Funny thing is that I've seen some of these investors actually asking the team to lock up bounty rewards in some telegram groups.


It's not a joke. Some ICO investors have openly admitted to dumping so they can buy back at a lower price, increasing their bags in the process. The strategy seems to be working for them.



You are speaking as if you have a crystal ball. We are not even sure that the value of the token will be worth it once the bounty rewards are unlocked. Perhaps you haven't seen a project yet that despite the effort to lock or delay, the dumping still happened. Go check Foresting's value right now, they just started distributing airdrop and bounty rewards.

Yes, as I have mentioned all these were done by exchanges to fill their pocket since they can see a high demand. I'm not sure if that can be called a scam yet unless they charge exorbitant fees. I'm also not sure anymore if they were really concerned with the crypto community.

Many were only made aware of the competition after Allbit decided to require KYC even before you can deposit.
No Allbit KYC = No trading.
No Trading = No bounty reward.


ADDED Rules to be specific. In case you forgot, bounty was initially for four weeks. Vanta added two more weeks and used bounty hunters in the trading competition. That is unfair. That should have been optional only and not a requirement to withhold 4 weeks of bounty rewards.

Sorry but you sounded like all those hunters I see on ICO telegrams with their price speculation.
Those prices you mentioned may happen so I'm not going to dispute all your shills, you haven't really set any timeline anyway.

Have you ever thought of this before?

When I first heard of IEOs from smaller exchanges, I thought they were simply catering to one of the demands of ICO investors which is immediate exchange listing.

Then came the bigger centralized exchanges like Binance, Bittrex, and Kucoin. It somehow made me wonder why would they open up their platform to crowdfunding. Maybe because they also think that the ICO market is dying? If so, then that would mean less new projects. With less new projects, less potential source of income (listing fees). 

So in the end, it is still all about the $$$. These exchange are probably afraid of losing one of their major source of income

This is basically the story of those who entered the airdrop/bounty game and held on too long to their rewards during the bull run just like me. I can only look back and shake my head now

I know some of those airdrop/bounty tokens will never comeback but I believe I've held some legit ones. Just waiting for another crazy run to unload

Was there an instance where a banned account (because of plagiarism) ever recovered? I have not seen one so far. 

Telegram has made communication more private. Other than being able to delete private messages from both ends, there is also this feature where you can also control when your messages link back to your account if forwarded. https://t.me/telegram/106

You guys might want to ease up on your social media campaigns. Consider lowering it to 3 tweets and 3 posts instead of 5 for both twitter and facebook.

On medium:
- If for example I shared a medium post in my twitter, can I also use the same tweet and report it as personal tweet under twitter campaign?


 
 

This one I fully agree. Some are trying to downplay the effect or the influence of the U.S. SEC on the future of cryptocurrencies. They say it's only in the US but what they do not get is that it could be a precedent for other countries. 
 

There are exceptions though. Just recently, I saw another one who reached hardcap and they did not raise funds thru IEOs.


This is usually applicable to higher ranks and the number of slots is very limited for BTC paying campaigns so it is not really advisable to new hunters.
