5941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos: Internal notifications, message inbox vs Email. on: April 17, 2021, 10:46:42 PM
Internal notifications in casinos should definitely be carried over to your email because it's not like you're going to check your gambling notifications everytime you login. Personally, I missed a lot of coupons, freebies, and sometimes just regular updates and news to the casino I am gambling on which I still would want to receive and learn more about, moreso when it comes to the TOS that most gambling sites don't even let their customers know right away.

i prefer also to send important notifications to my registered email. if you are not daily logging in the gambling website, this will be helpful as most of the time, you always check your email. but as other users have also mentioned, if you have handsome amount in your account, it is better to check your internal notifications as you may missed something important that will affect your account or funds.
would be nice if you can receive in both - email or internal notif for vital changes. from the site's end - this is to avoid complaints from players also.
5942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Smart Chain the "New Ethereum"? on: April 17, 2021, 10:09:21 PM
It is just like ethereum and it is forked from ethereum, we can not compare it to ethereum, because ethereum is the first smart contract chain. Ethereum also have the most decentralised network if we compare to bsc.

definitely, eth has the decentralised network here. right now, bsc gained their popularity owed to high fees in eth. but once eth rectified their prob, i guess, these projects more then likely will use both chains. eth is more popular than bsc. just so happen that people got fed up on its unreasonable fees. hope to see eth with cheaper fees again. but will take time maybe.
will not treat bsc as new eth. they have their own identities. and i want them to co-exist, as long as they are catering crypto users at their best.
5943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Google on: April 17, 2021, 09:32:49 PM
Why comparing bitcoin to google? Whether by price, market cap,  or etc. Can't see no %reason comparing them.

These companies with large market cap will be nothing when time goes if compared to bitcoin.

i guess, just for the sake of comparison purposes. bitcoin compared to popular markets. we will see more of this comparison thing between bitcoin and top companies. people are interested seeing their BTC compared to long-running and known companies. gives inspiration to some users who want to hodl their BTCs.  Wink
an attractive info also for newcomers. as btc market is relatively young as compared to these companies, we can see how btc is really growing fast throughout these years.
5944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 17, 2021, 08:52:18 PM
I am waiting on this fight to release in the betting site so that I will be able to bet on Ryan Garcia or what they called King Ryan of the ring. King Ryan will be the crowd choice for sure in which he is really so popular although Javier Fortuna is also popular but if it will be based on the record then the vote of the people will be to King Ryan and for me also I think he will be the one to win in this fight. Still waiting for this fight to be release in the betting sites.

Are you going to bet on ML for King Ryan? because for sure it won't be that attractive once sports betting sites release the initial odds. So I would advise you to wait for more betting odds instead of rushing on your bet, just saying.

Other betting odds such as per round would be good for Ryan, I'm expecting Ryan to be 1.1x-1.3x favourite early when the lines open.

yeah, am guessing sportsbooks will give such range of odds that you wont bother placing your bet on because it is not worth to place with. the per round odds maybe more attractive for bettors.
once these bookies released their odds, we will know what are their sentiments towards this fight. but more then likely, garcia will be the heavy favourite here.
5945  Economy / Economics / Re: Bernard Madoff dies in prison. A 20 year long Ponzi on: April 16, 2021, 11:11:38 PM
It is amazing how long a Ponzi may last.
It is crazy to think that people will not learn from their blunders even though they know that they are investing in scam ponzi schemes and cryptocurrency market also had its fair share of ponzi schemes inspired by Bernard Madoff and if you look in this forum you will identify many promoting them including OneCoin, Bitconnect and PlusToken and even with all the warnings people will ignore them and invest in them and end up burning their money.
Fortunately, those ponzi scheme project that is being introduced here in forum is already taken down before they scam many people. Maybe Madoff took advantage of a slower technology before and the lack of knowledge of many about investments before that’s why they last for years. Now that he’s dead I’m sure the justice was already serve.

am seeing a lot of ponzi websites outside the forum. offering high ROIs/passive income. but it is really up to the individual if he will be a victim of this scheme. their strategy is the same, deposit and earn passive income at a high rate. then, ask yourself - where are they getting the money that they will pay you as dividends if there is no clear source of their income? and normally, it also comes from the users' deposits.
madoff was just of the many individuals that successfully implemented his ponzi but at the end, he and his family suffered. maybe youre right, the technology before was different than what we have now. so he managed to sustain his scheme for 2 decades. today, once there is unsatisfied client, he can always make noise via social media and people will be aware of it.
5946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 16, 2021, 09:53:17 PM

Btw, this whole VisMin cup has been temporarily suspended as the investigation was still going on. Some says the other team (the low scoring team) has been banned, while the other team had several of their players suspended and fined.

This is what happen if the rigging is rampant, it become obivous and as a consequences, not only the team are put at risk but the whole league, imagine how much money they loss because of this suspension. I guess there should be a bigger punishment for those who are found guilty, a ban in any league for life would be suited for them.

@Kelvinid... Thanks for posting it here, it's already relevant to the topic.

and the shame brought about this incident will tarnish their reputation in basketball. that's too bad, the money involved might not even cover their losses. if you are rigging a game like this, it will really be obvious as people's eyes are on you on this game. and if you are familiar with the players, you know if there is really something wrong.
wonder if they still have a future on this sports. this will not be forgotten for long time. and it will be attached to their name as they move forward in this sports. they made it too obvious for people to see this kind of cheating..
5947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Going to buy 5000$ of tokens at their pre-sale on: April 16, 2021, 06:04:22 PM
To be honest this project seems like another scam project for me. Are you affiliating with the team? I thought if there's no reason to invest in the garbage coin like this even you have speculated to gain huge profit as well.

I really don't recommend you to invest here.
  • The team comes from Nigeria
  • Very long ICO time
  • The website template is the same as most ICO scam.
More than enough to proves if this project is having a big chance to become another scam project.
Im also seeing it too. It looks like he wants only promote this garbage project.

can i second the motion here? i browsed the site as well as wp, and the OP is about to get screwed if he will invest on this project. very likely that the OP is just promoting this project.
we are not new in this kind of tactic. checked their wp and you know they have nothing solid here.
and most projects attaching 'gold' in their name are crap as it can be. not buying this cheap strategy of shilling this project.
stay away from this "buying scheme" bait..
5948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early signs of crime with bitcoin. on: April 15, 2021, 11:46:02 PM
Criminals will never end they are all over the world, be it the usual criminals such as drug cartels, organized crime, gang members or in this case cyber criminals. People should not take cyber criminals into account as an excuse not to invest in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. IMO, people should gain knowledge about cryptocurrencies with the means we have (Social networks, TV, Internet, etc.) so that they can take advantage of and overcome the crisis in which we are currently living.

exactly! everywhere, whether in fiat or crypto, there will always be crime. so if you are afraid of the crime committed by such entity, then, one should be afraid of touching fiat, right? so yeah, it is all up to you if you will believe all these negativities. it is on you how you will use it appropriately and to your advantage.
i guess, ignorance is also a big factor why they perceive things on a different perspective
5949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 15, 2021, 10:46:25 PM
To honest and dont offend those Garcia supporters but I don’t really like Ryan Garcia, he’s too young but his ego is too much for his age. He’s been spending his time training and making vlogs but every time I watch, I cringe. You can always feel how arrogant this guy is.

On the other hand, I’m not that familiar with Javier Fortuna. Never watched even a single of his match. But he looks capable of winning.

But technically, Ryan Garcia’s fighting style is actually good. So I would place my side with him for now. It’s just that, him showing off is attracting bad luck to his career. But we will see.

Hehe, that's pretty normal for kids nowadays. Yup, i agree with you that Ryan Garcia has cockiness in him but the good thing about that is he can back it up inside the ring whenever he goes up for a fight.

Might work for his advantage as it's also additional marketing for himself just like the style of Floyd Mayweather. The more haters, the more people watching not because they are a fan but they are watching because they want to see him lose.

Garcia seem to be good in selling himself, @ReiMomo, you didn't notice that he already attract your attention and you would want to watch his fight hoping he will loss. lol.. Garcia minus his cockiness, he is still a great fighter, he is a reason to boost because he has that "0",,, and what I like about him is he want to big fight which other fighters are afraid to maintain their undefeated record.

That's the strength of this kid, he really knows now to sell himself, his twitter + instagram account alone bolstered of more than 1 millions subscribers fans already. The kid has talent and for now he can talk like that to any the fighters he face because he can proved it. His is making his statement win, Duno fall, Luke Campbell although he was knock down, was able to get from the canvass and then finished Luke. So yeah similar to Floyd's cockiness and brandish boxing. And then if he knock out Fortuna his stock will soar again.

What only made him different from Floyd is that he is not dodging a fighter, he even challenges champions to fight him, even with higher ranking or standing that him, so that's one of the reason why despite of his cockiness, I still like Ryan Garcia.

as long as he is not trash talking, thats fine with me. he has the guts to challenge big names because he feel he has the power to fight them. and i guess, he really has it. selling himself without ruining others' reputation is fine.
interesting what odds will the bookies give to this match???
5950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on how to place sports bets on: April 15, 2021, 09:52:37 PM
Do you really think that there can be a winning strategy in sports betting? It seems illogical to me - too many factors that matter are constantly changing, so even if such a strategy existed, it would have to constantly change (to fit the circumstances), but in this case, how is it different from guessing or a series of successful bets?

Of course, there are many factors that contribute to changing the evaluation of clubs, such as improving and decreasing the playing level of most clubs, so the strategy must always be changed.

Overall, I think the majority of the advice cited on this topic is sufficient to improve our skills while betting on sports matches.!! I guess the sentiment factor needs to be evaluated while betting!!!

My idea is that by collecting and analyzing information about the club and the players, we can get some information about their chances and if we are super successful in this, we can beat the bookmaker (theoretically), but this is not a strategy in the conventional sense this word. The strategy is very versatile, which can be applied in different conditions and should lead to approximately the same result. There is nothing like this in betting.

and remember, betting in sports, if you are truly familiar with such sport, has better chance of winning. rather than playing those luck-based games. if you breath and live a particular sport, you will know the potential of the club/players when they are already on the field. so the chance of winning is higher. this is why there are a lot that can make a living via sportsbetting.

I just noticed that you can now withdraw your Ethereum, using a Binance smart chain, is this safe what is the best wallet to use when withdrawing Ethereum using a Binance chain I only use ERC20 on my Ethereum, but on the BSC chain I can save a lot of fees, what are the advantages and disadvantages.
Withdrawal using bsc should be fine as long as your personal wallet supports BEP-20 tokens. It looks like Metamask is the most go to ERC-20 wallet so I'm assuming you are using that as well. You can use the same ethereum address but you have to add the BSC network for the balance to reflect.

Tutorial: https://www.bsc.news/post/connecting-metamask-wallet-to-the-binance-smart-chain

i can say, it is pretty safe. same with other coins on this site. they are fast in withdrawal. really great that they add the BSC network in ETH withdrawal. now, you can withdraw your eth even if you have small amount, unlike when the only choice was ERC20 network.
and if you noticed, they have long list of alts now. betfury team is really impressive. even if they have no internal exchange, they are making withdrawals easy by adding networks like BSC and TRC20, which has very cheap fees.
5952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Biconomy - Enabling Digital Economies of the Future on: April 15, 2021, 08:01:07 PM
use cases are great! but how can you prevent crappy projects to use your platform? this is the usual prob of every network. if scammers find out about the easy deployment of their project to a specific network, they will use and abuse it. is there some kind of protocol that will stop these scammers in abusing your system?
5953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SIFI] SIMIAN FINANCE - 5% fluid yield, NFTs, Rug-Proof, Save 🙈🙊🙆🙉 on: April 15, 2021, 10:21:22 AM
What I like most is no one can control the contract (no rug-pull, high liquidity, and high yield).

Safer than bitcoin  Cheesy

is it? guess youre just kidding here.  Tongue

this is already a revival. you should have chosen the BSC network instead. since ETH has still high fees, i dont think you can attract small time investors here. but anyway, good luck! if youre intentions of helping some charity organisations is genuine, thats great!
5954  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: April 14, 2021, 11:52:49 PM
Where it will stop it is not sure but if we think about current price of bitcoin in the market, within some days bitcoin may cross the land mark of $100k. Price isn't suitable for us to buy but after some days, it will tough to buy a little amount. So we should enter the market right now.

No clear sign about the bear since even if certain bearish market hit btc easily recover so maybe let's assume that we can see more btc bullish market until the end of this month, but let see what performance could possibly bring up on next month since hopefully we can see it more aggressively pumping the same these days.
Already anticipating for some bearish trend on next months to come, its a bit unusual for this run to be that long or shall we say that it isnt something similar back in the past.

For now im waiting up for that moment but it seems that the market is way too positive for me to wait up for possible dip or hard correction. Bitcoin is playing around 58k and 63k.

We dont know if we would eventually break 65k until goes to 70k which would really be that possible for this year if the said movement would continue in gradual phase.

we cant compare it from previous history as the market today is really different. top financial companies pouring their funds into this market and finally known companies like paypal and tesla integrating crypto in their system. and i believe, it is not yet stopping as more companies are trying to enter in crypto market, whether to buy their own BTC stash or include crypto in their payment system.
so am not seeing that we will go bearish soon. but are we happy about this progress? of course! we are now more than 60k level and only a matter of time before we reach the 70k mark
5955  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: April 14, 2021, 11:07:58 PM
Hi folks!  Just an update from our end (thanks Mahdi for pinging us Smiley).  We've been hard at work implementing the next phase of Futuur, which will include several major updates, including the ability to bet using multiple crypto tokens.  Our goal is to reduce as much friction as possible, and offer low and no-fee options for deposits and withdrawals.  This list has not been finalized, but currently we are considering offering these tokens:
-
What do you guys think?  Do you have suggestions for other coins we should accept?
Pretty good list of new coins. It a good thing that your team is listening to the gambler's request, Adjusting to today's scenario would be necessary especially on high fees on Bitcoin and Ethereum network. Adding BSC on the listed token is a must because of the lower to no-fee transactions. This caught my attention so I might go try your predicting site this week.

let's see when will they add those alts in their payment method. actually, the list is already great as a start. they can just add other alts later on. maybe EOS and USDT (TRC20) in the future.
i believe the activity will increase once those initial alts will be added. most small players are complaining about the high withdrawal fees in btc.
they need to keep up with updates also. even small ones will give interest to the community

- Max. reward is 100 BTLLR daily for 1 account.

We recommend you to use BTLLR coin to deposit and withdraw profit on betller.io
Learn more about how to deposit BTLLR - https://bit.ly/3ddwwvv

Let's bet!

maybe you can increase a lil bit about the max reward as with the current rate, i dont know if bettors will be interested with it. but anyway, that's a good start in promoting your BTLLR coin in your betting platform.
i hope you can also think of other promos for those who are not discord users. maybe even for the forum users. just think that not all players would join your discord.
also, are you gonna add other games to attract more players that are not interested in pvp betting?
5957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot is the Real Ethereum killer? on: April 14, 2021, 09:00:10 PM
Polkadot, Cardano, EOS, etc are all run by morons.

To kill ETH all you need to do is copy/paste it and make it faster and cheaper. That's exactly what CZ did with BSC, and it's surpassed all the other silly ETH competitors very quickly.

you have a point! lol and look at what BSC is doing right now, you can see the impact alone on the price of BNB. you will see new projects utilising BSC network or old projects suddenly switching to BSC. so where are the other eth killers doing? even if BSC is a centralised one, still these devs and users are going into it because of the popularity of binance as well as cheap fees.
no doubt they step up its position in the market and now currently holding the top 3 position. eth team should rectify their gas fee prob very soon or else, projects are turning away from their platform.
5958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: April 14, 2021, 10:54:09 AM
The difference is that banks almost guarantees the profits that they are promising, while with Bitcoin no one guarantees anything, you can earn a lot or lose a lot. Also banks serve another vital function - they lend money to people. Because of this, banks will always exist.

If you imagine all people in the world abandoning their saving accounts for Bitcoin, it would create an enormous bubble, and the early buyers would profit from it greatly, while the late buyers would lose everything, as Bitcoin would correct by 95% or more. This is just a thought experiment, because nothing like this is going to happen, but still.

and if i may add, with savings in the bank, you know for sure that your money is safe and secure and will not lose its value overnight. though the interest is really small as compared to other financial investments, but you can also get other benefits by keeping your money at the bank like if you want to lend in the future.  just treat it as someone is securing your savings.
with bitcoin, you can really get very good profits these days. however, what if the opposite happens in the market? i guess you will tell to yourself that you should have kept your money at the bank.
so this situation goes to show that there are really advantages when you diversify your portfolio, you can get both the benefits of these types of investments
5959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Tron (TRX)? on: April 13, 2021, 11:28:49 PM
I think the reason for the rise is due to higher demand and not only TRX but BNB and other blockchain based project which have their own ecosystem with little fee. Alot of people started moving to blockchain such as TRX and BSC due to lower fee. Many of us even prefer to withdraw our USDT with TRX variants. These all contributed to the rise of the TRX.

this is true, withdrawing USDT via tron network is very economical right now. and other TRX-based coins, even the TRX itself. and since eth has still ridiculous fees, a lot of crypto users are appreciating other networks like bsc and tron. so right now, they are enjoying the market as the opportunity is really at their doorstep. now, it is up to these networks to be aggressive with their marketing and continue the interest from the community.
5960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DEFI & CEFI] Psyche.Cash | The Future of DeFi | Private sale on: April 13, 2021, 10:56:25 PM

Feel It's been a long time since seeing you in this thread, this new update has calmed down a bit for those who want psyche tokens listed on the exchange. So there will be psyche's own local exchange, okay sound interesting. Just like you, of course we hope that it will run according to the plan that you are currently designing.

yes, because it seems they are not successful in keeping their target value of $1 in exchanges. this is hard as it is not pegged to the actual USD assets. interesting if an algo-based stablecoin can really make it in the market.
if there is still development going on, then theres hope for this project...
