The lose in the El Classico if happens will pull Barcelona back to serious troubles. Griezman, Messi, Bartomeu, and many things. I don't see how they can end this season as a champion. I don't want to make you sad but honestly I think Barcelona will end this season as a loser again, in La Liga and in Champions League. In Champions League, if they are luck enough, super luck, they can win a surprising trophy but it is very small odds. Bayer Muchen is here and they are still strong.
I still think Barcelona has more chances to win this season title comparing to Real Madrid which is very inconsistent right now. However, koeman has to find a suitable tactic and count less on Griezmann and more on Fati and Messi. On the defense line I will just pass, it requires more efforts... In the other hand, ATM is doing quite well, didn't lose any game, 2 wins and 2 draws, it surely can do better and fight for the title. BTW they will face Bayern this Wednesday in CL  |

Well 65 voters aren't that important number + 25 voting for City vs 19 for Liverpool isn't that big difference. +2/3 of voters think City or Liverpool gonna win this league title which is accurate imo. However as someone who voted for City, I started thinking from the early games about how able will them to accomplish this mission... I saw many comments about Everton getting a draw vs Liverpool and you were right boys. Seeing the stats, Liverpool seems playing better in term of shots on target and possession, but apparently a dysfunctional defense cannot let them enjoy a win... A draw between Chelsea and Southampton too... Draw between ManU and Newcastle in the first half ...  It appears that City is the one that benefited from today's results, it still lacks 1 match, with 3 goals it can jump in front of Liverpool. Croatia is a rather small country and your players are mostly croatians while France is one of the biggest country of Europe and selects players with foreign roots.
We select players with foreign roots as well. Good exmples are Rakitic who has been raised in Switzerland or Eduardo who is Brazilian and got Croatian nationality since he lived here long time. Then we always have a couple of Bosnian guys in the team but that almost counts as our own Let me extend this a little bit with the French media hypocrisy since I remember them every time this talk took place. The Francafrican national team is playing and a player with an african origin scores, media: yeee the french "name of the guy here" scored. Now the poor guy missed an easy goal, oh the "original African country here" guy missed what a shame!. If they won a title, the French national team won it. If they were eliminated, a picture of African origin players in the first page and let's start the critics... Dunno but I am sure this thing happens all over the world with maybe questions about how 1 or 2 players are loyal to their team/country but what happens in some media in France is beyond logic |

Now the international break is over, I can now return back to this thread. This weekend, we'll have some really interesting fixtures. Manchester city will host Arsenal. City hasn't been in their A-game recently so I'd like to see how they'll perform against Arsenal who have been impressive so far due to recent signings and additions. We won't be seeing those humiliating city 3-5 goal defeat. Also, There's an interesting meyserside derby coming up. Everton has had an interesting form so far and wouldn't want to get that tinted by Liverpool so I'm expecting a action packed game.
Definitely the best two games out of the four that will be played tomorrow! but look at the odds, Everton x4 - Liverpool x1.83 and City x1.51 - Arsenal x5.8... Although I expect Liverpool and City to win their games but the odds are quite unfair especially for Arsenal! City isn't playing in its best shape for quite long time and a draw if not a surprise by Arsenal could easily happens! |

I really struggle to understand how a striker who can't score goals (or provide anything other than some physicality) ends up playing with Neymar, Mbappe and Lewandovski.

I have a feeling most European countries will go into another full lockdown in the next few months. I hope I’m wrong but it just seems that more & more infections are happening every week.
Full luckdown will not happens unless in a limited region, maybe, and for 14-21 days maximum. Countries seem to get pissed with the disastrous consequences on its economies but people can get sick as many as possible until a vaccine comes... The silly Nations League pause ended and back to CL and awesome leagues matches |

Anyways, I'm glad that the break is over and we can look forward to some club football in 2 days times.
That's it. I am getting annoyed and this league isn't too attractive at least for now. The unexpected result was 2 red cards for England and a goal for Denmark. Netherlands seems to done well vs Italy and France managed to escaped Croatia trap with Mbappe. Portugal scored 3 goals without CR7 and Poland finished with the same score vs Bosnia. |
