5941  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 19, 2020, 09:15:07 PM
OP what makes you afraid of complying simple rules by providing KYC ? Are you a public entity or has some serious records on your country thats why you are afraid? KYC is mandatory now in most exchanges because of money laundering if you understand this then send KYC and comply with all the rules if not let Hitbtc take your funds forever.
But, there are still good exchanges that makes KYC not that mandatory, this is common for HitBTC to be freezing account and demanding for KYC, I have preferred binance to HitBTC in this regard, it is clearly stated the amount you can have on binance without no kyc required. There are many reasons people do not like KYC, because hackers are very dangerous and any data beaches could lead to impersonation attack.
5942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Using an old version of Bitcoin Core on: November 19, 2020, 07:50:16 AM
I will like to know any good reason why you do not want o update to the new version of bitcoin core, I think it has nothing to deal with synchronizing of blockchain which should be the issue, and as you are using the full client, you will have to sync. But, update does not demand much data, then why not updating when the recent update have less bugs to the previous ones. I will say it is not perfect if you do not update if you are actively usimg the bitcoin core.
5943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another billionaire just invested in bitcoin on: November 18, 2020, 08:15:41 PM
Bitcoin is still going bullish, and we are still in November, it is very possible bitcoin will hit all time high very soon before 2021, the bitcoin halving could have contributed to this, but practically, whales like grayscale and many others are responsible for the recent price trends. The news is pleasant as it shows how the world are turning to invest on the right coins which are cryptocurrencies and of the cryptocurrencies is bitcoin as the number one that will later go mainstream. Halving could have caused this too, but not really practically, it cause it just in a way people do fomo after halving and investing on bitcoin (but institutions are the ones that are more responsible for it now) this could have led to investors that are investing now to be lured into investing, but although into profitable way of investment.
5944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1x2 vs the correct score bets on: November 18, 2020, 07:15:49 PM
No game is easy to predict until the match has ended, but it is still easier to predict the team to win a match than to go for correct score, but going for a correct score have higher odds because of the tiny chance to predict it correctly. I will prefer to go for who to win a match which is my normal correct way of taking bets, it is less risky, more predictable but it can come with low odds.
5945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: November 18, 2020, 03:54:15 PM
Bitcoin has a very transparent ledger called blockchain where all transactions can be easily tracked, but some people are still making use of tumblers such as mixers and coinjoin, but this are only used for privacy purposes, bitcoin can even possibly be easily tracked during investications than fiat money, I will advice you not to use bitcoin for money laundering. But if privacy is your concern, you can make use of bitcoin mixers or making use of wallets like wasabi wallet that can conjoin transactions.
5946  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric Sportsbook and Casino - Biggest Jackpots on: November 17, 2020, 02:06:00 PM
What is happening to litecoin withdrawal, it always took me less than few minutes before, although I do withdraw during the weekend on sundays before but due to one thing or the other I withdrew yesterday (monday), and yet I have not seen the transaction on my wallet, it is 24 hours now. Please, what is happening to litecoin withdrawal?
5947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $318K by December 2021 on: November 17, 2020, 09:23:37 AM
For bitcoin to get to such high price, do you know the marketcap needed for it, over $2 trillion marketcap is needed. The question is, can bitcoin have such marketcap before the end of December 2021? I do not think so. It is possible for bitcoin to increase in price and also get to over $1 trillion marketcap but that even should not be the talk of now, let people address about how bitcoin will get to $500 million marketcap first before approaching $1 trillion and then to $2 trillion marketcap.
5948  Other / Archival / Re: 6 Most Popular Criticisms Of Bitcoin on: November 17, 2020, 07:40:31 AM
It is common in life that many people will not know anything about something but they will complain about the thing, the complaint or view about the thing will be criticism and yet not constructive but pointless. I also have seen these points above to be pointless because bitcoin is just the opposite.

There is one I will wish Ratimov to add to it, many people said bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, and of which they are very wrong. I hope it will not be too long before they will realize their mistakes and start investing in bitcoin.  Bitcoin has been the most prosperous asset of the 21st century, it is created in a way it has brighter future in which its marketcap will be increasing and supoortimg the price to increase the more, bitcoin is the best money so far.
5949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Reaches 85% of Binance.US Volume on: November 16, 2020, 08:22:28 AM
PayPal Reaches 85% of Binance.US Volume in First Month

What will happen in next 3-6 months

https://cryptobriefing.com/paypal-reaches-85-binance-us-volume-first-month/
Common people know PayPal than binance, if PayPal support users from all over the world in crypto supporting countries to make use of their crypto services, it is likely it will emerge has the strongest custodial service providing platform in the world. But that does not take the fact that I can not make use of custodial services, I prefer the self custody.
5950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if China wants to takeover bitcoin? (Assuming controllable majority of hash on: November 15, 2020, 06:58:45 AM
How can China take over bitcoin, just take it that bitcoin is not a centralized currency, it is decentralized. Although, China has the high bitcoin miners but that does not mean they will take over bitcoin, it is not possible. People will only want to say what may not happen or what can possibly happen in the future, but as for bitcoin, no country can take over bitcoin, it is decentralized and open source and getting adoption from all over the world
5951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last time we saw 16K on Bitcoin price on: November 14, 2020, 07:15:02 PM
I do know anything about altcoins, all I know was that bitcoin was at $3800 at one point in 2018 around March, and now bitcoin is at $16000, that is not all but bitcoin will also be $20000 soon. I also like the fact that bitcoin is now getting world recognition which makes it stronger, with time bitcoin will reach all time high. We need to be very careful of altcoins because they can fall abruptly. Although I see some altcoins that gained truly, but we should be careful of the way they fluctuate abruptly, bitcoin has been the best coin to hold.
5952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: November 14, 2020, 06:56:59 PM
What's your opinion? Should we HODL for Life or for Lifetime?
I like this kind of question that deserves wonderful answers, I will prefer to hold bitcoin both for life and lifetime. About the shitcoins, you are very right, I have noticed many shitcoins too, even I was unable to gain from bitcoin cash and many like that this recent time, I was really pained I have my 50% investment on bitcoin while 50% for altcoins, if it was 100% bitcoin, I would have gained more. Like I was saying, I will like to hold bitcoin for life because over few years the price will pump, I will hold bitcoin for lifetime because bitcoin is a deflationary currency that my generations will benefit from.
5953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: November 14, 2020, 11:14:35 AM
Sometimes we can be greedy, we choose gambling because it does give us an opportunity to grow our money multiple times, and yes it's possible, however our problem is that we want to make it happen immediately, we forget to take it slowly but surely. When gambling and looking for a long term consistency, we should follow the word long term as it cannot be mastered overnight.
It does not matter we take gambling slowly or not, but taking it fast will let the punter to lose fast while taking it slow will let the punter to lose slowly, but losses are still the same results but of different ranges. Gambling is not about growing wealth or money, it should be about fun, if someone is gambling because he wants to grow wealth, most likely will later find himself selling the wealth for gambling until otherwise finally resulted.
5954  Other / Off-topic / Re: European Central Bank survey about digital euro on: November 14, 2020, 10:53:10 AM
Digital euro, there will be more transparency in the cryptocurrency, much of privacy invading means the governments of European union has finally been able to penetrate their citizens. The fiat lacks privacy but digital euro will make it worse, people and their digital euro will be easily tracked, and what known to people is the information hackers needs in order to impersonate or trying to hack someones device for money stealing.
5955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 14, 2020, 10:43:24 AM
I know there is already a poll of who you are going to think will win the competition, but is there also some sort of poll of people hoping that a particular team will win? I would like it if we get an outsider for the title again, just like Leicester City a few years ago.
Like me, I am not in support of any team, I am not also a fan to any football club. This season has just started, it is only eight games played so far, but it seems more of Liverpool having the strength to take the league title again, the chance for Liverpool is very high. Tottenham which is in second position now with Liverpool at the same point will surely never take it, while Leceister City do not have such strong team to emerge the club to take the league this season.
5956  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology is rendering the fiat money system of the 20th Century obsolete on: November 13, 2020, 07:34:40 PM
The fiat of a thing seem more of an old era currency, but we still make use of it today, it will take time before it can be completely eradicated, because many people still depend on it as they make use of it daily, people depend on both the paper and and digital aspect and I do not see it to be obsolete for now. With time, it is very possible it will become obsolete, but this will take long time to achieve, when CBDC will be the fiat of tomorrow which will make use of blockchain technology to operate, and this is happening already as many countries now creating their own cryptocurrencies.
5957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 13, 2020, 07:25:02 PM
As for me I prefer solo player of a thing, but there are times I can decide to go for multiplayer games, all just for fun and to enlive my other friends around me at the time. But, I prefer to just go for single playing because I am more confident to do that and still use what I can afford to lose, so losing is not much of a problem for me. I like the two but I prefer more of a single player.
5958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 13, 2020, 07:15:20 PM
Everyone can gamble but not everyone is capable, especially those who have some financial problem as gambling is not good for them.
Those who have financial problem should truly not gamble because gambling is not about making money, it is about fun, those that want to make money from it with haste will only lose, and that will be the result of a person that is having financial problem and gambling, gambling will only add to his problem. But, not only that, anyone that wants to make money from gambling thinking he can learn it and gain can not really make any difference, they will also lose at last, gambling should be for fun as the topic is suggesting.
5959  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which websites have hit you with random I.D Verification freezes on: November 13, 2020, 06:26:29 AM
Any of the exchange where their governments make it mandatory for the exchanges to enforce KYC are the exchanges that will enforce their customers to provide KYC, the KYC of a thing is getting stronger day by day as governments of certain countries are getting stricter in making privacy non-achievable by their countries. Exchanges like LocalBitcoins ans Paxful are part of these exchanges, that is why I can never use their service again. There are non-KYC exchnges like hodlhodl and bsiq that requires no KYC, but we do not know what can also happen in future with their governments that might also enforce them to enforce their customers to verify their accounts. I have seen noncustodial way the best.
5960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Importing addresses without sweeping on: November 12, 2020, 07:20:07 PM
OP is unclear on private key or address. Title and OP say about address.
You are right, normally private key can be sweeped, this often happens if someone wants to move his bitcoin from paper wallet to wallet like electrum because paper wallet generates only one private key. The op did not even know if it is one or two or more private keys.  And also private key can be sweeped but address can not. I will advice op to learn more about private key and wallets very well before making any move at all, he can ask more question here of anything he is not clear about.
