5863  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ Bettingblocks.com] ✔UNIQUE GAMBLING on block finders | ✔HUGE WINS EVERY WEEK! on: July 31, 2015, 04:39:07 PM
Hi can i know what the difference about this and block777? If i bet on 2 this website, is it the same closing time

Definitely different because the bettingblocks website is to bet for all blocks that ended with "7" so xxxxx7 and that would be 10 blocks interval of roughly 100 minutes. On the other hand the block777 website is to bet for blocks that ended with "777" so xxx777 and that is every 1000 blocks and roughly 10,000 minutes . Apparently the prizepool for the bettingblocks is lower than block777 because of the shorter time so if you are looking for game with higher prizepool than go for block777 instead

sbankerdemon is funny guy, he continously defend Pachinko. he's talking to and fro.

There is no harm on that anyway as people tend to be more defensive towards the site that they love which is normal for him because I saw his post from the early days of this site that clearly indicates that he loves the site but to be biased is pretty different thing  Smiley

seems like he want to be noticed.

He is pretty much noticeable right now

we should make objective assessment, you can't act like that sbankerdemon, it's just make pacchinko reputation hurt.

This kind of things is basically out of control of the site owner. Some may be fanatic enough and that will just ruin the site because of their action however as stated above, the site owner is against cross advertising and such but if someone intended to do it then it is basically not a sole fault of the site

Cool around 540 rolls left Smiley nice now I have to keep a constant lookout

Start pumping the rolls Smiley it might go faster than what you thought
5865  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ Bettingblocks.com] ✔UNIQUE GAMBLING on block finders | ✔HUGE WINS EVERY WEEK! on: July 31, 2015, 11:30:21 AM
also will the jackpot be split between the winners or what?

There isnt any jackpot here and prizepool is definitely different than jackpot. The amount of the prizepool will be share according to the portion of you bet which means that if you own 25 % of the entire wager on XYZ pools and the pools mined the xxx777 block then you will get 25 % of the prizepool minus 1 % of the house fee

for detailed explanations :

logical would be that if a pool has 33% of hashpower, return should be 3x of amount

You got the wrong idea about this game because this game isnt something sort of that kind. Basically this game is about a collective pot that the amount will be divided to all the winners proportionally according to their wager amount

i.e The winning pot has an amount of 1 BTC and Eligius is the pool that mined the xxx777 blocks

There are 3 addresses that bet on eligius to mined the block with the wager amount as the following

Address A : 0.01 BTC  >> 50 %
Address B : 0.005 BTC >> 25 %
Address C : 0.005 BTC >> 25 %

House takes 1% fee so 1 BTC x 1 % = 0.01 BTC and thats leave the pot with 0.99 BTC amount

0.99 BTC will be divided among the 3 addresses proportionally according to their wager so

Address A will receive 50 % x 0.99 BTC = 0.495 BTC
Address B will receive 25 % x 0.99 BTC = 0.2475 BTC
Address C will receive 25 % x 0.99 BTC = 0.2475 BTC

Edit: Stats seem unreliable.
From the current statistics, PD, Bitdice.me is currently under-rated, and Betterbets is overrated, IMO.
Too many votes dependent on speed of bets, which is not that relevant as trust.

And rollin and many other sites are simply missing.

                  Round 1:Bet speed

Votes are supposed to be on speed in this round, did you even read the op?
As for sites missing in the list, they are added once someone votes for them, you're free to mention a site not in the list with positive/negative votes.

Aha I was typing almost the same thing and someone hit post before me o.O

It simply depends on how far you are from the server

Which is true, example if you roll from Frankfurt speed will be 10 bets/second in BetterBets and around 3-4 if you are in USA so the speed indicator is pretty much depends on several factor

and a lot of other issues.

Such as latency issue and connection

Betterbets is overrated, IMO.

Well to be honest this rating is based on user's experiences and will not literally affect the reputation of the site and it is not like there is a trophy for the site if they actually win this speed round . Each user will share a different opinion regarding a site and that isnt an indicator that the site is better than the others

I played once at Pocketdice.io and can say that winning there is easy because the speed of their servers is fine.
PocketDice: +1.

The speed of the roll isnt affecting your winning chance, everything stay the same as you will either bust quicker or get profit quicker and leave

1 positive Vote for BetterBets btw Smiley
5867  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 31, 2015, 12:07:37 AM
The idea of "only investing in Bitcoin what you can afford to lose" is backwards. I'm investing in Bitcoin all the money that I want to SAVE. Unlike my fiat bank accounts, my Bitcoin wallets can not be seized by the state nor frozen by a corporation.

You are using the wrong term for this basically you are not investing but you are saving as because the main point of this would not be to get more but rather to secure your belongings. Saving is about securing your belongings and security .
The words investing is only used if you are looking to get more of what you have invested which means that there is an interest rate that you gain from each of your capital
5868  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pachinko - Highly Addictive Bitcoin Game | 1.05% house edge | New Promo Board| on: July 30, 2015, 10:47:37 PM
BTW I am again suggesting the website owner that like people are posting like LB in this thread you can also do so in their's and I can help. PM me if interested. This was your website will get even more exposure.

Cross advertising isnt healthy. Simply proof what the site worth is the best advertising. The site has been marked to be having a bad marketing because of the 0.0001BTC spam and doing another cross advertising will only hurt the site more

People won't leave the site just because of Pachinko

People can always stay with their favourite site but that doesnt mean they should close their eye to a potential new site.  Smiley

I think this site can get #2 place in Bitcoin on-chain gambling

There isnt much competition on on-chain game anyway

LuckyB.it is doing a lot of promotions and they are nicely operating with their community, I don't see anything like this here :/

Rome wasnt built in one day and either is the LuckyBit community wasnt formed in days. They have been here for almost 2 years and you cant compare their community with this new site as well as the promotions that they have done. Simply because the site is making profit is the reason they are alot of promotions , giveaway and such

Oh and nothing still on the Q&A Sad

There is nothing left to expect here even with the ultimatum from TheMage isnt enough to make him answer the question which has been submitted. This seems to be another indicator that he has no intention to straighten this whole mess up. There is no point for him to keep on stalling with all of this since everyone will either wait for the "magical" hardware or leave it as it is ( it is unlikely that people will pay the fee and even if they did it will be for a small account )
5870  Economy / Gambling / Re: House Edge vs Winnings Tax on: July 30, 2015, 08:49:06 PM
-snip-

In fact this is not a new thing in here. It is known as "fee" here and in poker it is known as "rake" . The percentage of it is different according to the site which mostly takes 1 % from your profit or 1 % from your payout ( 1 % both for each side ).

Here is the few references of some sites that takes on "fee" instead of house edge :

Fairlay ( claimed to be 0% fee but idk details about it ) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=673475.0

Girlbtc ( 1 % fee from payout ) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=673475.0

Tappabit ( not taking any fee for their game but takes 3 % withdrawal fee ) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1098747.0

and few others poker site that you can search at this board

5871  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎈 PlinkoPot.com — Off-chain Plinko — <1% House Edge — Custom Payouts on: July 30, 2015, 07:44:49 PM
I will also be including a "Quick Drop" button.

If this feature would be the feature that get you the result instantly then this will be killing the suspense for the game. Basically plinko is known for the suspense of watching the ball drops and having this feature would make it looks like a dice game ( a single click and get result instantly ).
Pretty much not worth it IMO and if someone actually wants to get an instant result then he could always use the betting history pages in moneypot as the result will shown there instantly

On a side note, is Dan a partner of yours or Do you own this site completely? Just wondering because his name is still listed on the staff page

If you do not satisfy us that
you have taken reasonable steps to prevent such access, we will pursue other avenues to prevent
the unlicensed activities. This may result in the website no longer being accessible.

All it needs is a single threat and all site will comply. This is pretty much happened to the other site as well which is logical because it is better to lose a fraction of customer from UK rather than losing the whole business. As for the bolded part, it seems pretty much indicates that the Gambling commision will write a letter to your hosting company to stop hosting your site or could be just DDOSing the site ( which is highly unlikely but still possible )

We're contemplating adding a custom page for UK users to point them the way of VPNs, I wonder if that would fly.

Pretty much unneeded as because VPN is pretty common nowadays to avoid such IP checks (?)

we've asked him before if we can buy his license and he said no because they don't accept Bitcoin

Kinda confusing but If there is an intention to purchase the license, then you could just cash the BTC into FIAT and buy the license anyway why insist on using BTC?
5873  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CloudThink.IO removed management pictures after being caught with stealing on: July 30, 2015, 12:52:34 PM
Atleast i realised now. Unless someone who already invested in it says its genuine, i am not going to invest

Reading this pretty much made my day better  Smiley . What do you expect from a company that was crowned as a scam site since day 1 when they were caught lying? No genuine company needs to lie and provide nonsense argument. Apart from that, you should notice that all of their review as well as article and so on is paid therefore it is biased which lead you to a food for thoughts

" why would a genuine company paid for such positive review? "  Wink

tl;dr : they are not genuine and never will be
5874  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io Bitcoin Casino ★VIP★15% Affiliate Bonus PLINKO|DICE|HORSE RACING on: July 30, 2015, 11:31:27 AM
It is not an issue for existing moneypot users and existing Betterbets users, but it could make new visitors confused.
When they expect to see a demo, but instead are shown with that error message, many of them will probably just close the tab and will never be back again.

To be honest that is just a matter of preferences. Some user will sign up a new account to access the site (which only take a minute) while some other love to browse through with demo mode instead. However this issue only happen recently as I didnt recall anything like this to happen before. Beside that no matter how small the bug is , BetterBets development team will squeeze the bug out to make a bug-less site so you can be sure this will be taken care of

EDIT : It seems the development team is fixing this right now  Smiley

Yeah, I seem to have broken something during the last update. I'll fix that ASAP.
Thanks for reporting.
5875  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io Bitcoin Casino ★VIP★15% Affiliate Bonus PLINKO|DICE|HORSE RACING on: July 30, 2015, 10:40:01 AM
I dont have any inside information regarding the DDOS attack as I am not part of the team ( merely just helping taking care in answering some slight issue using my player - based experiences whenever the official team isnt around here to answer it ) .
The above explanation is purely speculations of mine however it seems it is highly unlikely because Moneypot was the one that was DDOSed . I have forwarded this to the development team and I will just let them answer this promptly ( should not be long though  Smiley )

-image snip-
I don't think it was a result of the recent DDoS, one because it was there from the beginning, and two because it has nothing to do with moneypot integration (directly).
Had seen it when I visited betterbets.io directly, and clicked Demo, but thought it was the issue on my end, then.

There is certainly no such trouble when you visit through moneypot or login. Not much of an issue to be honest. Smiley

Ahh thanks for clarifying anyway Im a dumb with tech things or so  Cheesy however I based that on mine and several user experiences that during the last DDOS the pop up happenned quite a bit so I thought it could be the same thing however I myself wasnt pretty much confident with that as well ( bolded references )

Certainly not a problem though if you are not on demo page because you will log in automatically through moneypot and of course this issue is kinda "hidden" because most of the regulars account is automatically log in so no one found this small issue before and apart from that no other issue is found though  Wink

thanks arallmuus to let us know about the demo version and that version has the same error as i just checked the demo version and it shows me the same error before this i never used that demo version, is that cause of recent DDOS attack?

When I go on the demo page all I get are JS popups saying "Error processing request".
Can't see any bets while this is happening.
Browser was Chrome.

I see the same error on Firefox, when I click "demo" before logging in my account.
The error doesn't seem to appear after I log in.

Yes Dean and Coef , thanks for reporting and I have forwarded this to the development and they will get back on you for this issue later. This thing is kinda hidden for the regular as the account is kept logged in so no one barely visit it in the demo mode though or it could be caused by the previous DDOS thats taking its toll ( I could be wrong on this since Im no expert on this but I ensure you this will be answered once development team get to my message )

maybe with your connectivity speed.

It could be just connection issue, I experienced the same error when I had a low/unstable connection.

Sometimes it happened because of the connection issue however this doesnt seem to be the case . Apart from the demo mode, everything works perfectly fine and rolls is as fas as usual  Smiley
5878  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: July 29, 2015, 09:09:53 PM
We can't predict when bitcoin die or live, we should do know is to influenced other people like relatives, friends, etc. to use bitcoin, if we do that bitcoin will still alive.

Your post is pretty much uncomprehenable. There isnt anything that will make BTC "dead" , not about how many people use it or if the price is tanking to a dirt cheap price because what matter the most will be the technology of it. Common people cant see this which is why most of them tends to measure wether BTC is dead or not solely from the price alone and let alone the technology of it
5879  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 29, 2015, 09:09:15 PM
I wouldnt recommend savings at all.

Theres better investments that earn way more

This is pretty much wrong. First of all you should note that saving is not to be considered as investment. Saving is much about securing your money and investment is about getting interest from your capital.
Saving could be deemed as a form of investment because you get an interest in return for saving however things are pretty much different because the interest that you got from saving isnt covering the yearly inflation rate therefore you are losing but the main point of saving isnt about "getting more" but for "keeping purposes"
5880  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't we know about the Chinese economy? on: July 29, 2015, 08:41:21 PM
chinese economy is very good and very stable

Good , YES but not stable because it is increasing rapidly. The economics growth is pretty huge and it is deemed that their economics could be the largest by few years later

The greatest companies around the world invest money in China and build their factories there

There are two things that will attract investor to open up a factory in a foreign country which is High number of labor and low wages for the labor and China is the safe haven for that. The country's population has been keep on increasing and poverty is the main reason why there are tons of labor there, simply a low wages will just satisfy them rather than not being able to feed their family ( a harsh truth indeed but still a truth of the current situation )
