5941  Economy / Scam Accusations / MyBitcoinJob obvious scam on: December 05, 2013, 09:42:44 PM
http://mybitcoinjob.com/

An obvious scam is obvious.

Also, feel free to red flag this newbie who is spamming his referral link for that site, either he's very stupid OR he's very stupid.

5942  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why didn't Satoshi Nakamoto just give 10 BTC to everyone in the world for free? on: December 05, 2013, 09:41:08 PM
The two questions everyone has failed to answer:

- Why the hell would someone give $11000 USD to everyone in the world
- How?

OP, don't study bitcoins if you are coming up with these questions.
5943  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is a money or currency? on: December 05, 2013, 09:39:43 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency.  Did you like, not read the first line of Wikipedia and bitcoin.org?
5944  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: buying $60 of bitcoins through interac email money transfer on: December 05, 2013, 09:36:12 PM
I can do this if you want to send via paypal.
Only have a bit up for sale, I'd suggest you PM fast if you want to do @ MT.gox + 3% rate.

5945  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 1.5 BTC, will pay back 2 BTC... on: December 05, 2013, 09:33:48 PM
but I will quite literally put my ass on the line for the 1.5 BTC loan.

Care to explain what this means?  If you don't have collateral, the chances of you repaying are slim, no matter what saying you use.

Didn't you read it?  He'll put some sort of prostitution up, to pay off the debt Grin
@ OP, Inrder for us to get you to go to a lawyer, it'll be wasting many hours of the lender's time to get everything arranged.  So, no.
5946  Economy / Lending / Re: Lf ~20 BTC Loan on: December 05, 2013, 09:30:56 PM
Moral and ethical? The loaner will have my info including phone number so he can always throw me a call if the miner is not pointing the right direction.

That wouldn't work for me. You really need collateral.

Fair enough. Hardware is still avail as of this posting. I will be leaving for work soon so any interested parties please send a PM so I get the email notification.
With this miner, the break even point is about 1 month according to http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/
That seems too good to be true, how long will it take before you actually get the miner in hand?  A few months?
And, I would be willing to but some BTC into this if you are able to provide some sort of collateral.
5947  Economy / Lending / Re: In desperate need of financial help/guidance.... on: December 05, 2013, 09:27:11 PM
Sounds like you got in a big pickle.  Squeeze out of it, and keep on going.  I wouldn't be able to lend you; the amount is too big of a risk and really, it's somewhat still of a sob story; true or not.  Good luck, but with this information and no collateral, I doubt you'll get a loan.
5948  Economy / Lending / Re: Investment Opportunity! [Stupid Idea] on: December 05, 2013, 02:35:10 AM

Oh, that's more stupid then a thought.  lol, I guess if those people were really THAT lazy...

Tons of people are THAT lazy... but they are also not the types of people to invest $1000 into someone/something without collateral.

Figured I would give it a whirl.  I got the room for it and the power supply, but Christmas drained my "me" funds.  I'd like to get the max order of 6 of them and just resell them while they mine.  But, I don't have 6 BTC, only 1zero.something Cheesy

See, I actually want to buy about 3 - 4 right now, BUT it's a bit hard to believe I'll be making $100 + USD a day by doing nothing, and break even in 1.5 months.  It just seems too good to be true, the difficulty will probably increase before I can get the ROI back.  Other than that, I'd be a go and invest a couple thousand.  Anyways, good luck to you!
5949  Economy / Gambling / Re: LetsDice.com Jackpot Report - the 21st hit (IN-POT > 11 BTC) on: December 05, 2013, 02:32:25 AM
I'm sorry, but letsdice looks pretty fucked right now for the investors considering the initial 10k Bitcoins went down by half to 5k.
Was it all the user's winnings or did the investors/owner himself take some away?
5950  Economy / Services / Re: Need Personal Assistant on: December 05, 2013, 02:30:31 AM
Why do you want to hire someone to print something when they can send it digitally over to you easily?
I can try helping you do these odd jobs, not really excited though.  I can do #1 for you, PM me.
5951  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: December 05, 2013, 02:29:01 AM
really good read I stumbled across this in the KNC thread

http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-price-reach-98500-say-wall-street-analysts/

Ha, I knew 100,000 is possible. But I think it will take around 20 years.

I think bitcoin can go both ways -

1. It'll hit skyhigh - tens of thousands to hundreds of thousand
2. It'll die.  Just die, completely.

I'm hoping for the first option, but IMO it's pretty unpredictable.
5952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me build a reputation for my Exchange Business! on: December 05, 2013, 02:24:03 AM
you have $60,000 worth of bitcoins.
Stop right there, why are you asking for a $50 USD loan?
5953  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.4BTC/month just by posting! on: December 05, 2013, 01:30:33 AM
Personally, I think it should be OK to link to your own reputation thread and/or to one thread you were selling something in, but obviously Stunna is the boss here and makes the rules, but as others have said, I would like clarification on this.

Small font personal links/bitcoin addresses etc are allowed below signature. No other paid advertisement/ref links

Alright, cool.  No ref links of any sort, right? damn..  Threads on bitcointalk are allowed, no?

Could you also let me know if my current signature is acceptable?

Yes, I think so; Stunna has now clarified that personal websites are allowed.
5954  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling Bitcoins for Paypal on: December 05, 2013, 01:29:59 AM
lol, why buy from you when users can buy from me? Grin
5955  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Free Mini-Bitcoin Lottery here! [FREE BTC] on: December 05, 2013, 01:29:20 AM
Is it 0.0001? or 0.0002?

Seems a bit low

Well, no body is donating to the funds, so really I have no other choice, if I have to give 20 cents a day, that'll be over a dollar a week, and really, I hope I can increase payouts too.

Arent you a "early" investor? Cheesy

Sure, if you count buying @ $90, $75, $50, $120 respectively, 1 - 4 bitcoins each time.  Course, I lost most in gambling on JD, satoshimines, primedice, and a few other gambling sites.  Really, I'm not that interested in giving away a large amount of bitcoins unless I can actually fund it daily.  Also, faucets are not usually funded 100% from the owner, most of its budget comes from donors, from my experience.

Ya, well I have given out around 0.2 out of my pocket to my faucet and my twitter giveaway. Anyways good luck!

Nice, that's a bit more then how much I have given out to newbies, I'm hoping to give a hundred + dollars worth overtime though.
5956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie will do anything for BTC on: December 05, 2013, 01:28:32 AM

5957  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com Faucet Official Thread - Currently 0.00001BTC/Min! Win 1 BTC! on: December 05, 2013, 01:27:10 AM
Site is up and running

Hmm, I've been trying all day? Could it be a problem my end?

Ya, try clearing chache and cookies. What exactly shows up when you try to go to the site?

Perhaps primedice is going on and off?  It's loading for me but unusually slow at some points, working pretty fast now.

How do we know the game is fair?
How do we know you're not just sending the reward to one of your own addresses?

The faucet is probably one of the most popular faucets at the moment.
I like it, but it pays out very little, just like all other faucets.  Its number rolling game (multiply BTC) is provably fair.
Also, thanks for the credit @OP! Smiley

Are you talking about something like this being implemented on a website?
