From an investors point of view, dmd market graph was interesting to me and seemed maybe volume was rising. Looked good till this reactor bs. Ill wait 6 more months before I look at this again, but maybe never. The bs about owning this coin should stop or there will be little investment in it. It also shouldnt be so hard to find out who behind this coin. Your bitcointalk profile doesnt even have email addresses.
How can you not know or find it. Helmut has a full linkedin profile. look again, i said i found one and he was the one...linkedin profiles doesnt mean much to me, I dont see any email addresses. Whos popshot? Damn dude, how can you be a hero member and still write this kind of junk. E-mail address? How th fck is that going to help you or anyone else in the case of any problems. Helmut and the rest of DMD devs are the most transparent coin dev team I have seen so far and I ve been into crypto for a long, long time. He s just posted you can meet him in Graz on one of Austrian crypto events. You can see his linkedin profile, lots of friends, real people. He has posted some personal photos in this thread, including photos of him and his children. WHAT else do you need? I was surprised when I first purchased DMD cloud mining that I received a contract stating my rights and responsibilites from Helmut. I know this is not UN law strong but it still shows the direction these people go. In other words, if you have some actual comment, pls do share it, I will read it with respect. Just writing trash and FUD brings no good to anyone and it certainly does not support your "hero" member reputation.

Whats s GM fee per GH compared to Spondoolies?

Oh yes - now you bring in the online article. I mean - we've never ever seen any mining equipment companies go rogue? And every article Coindesk writes is always fact checked - right?
Did they conduct the interview at their green energy facilities? That would make an excellent photo shoot in Iceland (where they house the supposed equipment).
My thing is to show me proof that they are actually mining for you… Why can't you choose your own pool? Or do they at least show you what block you are mining? There has to be some technical data.
If they are mining -- then they are doing it for themselves -- then taking their cut -- and finally distributing what is left to the lifetime subscribers. I would think. The variable is the "maintenance fees" -- which you do not have control over. Shouldn't this price remain constant?
I do want to believe -- really I do. When I see "lifetime" purchases of hashes I get alarmed - why not purchase hashes for a month at a time?
Here s more info for you from Spondoolies side: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/pages/cloud-miningDo you really think one of the largest and most respectable mining gear producers would lie about something about this??? I understand you are suspicious but you ve got to draw a line somewhere. I m sure they draw their profit from this maintenance fee users pay plus initial markup for the mining hardware price. This is not some strange business model, companies do it in other fields all the time.

With all these cloud mining companies going down, Genesis Mining seems to be one of the few legit ones. They ve been paying me since day one.
Are you serious -- please stop it! Go promote your ponzi-mining else where! Ponzi? Tell me how the fck are they ponzi. Spondoolies-Tech confirms on their webpages they deliver miners to Genesis Mining. The problem with you guys is that if something does not produce ROI in 3 weeks, it s intermediately bad. Well I got news for you, you re in the WRONG industry. There s no more easy money in Bitcoin, you need to accepted the fact that 1 year ROI is very, very,VERY good. You, hdmediaservices, take your pills please. Your start spreading unsupported BS when you do not take them. Oh ok - so you've been using their "cloud" mining service for a year and you got your ROI? I mean they need a couple of people with great success to share the news with others. I love these cloud mining websites -- buy xxx hash for $xxxx for a lifetime! (As long as it remains profitable) And choose your coins to mine -- but you can't choose your pools. LOL And we won't tell you what pools we use. LOL And where is your mining facility? WE CAN'T TELL YOU! LOL And you can pay by credit card (meaning, we'll make sure that you are showing some profit for at least 60 days and then past that watch it drop drop drop - because you can't file a chargeback). Oh -- the best one of all -- we're located in BERMUDA! Probably a virtual office, but funny still. Regarding ROI -- I've bought quite a few Scrypt A2 Miners in the past 4 months and they've all paid for themselves. Oh but you are right -- if "Spondoolies-Tech confirms on their webpages they deliver miners to Genesis Mining" then everything else is true. Of course. I mean everything you read on the internet is always true. Just like TV? Regardless - this is the wrong section for "Cloud" or "Ponzi" Mining. Read the forum rules. Finally - "take my pills?" Really? Do people still say that? No offense, but to say something that absurd makes you sound ancient and quite uneducated. Here s a nice fresh piece for you. http://www.coindesk.com/spondoolies-tech-genesis-team-new-cloud-mining-service/I assume all 3 sides, Spondoolies, Genesis Mining and Coindesk are lying and this piece s just another product of my imagination, right? If you are going to argue, then do it with arguments, saying the sky s green cause I says so s not really a smart thing to do.

stupid question: I remember when Beekeeper put the referal to 35% and was supposed to shut it down, he said that it was discussed with some customers. Any idea with whom this was discussed (probably just a lie though... ) ?
Why s that relevant? Probably with these people who opened up online stores to resell his shit.

i wrote to chris (i assume it was him, he is from romania and the info matched up) on facebook and he blocked me straight away, i was not rude, i simply said "are you the man that runs ltcgear? if so please help me out, i need the money urgently." i really just wanted to see if he would reply, but he saw it and then 5 minutes later i was blocked
Hah, the man stole millions and you contacted him and asked him to please help you out cause you need money urgently. Well, that should ve worked out well. Where are you from, Wonderland? Are there elfs there? "millions" you're overreacting a little don't you think ? Am I? Let us say LTCgear s got 5000 users (It s got over 10k but let us be conservative). Let us say the average weekly payout per user is 0.5 BTC (it is way, way, above that, but let us be conservative again). So, 5000*0.5 BTC = 2500 BTC per week 2500 * $220 (current BTC price) = $550k per week. Currently he owes us 7 weeks of late payments $550k * 7 = $3 850 000 Almost 4 MILLION USD. Again, this is all very conservative. The real debt is at least 2x that, so closer to 8 million USD. Now you come back and tell me he s going to pay us. Ha? Really? i can't tell you who is going to pay you but what i can tell you is that i don't care i leave in profit. I am in profit too but that does not mean I don't care for people who are not. Not to mention this scammer leaving with our money.

Who knows, maybe some of the so called ponzi scams will be among the very last men standing ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Ah, this crytpo turned from such a shiny coin into a mud pit, filled with scamers and speculators. Guess there s no industry which can exist without some serious regulation. It s in human nature to scam other people.

Bitman/Hashnest also seems to start going down. People start reporting very weird things, blocks cannot be found for 7-8 hours which results in negative profits. This whole cloud mining industry seems to be one large pile of crap.

An obvious scam. Only greedy fools and noobs could ve invested their money into something which provides unrealistic ROI without any explanation how do they do that.
Think and investigate BEFORE you invest. No photos, no verifiable names of the owners, no mining address, it is a SCAM.

Site down again.I should copyright that.
There s really no point in reporting it every time it goes down for a few minutes. It ll be down again and there will be absolutely no change. Once it goes down for a day, we ll know its over.

Why don't you put LTCgear under collapsed? They have not paid their clients for 8 weeks. The fact the website s still online means shit.

Stop dealing with illegal shit and you ll not have any need to use crypto mixers.

There is time for investing and there s time for not doing anything. Right now I think that doing nothing is the smart thing. First, BTC price s very low, buying hash with BTC is not a very smart idea. Second, the more efficient ASIC models are probably going to be out in the next quarter so buying these old ones now is again not a smart idea. Third, if you do decide to go for cloud, there are at least 2 or 3 cheaper options compared to Genesis Mining, strictly talking about legit companies with photos and transparency. Fourth, POS become more and more important recently, there are some coins which might be worth of investing and are based on POS. In this case, electricity is not important cause you can forge them by yourself. At least these are my thoughts.

Well.....I do have you guys to discuss these issues with. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) True but we cant resolve yours (our) problems. So you see my point. It s more productive to play Pacman then wasting time and energy discussion specific ltcgear issues here or anywhere else. If he s gonna come back, it s gonna be according to his terms. You don't like it, I don't like it, tough luck.

I'm a long time member of this forum and I have a good reputation. I could see you suggesting that if my account had 3 posts and was created a few days ago. I've been an active member of the community for 2 years. Trying to discredit a member with a long history is ridiculous. My concerns are reasonable. People who just bought their shares in December should not have to pay a fee. Chris said the purchase covers one year of hosting. The majority of us have only owned shares for a couple of months at best. He has not paid us for weeks and now he is talking about charging us more money. I'm concerned. If that sounds crazy to you, you might be a shill. Regardless, I'm done talking with you. I wasn't pushing for an argument. Just wanted to share what I've experienced and opinions on his announcement now that things are looking fishy.
It will be great if Chris pays us what we are owed. I would very much like for his operation to be legitimate and successful. If he wants to charge me a pro-rated fee for 1 month of 2014, I'll pay it. Otherwise, we've got some issues to discuss.
Dude, u have missed 1 thing. You have nobody to discuss these issues with. You email him, he wont reply. You ask a question here, he wont reply. What can you do about it? Nothing.
