5881  Economy / Speculation / Re: how much gonna be 1 BTC in a year? on: April 26, 2016, 05:01:45 AM
it is hard to predict an exact price you can check out the speculations section for many topics about your question and see what others are thinking.

my prediction is somewhere above the last highest price which makes it more than $1100
5882  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: April 26, 2016, 04:59:14 AM
i usually try to use bitcoin for payments so i can say i actively spend my bitcoins, but it has always been online payment, i hope i can someday use bitcoin offline like purchasing stuff in a supermarket.

also these days i am trying to not spend bitcoin so much because of the price rise but i will if i need to though.
5883  Economy / Speculation / Re: The top boys, what is. on: April 26, 2016, 04:52:44 AM
if we are only looking at this year and the halving rally of the summer time i would predict a price between $1000 and $2000 but i think it is going to stop there and will still continue to go up but i still can't think of price to settle in.
5884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price falling?? on: April 26, 2016, 04:43:24 AM
465 is the new 435. We are going sideways, in the range of 445-465 until halving.

you wish!
this price is not going to stay either, it has been just one day since $450 was broken, and now we are at $462. let it reach this and then call sideways, it has been only rising and i don't see any indication to prove otherwise is happening.
5885  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: April 26, 2016, 04:39:49 AM
we are getting closer to the big rises but i am still not convinced that you can become a millionaire only with 10BTC. cause that would require a huge rise
It's assuming Bitcoin will hit $100,000 per Bitcoin, and I highly doubt that we'll see that point within our life spans.

I can maybe see it hitting $100,000 towards the mid 2100s, but definitely not before then.

it seems like yesterday when the bitcoin price was low and you could easily buy 10 bitcoin with $2000 now look where we are it is nearly 2.5 times more.
price will rise in no time and maybe in about 5 more years we can see the real high value of bitcoin and maybe with 50BTC we could become millionaires.
5886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins in Steam coming soon... on: April 26, 2016, 04:35:27 AM
I hope lord Gaben will make it true cause i am using steam often and it will be so good for me if i can pay with bitcoins. I am playing dota 2 and cs:go so mirco payments with bitcoin will be so good.

well, i don't think "micro-transaction" comes in play in this case. things you want to buy are not cheap and i find that it is so much easier to fill the steam wallet with money and spend that. so you can place $10-$80 in your steam wallet and then spend on buying things that way.
5887  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2016, 04:31:32 AM
What about selling stuff for btc what they can/want to use for something in real life? Then you don't have to explain bitcoin with "simple words and sentences" to woman as they will find it out themselves.

You are right about this but what kind of stuff we should sell, I think clothes is one of the best things you can sell for woman in the overall.
Clothes are one of the most important things for woman's.

it is not just clothes it can be all kinds of product. for example it can be beauty products like cosmetics, cream, and all that other stuff they are using an i don't know names of half of them!
also it is not just gender specific stuff that they buy, it can be all kinds of things like mobile charge topoff, food, home appliance,... and all kinds of things one might need for living.
5888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: April 26, 2016, 04:27:49 AM
in begining when i'm first time know about bitcoin, blockchain still have good reputation, and i'm use it,reliable, fast, secure and mostly i'm can manage my transaction fee,its good feature.

From the days into the bitcoin I too prefer and continue using Blockchain.info, I felt this to be the best among most other wallet in terms of using, interface, features and updated status.

the good thing about blockchain.info is the feature for the SMS, where they send you a message when you receive/send a transaction it is so good for monitoring bitcoin addresses by just adding it as a watch only wallet to your main wallet and also it is good to be used as a hot wallet.
5889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Services that are missing from the market? on: April 26, 2016, 04:24:03 AM
Easy buy of bitcoins via credit cards without verification. That's what's the best to do I think. A lot of people from the EU are complaining about that.

Terrible idea. Why would you let people buy non-reversible bitcoins with a credit card which they can dispute the charge with to essentially get free bitcoins?

Go on ebay and try to sell amazon gift cards. You'll probably get a buyer pretty quick, but if you actually send the card...they will use it and then file a "never received item" dispute with ebay and you'll lose your money, because the system favors the buyer not the merchant. This is no different than what would happen if it were possible to buy bitcoins with credit cards.

that is only one of the problems associated with this method. the other biggest problem would be trouble with fraud and stolen credit cards. that is why all these services have a window of time where it takes to verify you and make sure it is real.
5890  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: April 25, 2016, 02:04:43 PM
Invest in both if you can afford to, as investing in both is the smart thing to do as you can expect higher returns from either of two.
I thought divides the capital into two certainly profit to be you can also be divided.
I prefer to use a single investment only its bitcoin

Never invest in single product as if it fails in future then you need to go through huge loss so its always better to invest in multiple products to reduce the risk.

i agree, but this year holding only bitcoin as the biggest and only investment will pay off more than anything else. it has been proven recently that the potential of big rise is there and it will take time to give the big profit. but after things settle i would suggest investing in multiple things.

We all want to earn profits in short term, so investing in bitcoin at a moment is the best thing to do, as it will take care of your profits in the best possible way.

no argument there, but i think bitcoin is turning more into a long term investment rather than short term investment because of the slow rise and the long history of stable price (maybe this changes in the following days but who knows) the sure part is that it is going to continue to rise.
5891  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: April 25, 2016, 02:00:22 PM
Try to use cloudmining site but its risky Smiley

It's not so risky as gambling or other stuff and also now people trying to work with trusted sites. Maybe cloudmining is the best way for newbies i think.
I think not only for newbie but cloud mining is very safe for everyone. you can make cloudmining as passive income and extra income
it's better than you use gambling

I don't trust cloud mining as I don't think it can be profitable in long run, and its difficult to judge their genuineness, may be it will disappear in future, better option would be trading.

you are right to not trust cloudmining services most of them are not legit, they are just taking money from new investors to give to the old ones. but there are a handful that are legit but they also have bad ROI.

the only thing that was good once, was cex.io that i have tried and i wonder if they will resume their operation when the price rises because they have paused it because of low price.
5892  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - Time to buy? Time to sell? on: April 25, 2016, 01:55:55 PM
it is time to buy as long as you can get your hands on cheap coins we are still in cheap coin territory ($459 at the moment of typing this) soon the price will be $10 more and $10 more the next day until it is going to start flying up and that is when it is going to be too late and buying then meas the smallest profit.
5893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be stable in 2020 on: April 25, 2016, 01:52:06 PM
i hope in 4 years (year 2020) bitcoin has reached a state that it is being used by a lot more people and services start adding bitcoin instead of paypal and ... and i would expect by then the price will be more stable like other currency pairs with small changes only.
5894  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: April 25, 2016, 01:35:03 PM
In my opinion it is almost impossible to foresee with accuracy the future of bitcoin in the medium and long term, because we should not forget that this currency is a very recent phenomenon in the history of economy, and there are not sufficient backgrounds to predict its future behavior. Everything is really possible: bitcoin may be worth millions, or it may even disappear in next years.

i agree that it is hard to predict the future especially when it comes to bitcoin, but it is not as hard as you might think.
bitcoin is a good technology and it has a lot of good and useful features, and it has already been proven that it is secure. also people and big companies and services are showing a lot of interest in bitcoin. these things make it easier to predict the future.
5895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: April 25, 2016, 01:27:52 PM
Gambling mean high risk to lost money there so that i would like to say this it only wreck our life, there is no chance to fix our life with gambling.
of course there is little chance of you getting rich from gambling. there are some people who I look to benefit more than 50 BTC of gambling. but you should have more luck dude

that is just luck, and so that is what's wrong with gambling. people always have all these dreams of getting rich by making a bet to win 50 bitcoin more or less and so they try to pursue that dream by keep gambling but in fact they are just pursuing their loss after loss.
5896  Economy / Speculation / Re: Unable to break $400 on: April 25, 2016, 01:14:21 PM
haha, i was about to miss kwukduck and his posts, thanks for bumping this topic. it looks like he has crawled up somewhere under a rock now, i used to see a lot of topics being started each week by him when the price was stable each time claiming price is going to crash!!!
5897  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 at the beginning of May ? on: April 25, 2016, 01:09:13 PM
the price has been going up so good that i think it is possible to get there, since it is not that far anyways at this point, so since now there is only 6 days ti the end of April i would expect $500 in the first week of May.
5898  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: April 25, 2016, 01:05:28 PM
I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum

that is an interesting question. and i think the answer depends on how much money this "we" owns. bitcoin market is not longer a small market like 3-4 years ago it has grown so big that in order to manipulate it you would need a huge capital.
but don't underestimate the power of FUD and hype, it is sometimes so powerful that can change the price easily.
5899  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: April 25, 2016, 01:01:40 PM
I think this is the start of the rise until the halving when it will collapse slightly and then start again on an upward trend
we can predict sudden crash just after halving because price is growing like pure pumping with over speculation for umcoming halving. But i don't think price will be again on level of 400 after halving in this whole year.

True. Bottom must be at least $500 minimum.

It really sucks if we will back again at $400 bottom after the expected hype during and after halving.

i doubt if we can go back again at $400 it is rising very strongly and each day there is a slow and steady rise which has been happening for the past few days.

also after the extended stable accumulation phase, i don't see any reason why we should go back down there.
5900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Value of bitcoins in your place! on: April 25, 2016, 12:59:46 PM
i don't understand what you mean about "bitcoin price in my country", bitcoin price is determined globally. everywhere in the world it is the same. if it is being traded with your local currency then it has a price equivalent of $458 in your currency and if it is not then it is worth 458 * dollarValueInLocalCurrency

and for usage, it is not being used as much as i hope but i can see more people are getting interested in it recently.
