5881  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin whales background on: December 04, 2020, 06:39:37 PM
what was their job or occupation before they become the bitcoin whales?

i guess they had other job before the bitcoin right? or how they made a living?
It depends, some would have job while some would not, also some were once student. Just know that some will have job because it is from the money they get from the job they bought bitcoin, while some might have known the benefit bitcoin will bring and start mining bitcoin. At the time I believe some students that were exposed to what bitcoin was were also able to use their computers to mine bitcoin, bitcoin mining difficulty was not an issue at the time, and they mine thousands of bitcoin in a month. So it depends on life experience of individuals, some may not have job but even mining bitcoin to sell in order to get sell it for fiat and accumulatimg part of it.
5882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is your unforgettable experience in trading? on: December 04, 2020, 06:33:39 PM
I can not forget what happened recently to me, I was able to learn margin trading, I traded litecoin immediately, I sent 125 USD to my margin account, and used it to borrow $1250 worth of litecoin. Litecoin was at $64 at that time, the liquidity price was at $60. Litecoin falled not long after, it decreased to $58 and my fund was liquidated. But after the price fall to $58, the $90 rally of litecoin started, what could have turned into profit for me.
5883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Facebook launches LIBRA then nobody will invest in it on: December 04, 2020, 06:27:28 PM
Stablecoins were not created with the intention of people investing to make a profit, stablecoins were created with the purpose of helping people keep their money safe.
If facebook launches Libra I think it will attract many users, facebook is a big company and they know how to advertise.
Stable coins can be a safe haven during:

1. Price downside of unstable cryptocurrencies
2. Also by a way of keeping money safe. I do not know how Libra will work but as for other stable coins that I know, you can make use of hardware wallet to hold many of them with you privacy not breached to the outside world. I like cryptocurrencies for that.

Libra will truly attract people because it is a stable coin and it will be launched by a famous Facebook owner.
5884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Trailing Stop Orders? on: December 04, 2020, 06:22:26 PM
I like the trailing stop order, but I have not used it before, but with this article, I can be able to understand that if someone trade,m and the market price of the coin is increasing, the trailing stop order will also make the price atwjich the stop lose will be to increase, I think this is just good as I do not have to be watching my trades often daily. But, I am still confused, if to establish the ideal distance can be difficult, which means this can go wrong in a way that if price is not favoring can still lead to losses. I am currently still using limit order which is still useful for beginners like me.
5885  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin retirement account on: December 04, 2020, 06:14:25 PM
Volatility are already been part of this industry, it's tough practically for senior citizen to embrace that possibilities, but for people
who already and willing in taking the risk, most are those believers that the value will rises high once full adoption take place.
In my opinion, I think investment is not much risky as people do comment, there was a time bitcoin was $19600 in 2017 but decrease and increased over time and reach another all time high in 2020. If people can invest in bitcoin, over a long time period, the price will increase which will make their wealth to increase too. I prefer it to having fiats in bank or as a retirement account because of its davaluation. Bitcoin is just limited in supply, the price can increase today and decrease tomorrow but over long time period the price will have a net increase.
5886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any recommendable good strategies for football gamblers on: December 04, 2020, 06:01:30 PM
I usually look here https://www.bettors.club/tipsters/ but there's no guarantee that they are giving good tips also it's much better if you can have the ability to analyze team and games since you won't be needing to rely on some third party tips provider.
That is the main thing, to be a good bettor, analyses is required, especially in sport betting. I will have to consider to analyze better than believing only on betting sites. I have read other peoples comment which really indicate to analyse is the best. No matter how predicting sites are, they can be helpful but ability to analyse can truly go a long way in helping.
5887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Any recommendable good strategies for football gamblers on: December 04, 2020, 11:17:57 AM
I just want you peoples' opinions as it might help before choosing a club to stake good bet. I have tried live games but I have lost money from the online game, you will think the club you chose will win but later the opposite will happen. I later have to leave live matches to only stake on prematches which I believe would be better to earn, but still I am not profiting from gambling. I make use of bet predicting sites but yet they have proven to be not reliable.

What can I do now?

Is there any good bet predicting site you know that can help?
5888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How tricky is this? on: December 04, 2020, 11:03:19 AM
"In an accumulated bet, why is it often the last games that goes rugged and you end up loosing what's supposed to be a best bet and was already preparing for a cash out or the next step"
This has happened to me several countless numbers of times, I still remember like three or four years ago, I staked 7 games, over 0.5 and 1.5, all was a Brazilian league (Seria A), I won 10 matches in the first day and just remaining the last game which was Sao Paulo against one particle club, I was happen because I thought I would win the game and it was over 0.5 goals that I bet. After the whole match, the both clubs played a goaless game and I lost. It was 23 odds. It really pained me, this was the one I remembered but it occurs frequently.
5889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Different opinions about bitcoin on: December 04, 2020, 06:31:48 AM
These are bitcoin bygones, people and many governments now know what bitcoin actually is, that is why many organisations like PayPal and many others want to provide bitcoin services. There was a time some people called bitcoin a ponzi and also were times bitcoin was depicted black. But with all these bitcoin still was able to rise, those that have invested earlier take the lion share of the gain. Some people can still call bitcoin anything they want but bitcoin is just an opportunity many people do not realize in time.
5890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin trading: where to trade? on: December 04, 2020, 06:21:06 AM
Binance is very good for newbie to trade because it expose so many things to investors by helping them to make a reliable income from the exchange market. Many people are still finding it difficult to trade with Binance which is very good in profit making, if you follow the rules and regulations guiding the platform very easy to make a good profit. If you trade with Binance, it will hard for you to lose unless you fail to obey the market structure which will make you not to achieve anything from your trade.
Saying binance is good in profit making us not accurate because binance deals with trading, if you can trade on Binance and make profit, then you can trade on all other exchanges and make profits. People can learn about trading and know the strategies they will use to gain irrespective of the exchange the person is using. But I have also used binance to trade before, specifically both spot and future, it is a good exchange site for trading, but not to depict it like trading itself is not risky.
5891  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking Bitcoin profit in the bull run | Please Share your strategy on: December 03, 2020, 07:59:55 PM
The price of bitcoin is difficult to predict for now, bitcoin price is resisting $20000, but also having good support at $19000. For now, the holding strategy seem not easy for me because I can not hold for now. I think it will be good to just still have your profit in stable coin like USDt or in fiat like you commented because it is possible that bitcoin will break $20000 and the remaining bitcoin you are having will continue to rise while you gain more while if falling, you will have the USDt or fiat as the safe haven.
5892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to attribute different receiving addresses to a single wallet? on: December 02, 2020, 11:14:33 AM
It is not possible to link two addresses to a single wallet not to talk of multiple addresses, but this also depends on the owner of the addresses. There are times someone needs to make use of coinjoin or mixer in order to have privacy, but sending and receiving coins carelessly can lead to your addresses to be linked to a single wallet.

Someone needs to be careful of his utxo, scammers can make use of dust attack to link many of your addresses together. To fully have true privacy, you need to make use of mixer or coinjoin sometimes.
5893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A New Visa Credit Card Offers Bitcoin Rewards Instead of Miles or Cash on: December 01, 2020, 07:28:30 PM
It is not only about if this card is expensive or not, I can not use crypto credit or debit card for privacy reasons. I prefer to just have privacy while dealing with bitcoin rather than all these custodial services. And that aside, the card at annual expense of $200 is too much but if truly 1.5% of the card owner purchase will be returned in bitcoin, it is still good. But I can not lose my privacy because of any credit or debit card.
5894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlockFi Will Launch Bitcoin Rewards Credit Card! on: December 01, 2020, 07:23:02 PM
I have also just read it on the news that it cost $200 per year, I can never use this card in my opinion, I am not ready to receive any 1.5% of my purchases back in bitcoin which is said according to the news for the card holders as I read it. I will still prefer to just have my noncustodial ways of doing this or better resort to their fiat. Any lack single breaches in privacy makes my bitcoin not private for me again, I believe we all know that.

We can just join the topic here

5895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Lived In London While Working On Bitcoin on: December 01, 2020, 10:04:57 AM
A person that do not want anyone to know him, why are people just bothered on what will not happen. Maybe Satoshi Nakamoto are just the first bitcoin developers that look for names that will suit the bitcoin creator. If Satoshi want to disclose his identity, he will. People should not just bother about him because he wants everything about bitcoin to be open source and decentralized unlike other cryptocurrencies.
5896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help my by answering 4 question! Thanks alot! on: December 01, 2020, 10:01:32 AM
- What do you know about bitcoin (3 sentences)
- Is bitcoin or are shares more popular and why?
- Is there still enough enthusiasm for bitcoin and why?
- What would you recommend each bitcoin starter to do?
Bitcoin is a money and an asset, only a total of 21 million will be in circulation which makes it limited, anything limited will have value. Bitcoin is in high demand and has value because of that, this has resulted to its price that begin with $0.03 in 2009 to be $19000 now.

Bitcoin has no shares, bitcoin is open source and completely decentralized, anyone telling you bitcoin has shares only want to scam you.

Yes, there is enough ethusiasm for bitcoin, that is why institutions have now joined the race to provide bitcoin services.

I will recommend you to know the basic knowledge about the technical analysis of bitcoin price, you can use coinmarketcap for this to know the price history of bitcoin before you will be able to decide what next.
5897  Other / Off-topic / Re: Income from Bitcoin investment on: November 30, 2020, 02:16:10 PM
I will say you can make use of bitcoin to earn passive income by holding but that does not mean holding do not have risk. Assuming the price of bitcoin fall during the time you are holding bitcoin, that means you are losing, but if the price increase, that means you gain. You can use bitcoin to earn passive income. Before you can do this, I will advice you to learn little about trading and also know how to analyse the crypto market. Also make use of hardware wallet like ledger nano or trezor while holding and be careful of attackers.
5898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Crypto users use VPN's ? You decide..... on: November 30, 2020, 02:05:34 PM
VPN can only help to some extent, but we need not to believe on VPN that are not decentralized, so far we make logging into the VPN services, that means they are able to keep users logs, and very possible governments can ask for their help to reveal hackers but not everyone and if they are not secure enough, hackers can hack the logs. If we think they are not keeping logs, that is just a wrong thinking. The best is to just go for decentralized VPN if existing, that one will have ways you do not have to provide anything about you. Or better still to just make use of Tor browser if someone wants to have privacy.
5899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is your unforgettable experience in trading? on: November 28, 2020, 07:21:00 PM
What I have noticed about trading is that beginners do lose, they can never forget the loss they had during when they first started trading, if they gain, they would  never forget that too, which means the first trading experiences matters. After subsiquent trades, there are many things that will happen but be forgotten. But what I know traders may also never forget is when they lose high amount of bitcoin or altcoin while trading. Like me I hardly find it difficult to forget the day I lost coins to trading when I first started and of the days I lost much than I can imagine.
5900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 28, 2020, 07:15:17 PM
Today I am quite surprised at the Liverpool match they have not given goals and this is sad. The uncounted goals seem to have affected the team's morale. If we look at the Brighton side, although they had a few clear positions, they could not achieve the absolute win. I think they left with the result they wanted. Draw is good for Brighton side but sad for Liverpool side.
I  was quite surprised too as I believed Liverpool would have won the game, this kind of thing do happen in football matches. Liverpool being away gave Brighton home advantage and the game ended draw. But, this is not the end of all, Liverpool is still trying his best and playing good, I am seeing them being at the top of the table later on. Let us just be patient as I still see good teams of the club.
