5941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big Banks and MainStream on: January 29, 2023, 05:48:21 PM
The reaction of major banks and conventional organizations to bitcoin has been divided. Some people have been wary, even critical, of cryptocurrencies, while others have been more accepting.

Many large institutions have previously been cautious to adopt bitcoin, citing worries about its volatility and lack of regulation. However, opinions have shifted in recent years, with more and more mainstream organizations becoming interested in bitcoin. Companies such as PayPal and Square, for example, have begun to enable their users to purchase and trade bitcoin, while large banks such as JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs have began to provide bitcoin-related services to its clients. Furthermore, institutional investors are beginning to include Bitcoin and other crypto assets in their portfolios.
5942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's been your experience with IEO tokens launched on BKEX? on: January 29, 2023, 05:31:23 PM
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

You can use this link to estimate which exchange is good for IEO. In my opinion, BKEX is not a good platform but during the uptrend, they do add a lot of shitcoin, luring newbie to their exchange and then doing suspicious stuffs

Kucoin is far better than bkex.
Kucoin is definitely an awesome exchange. I still have more than $400 on their exchange. Their withdrawal process is extremely fast and convenient
5943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 28, 2023, 09:30:18 PM
Yeah, you have the idea. High risk means high reward. People are too greedy and inpatient so that investing in altcoin is an appropriate way to get rich fast. But as you can see, there are also thousands of people lose everything in altcoins. Terra, FTX, etc. Those are example of foresee risks in altcoins because if we make proper research, we can reduce the risk and stay away from those scam.
5944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: January 28, 2023, 09:12:52 PM
According to the recent market news and by expert analysis and on-chain data too. I think my conclusion is that yes the bear market is ended before last week i was not sure and considered it as a bull trap. For now, i can say that the market does not continue to the ralley of above 35k at least until Q1 is going to end.
News already getting better with enchancing good news concerning the bull season. The bear season have lasted for a long time and I don't still believe that the dump is over, although we seeing bull signs but they're triggered to entrapped investors and traders in the market into thinking or having the possibility mindset about the bull season which end their accounts in liquidation. The bear is not yet over, I'm definitely sure about that but sometimes, green long candlesticks are formed in charts, hoping for bull to start calling which is any time soon.
You have my complete and absolute agreement. The current state of the market is unquestionably one that can be described as precarious. I mean, yeah, we're seeing some indicators of a possible bull run, but it's hard to tell for sure whether it's the genuine thing or simply a trap to draw in inexperienced traders. I mean, sure, we're seeing some signals of a potential bull run. Maintaining a level of healthy skepticism and resisting the need to be carried away by the excitement is, in my opinion, quite crucial. Bear market conditions have obviously persisted for some time now, and I believe that we have to be ready for the chance that they may last for some more time.
5945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - Lending Collateral on: January 28, 2023, 08:57:21 PM
It's encouraging to see you exploring DeFi in more depth. You provide an intriguing contrast between borrowing with collateral and not borrowing and exchanging other assets in place of the collateral.

You normally need to provide collateral to obtain a loan when you borrow assets. The lender will be able to retrieve their assets if you fail on the loan thanks to this safety mechanism. However, if you are just exchanging your own assets for other assets rather than borrowing them, you are really just conducting a deal.

When you trade assets using collateral, you don't borrow the other asset; instead, you use your assets as security to get the other item. If you want to profit from price changes in the market or want to have exposure to a certain asset without owning it altogether, this might be a good technique.

On the other hand, a more conventional technique of lending is to borrow assets against collateral. It enables you to utilize assets that you do not own and gives you the option to borrow certain assets to pay back with interest in the future. This is a means for you to get access to money or other resources that you would not have had previously. It can also be a good approach for you to invest in resources that you think will increase in value.

It's important to keep in mind that utilizing your assets as collateral in either situation carries some risk. You can end up losing part or all of your collateral if the value of the assets you're using as collateral declines. Because of this, it's critical to be constantly informed of the risks involved and to determine your comfort level with possible losses before putting your assets up as collateral.
5946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Greedy Machine NFT on: January 28, 2023, 08:40:25 PM
You can do research on the NFT he is talking about I think this is the one OP is talking about
The Greedy Machines vol.
Is this a new method for cloud mining websites? But this time by adding the word NFT? Or what?
I do not know, but everything gives you profits based on bitcoin mining without buying the hardware yourself, or it is a well-known company with a tax return, so it is SCAM.

Bitcoin mining is an activity that requires serious investment and therefore is not something that tries to attract investment after the start of the project.
I have the same feelings with you. I have just asked google to provide me with some images of "GMT's mining farm and unsurprisingly, there is no results or realistic images.

I'd suggest people not to involve in any kind of that. Make sure to pay some time to DYOR before entering any project
5947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 28, 2023, 08:24:40 PM
And still the Memphis Grizzlies on the losing streak, they have no answer from the Wolves, good shooting night and everyone was scoring on their side. While the Memphis had one of their worst game and a lot of turnovers.

So much from them for not taking the West and just looking at Boston Celtics are per Ja Morant.

Now they are on a desperation, although they are still in the second spot but this is their 5th straight lost.

The Grizzlies' performance really hasn't been impressive lately, but I don't think they're desperate because of their current losing streak. As you said, they're still in second place in the Western Conference standings, and they still have an advantage over the Kings, who are currently in third place in the standings. I mean, the Grizzlies coach still has time to analyze and find the reason for the team's poor performance and make adjustments accordingly.
Although the Grizzlies have had recent difficulties, they are still in the race. They have some breathing space since they are still comfortably in second position. But let's face it—if they want to hold onto that position, they need to improve. The Kings, after all, are right behind them and won't give up easily. However, I have faith in the coach, knowing that he will identify the issue and implement some fixes. There is still time for them to make a comeback since the season is still young.
5948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 28, 2023, 08:06:51 PM
Although the house always has the advantage in gambling, It does not play an important role. And I do believe that there are people who continually make money from gambling. If you win a large sum in a casino on your first visit and never return, the first scenario you stated, may be seen as a win. You were fortunate to have time to withdraw your winnings before the odds caught up with you.

In the second case, it would be wise to use the money you received to launch your own company. If you're able to utilize your gains to improve yourself and your future, then I'd say you've "fought" the house in that sense. Gambling may be addicting, I'd suggest to learn how to stop
5949  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: January 28, 2023, 07:51:06 PM
I really hope that the marketing team know how to run a suitable campaign because it is necessary for your pvp to have a decent number of players so that everyone has someone to play with.

When will the debut date be? I really want to try it. Moreover, you can give us some demos such as images or the game rules. It will be a lot more exciting to have additional information about your project
5950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin compete with CBDC's? on: January 27, 2023, 10:36:05 AM
I don't think so. People are losing their faith in the government, especially people in the USA. In my country, it is hard to find someone who fully supports the government and its centralized system. The current monetary system has existed for many years and flaws have been found everywhere. Suspicious transactions, centralization, printing, manipulating, inflation, etc have made many people tired of it. If you ask people on this forum, most of the people will choose bitcoin over cbdc because of the freedom and decentralization

So, IMO, CBDC will not stop bitcoin, it only make cryptocurrency become even famous
5951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Online Gambling Fraud on: January 26, 2023, 06:06:23 PM

  • 1. Bonus Abuse
Bonus abuse is the practice of joining up for a service repeatedly using promotional offers that are typically only available to new members. There are various terms are used to describe it, such as bonus abuse, casino whoring, bonus hunting, and promo abuse. This practice, known as multi-accounting in the fraud world, frequently targets no-deposit bonuses like free spins or free money. It mostly affects poker, casino, and sports betting websites, but any business that leverages signup bonuses as a marketing strategy may be at risk.

The problem is that fraudsters attempt to create as many new accounts as possible, relying on stolen IDs, resulting in synthetic identity fraud and prepaid credit card details to bypass the Know Your Customer (KYC) checks. More sophisticated criminals can also have the resources to use emulators, virtual machines, and even residential-like IPs, such as Socks5 proxies or mobile networks to leverage fresh IP addresses.

This can be extended to all types of abuse. Players/hackers can identify some sort of bug and start to abuse the system. I try to find some related articles about this issue but unfortunately, this is the only article I have:

5952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana takes back top 10 position on: January 26, 2023, 05:46:27 PM
Solana is once again a top ten coin, I am starting to feel like I will regret not buying solana and hold for a long time because if this project survive it will bring the highest ROI in the list of top coins on coinmarketcap, the present value is even looking good, what is your take on Solana? Are you a believer or you think it won't do well for long.

Whales keep pumping SOL for unknown reasons. But if the Solana blockchain itself keeps failing, the pump won't last for long. Just because it's among the top 10 ranks in market cap, doesn't mean it's worth the investment. Market cap is just the calculation of the coin's total circulating supply multiplied by the current market price. What really matters is the project's real use cases to the mainstream world.

So far, it's been driven by hype instead of delivering concrete results to the public. There has been so many network outages in the past, which greatly damages Solana's reputation. With the FTX collapse, SOL will lose traction in the long run (especially when FTX was a major investor of the coin). There are far better alternatives that are much more reliable and decentralized than Solana. Instead of focusing on Solana, why don't you take a look at Cardano or Polygon instead? Just my thoughts Grin
Solana is promising, based on what I have read. They do have a fast blockchain. But above all, they have a great community that understand how powerful Solana is. In my country, the number of Solana developers is only less than the number of Solidity developers. And there have been several start-up companies using Solana for their layer 1. FTX is an absurd event. If Solana survive through this winter, I believe it deserves to stay in the top 20 for next 10 years

I intend to hold Solana but I am quite too late. If the price goes lower, I will definitely accumulate a lot.
5953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any news on Sui ICO or launch ? on: January 26, 2023, 05:30:07 PM
There is not much news with SUI

I have searched the internet and the only article I found is: https://u.today/sui-network-inches-closer-to-its-long-awaited-launch-with-this-new-protocol-upgrade

I assume that joining a community hub such as discord will give you much more information. And there will be no ICO for SUI

5954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 26, 2023, 05:14:29 PM
Lens is a team that I never expected to see higher than tenth in the League One table, but Lens is doing everything they can to qualify for the Champions League next season, and I am confident that if they have consistency, they can compete with PSG because the points difference is so small.

You are right. Lens was a team for whom being in the top 5 of the points table was a huge achievement for them. And this team is fighting for the title this season. They are consistently performing well and are second in the table. And the important thing is that they are only 3 points behind PSG. Their defenders have been outstanding this season. Lens conceded 13 goals in 19 matches. Due to such performances from the defenders, the Lens team has been able to continue fighting for the title.
And even they have only lost once this season, it's just that the draws they got are quite a lot. However, what Lens has shown so far has made the competition in Ligue 1 feel more alive. 3 points is the ideal distance for them to keep their distance and even catch up. But it is indeed very difficult to beat Paris Saint Germain, until now, it is the teams in the top 4 who can beat them. I hope there are other teams ready to surprise.
Lens dont need to beat PSG in a direct match. They just need to consistently win against other team. And if they successfully to do so, Ligue 1 will be their. And you are correct. Ligue 1 is more alive than ever. Just look at the scoreboard, not just Lens but Marseille also have an outstanding results recently. This season will be tough for PSG to secure their title. Let wait and see how crazy the league will be
5955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 26, 2023, 04:54:55 PM
Although arsenal now has a 5 point difference and also has 1 game less advantage than manchester city but it is not appropriate for us to believe that the title will be theirs at the end of the season, right now I think Manchester city just needs to wait for arsenal to slip up and the final weeks usually it will be the real test for arsenal to win the title, so far arsenal has often experienced inconsistency when the english league leaves only a few matches left and that is why I am quite doubtful if arsenal will win the english league even though they are currently leading, in my opinion two matches will be very the determining  for who teams will be the next champion,   ie away and home matches between Manchester City and Arsenal, anyone who can get perfect points in that the match, Of course ,  is possible thats the team will be championship..
Regardless of whatever you say for Arsenal, it is clear that this season Arsenal have experienced an increase in strength and that is very different from last season. So there is a greater possibility for Arsenal to win the Premier League this season even though there are still many matches that must be passed by all teams including Arsenal.

The next two matches for Arsenal might look easy for Arsenal to win before meeting Manchester City, and for Manchester City itself, they also have to do better in the next two matches before meeting Arsenal so as not to be further behind Arsenal in the standings.
Indeed, Arsenal has a persuasive performance this season and they has the highest chance to win the 2022-2023 title. Their match against Manchester United was exciting and thrilling. But they need to improve their scoring skill if they want to go even further. 25 shots with 20% of accuracy is not a great number

I really wait to see how Manchester City plays against Arsenal. MC seems to lose the spirit because of winning so many title in the recent years but I bet they will not let Arsenal humiliate them.
5956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Aptos pumping ? on: January 26, 2023, 04:33:39 PM
We will never understand the market fully. Just follow the trend, accept the myth but still have a sharp mind to stay away from FOMO. Coins are just randomly pumped and dumped and when they do, FOMO is what make it rise even higher

I have read about Aptos, they are indeed good project. But buying their tokens at this point is not a wise decision. I will choose to stay behind the scene and wait for a good shorting position.
5957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Australia launches stablecoin on: January 26, 2023, 04:15:34 PM
Quite confused, I thought all the banks would use the same stable coins. However, from what I have read, there have been 2 differentiate AUD stable coins from 2 different banks. I guess there will be a lot of things need to adjust. For example, if a neither the banks accept each other coins, it will cause negative effects to the customers who want to transfer their coins to other banks

Well, it is still a positive news to the crypto community that there is country which has their own stable coins but still accept cryptocurrency widely. Australia must a nice place for any crypto-enthusiast, unlike the China
5958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you into crypto at the moment? on: January 26, 2023, 03:53:22 PM
Financial opportunity is the number one reason why there are so many people involving in cryptocurrency, including me. I have been in the community for a while and I have to tell you that we can earn basically from anything: airdrop, trading, buying/selling with crypto, etc. It really does open a new era of internet economy

Though right now it is the winter of cryptocurrency, there will always be chance, as long as you willing to search for it. Or at least we can wait for the next uptrend phase where there are many many more ways to earn free crypto, or even free Lambo
5959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ugh, There's gonna be another 5000 new Alts released under Cardano Ada on: September 07, 2021, 04:40:12 AM
You are very optimistic about carnado. However, I doubt that it can happen. First, most of the users are familiar with ethereum and finance smart chain or any wallet start with 0x. Second, there is no way that companies would move to another blockchain. It might hurt their businesses.

Ada is a good coin. But do not blindly make such statement like that. 5000 alts are kinda a joke
5960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stocks Vs Crypto, Which is Better? on: September 06, 2021, 07:11:16 PM
Each has different pros and cons. Stocks are more suitable for old school investors and crypto is better option for the new generations and who love to see technology change the world. And you know what, they can influence each other. For example, s&p 500 can affect the cryptocurrency with a sudden drop/rise.
