Originally, it was going to be available later for a >0.25 BTC donation, which seems reasonable (not free). That language has been changed, maybe Sampey can clarify.
Edit: I see now, the 3rd phase, "free donator" hmmm

Timer of "lookup process" actually is every 10 seconds. (Each market trader on C.A.T have a dedicate process)
If the first algo applied on the first calls give some "result" there will be another calls.
If there's http problems, retry is every 15 seconds.
Some API calls on C.A.T. are "On Demand".

Yes maybe, but if i end auction in a few day i'm not able to garanteed all the things i've said before. And the most importante thing is that John/Vern knows about things that happens. I Cannot sell 30+ copy without see if Cryptsy server is able to process all the request, or it needed more power. And i want to see people happy of C.A.T. . Trust me, it's better this way, and 2 weeks are not a long time. Man it's two weeks now? This saddens me. Was hoping to be able to afford an initial payment to raise money for my rent due in 12 days. No need control for PumpNDump. Ping pong algo is independent by market condition, the worst thing that can happens is that you orders remain in a "stale" condition, while C.A.T. is waiting for the return of "minimal gain condition" you've set.
If a PumpNDump starts there are many possibilities that you gain a lot because Ping-Pong follow the pump-n dump automatically

This is a good software for people who can have a PC open 24H a day and make profit, sometimes little sometime higher. Yes you're right, battle royale is not a good idea. I will end the bid normally. Ok? But no excuse, performance test is one of the most important things, and each programmer can confirm this. Don't you believe? What happens if a lot of call create a DDOS on Cryptsy? I would do a beta test at first with a few users. Even 10 is too high for the number of transactions your software seems to be doing. You're basically asking for who can pay the most money to beta test your software. If your software loses people money, you'll have very pissed off people who paid you 10+ BTC. Yes you're right. Only 1 problems..........my software don't loose people money The only one who risk money was me while writing this software. donyll what's the problem? There's something you don't like? Do not rely on the estimated portfolio to calculate your holdings. We are working on refining the algorithm.Who do you think is the one who have "crack" the estimate portfolio value?  I've done this only with 1 copy of C.A.T. I've made a lot of operation that Cryptsy had some problems, and Vern/John works hard to find a solution, and i think they need another time. Do you want to see you portfolio value decrease while the real value is increasing? And open each day a Ticket for a Audit on your account? One day i have 1.9 BTC while my real value was 4. So please, trust me, wait 2 weeks is better for everyone. |

I can't sorry, as i said before : OK here we are with the Auction End Date.
These are the factors :
- Don't want to wait users : Auction End -> Pay (We Decide how much day to complete the 10 payments) -> You get immediatedly C.A.T (according to your rank)
- On Cryptsy there's a message " BigVern @cryptsy Do not rely on the estimated portfolio to calculate your holdings. We are working on refining the algorithm." I Hope the problems will be fixed soon. I Want you to see you real portfolio value when you use C.A.T
- I Must explain Vern/John that 10 users will start to use this programs and many others will come, they must know that will be a massive API call number (and the number of transaction will dramatically increase, this is a good thing for them)
- I Must write all the things i can do to give the best beta i can I don't want to have problems with release. Today i start talk with John/Vern of this project by private mail and ask them few things (i don't want to do reverse engineering to understand Cryptsy structure). I want to know from them some things about server performance while i'm trying to give best setup from 1st beta release (not after with angry people). The advantage is that you'll get a better version (and more configurable) than the current. |

Yes you can, but if you are in a PUMPnDUMP with a big amount of money you will do more (that is what happen tonight with 100.000 ZET to me) Of course. More money = more profit. That is a know fact. Sadly I just have 1 BitCoin, so PUMPnDUMP isn't something for me ;c The only thing I could do is be smart and go with the PUMPnDUMP flow. My idea, is not to make BIG Buy/Sell with a programs, sometimes is better to work with your brain. Max order i've made with C.A.T. was 0.4-0.5 and only because i've a million ZET, so i've user 10% of total numbers. |
