5861  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Incentives for Inflating Cryptocurrency on: November 01, 2019, 07:15:15 AM
This would literally turn your coin useless in the future you know that? Inflation isn't really frowned upon since a good inflation could bring out positive benefits to the economy of a country. Too much, and it affects the purchasing power of the currency instead.
This impacts those of the lower working class since a rise in Inflation doesn't mean a rise in Income of workers.
What ever could you mean that you could prevent value loss? Proof? Could you prevent prices from going higher? Could you prevent the value of your coin from decreasing with each increase in supply that you say?
The plan you made up basically just follows what BTC did, hopes that it increases in value, and by the end where BTC would've stopped, you would insteas continue, hoping that it could help the coin grow.
My opinion on it? Nope it wont. Just the fact that the coin would inflate would stop it from being appealing to most investors. They wouldn't even take a second look at it.
5862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs. Luis Ortiz II on: November 01, 2019, 05:26:34 AM
Imma wait and see what Wilder will do to defend his title as a King. He overcame a lot with his first fight with Ortiz and well, I expect a huge fight for this upcoming rematch. The first match was exciting with a back to back advantage between the two, not being clear who was a cut above each other. Wilder won in the end, but I want to see how Ortiz would comeback since he had a chance, he just failed to take it in the first match.
5863  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to avoid amazon price "manipulations" (Black Friday) on: November 01, 2019, 04:15:30 AM
Most of the discounts on various online stores can be seen as manipulated. You just need a little bit of common sense to get that. Heck, even physical stores don't slash the price by around 2-3k (At least, I haven't seen one yet) yet online stores do? I was actually wondering at one point why the hell are online stores selling stuff for so low, much so that the slashed prices are around 2k, 3k, or even more. You can just actually look up the general price of most stuff and you could already see the lies of stores. Sad story.
5864  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: 2ND Anniversary of staying here in forum (MERIT GIVEAWAY) on: November 01, 2019, 03:03:12 AM
Congrats! Nice art. Kudos kabayan!
5865  Economy / Economics / Re: Ushering in a Crypto Golden age for India on: October 31, 2019, 05:42:02 PM
The article talks about facts! Let me summarize it for you all!

India is lossing opportunities big time as a lot of young business owners are still waiting for the regulatory uncertainties to go away! RBI and policy makers have already thrown away few good companies like zebpay, Unocoin from the economy and zebpay moved to Singapore to continue their business! So new entrepreneurs are not willing to take further risks during such uncertain times, rather they are considering foreign land to start their business and foreign exchanges are eating out a big chunk from the pie!

Not sue what is meant by Golden age by the author! It's no golden age, just dark times for crypto communities in India!
Indeed. The government are blind. Foreign exchanges are dominating their market already and yet they don't let the entrepreneurs of their countries do anything, let alone themselves. They failed to see the past failures they've had, and now are almost repeating it for the second time. I don't know how OP described it as Ushering since they are still literally in the decision phase of what to do. The government of India is still deciding whether to stand up, create their own big ass companies that could potentially compete with Binance and other large exchanges after all .
5866  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doing Research on Projects before joining Their Bounty Campaign on: October 31, 2019, 05:05:38 PM
Finding a legit project/bounty is like finding a needle in a haystack. A lot of them bounties today are mostly scams and some may even try hacking your pc through malware. In the end, research PLUS analyzing the content of the project is the key to determining whether one is a scam or not. Information can be faked and may seem legit so simply researching if it is legit or not may be lacking. A lot of people have gotten scammed and had nowhere to report to sadly enough, since its mostly their fault for trusting such a project.
5867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Cryptocurrency TA Indicators on: October 31, 2019, 04:08:44 PM
In the end, each and every one of those whom analyze have different indicators they prefer to use. This makes analysis and predictions broad and a bit hard to compare since their foundation of obtaining the said prediction is different in the first place. It is a nice article though, especially for those beginners. Volume is a basic indicator, and even a beginner should know that. I don't particularly use RSI much since I have difficulties at times but I do use Moving averages pretty often in reading charts.
5868  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina on: October 31, 2019, 02:53:32 PM
Is this even feasible and how many will be taking a trip like these to take advantage of the situation make a few thousand dollars
I think it is? Though there are a lot of possible process involved that are needed to be done beforehand though, so it is kind of a hassle.

Well, I don't blame them with the limiting thingy. It is the job of the government to regulate fiat and at the very least, let fiat be the most used currency for most of the people. This could at the very least let the peso in their country circulate around the market itself, letting the economy grow and repair itself. But with how Argentina people are buying BTC instead, this let's their peso go away in the form of USD which I think restrains the growth of their economy.
5869  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn merit as a Newbie? on: October 31, 2019, 10:48:13 AM
Well, I guess you havent searched enough I guess? A lot of  posts here can be related to earning merit, there are even guides that couls be found. There's something called a search bar at the upper right corner of the site, try entering the keyword "merit" or "how to earn merits" and some threads about it should show up. You could also pretty much look at how others gain merit and understand what made it seem like they did for them to earn that merit. It's rather easy to understand, but pretty difficult to perform.
5870  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4 Key Similarities to Previous Bull Market Corrections on: October 31, 2019, 10:15:51 AM
The really major event for me is the block halving for sure.
Try to compare the chart of Bitcoin for every halving in the previous.
You can see huge movement of the price like for months before of the day of block halving.
This BAKKT event for me is already done in terms of price action on BTC, you think we can see a huge price movement on the day of BAKKT will start their trading?
We all agree that Bakkts influence still continues bit it wouldn't bring any explosive increase in BTC for now. Plus, there could still be a lot of potential candidates that could push BTC ahead depending om how they perform.
I believe im seeing the signs of the same bullish run BTC had in the past halvings and I'm not gonna just sit and let that happen under my nose. I believe it as such and well, hope that it would happen like that after all. Dont we all?
5871  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa - Hidden Treasure for the world and bitcoin on: October 31, 2019, 09:18:38 AM
Africa could actually have a great venture with BTC since they have pretty much the market to accomodate its entrance plus it could greatly help the current economy they have. It is quite pitiful that the government doesn't start helping since the venture of letting africa improve is very difficult. In their eyes that is.
5872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Movies Predicted to Win 2020 Oscar for Best Picture on: October 31, 2019, 08:48:48 AM
Joker bro. In addition to the movie itself, it can be pretty much be called currently in the center of movie news. With a lot of people debating towards the joker of Joaquin Phoenix and the joker of Jared Leto. Plus, the movie was really interesting. Though I haven't watched a few others in the poll, I have watched the Irishman and the Jojo Rabbit and well, I'd say Joker won by quite a bit. Imo that is.
5873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference between Traditional V/S Crypto Banking on: October 31, 2019, 03:36:18 AM
Is there a crypto banking already? Basically, in case if person is using bank, he or she need to accept all conditions set by the bank. In case if you are using crypto currency, you do not need to adjust to someone else.
Thats literally the same lmao. Its still means that you have to adjust to a different condition made by "someone else" in the end. Crypto banking doesn't have a condition that is maintained by someone else but rather is a fixed settings and rules that guarantee the clients anonymity plus an easier mode of transaction. Your literally the bank itself in crypto, so you handle everything and also you secure everything. If anything is lost, it is solely your fault there and then.
5874  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Whales Are Selling BTC Before Market Crash: Peter Schiff on: October 31, 2019, 01:37:35 AM
Yawn. When are people going to stop listening to Schiff?
You'd expect him to be the guy that says "Don't say I told you so" after one corrct predictions from the hunded fails he had. He's famous though, in the opposite way that was supposed to be. Listening to his predictions and doing the opposite of them could net you in some profit.

Gold is likely the best investment option if you want to preserve your wealth (well, maybe at some small expense but still), but when it comes to multiplying it (since this is what most of us are looking for), gold is definitely not an investment of choice
Yep. Even banks would like to fall into gold when a market crashes. Sadly, it's because of this, this attribute of gold which still constantly holds a steady value that makes it a good source to fall back into.
But sadly, its pretty difficult for the old to defeat the new. BTC was pretty fresh in the eyes and a lot accepted it, so naturally, it would exceed the ones before it.
5875  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to get bitcoin? on: October 30, 2019, 02:47:36 PM
how to get bitcoin on bounty and airdrop?
You work for them. Getting bitcoin is just like obtaining any other thing you would want. Work, strive, learn, study for it. I don't get how you still don't understand how to get bitcoin. A lot of others have already posted various threads and links that may help you after all. To get BTC, you need money, fiat, and then you use those to get BTC in exchanges. You need a wallet beforehand though. It's literally just like how usual money is handled! You get a wallet, work for money, the boss pays you, you put your money in your wallet.
If you still have questions though, I'd recommend google.com and youtube.com if you're still having difficulties even with the number of replies that could possibly help you here. Especially vids. A lot more helpful and easier to learn through that if you're having difficulties understanding the things listed here.
5877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Opinions on Upswing Poker tutorials or Lab? on: October 30, 2019, 12:47:46 PM
You gotta review the lab your gonna try for though. Some people may be good at doing something themselves, but actually suck teaching others how they do it. In the case of the IT guy in the past comment, you could see he noted that it was "professional training". You could ensure that at the very least, those training you know how to train you.

In the end it's an endless cycle of trust and lick tbh. It'd be your luck if you improved based on his teachings but if you already know everything he taught, thats just bad luck.
5878  Economy / Economics / Re: US Congressman: Facebook Should Adopt Bitcoin, Drop Libra Project on: October 30, 2019, 11:55:07 AM
How could facebook even adopt it with how its system is made of? They specifically made Libra because of their want to create a new crypto or virthal currency while letting it stay under their management and control.
Plus, BTC wasn't even made by them. This basically seems like their advertising another product, when they had the ability to create one themselves.
Besides, the current state of Libra could be blamed into its infancy stages and it was facebooks first time entering the scene. No matter how big the company may be, it'd still face setbacks every now and then after all.
5879  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I convert my money into? on: October 30, 2019, 09:08:31 AM
I wouldn't really recommend using BTC as a mode of storage for your money right now. BTC is still growing which makes it current phase the best for investors instead.
If your money is currently money you could spend, then feel free to convert to BTC. If you want, you could also look up tethers since its kind of like a fiat but in crypto but its up to you.
Other choice would be to invest in gold, since golds hardly depreciate in price and even banks use them as source of funds when an economic crash happens.
5880  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start: Daytrading? on: October 30, 2019, 07:28:00 AM
Set a time to stop completely. Don't get consumed by greed by looking at how much you made. Be satisfied with what you made for the day instead of extending your trading sessions and suffering losses instead.

Read, analyze and study a lot. Day trading involves a lot of speculation so expect the unexpected. Expect losses and wins. Be ready for them instead of avoiding them

It'll be long and arduous trust me, but it should be quite worthwhile.
