Just because you made some money through poker, you are now ready to start your career as only gambler?
My advice is keep that $1000 for your expenses until you get your new job,you might lose all that thousand dollars even in a day itself.
He's trying to look for a solution which he thinks gonna fit himself while taking up a rest. The situation he's currently in is a struggle and I understand that because he had won, he became confident with it. But he's looking for a faster solution and he thinks that's the solution. And he had mentioned that it's his 'dream' to become a pro poker player, well everyone has a dream but who knows? there's nothing wrong to have dream like that but it's up to him on how he'll execution his plan. Just be careful with the triggering effect if the results aren't so good.

Though I agree mostly with what you have said and you already mentioned the key to avoid these scams and that is through the known strategy of DYOR.
Doing your research with due diligence will save from everything. You don't have to skeptical with everything, you just have to be knowledgeable and fully aware of the potential scam schemes and attempts that are existing today.
I agree! Additionally we also need to diversify our portfolio with different digital assets to minimize risks and I think the OP has forgotten to discuss the importance of keeping our computer systems safe or in other words, don't let your system be compromised or be hacked, that I think is one of the important way to protect your capital instead of focusing on the integrity of projects alone. Imho. Security of your computer and your assets will do. It's part of growing while you are living in the world finance and investments including cryptocurrency or bitcoin investment alone. Diversifying should be done by everyone and it's not just for crypto's which I reckon what TP has said. In this manner, you are starting to become responsible the way you are managing and on how you are spending your money on worthy things.

I've checked their exchange and I thought that this was the integrated exchange that already have with their wallet. But after looking to it, the volume's pretty low obviously because they are starting.
I don't see any reason why this exchange will affect other popular exchanges. It's normal for a growing company to compete with other companies through adding another service which they think they can fill the needs of their customers.

PayPal transactions are reversible that's why the escrow you contacted rejected your request. However, you can buy bitcoin with PayPal through different websites. I've used virwox before and it's already a long time since I've used them. But upon looking at their dashboard, they are still offering it. And when you are done buying bitcoin there, you can now ask the escrow to do the deal for you since you have bitcoin already. edit: ~snip~
Thanks for the correction, it's typo.

I've seen that rise but I'm not looking for any reason for this. Let's just take it as something normal during these rainy days.
The price is stabilizing on $9500 and the possible support for this time is $9000.

Can you give example of that company that you are looking out right now? I think that you have been introduced wrongly to bitcoin by someone who's investing into HYIPs and cloud mining websites.
By putting your bitcoin with those 'company' you are likely to get scammed and not hacked.

Most of mine are bitcoin and Ethereum. I've been hearing the news about XSN but still I'm not interested of buying other coins that I haven't fully researched well. Ark is popular around 2016 up to 2017 but now it had gone through the lower rank although 109 isn't a bad rank. @OP you've got a nice portfolio and it's highly valued. OP, does got a nice portfolio with high value but I don't support the part of him screen shot and posting his portfolio cause it can make him a target. I don't want to boast my portfolio as well but he already did it. Next time, he shouldn't be this aggressive because I'm also concern about him. He can learn from others suggestion and might extract and apply it in the future. I'm amazed to see on how big his portfolio. Certainly Bitcoin should be a large chunk of any portfolio.
ETH I personally am not a big fan of. Will have a look at XSN, never heard about it before.
I don't have XSN too but it's becoming noisier these days because of their staking. And every investors are looking to that kind of source of income and you will have to need at least 15k XSN to run a masternode.

You chose the oldest privacy coins. But what about some new? Like Grin or Beam? I think that these 2 have a better chance to earn you money than Verge or Pivx. I personally like Pivx but not Verge. We have difference when it's about the top privacy coins. Monero will never get out of this list and it has remained as the top privacy coin. With a decent number of Pivx, you can earn through its staking. I also like dash if I just have enough spare money to invest but now I'll stay holding my bitcoin holdings and wait until it goes up and will prolly invest to these preferred privacy coins.

This is an unending debate whether bitcoin is a store of value and labeled as digital gold. Obviously, we people from this community would agree to say that bitcoin is a store of value and also said that it's the modern gold or digital gold.
The beauty of bitcoin is that it has a lot of use case including those two that was mentioned.

The price of $7.5k per bitcoin is too low It isn't too low, what's too low? $1k, $2k and $3k support that we have already surpassed. Don't let yourself be confident with the current prices and just accept the flow of the market whether we will stay on $9k or not. So what if the support would be $7.5k? Aren't we looking for another support if the price is stable on $9k level? if by next week we didn't get out of $9.5k, I'll expect the unexpected although I don't want to see it at that low support.

Cryptocurrencies natural characteristic is being volatile. This is the reason why many thinks that it doesn't have a fair value but the community determines its fair value through supply and demand.
Very simple, if there's no demand but it has a lot of supply, there's no one that will buy it and it's value will be worthless. As for the market cap, we just did passed the long bear market for the entire year of 2018 and now think of what's next.

You know Didi Taihuttu? he's the first person whoever did this. I don't have the guts to do this if ever this is for real, good luck with your journey. Your success is every bitcoin holder's success, we share the same road and roller coaster.
But before deciding to do that, have you really think of this for so many times?

BitDice has added EOS as an available currency on the site! You can now deposit and play Dice, Blackjack, and BitAces with EOS!
Surprising addition that BitDice has added EOS. I don't hold EOS but adding the top 8th coin on CMC would be nice since the platform itself has some casino's built up. This is more convenient for those who do love to play using their EOS Yeeep.

I have a friend who's a professional poker player now and is competing with local tournaments. Didn't even expected that he's going to be like that because he's a classy guy and has a professional job so whenever he's about to compete, he asks consent from his boss.
I didn't know the full story on how he became a pro and he didn't even mentioned the hardships he went. But if OP really wants to become a pro poker player, my suggestion is you have to be prepared with whatever the outcome of your decision.

You are responsible for your account, if you didn't do something to tighten the security then its your negligence.
But if you insist that it's not your fault, then file a complain against this incident to the exchange where your account was hacked. There are circumstances that it's a backdoor hack and it's the negligence of the exchange. In other words, this depends on the situation but unless the exchange proved that it's not on their part and you are aware on how you protected your account, it's hard to pin point though they can just simply deny that it's not their fault.

This is a large deal if its serious, not familiar on how's going to be the procedure for this kind of deal but it's either a deal from a whale or exchange of your choice. But care to tell in what country you live? most trades on the forum like this, big or small are on Currency Exchange and you will need an escrow for this trade. Edit: I've seen you have already made the same post on the section, close this thread.

Why you need to maintain at least thousands of XLM if you have won their airdrop? These airdrop things are becoming dead now and if they ask you to deposit first and they have given a certain for you to download just to claim the reward, don't believe them.
I'm not fully aware of what's happening with stellar but these kinds of airdrops and giveaways became popular first on twitter, the send first and send back style to scam people.
