The previous group buy was quite a success and a new Kialara has arrived, so it's time for round two, don't you guys agree? Let's get some of those pretty pretty coins.
For more information check out the website or this thread. Prices
You can order both Kialara's! - 5: $540.00
- 6: $639.00
- 7: $738.00
- 8: $837.00
- 9: $936.00
- 10: $990.00 + free shipping to me
- 11+: $990.00 + ($99*n) + free shipping to me
Shipping The Netherlands: €7.95 Rest of Europe: €11.00 Both are Registered mail with Track & Trace included. Extra costs
- We need to pay VAT to import the Kialara's into The Netherlands, which is the largest extra cost we have (we do not have to pay import costs). It's currently at 21%.
- UPS demands another €11.25 as disbursement fee.
Terms
- The group buy won't happen if not at least 5 coins are ordered.
- The group buy will be closed, for new participants, when we hit 20 coins or when this month (January) is over.
- Once the group buy is closed for new participants the final price will be determined, split between the participants and posted.
- Any BTC that is left over (because the package wasn't checked, the BTC value went up, etc) will be evenly distributed between the participants.
- Coins will be shipped as soon as they arrived (if time/weather allows), as soon as you have paid for shipment and as soon as I know the address that they're going to.
- We will be using devthedev's escrow service.
- Don't send BTC to me, send it to the escrow address. Everything that's send to my address will be seen as a donation.
- Terms can change at any moment, so please keep track of them (they will be announced in the thread as well).

Why are you asking an obvious question? Apparently that is obvious to you, but it's not to me. Also, we are not talking about 'bad members'. We are talking about DefaultTrust members. Can you please link me to the profile of the DefaultTrust member you claim to have seen being removed? I thought you were talking about the DefaultTrust in general and not about someone being removed from level 1. I've no idea about that, sorry. Please take that argument elsewhere, it's off topic here. I'm done. Sorry for the derail.

Aah, so you are not an impartial observer. You have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo. For the record though, you are not on the DefaultList - just depth level 2. You're not in the super class league. Since you brought up CanaryInTheMine, has his status changed yet with all the notice he received? Why would I have a vested interest in maintaining my depth level 2 status? I don't care about it. I will voice my opinion anyway if I feel that it's necessary. As far as I know, CanaryInTheMine has removed the bad members from his trust list and the issue was resolved. More about this can be found: here.
|
|
|
It gets noticed alright, but does anything actually happen mate? I could be wrong, but in my time here, I've never seen anyone on the DefaultList removed. But on a more fundamental level, aren't you the least bit uncomfortable by the very presence of a super class of users? I have seen it before, yes. The last time wasn't that long ago and was about some people that CanaryInTheMine had on his trust list / that he rated. And no, I don't feel uncomfortable with a "super class" of users "above" me. I have been here for over 1.5 years and I never had any problem with the "super class", even though I don't always agree with them. In fact, I joined the "super class" yesterday, because BadBear added me to his list. Does that make me a better human? Not at all.

|
What makes you think its not happening now - but instead of an army, only involving a handful of people? Because that's all it takes. The same reason why having a puppet army wouldn't work for me. It gets noticed and people that abusive their ratings will be removed from the Default Trustlist (and most of the positive feedback they have gets removed).
|
|
|
Theymos, why do we need a DefaultTrust list in the first place, either the existing one or the proposed modified one? Why do we need to create a class of users who are more equal than the rest? What practical purpose does it serve? Shouldn't all of our ratings be equal? I can understand (and in fact support) if you and BadBear are given extra trust privileges. But for everyone else, shouldn't we have a level playing field?
Simplify the trust system. Let all trust ratings be equal. 'Trade with extreme caution' should appear only when members accumulate more negative than positive ratings. Don't leave the power in the hands of a few select individuals. Welp, I'm off creating a puppet army to give everyone that I don't like a negative rating!

|
|
Do you have an example of the blockchain.info one?
|
|
|
It's not better than Default Trust, so I voted for No. Forcing newbies to pick people to add to their trust list isn't the way to go.

Hi , thanks for the fast response. Yes from BedBear , I hope when these 3 escrow services will finish he "may" remove his negative feedback. It would be very appreciated. The negative ones from Quickseller , I also hope he will "reason" well and at the end will make the right choice. That sounds really wrong if you ask me. It shows disrespect towards Quickseller and his opinion. I wouldn't remove my rating if someone said something like that to me.

I also recommend Electrum for small amounts of BTC. It's quick, it's easy and it's lightweight. You simply download Electrum, start it up and it's ready to-go in less than 10 seconds (after you completed the basic setup). ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

jasonslow never repaid Boelens and me. For reference, please see this message in our old lending thread. The account has been sold to Injust, but neither have paid us back.

I hope that everyone has received their Kialara by now and I also hope that everyone saw the little extra I added. It's an "Aluminium Casascius Physical Bitcoin"-coin, which I got during the European Bitcoin Convention in Amsterdam. Just to be clear, I do not own the website that's been printed on the back.

Felt this was slightly more appropriate, heh. Sorry, but someone had to point out the true meaning of your words ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Hush you and be gone. Let me choose my own words, you pervert. Not everyone wanks 24/7 like you do. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Overdrive141, you should checkout CandyStripes' trust ratings: "Admits to attempting to extort a couple forum members via PM. Deal with caution."
If you gave him two working accounts, you don't have to do anything. He bought it, the account works and thus your business with him is finished and finalized. He cannot force to give you an refund. A neg. rating from him doesn't mean anything either, so don't worry about it if he leaves you one.
