5961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with cointellect.com is 45X more profitable than it should be on: December 25, 2014, 04:22:11 AM
I had the same problem but for me instead of adding a credit card i brought a contract using bitcoin and it done the trick (my account is now verified).

I thought it was established that cointellect was a scam?

It is. End of the story.

Seems like this post had good SEO... Tongue Look at the views it got. Unreal

What is the point of going to the hidden wiki when you search in a search engine the hidden wiki link?

So everyone knows what ur looking for?

You can also search for it while using TOR. The search engine TOR uses by default is startpage and startpage uses google to provide users with results. Same goes for duckduckgo too. But they claim to not keep logs and also allow proxies and exit nodes to use them.

I don't have a fulltime online job but from my experience it's not that hard to find people that are willing to pay for gigs like programming, design, content creation, copywriting, marketing etc. People usually go from gigs to regulars and in some cases fulltime freelancing. IMO That's not something for everyone though.

Content creation is the easiest job to get started with in my opinion. You don't need to have any knowledge on technical stuff to start a blog about something or write articles for someone else. But it also has a lower payment if you're just getting started. If you're really interested to get into that, I could give you a couple of tips so feel free to PM me.
5965  Economy / Services / Re: Cryptomine.io - Signature Campaign with a twist - Well worth your time [Closed] on: December 20, 2014, 03:17:29 PM
Carra, you got any words from the owners?

Edit: the website is actually loading today. Just really slow. Maybe a ddos?
5966  Other / Meta / Re: DPR subpoena on: December 20, 2014, 04:40:41 AM
I have a weird feeling that wants me to believe that there could be a connection between this and theymos not accepting ads from bitmixer. Maybe after receiving a subpoena he's afraid to sell advertisment space to any website that could be considered a money launderer in any way. Because we all know that this is one of the main reasons people use bitcoin mixers and tumblers aside of anonimity.
5967  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you work online? What's yout way to stay away from distraction? on: December 20, 2014, 04:03:43 AM
Self-discipline.

Really? That's all for you? Αpparently discipline isn't enough for me, even when I'm in the mood to keep working on something all day I won't be nearly as productive without listening to music and blocking distractions in some way or another.
5968  Other / Off-topic / Do you work online? What's yout way to stay away from distraction? on: December 20, 2014, 03:30:06 AM
Mine is to listen to uplifting music while working, preferably vocal dubstep and edm. I'm also occasionally using a browser extension to keep myself from entering the horrendous wonderlands of distraction like reddit.

What do you do to stay focused?
5969  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIORS ARE COMING FOR OUR MUSIC #metalgate on: December 19, 2014, 05:44:43 PM
I'd like to see how big this could become. And I can see it getting bigger if it gets enough buzz that publishers can see a profit out of it. I'm a longtime metal music fan myself, I'm never surprised when metal music receives wrongful coverage through major media channels. Some are even willingly refusing to call genres with their name and just call every band that has electric and bass guitars hard rock or just rock. I never thought this could be a problem to the industry though, but now with #metalgate I see people saying it's a threat to our music. Is it really a threat though? Can people trying to push an agenda for social justice really affect a music genre?
5970  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tribler the offers bittorrent anonymity that is "impossible to shut down" on: December 18, 2014, 09:22:43 PM
Are their games on it and do they accept Bitcoin? Cheesy I need to take a closer look at this one, going to try it out and see what happens.
Wait this is independent from the other torrents? I though I could download any torrents with it.

You can... It can be used as a normal client. But from what I understand there are certain benefits amongst it's users like being able to use their network for anonimity while downloading torrents.

I'm not sure what Lethn is talking about.
5971  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tribler the offers bittorrent anonymity that is "impossible to shut down" on: December 18, 2014, 07:31:29 PM
I did try it as well. I can't speak about technical details but download speed seems to go down as you increase anonymity. Probably the anonymity feature could be more usefull later on if more people get to use their software.

From an article on Torrentfreak:
[...]researchers at Delft University of Technology have released the first version of their anonymous and decentralized BitTorrent network. "Tribler makes BitTorrent anonymous and impossible to shut down," lead researcher Prof. Pouwelse says.

Their website:

It's also open ource:

And there's also an invitation for researchers to help create a censorship-free Internet:

What are your thoughts?

@starttheart, fuck you and your low quality replica. Find a better day job.

Here's a gif showing that the request image and the final result are almost identical. I guess that besides of being an unapologetic rude asshole you're also delusional.

Care to tell us how you were convince you to do this without escrow? Did he tell you it's "insulting" to him that you'd like to use an escrow or something?
5977  Economy / Securities / Re: Increase your coins with paypal on: December 17, 2014, 06:50:06 PM
Not only it's a bad idea, fewcoins is known for being an ignorant spammer and troll. Tongue I'd say putting your dollar bills on fire would be more productive.

Today has been a good day for drama fans.
5979  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SEGVEC CONNED ME OUT OF 14.09 BTC on: December 17, 2014, 03:52:06 AM
The guy seems shady, we exchanged some messages a while ago. He refused to use escrow claiming that it's insulting to him. Also really rude and loud. I'm not surprised at all.

I'd like to see what the countercampaign for this is going to be.
