5921  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: August 04, 2020, 09:19:24 AM
Regarding this new change, more wiggle room, the better.
More like flexible one.

Since the new terms do not worsen the position of the participants, but make them better, the new terms take effect immediately.
Thanks BestChange I think all will agree on this new term.

There are some campaign who utilized bonus system.
Like this one on Bustadice:

Bonus
There is an additional 100$ bonus that will be split between up to 5 participants in the campaign. The most constructive users will be chosen to share this bonus.

What if BestChange have something like this too. Im sure everyone would be eager to post contructively as having bonus for quality post is really sweet. But of course just a mere suggestion, as BestChange already covered a lot of payments weekly. Also I think its gonna be tough to choose with 58 participants if ever.
5922  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ScamAlert] Chamathcapital.com fake 5000 btc giveaway on: August 04, 2020, 08:13:04 AM
This is not good. There are still some who are really sending funds on that address. On the other hand, do you think those guys are really victim? I have a thought that possibly these bitcoins sent were part or accomplice of the scammer? Just a wild hunch but there are people who are doing this trick to make the giveaway looks more authentic.

But its always good to report all kind of scam here. 0.1 to 0.2 btc is like 100% profit without having sweat is purely scam.
5923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: paxful kyc problem on: August 04, 2020, 08:05:10 AM
Can I keep selling and buying btc by using paxful without kyc via changing
email and cellphone number constantly?

Maybe cabalism13 can help you his a moderator of Paxful group.

Do you like to do buy and sell on a dex type? Aside from what Jawhead999 suggested. I will be delighted to suggest to you JellySwap. But I think their service will likely to come out soon. Its a crosschain dApp for almost every blockchain. Check out this Preview of the product Id likely to make a post about this as Ive tried the platform soon.

5924  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Neirox Possible ponzi schemes on: August 04, 2020, 04:20:00 AM
I think it's almost the same platform as Netermix when registering and will get $ 6 in ETH in terms of interface and promotion as well as spam using a new account.
Maybe they are one company or same group. Few days ago Ive posted about nethermix scam thread. Probably they have been alerted with the scam accusation and decided to stop. I had some friends who idioticly send money to the platform and still waiting for nothing. I advise them already but didnt listen. Same case for this one, Im sure 100% this is a scam too.

Will support the flag. Good Job OP!

5927  Other / Meta / Re: Double posting of a thread on: August 04, 2020, 02:59:37 AM
LFC_bitcoin has posted this on meta- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5266445.0
And posted the same message on Beginners and Help also.

As in same content with similar words and exact topic? Or with different approach but has alike subject? s far as Forum rule concern:

12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting it in the local language boards if it's translated).

Not specifically mentioned if the latter Ive said is applied. Unless the content has no difference with context.

but at the same time there might be a good number of people that don't read the Meta section at all.
But if its for the purpose of viewers, maybe its okay(?) but referring to the rules we could somehow say its not allowed unless used local translation for duplicating the post.
5928  Economy / Economics / Re: In the pandemic economy, tech companies are raking it in on: August 03, 2020, 05:07:57 AM
This Covid-19 pandemic was a gift for the tech companies. Because most of the people are staying people and they have nothing to do without internet. That's why many tech giants like facebook, netflix, whats'app, instagram got a huge earning boost.
Oh boy! I wouldnt called it a gift but more like a curse. No one wanted this pandemic to happen. Those giant tech were privilege due to the circumstances. Somehow I dont want to think that they like what is happening inspite of their profits. Truth be told but they are probably will benefit to this crisis whereas other field will suffered heavily.

Physical businesses are all affected and this has a lot effect on the overall economy than the increase of profits by these tech giant.
5929  Other / Serious discussion / Dedicated thread for serious Defi Discussion on: August 03, 2020, 04:29:49 AM
Someone asked about why there is no Defi Section. Obviously its because we have already a dedicated section for that and its here:

Do we have some section in forum for Defi projects and new tokens listings?
I looked in all forum and can't find it.
It should be merged or can be found from any of these sections.
- Announcement (Altcoins)
- Token (Altcoins)
- Service Announcement (Altcoins)

I took the liberty to create a dedicated section here for Defi Topics that will shows only true quality defi discussion. Ive put in here as suggestion of ETFbitcoin make sense.

If people really want quality discussion which related to altcoin, using Serious Discussion section or create "Serious Discussion" for altcoin is slightly better idea.

For those who are really interested into defi space. Here are some good post about defi. Read it first then come here and join the discussion.

Overview on DeFi - a new hot trend in crypto by OcTradism
DeFi - ETH Financial Ecosystem (September 2019) by zasad@

Any comments and suggestions must be accurate and straight to the point. We will see those users who are really interested on this as serious discussion dont count on your signature quota.

Putting up self-moderation to avoid spam too.

5930  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: @Husires Top-merited user, recent merit on: August 03, 2020, 04:08:42 AM
For some people, receiving merit is quite easy but maintaining it is difficult.
Actually can if the person posting habit wouldnt change and continue its consistency. Merits come and go, what is important is never to expect merit for a post.

It's better to make a topic that you really master it. Don't create a topic only by considering if you are interested in that topic.
This is frequently happening here. Some forgot to use this function and ending up his thread locked by moderators. This is one I gave prioritize to avoid redundancy and repetition of topics. One must remembered this step.

Ive created this Compilation of helpful Quizzes related to bitcointalk forum and I must say that majority of the listed here are from Husires well done bro!

I agree to provide evidence of some of their conversations or
Let's just wait. Im sure Murat will clear things off and do this when its time. I bet he still with some discussion on the team to fix or come up with arrangement.

Title should be changed to scam instead of possible scam because he scam manager Murat he worked with the project to maximize the promotion so it can attract investors then left him without acknowledging his effort, investors should be aware of this kind of action.
Ive already explained in the context. I put possibly cause as Ive talked with Murat he still on negotiation with the team and still trying to settle the score on his payment. What if they paid him? Should I put scam all the way? Anyway I will update it once Murat told me or inform here that there is no chance. Dont worry, I will make sure everyone aware of this case.
5932  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [How to] Detect and recognize projects on: August 02, 2020, 07:51:21 AM
There are many topics on this, so let's go to bookmark them and use them later when you need to investigate new projects Collection of comprehensive guides on identify and avoid scam projects
I like your collection/compilation as Ive always read some of those guide listed there. Its really helpful cause Ive always checking out some new ICO/IEO with campaign and reviewing their project thoroughly.

Though this must also be on the Reputation section, I think this fits here as a tutorial, a warning, and a reminder.
Topic like this although pointed in general should be here on B&H as a guide for newbies.

OP, Id like to suggest the technology and use case involved can be a good indication of recognizing a good project.. There are some projects that have a really great innovative platform but doesn't have any team info or activity on social media.

5934  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Putin signed a law on the regulation of cryptocurrencies from 2021 on: August 02, 2020, 05:43:01 AM
I don't see the news affecting the market (domestic or otherwise) and it also probably won't be enforced.
Most likely it will at some point (Russia probably holds one of huge crypto community, investors and traders). The one who really got affected by this are the Russian crypto communities involved in crypto. They should leave country to do some crypto trading or business related to it or else used Russian own dedicated digital exchange with hard tax applied.

Also, I should make one thing clear, they aren't going to ban holding cryptocurrency, only doing anything else with it.
Thats totally unfair if even holders will be subjected to any violation for having it. Poor russians investors, they needed to fly somewhere off Russia to dump asset.

RAKIB’s letter says one of the bills introduced prohibits the issuance of cryptocurrencies using servers located in Russia and web domains registered in the country, which means local crypto businesses will have to leave for other jurisdictions.

Putin already made those guys miserable with these provisions.
5935  Other / Meta / Re: Where to post asking if anyone is interested in starting a "project" together? on: August 02, 2020, 05:02:10 AM
I think if you worry too much about rules and such, step on someone's toe then just discuss your idea in here.
Not a bad attitude to worry about being in wrong section at least he is concern and pay attention to the forum rule to post on the right section which is good characteristic of poster with sense of responsibility.

To Op, since the Project Development section is for new ideas, you can simply post there the topic. Even its related to altcoin, I think what you will post I assume probably is the drawbacks and possible unique integration right? At some point when the discussion goes to altcoin topic majority then locked it. Then start a new topic in Altcoin service discussion, to explain and detailed it. Just my opinion.

then I think posting a thread on either Project Development or Altcoin Discussion is enough depending on what you really are up to.
Im not recommending to altcoin discussion, that section is highly spammed thread. If the idea is serious, he can post there but make sure to activate Self-moderated thread so he can delete spammer's post.

5937  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines will drop as a Country, Economy on its worst! on: August 01, 2020, 09:29:30 AM
We already knew how COVID-19 is dangerous in early January, and as you can see, some countries already prevented the huge cases by performing a travel ban. It is obvious that sacrificing a few days is better than sacrificing a lot of months that will be resulted into waste
If only our Government has thick ball during the first day to impose travel ban, then we would not suffer heavily with this pandemic. Its not only the government's fault but our community has lack of discipline. During locked down, you can still see people lurking even its not allowed to stroll, ignoring the deadly virus to easily contract people.

Anyway what done is done. Infairness, somehow some business have started to progress but of course there is sacrifice needed in order to stay of the game, unfortunately the consequence beared by poor filipinos. Infairness werent that worst but not that good either. Its just matter of handling the worst scenario. Read this, [1]

For 2nd month they sent only bounty pariticipants payment. when i asked about my payment they keep giving different excuses & they are not willing to pay me.
Pariticipant will be paid in full (Gas price from my own pocket).

Thats awful dude. Sorry for your loss. If its okay can you share here some evidence or any form of conversation that they really refusing to pay you for the works you did. This will be a strong cause for everyone to tag the project even more and warn that the team dont pay such due.

Also can I quote this message of you and add on the OP? for additional details on this case against Ledu.

5939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUR TOP REQUIREMENTS FOR INVESTING IN ICOs on: August 01, 2020, 05:34:56 AM
What are the main things you look out for when investing in ICOs?
Is the team behind the ICO
Is it an innovative concept that would benefit others

For me, these things. Team behind ICO is important for me, cause I checked whether the team has the capability to execute or experience to develop what they are launching which should be the case for every new ICO.

Also the tech and how useful or unique this new innovation evolved. Like for scalability, does it beat any altcoin kings in terms of scaling, or does they improve the congestion of network, or like solved the issues crosschain about different blockchain. Something like that.

In fact Ive invested on Avax ICO and I do hope my investment could be good in the long run.

I was kinda hoping this thread should be on self moderation to avoid some spam.

For me ICO is one of fraud and I will not invest in ICO even though everything looks good, ICO has taken many victims so avoid investing in ICO
Cant force you to believe as experienced can be a nightmare for everyone, but dont called them all as scam there are some with potential if you just look carefully with it.
5940  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ICObench PLATFORM WARNING on: August 01, 2020, 05:15:24 AM
And that lesson was learned a few years ago. And that is why ICO is dead.
Yeah youre right. But there are still new ICO that possibly could survive or yet can be great. Im not sure, but I am positive about Avalanche ICO which had raised 42million USD. Its not same on typical ICO seen on some ICOrating sites like this scam one.

I took a look over 2 weeks ago and people out of the official telegram chat group kept pushing how money had been stolen and the admins did nothing but delete the chat. NOw it looks like the entire telegram chat group was shutdown. Where have they all gone now?
Thats a typical attitude of admins that cant accept criticism. They will delete your message if you are inquiring about something they dont want to answer, as long as you complain or create any fuds that's what will happened. This is not new, and been did by scam projects.  If they turn it down then they officially say goodbye. Their whereabouts would possibly on new group creating another new name that exactly what they did on ICObench.
