5881  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Anyone Earned Bitcoin On Moon Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2019, 05:59:04 AM
Ahhh a nostalgic site. I used to play back then a few yeas ago and it was quite worthwhile back then when I was just starting out with bitcoin. As for me earning, well, yes I did. I dont know about now though since I've stopped using it these days. It was a very nice faucet though, one of the best if not the best. It was a faucet that lasted me for quite a while since it was a very legit one to use.
5882  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you guys think about the death cross ? on: October 22, 2019, 05:05:09 AM
Unlike early 2018, everyone seems to be watching for this death cross and expecting the worst. Sentiment is getting miserable. Most analysts I know are very bearish with the exception of those who have been through multiple bubble cycles.

To me, this kind of sentiment is indicative of bottom. I expect another attempt down below $7,700 but my gut tells me bulls will reject it hard and that any death cross will be a false signal. That happened once before in 2015.

Either way, let's at least let the death cross occur before expecting the worst.
False signals of death cross are abound right now imo. BTC currently at 8k and constantly showing a bullish rise steadily.
And even if Death cross would occur, I doubt it could make a huge effect on the market. Besides, only those day traders would be hugely affected. I'm doubtful that long term investors would let themselves be affected by it since most of them would have depended on the horizontal line instead of the death cross since it is quite inefficiently to base off of it.
Indeed. Hackers sila kasi kaya nila maging resourceful using the little things na akala natin wala lang. A simple 5kb file could be a potential hack sa entire system na ng pc mo and it was easily seny using email lang diba? Free of charge naman mag send and gumawa ng file. Most ng time ng hackers ay spent sa pag bbreach ng mga security fire walls and protocols para di sila madetect after all.

Plus matatalino talaga ang mga hacker. They know the psychological thinking of most people. Through that, kaya na gumawa ng events na maeentice ung mga users na iopen and gamit yun, ihahack na nila yung accounts mo. Utak lang talaga puhunan nila.
5884  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another newb post, if you don't ask you don't get, HI! on: October 21, 2019, 05:01:42 PM
Yes, you are right too. But in my opinion if he has sufficient funds and can survive until prices really go back up, mining now is not a bad choice as long as he doesn't sell his coins right now. The coins must be collected and hodl until we enter the bullish season again. In this way, the loss he receives in paying for electricity will be replaced at the right time and will get a big profit if he can mine the right coins with a level of difficulty that is still easy.
Mining still aint that recommended. It has a lot of managing costs and isn't that much profitable when your fighting with big companies like the mining companies in China. Besides, holding bitcoin is a lot easier since you already said it. Hodl until we enter the bullish. Its a lot easier to spend the money you would invest on mining to buying bitcoin and hodling. Its a more advantageous when cosidering the cost - to - profit imo.
5885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin start to rebound? Next Target $8.6K? on: October 21, 2019, 04:11:17 PM
I suppose we can assume a floor has been hit. Its the Q4 and bitcoin is nearing its halving so I'd expect a rebound sooner or later. Price shouldn't drop from 7500$ or lower by my estimates (imo). Although I don't expect it to go past 8500$ for the rest of the week at the very least. I'd expect a sideways movement slowly going upwards, and by the end of the year, reach its highest and slowly bound down until the halving in May.
5886  Economy / Economics / Re: Fear of Facebook spurs Federal Reserve to build its own digital currency on: October 21, 2019, 02:58:40 PM
Learning about the country means learning about the law and also the complexity of the interests of its citizens, in addition to requiring speed and savings, citizens also need security guarantees for transactions using digital currency & cryptocurrency. In contrast to banks that provide guarantees of money security by providing a 100% return if losses are caused by bank mechanisms and SOP errors. There is no guarantee in blockchain technology or financial institutions involved in it. For example, some exchangers who experience digital hacking so that their assets are lost.

And this is why bitcoin is both good and bad in the eyes of others. Decentralization of the financial system is great in the eyes of most people since this removes the manipulation possibly made by the government themselves who hold our fiats. On the other hand, Hackers and Scammers filled the crypto world because of the fact that it IS decentralized. This makes the current system of crypto seem like alien to most of the masses since they would have to handle their funds themselves, storing it themselves in their own digital storage or something of the sort.

I'd bet that the Federal Reserve is trying to find a loophole or a way at the very least to stop the people from adopting bitcoin or at least those that haven't and would push them to instead adopt their coins.
5887  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Airdrop or Bounty on: October 21, 2019, 02:09:14 PM
Study and invest instead. Stop wasting time in Airdrops/Bounties. It ain't the past anymore where you could earn a 100$ for sharing a tweet or something. You gotta invest time and actually think about what you want to do and progress there slowly. Plus, if you're talking about the art contest theymos has on going, It doesn't really need you to know much. Just make something using the theme of the forum itself or bitcoin itself and your fine to go. But after that, I'd advise to buckle up and start studying.
5888  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: October 21, 2019, 01:12:44 PM
Sino sa tingin nyu ang mananalo between the Lakers and the Clippers? (both LA teams yan).
Lakers bro. Mas mukhang pulido team nila ngayon kesa sa Clippers and biased talaga ako sa Lakers. Old time fan ako eh hahahaha. Leonard may be the MVP, but we have LBJ as a duo with Anthony para sa face off nila hahah.
5889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 21, 2019, 11:40:05 AM
.
What are common things you're superstitious about when gambling?

Superstitions are fun to mess around when gambling since it brings a kind of hppe to you. I often bet twice on dice whenever I win and then half when I lose continously. After around 10 times, I stop and leave and wait till tomorrow comes to try again.
There's also the place where I play at times like I play in my bed whenever the sun is down and play at the living room whenever the sun is up. No particular reason for it, It just makes me feel more sure that I could win
5890  Economy / Economics / Re: Limited Supplies Lead To Death (SIMULATION) Satoshi Help. on: October 21, 2019, 08:32:24 AM
Sorry I been up for 24hours and my thoughts are just off the top of my head. The stuff I am talking about is in the middle of the video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=494ki3Dz9pM
I haven't watched the video so Im just gonna touch what I understood from the topic title. I doubt limited supplies lead to death but rather loss of importance is the one that leads to death. Look at the countless altcoins that are released. Not all of them are being used even though they have a lot of supply available, most of them are still dying off. Importance is the one that leads to a coin being circulated in the market, and I doubt bitcoin would die cause of limited supply.
5891  Other / Meta / Re: Why don't you stop SPAMMERS yourself, admins? #RaiseYourVoice on: October 21, 2019, 05:26:51 AM
"Report to moderator" function is already there for such type of users. If you see a shit posts in gambling section, press that button.

This is already the answer the forum best can give. Managing spam on the entire forum with only a small list of mods is very difficult and I doubt they would even search for such spam willingly. Just the amount of replies a thread can be astounding already, what more the countless parts of the forums here.
Besides, most spammers are just newbies accounts and wouldn't even think twice of creating another if they get banned. This just makes it an endless process and seems useless to do so they might as well just let users report spams they see and mods would then take action then and there.
5892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will this fluctuation end ? on: October 21, 2019, 04:43:19 AM

Yes, that's the current situation of market as people are ready to demonstrate prediction but deep down they themselves knows that i will not go as per prediction. There are users who are making profits out of this volatility by doing a daily trade but with my experience a good amount of profit can be made during huge fluctuation but not the fluctuation of few hundred Dollars.
Naturally, those that trade in expectations of profiting with these small fluctuations would expect a profit of small amounts if not none. Bitcoin investment is a long term investment, not a short one. Plus, predictions made on a short term of a month isn't even worth calling a prediction. Not many factors could be made with that short month and most holders and trade analysts are actually analyzing and prediciting the price once the halving occurs or by the end of the year at the least.
5893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who do you think will win the fight? on: October 21, 2019, 03:14:05 AM
Doesn't care on whose gonna win on the fight. The only thing I do hardly believe is that these Wrestling/RAW fights are totally fake.  Grin

When you're hopes and dreams were hyped and you watched them in the past with thrill and excitement. Then you discover that they were all acts and were just tricks to make the fight look more exciting. It gets boring when you see two fighters battling it out then one side suddenly loses its will to fight cause it is a staged fight. Sad life for people who enjoy watching them and actuslly care for the result.
5894  Economy / Economics / Re: Fear of Facebook spurs Federal Reserve to build its own digital currency on: October 20, 2019, 12:11:39 PM
Aren't they a bit too late on the party now? With how much resistance they put up against the development of bitcoin, and now that facebook is trying to make their own digital currency, they also want to build one now? Sadly for them, Facebook isn't the one they are supposed to fear, it should be bitcoin. And here they are, the government trying to make their own digital currency as to not let their influence in the financial market dwindle. As all of us should expect, such currencies would be totally controlled or at least tracked by the government themselves, which defeats the purpose of what the current trend of decentralization is. Well at least, the world is starting to see that fiat is dying and the time for digital currency is right here right now.
5895  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening with Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2019, 11:22:04 AM
Professional? I don't think so. You just need to have the basic qualities of someone who is a trader. You don't need to be a professional about it. You can be a professional artist and be a part-time trader at times and you can still trade as well as professionals without being one of them. Research and predictions are all that is needed when trading and well pretty much luck as well. No matter how extensive research is, sometimes it just doesn't go that way. Luck can be a huge factor to trading after all.

you need to have experience in this market to be able to successfully make profit. whether you do it as a job (a professional) or as a part time thing (as an amateur) doesn't make a difference. both of them require equal amount of experience.
"research" that you mentioned helps but only a very small amount. traders must actually trade and analyze the market themselves to gain experience. otherwise you'll end up filling your head with a lot of abstract theories that you don't know how to put to use.
I might not have clarified myself that well with what I meant as "research". What I meant was the same as you mentioned, Analyzing and studying the market themselves. I wasn't pertaining it to simply searching the web or looking up charts and reading them like that. Simply googling about is like asking a student to study when in a sense, all he/she is doing is memorizing it and after that year, it would be forgotten. What I wanted to point out was studying in a sense where you experience it, analyze it, define it in your own world. Forget about your predecessor's analysis since you yourself have your own analysis.
5896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of ponzi schemes bearing names relating to bitcoin on social media on: October 20, 2019, 10:50:56 AM
Easy ways to know ponzi scheme is look their interest rates. If any financial investment offer 100%, 200% or higher ROI within a month, it's just a ponzi investment. So, stay away to invest from this kind investment service.
The higher the profit, the more likely it is to be a scam. Earning money was never easy so I doubt people don't understand that. Even the 100% ROI could make some people think twice before investing already, let alone the higher ones.

Ponzi schemes are easy to spot nowadays due to the sheer amount of related projects before that have gone down the hill and the never-ending low stakes, high reward business model which they use to lure in people, especially the newbies. Even though they are easy to spot, they still pop out every now and then around this forum and the newbs keep on investing due to the offers. In order to avoid such, my advice is to ask how would they make money and pay their investors, and if they answered the generic “we will invest this on X to gain Y amount” then you know they are not someone to be trusted with.
Well, newbies are the easiest people to scam after all. Not only newbies but rather ignorant ones that don't understand how legit projects actually work and progress from the start-up to them starting to profit. Rather than letting themselves succumb because of their lack of knowledge, I'd rather advise them to buckle up and study a lot, learn how to differentiate a scam from a legit one.
5897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex International shutting down services from 31 countries. on: October 20, 2019, 07:46:44 AM
Sad to see this. Having to shutdown due to uncertainty must be quite unacceptable to most people or even to the company themselves but I guess they have their reasons. I've spread it to my social media accounts and hopefully, other users are able to see the announcement before the shutdown happens. I just hope majority are able to withdraw their funds and hope that Bittrex is able to comeback after sorting their problems out.
5898  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening with Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2019, 06:28:04 AM
One must be a professional trader for you to be able to identify the bottom so that they can buy at the cheaper price and wait until its value reaches the height of the upword trend before placing a sell order.
Professional? I don't think so. You just need to have the basic qualities of someone who is a trader. You don't need to be a professional about it. You can be a professional artist and be a part-time trader at times and you can still trade as well as professionals without being one of them. Luck can be a huge factor to trading after all.
5899  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How could we help improve & build a decent forum. Keep your role and help forum. on: October 20, 2019, 05:34:23 AM
Introduce the forum to those who are willing to contribute or who are willing to learn so that they could contribute. Joining bounties is fine and all but learning should still be the priority most of the users should strive for. That or just blending in and not spamming. Like join gamblers in gambling discussions, talk about debates in off-topic and the like. Mods should also probably add the opinions of the other comments? the one where the OP would close the thread once he/she has received a satisfactory answer? This could also stop some threads from being necrobumped which were already answered.
5900  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Qualities worth developing as a crypto enthusiast (Investor). on: October 20, 2019, 04:35:11 AM
You should probably change security cautiousness to being cautious instead. There are a lot of things to be cautious about and security is just one of them. Being cautious with your website entries, with your wallet address placements and the like. It's pretty much how we should be careful of anything we do that is related to us investing in crypto. Also, having the capability to capitalize from your mistakes should be adopted as well. Simply learning from mistakes is not enough, you should have the ability to adopt and somehow be able to turn that mistake into a move that could potentially lead you to either a win or at the very least zero loss. Of course, at times, you wouldn't be able to do anything about the result and that is where Learning comes from, but if you can do something about it, you should.
