half of his bitcoins? on: December 04, 2013, 06:32:03 PM
So his wife cheat and now he has to give her half of his net worth. And if he don't he can go to jail, and the court can have scrutiny on all of his fucking like.

That's FUCKING SCARRY. America, what have you become?

Fortunately the op was trolling , so c you can rest calm. Nothing of that shit really happened.
5868  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Block erupters absolutely waste of money now? on: December 04, 2013, 06:27:38 PM
And what will you do with that knc when its profitability drops down due to  difficulty?

Also  it expects you to spend way larger amount - 5-10k usd to get them. Not everyene has that fortune to spend for a miner.

In case of cex - you can just sell the ghs back later and get  the money back - altho perhaps 15-30% less depending of the market fluctuations.

You dont need to pay for maintenance or power nether - which can be quite alot o nsome areas (for example its ~0.14€ /kwh here).

CEX also does  merged mining  - more then just btc.

ne knc thats shipping soon: 12,995 3ths = 4$/ghs. BUT thats the next gen hardware - when they ship out the whole price at cex woudl chaneg aswell. KNC dont have old ones listed so dont recall how much it was  per ghs (10$?).

The cex price onl ywent up in the last few weeks.. it was cheaper before.

cex is affected just the same , income will be lower with difficultry rise
Also what stops me from seeling the machine?

The problems people don't see it with cex is simple.

They are mining  coins and willing to sell you GH that will make you a profit.
Why even bother selling those GH when they could keep the coins for themselves?
Because they sell it at prices that will get higher revenue than just mining. Guess who got the short end of the stick ?

Also , you do pay fees on cex .Wink

I'm curious how drone delivery will work in big cities where people don't got anything resembling a landing pad in their apartments...

In any case, i expect there will be increased demand for window blinds and curtains...

I think the landing pad is the least of the problems for drones flying over our heads. Btw how the drones are going to defend themselves from kids that whould want to take them down for fun?

The same way windows do.... they call the police.

I don't think that breaking windows looks like a challenge or even fun for kids to. Bringing down drones on the other hand. Also good luck having the police protecting drones from kids...

I'm pretty sure they can take care of themselves. Self -defense ?  And remember what those drones are able to do right now Smiley.

Yeah , Bitcoin should get out of the house more often and make some friends Smiley
But Bitcoin is so complicated, others have a trouble understanding him.
He has some family issue , you have to understand.
His father run away , his mother is in bed with the government and he keeps getting brothers and sisters like a wabbit.
5873  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto, person of the year 2013? on: December 04, 2013, 05:10:36 PM
I think Snowden was way more important than Satoshi.

I think Snowden has much higher chance to win beause Bitcoin knows so little people

Yeah , Bitcoin should get out of the house more often and make some friends Smiley

Is there any reputation behind advancedminers? I see their 1.2TH for $6k is scheduled to ship Feb. 3rd to 10th, but haven't seen much verification of that yet.

I stopped at the argument that bitcoins are easily stolen. Only from stupid people, I have posted this so many times in not gonna bother anymore but there is a way to keep your bitcoins 100% completly safe.

I stopped at "A few days ago, the value of all the bitcoins in the world blew past $1 billion for the first time ever" (yes, that is the very first sentence of OP), because it is factually wrong, unless (about) 240 days is accepted as "a few days".

MtGox has USD liquidity problems after US DoJ froze US MtGox Bank accounts...

That's 5 mils.
At current price they have to sell only 5000BTC to cover it.
And they don't have liquidity problems , they have incompetent problems.

They would need 5000 BTC from fees first.
And they have high expenses (custommer support, trade platform software) those things based on how they act are worth 100$

Look at the trade amount the last months , apply the trading fee , and it will go way past 5 millions.
