5922  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [DISKUSI] Harga Altcoins - XRP, BCH, LTC, EOS, dll on: March 17, 2020, 10:33:10 PM
Kecuali kalau emang punya target jangka pendek.

5923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 17, 2020, 10:23:59 PM
Based on some disadvantages above, especially for the last one (playing with Corona patients at one table), it clearly shows that online gambling should be the priority for now. I guess you are trying to make people aware that online gambling is much better than the traditional one. We are safe at home, no need to go everywhere, and can do whatever we want during playing the gambling. That's what I get from this topic.   Cheesy
5924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are so many people who get addicted on gambling? on: March 17, 2020, 10:15:19 PM
Everyone has a different nature, point of view, and target (purpose) in gambling. For people who only want to have fun and don't think seriously about the rewards, I think they can have a lower chance to be addicted. But for people who target to win and always more desire once they get losses, I assume they can have a bigger chance to be addicted. So, the point is how you can control yourself and have a reasonable purpose in gambling.
5925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: March 17, 2020, 09:55:13 PM
Trading requires alot of things while gambling is just a few things .
Yes, some gambling such as Roulette and Lottery are no need skills or a certain strategy. But others may be different, and probably require a bit of skills or strategy. While trading, surely it needs sufficient knowledge, at least about trading strategy and understanding the market trends.

Both are terrible if you overdo either one.
It is applied to everything. Overdo is something to avoid by all people. That's why everyone should have a limitation, target, and a certain way (strategy) both in trading and gambling. Smart traders know when and how much to buy or sell, while smart gamblers should understand the limitation on his funds for gambling.
5926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and KYC on: March 16, 2020, 11:09:37 PM
In my own view, it's because there is no pressure from the government. No hard and strict regulations imposed. Different from how fiat gambling is regulated.
Definitely. Since they are online gambling, the government will be hard to control or give pressure to them. Moreover, some of them may be totally anonymous and don't know where they basically. So, in this case, who will force them to implement KYC/AML? While for exchanges, they are commonly known to register in a certain country. Then, it will be easy to handle them doing KYC/AML. (IMHO as an amateur)  Cheesy
5927  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [DISKUSI] Harga Ethereum on: March 16, 2020, 10:10:15 PM
5928  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil price War will Bring real War soon in Middle east on: March 16, 2020, 09:26:24 PM
As long as Russia, the US, China or the European forces don't get involved, it will probably just have an isolated effect...
Indeed. But it is likely hard to avoid interference from these countries. Oil price war will attract the attention of those big countries and they probably analyze how they can get involved. Then, we may see some drama that leads to real war. And the victim is the Middle East country itself.
5929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play gambling that require skills and techniques. on: March 16, 2020, 08:34:17 PM
~~Almost half of the games you mentioned in your blog is luck based game, so there's no skills or techniques needed obviously.
I agree with you. For example Roulette and Lottery, these kinds of games absolutely don't require skills or certain techniques. So, I'm curious how OP determined the skills or techniques for every game in that article. Is it based on his experience or other's references? Really expect that OP can answer our questions.  Wink
5930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas closes casinos and hotels in lieu of coronavirus on: March 16, 2020, 08:24:12 PM
I can't imagine how much loss the casino and hotel owners in Las Vegas..
You are right. They must have big losses because of this closing. However, it is the only way to prevent transmission of the coronavirus and ensure that no infection to more victims. In this situation, I think 'life or health' is more important than money.

I'm sure the panic that is happening right now is increasing the growth of online gambling faster.
Yep. Online gambling is indeed the option to stay playing gambling. Now, all gamblers must be aware that online gambling sites are very helpful and have special advantage than the gambling places in real life. Surely, this may trigger the significant growth on the users of gambling sites.
5931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 15, 2020, 11:43:36 PM
In times of crisis no gambler will put into gambling his or her full resources to the gambling because of their responsibilities from families.
It should be done by all gamblers but I doubt all follow it. Well, you are a good gambler if you still remember your responsibility to family in this situation. I agree to make a priority for family needs than spend your money on unurgent needs.

crisis are times we curb our essences in spending.
Yes, I do the same way. I make a priority on everything to use funds (money). Only use the money for urgent and necessary things.
5932  Other / Meta / Re: Use your smerit on: March 15, 2020, 11:11:08 PM
I check and use them regularly, so I rarely keep many sMerit. Recently, I never keep more than 10 sMerit for a long time. Especially now, it is only a single sMerit (1). For a member like me, it won't be surprised if seeing no sMerit. I think it will be better to apply another idea for a surprising moment on April 1. How about if every member is required to do KYC to access their account at that time?  Grin Cheesy

For someone who doesn't understand what April 1 is. Please googling or use "search" feature! No need to PM me.  Cheesy
5933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 14, 2020, 11:58:17 PM
it is better to play online gambling than real life casino, it is better for you to stay at home to avoid contact to many people.
Good suggestion. You are right, to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus, it is better to stay at our home. We have online gambling which is absolutely no need to go anywhere. If we want to play gambling, just go to some gambling sites and enjoy playing there. That's one of the real advantages of having online gambling. Imagine if no online gambling, gamblers must be no choice unless waiting! Cheesy
5934  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Share]: Satoshi's Original Whitepaper Audiobook on: March 14, 2020, 11:26:39 PM
The original Satoshi whitepaper isn't that great in all honestly for those that are new to it.
I agree that reading the whitepaper without an explanation (read-only) will be a bit difficult to understand by newbies (new one). What they need is a simple and brief explanation about it. For newbies, long reading would be too boring, they need to understand it step by step. Many of them have no basic knowledge of crypto or Bitcoin. Even, some may be the first time to know this. Regarding some videos above, basically, it is better to explain it briefly in a simple way than reread what Satoshi has written (WP). IMO
5935  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: March 14, 2020, 11:06:13 PM
They're all very concerned by the huge drop, but none has sold a single BTC.
It means that your friends know how to control themselves from panic. And they understand the declining trend won't be lasting. So why we need to sell our BTC? We still have a big reason to hold BTC, it is a halving schedule. Moreover, before the current decline, we saw good news related to Bitcoin adoption and its legalization in some countries. It is enough to be some reasons to keep our BTC.  Smiley

We're all holders.
Yes. I also prefer to hold than selling it at a cheap price. I've no reason to trade my BTC now. Unless it is about an urgent need, I will keep all the Bitcoins on my wallet.

I believe the sharp fall in BTC's price has been caused by a very small number of individuals. Waiting for data...
Do you mean whales? Actually, we have seen many dumps in the last few months. But the same with you, I've also no data and proofs to show who they are. They are probably whales, traders, investors, or people who have the exchanges.
5936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the news we need for market to recover on: March 14, 2020, 10:49:11 PM
what if our medicine experts finally find the cure, will the market recover  because of this news?
The market will recover along with the handling of the coronavirus by every country in the world. The cure has found already but unfortunately, not all countries have it now. Every country needs cures to deal with infected people. And they must ensure their citizens that coronavirus isn't something very scary anymore. The infected people can recover, while normal people can prevent it in some proper ways. If all people have realized that no need to panic anymore, then the economic and financial sectors will recover (including the crypto market). IMO
5937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Positive World Response on: March 13, 2020, 11:51:55 PM
The larger world response to this economy disease is not that bad at all, ....
That is probably one of the powers of media, spreading the news and issues about the coronavirus (the hottest condition right now). Many people are influenced by this coronavirus condition that causes a big change in the market of cryptocurrency especially.

..traders should please head to coinbase you will see that the exchange has larger buy orders instead of sell orders, few other sources too, what this means is the reaction from the world is good...
I think that they are heading to fulfill their basket with the BTC and other coins at a very low price. Right now, many people are selling their coins in the very low rate. therefore, some other people use this condition to gain more and more coins at a low rate. This is normal. When you can get many coins in the low price, why not?
5938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be real projects on: March 13, 2020, 11:44:29 PM
Becareful of fake promises from new projects.. snip
Never believe in sweet promises, exactly, especially in the world of cryptocurrency. The more they offer projects that seem very legit, tantalizing, and provide promising benefits, the more alarming. So you have to be really careful about analyzing it. Because the reality is not as easy as the legit promise. It could be that you are being scammed.

...how can we be promised that a city will use A.I technology when no single A.I project is successful in crypto space? Be wise fellas, some things will never work on blockchain, at least not this time
AI technology may be promising. However, we must also analyze whether they are realistic or not, whether the team is trusted and professional in that sector or not. So far, I found less successful projects concerning AI. Well, be careful is a must.
5939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Corona drop over or will it continue? on: March 13, 2020, 11:36:35 PM
Like it or not, the reality is that the coronavirus has spread throughout the world and has had a tremendous influence on various sectors. No exception to cryptocurrency. Since the widespread of Corona Virus, the market suddenly very easily dropped dramatically, even in just a matter of days, the price of Bitcoin has really dropped to 5k. Will this continue? Or is it just panic for a moment? Whatever the conditions, hopefully, this coronavirus will be resolved faster and the market will return to normal as usual.
5940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: March 12, 2020, 09:57:05 PM
why are other bounties getting ruined after launch?
There are many factors to make it happens. Bad management or strategy from the project can be one of the factors. If they choose bad exchanges to list their tokens, it probably makes less interest from investors. Then, the price may be decreasing. Also, if the projects cannot show good progress related to their MVP. It can trigger a decrease in people's trust, so people become not interested anymore to buy the tokens.
